Christian Adams with Megyn Kelly: DOJ Atty Resigns DOJ in Black Panther Protest Video

Megyn Kelly interviewed J. Christian Adams, the Department of Justice (DOJ) attorney who was the lead attorney in the prosecution of the New Black Panthers for voter intimidation at a Philadelphia poll place. In what Adams says is the clearest example of voter intimidation in the history of his career was judged guilty, then DOJ Civil Rights Division was ordered to dismiss the charges and drop the case. See the video below.

New Black Panthers - Voter Intimidation in Philadelphia

Adams resigned his position and left the DOJ for private practice in May 2010. This quote is from his commentary in The Washington Times:
Most disturbing, the dismissal is part of a creeping lawlessness infusing our government institutions. Citizens would be shocked to learn about the open and pervasive hostility within the Justice Department to bringing civil rights cases against nonwhite defendants on behalf of white victims....Open contempt is voiced for these types of cases.
In The Washington Times, Adams made these points:

1) The dismissal of the Black Panther case "was motivated by a lawless hostility toward equal enforcement of the law."

2) Some in the Department "abetted wrongdoers and abandoned law-abiding citizens victimized by the New black Panthers.

3) Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights, Tom Perez "inaccurately" testified to the House Judiciary Committee

4) "Most corrupt of all, the lawyers who ordered the dismissal - Loretta King, the Obama-appointed acting head of the Civil Rights Division, and Steve Rosenbaum....
5) Some inside Justice say this is an isolated incident, but other similar cases happened at polling places in Philadelphia, including one targeting Hillary Rodham Clinton. Adams says "the law clearly prohibits even isolated incidents of voter intimidation.
6) The evidence shows that voters were affected by intimidation, but even if it didn't, the law demands punishment of "an attempt."
7) Some co-workers argued the law should not be used against black wrongdoers because of the long history of slavery and segregation. "Some called it payback time.

Note that Kelly asked for a statement from the DOJ, and part of their answer to Adams is that he "is a Conservative." What does being Conservative or Liberal have to do with Human Rights? (Thanks to Lonely Conservative for the video)

Elizabeth Edwards on Rielle Hunter That Other Woman (Video)

Elizabeth Edwards has a new chapter in the newly released paperback of her book Resilience. Talking with Matt Lauer on the Today Show, she talked of the heartbreak of realizing that she could no longer be John Edwards' wife, and she wants her children to love their father, because he may need to be there for him if her cancer takes a bad turn.

"

I have great empathy for Elizabeth Edwards: empathy that she married the guy in the first place, then that she stayed with him for 33 years, and that she is battling cancer and has had that battle for a number of years now.

Having said that, it will be a better day when scorned women can talk about their philandering husbands without talking about "that other woman." It's useless. Only the husband is accountable to his wife. Only the husband is responsible to and accountable for their children. Only the husband is bound by the sacred ties of marriage.

And having said that, she really said very little of Rielle Hunter, "that woman." And she says, "I am not just a cuckolded wife.

Pete Stark asks Minuteman Who Ya Going to Kill Today? Stark the New John Murtha

Listen to this exchange between Congressman Pete Stark (D-CA) and his constituents. Stark is rude, demeaning and disingenuous.  He asks a self-identified Minuteman who he's "going to kill today." Stark takes the place of the once-rudest man in the U.S. House, John Murtha.  See the video below.

Pete Stark

Stark, an atheist, has been representing California for 37 years, currently in the 13th District - covering the San Francisco Bay area. He won his last election with 75% of the vote. He obviously believes he has  his House seat for life, and so can tell people to "get the f**k out of here or I'll throw you out the window." See that video here. The blow-up comes at the end.

Here is some conversation from the video with the Minuteman:
Stark resumed his hostile act, asking the Minuteman what he would do to secure the border.
"I would send about about 25,000 troops for one thing and build a wall down so vehicles could not pass," the Minuteman said.
"How high and long would it be?" Stark asked.
"As high and as long as it takes," the Minuteman said, elicting cheers.
Stark said he would start a ladder company with the Minuteman if he designed the wall and doesn't shoot the people coming over.
"But I've got to know how high the wall is and I'll sell a whole lot of ladders for people who want to come," Stark said.
"This is a very serious matter and you're sitting there making fun of it," the Minuteman responded.
"I don't have to make fun of you sir, you do a fine job all by yourself," Stark said.
He has a number of gems to his credit. These are just a few: He once said his Republican colleague, and Baptist minister J.C. Watts' (R-OK) children we all born out of wedlock. He called Rep. Nancy Johnson (CT) a whore, and blamed Jewish members of Congress for the Persian Gulf War. Karen at The Lonely Conservative has one you won't believe.

Stark owns a townhome in Fremont, California and a $1.7 million waterfront home in Anne Arundel Cty, Maryland. He claimed the Maryland home as his principal residence for the larger tax break - until the IRS caught him. He's just another Democrat tax cheat. When the IRS story came out, he rushed to say that he and his wife are registered to vote in California and hold California driver's licenses.

Rep. John Murtha, long on the list of the Most Corrupt Politicians in Congress, didn't just steal taxpayer money. He accused eight Marines of intentionally murdering Iraqi citizens. He stole seven years of their lives. Seven were found not guilty and the case against the eighth was dismissed. Murtha, himself a Marine, refused to produce his military records, and his "war hero" status and Purple Hearts are still suspect. To be fair to Stark, he doesn't measure up to John Murtha.

Kagan Stalls on Commerce Clause

Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK) asks Supreme Court nominee, Elena Kagan, if a law saying Americans had to eat three fruits and three vegetables every day is supported by the Commerce Clause in the U.S. Constitution. Coburn's question is analogous to the healthcare law passed, and supposedly made legal by the Commerce Clause. See the video below.

Elena Kagan

Kagan would not answer the real question. She understood that Coburn was asking about healthcare legislation, but said passing a law requiring everyone to eat three fruits and vegetables a day would be a "dumb law."  Her answer? She thinks:
"courts would be wrong to strike down laws that are senseless just because they are senseless."
Many do not believe the healthcare law will pass Supreme Court scrutiny, because it allows the government to require everyone in the U.S. to buy a produce (health insurance), and if they do not, they will be penalized by the government. In other words, citizens will be penalized for DOING NOTHING.

Related is this article on Elena Kagan changing expert witness' recommendations on partial-birth abortion - lies that made it all the way to the Supreme Court.

Elin Nordgren Divorces Tiger: Elin Woods $750 Million Settlement

The early reports that Elin was positioning for a $750 million divorce settlement were spot-on. Elin is divorcing Tiger Woods, and he is banned from bringing skanky or non-skanky women around her children. Watch for updates.

Elin Nordgren Woods

This report says she has "sole physical custody" but they will split legal custody of their two children. There will be no women around her children until and unless Tiger marries, and in her lifetime or his, she cannot speak of the girlfriends and her ex's repugnant behavior - no interviews, no books, no TV appearances at anytime, even if Tiger meets his demise first.

I'm betting Tiger will be back with Rachel Uchitel before his next tee time.

Asylum Granted for Son of Hamas Mosab Yousef

This news just in - Mosab Hassan Yousef has been granted political asylum in the U.S. When he got to court, the good news was DHS dropped their objections.

Gonen Ben-Itzhak and Mosab Yousef

Mosab, many in America are celebrating with you tonight.
God Bless
SAN DIEGO — The son of a Hamas founder who became a Christian and an Israeli spy will be granted U.S. asylum after he passes a routine background check, an immigration judge ruled Wednesday. Mosab Hassan Yousef got the news during a 15-minute deportation hearing after a U.S. Department of Homeland Security attorney said the government was dropping its objections. The agency denied Yousef's asylum request in February 2009, arguing that he had been involved in terrorism and was a threat to the United States.
Attorney Kerri Calcador gave no explanation for the government's change of heart.
The immigration judge, Rico Bartolomei, ruled that Yousef will be allowed to remain in the United States after he is fingerprinted and passes a routine background check.
Yousef, who has been living in San Diego, was cheered by supporters as he left the hearing. He said he loves living in California, wants to become a U.S. citizen and hopes to pursue a master's degree in history and geography. "
I will keep fighting the ideology that is behind terrorists because I know how they think," he said outside the courtroom. Yousef, 32, said he could not explain the government's abrupt decision, but said authorities may have had second thoughts after reviewing his case more closely.
"For 10 years, he fought terrorism in secret, hiding what he was doing and who he was," his attorney, Steven Seick, wrote in a court filing. "He deserves a safe place away from violence and fear."

Jonathan Hunt Responsible for Mosab Yousef's Handler Coming to US? Yousef in Court Today

In this video interview with Shep Smith and reporter Jonathan Hunt took place yesterday, the 29th, and includes comments from Mosab Yousef and his handler, Gonen Ben-Itzak. Mosab is in court this morning. Also, very interesting that Shep says to Hunt:

Jonathan Hunt
I'm told you persuaded his Israeli Secret Service agent to go public in support for Mosab."
If Hunt was involved with bringing Captain G to the U.S. that is incredible. The Fox reporters are mountain-tops above the rest of the media.

At Save Mosab Yousef, we have been told yesterday Shep Smith mentioned that the Immigration Court was moved to a "desert" location for security. We cannot confirm that, but have had two unrelated reports. Mosab is either in Court this minute, or perhaps it is now over (court would have convened one hour ago). Stay tuned for the "verdict," and if you hear the news first, let us know. Cross-posted from SaveMosabYousef.

Elena Kagan Manipulated Medical Science to Fit Abortion Into the Democrat Agenda

Shannen W. Coffin writing at the The National Review OnLine today has a story titled Kagan's Abortion Distortion. Coffin is an attorney in Washington, D.C. He was the deputy assistant attorney general in charge of the defense of the federal Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act during the Bush administration.

Partial-birth Abortion - Step 2

PowerLine has the same story, A Smoking Gun in the Kagan Case? here you will find copies of Kagan's communications as she set about to manipulate a Supreme Court decision by participating "in a gigantic scientific deception. Also see a copy of the handwritten note written by Kagan suggesting how to change the truth.

We know that this White House is not above changing the recommendations of "experts," as Ken Salazar and Obama did when they rendered their report saying "experts" recommended a drilling moratorium - when they did not. We got an apology and nothing more. Now it seems Kagan has the same disdain for expert opinions - she is all about Democrat politics, and obviously "not a love of the law," as I've heard over and over today used to describe Elena Kagan.

Teresamerica writes extensively (and eloquently) about abortion and the Rights of the Child. She also refers to the National Review OnLine Report and has a video of an illustration of a partial birth abortion. If you have not seen this, and do not know how partial birth abortions are performed, watch this video at Teresamerica. It's a short film, well-worth your time.

Congress Signs Letter Supporting Mosab Yousef - No Democrat Signatures

Congressman Doug Lamborn (R-CO) released his letter to Department of Homeland Security in support of Mosab Yousef this evening with 22 final co-signers. Not a single Democrat signed the letter.

Doug Lamborn

In this Daily Caller post, they asked Lamborn if he thought the letter would be effective in the DHS Immigration court tomorrow. His answer is sobering and shows the trepidation those of us familiar with Mosab's case are feeling about his dangerous situation. He is at the the mercy of Homeland Security. The final signers - not a single Democrat among them. Maybe Congressman Lamborn didn't ask a single Democrat to sign???

Final 22 co-signers:

  • Rep. Trent Franks, Arizona Republican
  • Rep. Mike Pence, Indiana Republican
  • Rep. Frank Wolf, Virginia Republican
  • Rep. Joseph Pitts, Pennsylvania Republican

Obama Admin Actively Working with Hamas: Musa Abu Marzook the Hamas-Obama Connection?

News is out that the Obama administrative is actively working with Hamas, and specifically with exiled Hamas official in Damascus. That person is likely Musa Abu Marzook. Marzook was a darling of Jeremiah Wright during the time the Obama family attended Wright's Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. In fact, Wright reprinted a Marzook manifesto in one of his Sunday bulletins. Marzook, also known as Mousa Abu Marzook (Marzouk, Marzouq, Marzuq) is a founder of the precursor to CAIR, and the Deputy Chief of Hamas' political bureau which is based in Damascus. He was directly involved with The Holy Land Foundation which provided funding for Hamas with the help of the U.S. Treasury.  Marzook is American educated and had permanent residency status here. He is a force to be reckoned with.

    Musa Abu Marzook

Knowing that the U.S. is perhaps now working with Hamas, brings another possible revelation: as you know, many of us have been advocating for the Department of Homeland Security to grant Palestinian Mosab Yousef political asylum, rather than deporting him. His deportation hearing is tomorrow (June 30th) in a San Diego court. The question has been, why would DHS even think of deporting this young man, especially when his own people (Hamas) have called for his death, and knowing that Yousef saved many lives in Israel, including the life of Shimon Perez. The answer is likely due to the cozy nature of the Hamas-Obama Administration relationship.

    From Reaganite Republican:
It surely doesn't help they've been secretly meeting with Hamas leadership for months, either- could this morally-warped and strategically-incompetent administration be offering-up the life of Mosab Yousef in their greasy, Chicago-style wheeling and dealing?
Yousef, in some of his writings, made the point that DHS is "embarrassed" at his presence in the U.S. because he, the son of a Hamas founder, applied for and received a visa to come to the U.S. Something we might think DHS would not allow without knowing about it and sanctioning it. Until he went to the DHS office, they didn't know he was in the country. This is what Mosab believes is behind his immigration hearing.

It must go much deeper than that. Administration officials have tried to silence Hamas, but if you are familiar with Islamic braggadocio, you know that dog won't hunt. TheBlogProf has the details of the YNet report on the Administration connection to terrorism, along with the quotes. Bob Belvedere at The Camp of the Saints [where I first read of the Hamas-Obama co-habitation] has the story about the possible impact on Mosab Yousef, and a report on the help of our legislators to help Mosab Yousef stay in the U.S.  Actually Bob points out the first place he saw the story of the connection was at Reaganite Republican. Same for me, but I must admit I completely missed the story, which I choose as the outrage of the last 18 months.

Chris Christie Budget Passed by Democrat Congress

New Governor Chris Christie's (R-NJ) budget, cutting "hundreds of millions of dollars" has been passed by the Democrat Congress.

    Chris Christie

New Jersey was facing an $11 billion deficit:
The budget, approved by the Assembly early Tuesday morning and by the Senate hours earlier, is close to the one Gov. Chris Christie introduced in March amid some blunt talk about the state’s bleak finances. He said New Jersey was facing an $11 billion deficit and needed to cure its addiction to spending.
Democrats got just $74 million in programs and services restored to the budget out of roughly $400 million sought. They insisted that Republicans sponsor the budget bills, so the GOP would own the bare-bones budget.
Christie was scheduled to sign his first budget Tuesday afternoon. The fiscal year starts Thursday.
In the Senate, Democrats supplied the four votes needed for the budget to pass. All 17 Republicans supported the budget, and it was approved 21-19.
Family-planning is big with Democrats in New Jersey. Most of us plan our families without the help of the state, but:
One of the most unpopular budget cuts among Democrats wes the elimination of $7.5 million in state funding to 58 family planning centers.
In the end, Dems got their $7.5 million. They did not get their one-year surcharge on millionaires.

The tough lesson is, most of us have to pay for our irresponsible spending eventually.

Rasmussen Survey Tea Party Understands Issues Better than Congress

Rasmussen reports that 52% of U.S. voters believe the average member of the Tea Party movement has a better understanding of the issues facing America today than the average member of Congress, and they believe Tea Party members are more ethical.

    Tea Parties on the Issues

Not that Congress cares, of course:
When it comes to those issues, 47% think that their own political views are closer to those of the average Tea Party member than to the views of the average member of Congress. On this point, 26% feel closer to Congress.
Finally, 46% of voters say that the average Tea Party member is more ethical than the average member of Congress. Twenty-seven percent (27%) say that the average member of Congress is more ethical.
     Tea Parties on Socialism

Scott Rasmussen, author of a new book In Search of Self-Governance, says:
“The gap between Americans who want to govern themselves and politicians who want to rule over them may be as big today as the gap between the colonies and England during the 18th century,”
Listen up Karl Rove, John Cornyn, Newt Gingrich, Susan Collins, Olympia Snowe, even 28% of Democrats say their own views are closer to the average member of the Tea Party, and:

On all questions, Republicans overwhelming prefer the Tea Party. Unaffiliated voters also prefer the Tea Party by wide margins...
...a plurality of women prefer the Tea Party over Congress on every question in the survey.
Welcome news - sort of a nah na, nah na, nah nah moment.

Pocasset Okla PipeLine Explosion: Enogex Pipelines Explode

Two Enogex pipelines have exploded about five miles west of the town of Pocasset, Oklahoma in Grady County.

    Enogex Pocasset Pipeline Explosions

Pocasset is located about 30 miles southwest of Oklahoma City. Highway Patrol has closed roads southwest of the intersection at CR1260 and CS2780. Early news reports three injuries.

Three employees of Enogex were working on a device that removes water from the line when the explosion occurred.

Philadelphia Bars ICE from Arrest Data

Philadelphia has decided to deny ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) access to their database of arrests, which includes country of origin.

    Independence Hall - Philadelphia

ICE has had a year-old agreement with the city to use the police database. Philadelphia is a tad upset that ICE has actually deported persons because they are in the U.S. illegally. The city of Philadelphia is obviously breaking Federal law by knowing the person is illegal and allowing them to stay. "Human Rights" is the worry. Some of the people in the database had committed small crimes, not big ones. Helloooooo! Most of us never commit a crime in our lifetimes. How about every city across the U.S. just following the law? Let's start with Washington, D.C.
Under the agreement, ICE agents can routinely access the city's Preliminary Arraignment Reporting System (PARS). That agreement is up for renewal on Thursday.
"It is the mayor's view that the PARS agreement should not be extended," Gillison [deputy mayor] said, speaking at a South Philadelphia church meeting attended by more than 300 immigrants and their supporters
This incident was reported at a meeting called by the New Sanctuary Movement:

One man, who gave his name as Ignacio Aguirre, described the arrest of his son. He said the boy had been at the beach, where he used a knife to cut a watermelon. He put the knife into a backpack. Several days later, without thinking about it, he took the backpack to school and tripped a metal detector. It was an innocent mistake, the man said, but it resulted in a visit from ICE and house arrest with an ankle bracelet for his child.
Is Mr. Aguirre illegal, as is his child? When you read further into the article, it is possible that at least one person on the City Council might not be re-elected if deportations of illegals continue.

Philadelphia, the city where the U.S. Constitution was born with the enormous personal sacrifice of the Founders, is today the city with the highest violent crime rate in the country.

Jeff Sessions Opening Remarks at Kagan Hearing Video

Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL) listed an astounding number of violations of Federal law committed by Obama's Supreme Court nominee, Elena Kagan. I am at a loss to understand how Democrats will find this woman, who has spent her professional life in activism, with complete disdain for the U.S. Constitution, qualified for this life-time position. The fact that she will end up on the Supreme Court and my children and grandchildren will live with her lack of integrity and contempt for the Rule of Law is heartbreaking. See the video below.

    Elena Kagan

Here are a few of Sessions comments (paraphrased):

Kagan has less real legal experience of any nominee in at least 50 years.

Not only has she not been a judge, she has barely practiced law, and not with the intensity and duration that I think real legal understanding occurs.

Kagan has never tried a case before a jury

She argued her first appellate case just 9 months ago. There is no substitute of being in the harness of the law, handling real cases over a period of law.

Kagan has spent her career in policy and politics, mixed with law.

Her college thesis, Socialism in New York, bemoan socialism's demise.

Her Master's thesis noted the activist tendencies of the Earl Warren court - but said it could have done a better job justifying their activism.

Kagan left law for 5 years for politics.

Kagan was central figure in the White House Clinton-Gore effort to restrict gun rights.

She was the point person for the Clinton Administration effort to block Congressional restriction on partial birth abortions - the key person to convince Clinton to change his mind from supporting restrictions to opposing legislation that would ban it.

While at Harvarvd as the Dean, she reversed existing policy, and kicked military out of recruiting offices in violation of federal law. She punished our Military and demeaned our soldiers as they fought in two wars overseas.

Kagan joined 3 other law school Deans to write a letter in response to Senator Grahams legislation to establish procedures to determine who was an enemy combatant in the war on terror. She compared this legislation, which passed 84 to 14 as fundamentally the same as the lawless actions of a dictatorship. Gr

As Solicitor General for 1 year, her short tenure was not without controversy. In her first appellate argument that speech and press guarantees of First Amendment would allow Federal Gov't to ban publications and pamphlets discussing political issues before an election. [Session reminds her of Thomas Paines Common Sense]

As Solicitor General, Kagan approved filing of a brief  to SCOTUS asking that it strike down provisions of the legal Arizona Workers Act which suspends or revokes the businesses licenses of corporations which knowingly hire illegal aliens, even though Federal law expressly prohibits such hiring. She did this even after the liberal 9th Circuit upheld the law.

There is much more. I hope you will listen to the video. If you believe Kagan should be confirmed, please ask yourself why you want a judge who will attempt to change, at least the First and Second Amendments, refuse to define an enemy combatant and abort late-term babies?

Vartan Gregorian and the Link to Obama and Bill Ayers: Gregorian on WH Fellowships Commission

Those watching Obama's connections to former Weather Underground member, Bill Ayers, knew that Ayers was the link to a completely inexperienced Barack Obama taking charge of The Annenberg Foundation's, Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC). Obama had $100 million, at least, to spend on education in the Chicago area. It was his first shot at leading. He failed miserably. Vartan Gregorian had a front row seat to watch the CAC train wreck, but one year ago, maybe it was payback time, he was appointed to Obama's White House Fellowship Commission.

    Vartan Gregorian
    This according to WorldNetDaily:
Documentation shows the White House fellow, Vartan Gregorian, was central in [Bill]Ayers' recruitment of Obama to serve as the first chairman of the project, the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, or CAC - a job in which Obama worked closely on a regular basis with Ayers.
Canada Free Press also confirms the WorldNetDaily story as far back as 2008 when letters written in 1994 from Gregorian at Brown University notes Ayers part in forming the CAC board of Directors.

Gregorian was born in Tabriz, Iran to Armenian parents. Today he is president of Carnegie Corp. of New York. He was a president of Brown University and the New York Library. While at Brown, Gregorian served on the selection committee of the Annenberg Foundation. Ayers was one of the founders of the CAC. Gregorian asked Ayers to appoint the governing board with "people who reflect the racial and ethnic diversity of Chicago." It's my guess those ethnicities included no Jews. Mr. Gregorian is on the Board of Directors of Human Rights Watch, which was instrumental in the despicable Goldstone Report accusing Israel of war crimes.

Then Obama with the CAC and Ayers with his Small Schools Workshop set up an office, together, and shared that office for three years. Ayers, the terrorist, is the man who Obama insisted was just "a guy in the neighborhood.

From there Obama and Ayers went on a $100 million dollar spending spree. In the end, both of them were a spectacular failure in their mission to improve education in the Chicago area. Unfortunately for these two opportunists, learning can be measured, and the schools they gave money to had no improvement - all verified by the Annenberg records.

When the money was gone, Annenberg shut it down. But before the till was empty, Bill Ayers and his Small Schools program got a nice share of the money that Barack doled out at Ayers direction.

Knowing all of this, years later in 2009, Vartan Gregorian, along with other notables, sent an open letter Obama asking for 5% of the stimulus for education. Education received $100 billion from the stimulus that glaringly produced no stimulus.

REMINDER OF OBAMA AND THE CAC:

An example of how things worked at the CAC: grants went to the South Shore African Village Collaborative. The 'African Village' spent $150 million on 'rights of passage' (puberty rites), and Kwanzaa celebrations.

At the same time, others were not worthy of grants: The Chicago Algebra Project, with a goal to increase student achievement, The District 5 Math Initiative: goal to aid Hispanic students in the process of learning English and to further learn math and science - not worthy.

Causes supporting ethnic identity were the focus, and the program was a spectacular failure under the Director of the CEO, Barack Obama.

Stanley Kurtz, writing for the National Review OnLine poured through the CAC papers and noted that Obama gave money to others who favored "extremist Afrocentrists who shared his pastor, [Jeremiah] Wright's, anti-Americanism.

Can't help but wonder if Gregorian and Ayers still have contact. Thanks to PoliticiansLie for the video.

Jeremiah Wright Martin Luther King was Wrong: Wright says Blacks Born in the Oven of America

Jeremiah Wright taught a five day course at the Chicago Theological Seminary last week, on the grounds of Chicago University. He had a lot to say to his small class of no more than 20 "older" African-American women who could afford to pay the $300 if not needed for college credit, or $1000+ for credit. Wright claims that Martin Luther King was wrong to advocate for non-violence for blacks "born in the oven of America." Who would pay the man to praise this country? Anyone?

    Barack Obama with Jeremiah Wright

Forty-two years after the death of Martin Luther King, I think Wright is calling for violence against Whites.

From the New York Post here are some of the more disgusting quotes, although his "God d**n America" can't be topped for the worst of his outrages, and s you read them, remember that Barack Obama and Michelle sat in this church for 20 years:
We probably have more African-Americans who've been brainwashed than we have South Africans who've been brainwashed, he said, and seemed to allude to President Obama twice: "Unfortunately, I got in trouble with a fella for saying this...All your commentaries are written by oppressors." At the mention of nation of Islam head Louis Farrakhan - whom Obama disavowed during the campaign - black leaders "go cutting' and duckin,' he said.
"You are not now, nor have you ever been, nor will you ever be a brother to white folk," he said. "And if you do not realize that, you are in serious trouble."
The civil-rights movement," Wright said, "was never about racial equality. It was always about becoming white . . . to master what [they] do." Martin Luther King, he said, was misguided for advocating nonviolence among his people, "born in the oven of America."
"White folk done took this country"

Jeremiah Wright Home built in the oven of America

You probably remember that Trinity United Church of Christ (TUCC) built a million dollar home in a gated in the Odyssey Club neighborhood on a golf course. The New York Post has an interesting bit of info: before the $1M home, the Wrights lived in a two-story house in an affluent subdivision "surrounded by roadblocks: the line between rich and poor is literal. His former neighbors all say he kept to himself." NewsBusters' Noel Sheppard has more and  says no one besides the New York Post reported this incendiary event. Once more, who would pay this man to talk nice?

Chris Matthews Republican Suicide Bombers Video

In this video, the conversation with Chris Matthews and his guest, Politico's Jim VandeHei,  is the whine that Republicans believe they have momentum, so will not help "The President" with any of his legislation. When I hear this, and I do, over and over, I find myself talking back to the screen. The point is, we agree with absolutely nothing coming out of this White House. Everything is radical, so why would we co-operate? After VanderHei drones on, Matthews breaks in and compares Republicans to suicide bombers...and says we "don't care who dies." See the video below.

    Suicide Bombers

This comparison by Matthews of Conservatives to suicide bombers is puzzling. I thought all progressives had great empathy for the "plight of the Palestinians" and their valiant fight against the Jews, you know - a dedication to bringing justice to their people. The heartbreaking act of a noble mother strapping her young son into the explosives, leading him to the 72 virgins, and not caring who dies shows martyrdom is the last act of mercy for "the people."

Conservatives are interested in bringing justice to the people as well, and we plan to use our Constitution to do, just as the Palestinians use their Charters and Constitutions to send the suicide bombers forth - or at least they did until Israel erected the wall and cut them off.

I think understand Matthews now. He wasn't criticizing us. He was pointing out how heroic Republicans are for standing up for principle. You know, Chris, it's inconvenient but you really can't have it both ways.

Congress Bows to Free Speech Restrains Presidential Powers: Liebermann Copies China

Capitol Hill believes there needs to be a "kill switch" for the Internet. Americans balked, so Senator Joe Liebermann, a supporter of the legislation, got right after protecting our interests. The scenario now is, if Obama needs to use the "kill switch" to shut down the Internet, he can do so WITHOUT Congressional approval for 120 days, or 4 months. After that period he must get Congressional approval. I feel much better now [note sarcasm, if you have any doubts].

From PrisonPlanet - snippets below - please read the entire article.
Despite the Center for Democracy and Technology and 23 other privacy and technology organizations sending letters to Lieberman and other backers of the bill expressing concerns that the legislation could be used to stifle free speech, the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee passed in the bill in advance of a vote on the Senate floor.
Liebermann came up with a good one. He noted that China has the same policy.
“Right now China, the government, can disconnect parts of its Internet in case of war and we need to have that here too,” Lieberman told CNN’s Candy Crowley....
As we have illustrated, fears surrounding cybersecurity have been hyped to mask the real agenda behind the bill, which is to strangle the runaway growth of alternative and independent media outlets which are exposing government atrocities, cover-ups and cronyism like never before. [and Drudge is given as one example
This report says US Cybersecurity Czar Howard Schmidt wants an "online identity ecosystem," and part of that "ecosystem" is the use of identity cards for an Internet user. Intended to be fabulous news is the fact that with the new "ecosystem" users will no longer need "an ever-expanding" list of usernames and passwords." The government cannot keep information secure. They don't even get close.

I like my usernames and my passwords, and what they are or how I get to them should have nothing to do with government.

Michael Oren Israeli Ambassador: Tectonic Rift Between Israel U.S.?

The attitude of the Obama administration toward Israel has created a mammoth divide between the two countries, according to five Israeli diplomats who quote Michael Oren, Israel's Ambassador to the U.S. This is more than Obama's rude treatment of Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House. It goes far deeper than a dis, and for anyone paying attention, Israel could hardly feel otherwise. Oren has denied the reports to Haaretz.

    Michael Oren

An interesting note about Michael Oren, he was born in the U.S. and was an American citizen until he accepted the Ambassadorship, which required that he relinquish his American citizenry. So, the five Israeli diplomats said Oren met with them and this is their story:
“There is no crisis in Israel-US relations because in a crisis there are ups and downs,” Oren told a closed briefing to senior officials in the Israeli Foreign Ministry's North American Branch and research division, Yedioth Ahronoth's Itamar Eichner reports.
“According to the Israeli diplomats, Oren said …’Relations are in the state of a tectonic rift in which continents are drifting apart,’” Haaretz said.
“Oren noted that contrary to Obama's predecessors - George W. Bush and Bill Clinton - the current president is not motivated by historical-ideological sentiments toward Israel but by cold interests and considerations,” Haaretz reports.
“He added that his access as Israel's ambassador to senior administration officials and close advisers of the president is good. But Obama has very tight control over his immediate environment, and it is hard to influence him. ‘This is a one-man show,’ Oren is quoted as saying.”
The Obama administration is not merely drifting away from Israel, it jumped into the strongest current and joined Israel's enemies (put your finger anywhere on a map and you'll fined them) heading far downstream, as far away as possible. However...this Haaretz article quotes The U.S. Undersecretary of Defense Ministry, Michele Flournoy saying "defense ties between Israel and the U.S. are stronger than ever."

Mosab Yousef's Israeli Shin-Bet Handler in US for Court Hearing

Mr. Yousef’s Shin-Bet handler has been known to Americans as only “G,” until now. Captain Ghonim appeared in Washington, D.C. Wednesday night, June 24th, at an event honoring Mosab, and will attend court on Wednesday morning.

Mosab Hassan Yousef (Joseph in America)
    From NewsMax:
An Israeli intelligence officer who spent more than 10 years as the secret handler of a top agent inside the Hamas terrorist organization has come out of the shadows for the first time, revealing his identity at a Washington, D.C., event on Wednesday where his former agent was honored…
Yousef introduced Ghonim Wednesday night as “a great brother, a true friend, a family member. He was a man of his word.”
It wasn’t for ego or applause. Indeed, the man identified as “Captain Ghonim” could face jail time back in Israel for having broken his cover.
So why did he do it?
To speak to the character of Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of a top Hamas leader, whom the pro-Israel Endowment for Middle East Truth honored in the Senate Caucus Room.
“Mosab is not a terrorist,” Ghonim told the audience. “I have known him for more than 10 years.”
Ghonim said he plans to go to the court in San Diego where an immigration judge has threatened to deport Yousef back to the Palestinian territories on grounds that he was a member of a terrorist organization and had taken part in terrorist operations.
“Mosab prevented killing. He prevented violence,” Ghonim said. “Mosab, I will be with you in this trial and I will tell the truth.”
This is such excellent news. This “event” was in Washington, D.C. Wouldn’t it be interesting to know who is “honoring” this brave young man? Read the entire story at NewsMax.

Mosab's court date is next Wednesday, June 30th at 8 a.m. Keep the prayers winging. This article is cross-posted from the Save Mosab Yousef website where you can find indepth background on this story.

J Christian Adams DOJ Atty Quits Over New Black Panther Dismissal

In an incident that rocked the foundation of America's voting system, the New Black Panthers stood in front of a Philadelphia polling place and threatened and intimidated voters in the November 2008 elections. The DOJ took the case to court and won a default judgment against the three men when they refused to show at court for five months. Then the Civil Rights Division of the DOJ got involved and attorneys were told to dismiss the case. Rep. Frank Wolfe was prevented from interviewing the trial team. "This whole thing stinks to high heaven," said Wolfe. Now a DOJ trial attorney has resigned over the dismissal, we learned that in May, but now he has made some very provocative accusations. See a video below.

    New Black Panthers
    Look at this quote:
Most disturbing, the dismissal is part of a creeping lawlessness infusing our government institutions. Citizens would be shocked to learn about the open and pervasive hostility within the Justice Department to bringing civil rights cases against nonwhite defendants on behalf of white victims....Open contempt is voice for these types of cases. ~ J. Christian Adams
     J. Christian Adams is a hero in my books. We know this is happening, but of course, we could not prove it. I hope we do not forget this man and this inside information in the coming months. I thank God for him and would put money on others inside the Obama administration feeling the same way.

From The Washington Times via Velvet Hammer on Twitter and Velvet Hammer Blog where you can see Eric Holder testifying before the Senate Judiciary committee - testimony which reveals only some groups are protected by American Justice.

These are the main points of Mr. Adams piece in the Washington Times. You can read the entire article at one of the links above:

    According to Adams:

"Some called it payback time."

Note that Mr. Bartle Bull, a longtime civil rights activist and former aide to Sen. Robert F. Kennedy's 1968 presidential campaign gave a sworn statement dated April 7 that he was serving in November as a credentialed poll watcher in Philadelphia when he saw the three uniformed Panthers confront and intimidate voters with a nightstick. Mr. Bull's testimony was not considered and he was not contacted by the Department of Justice.
"In my opinion, the men created an intimidating presence at the entrance to a poll," he declared. "In all my experience in politics, in civil rights litigation and in my efforts in the 1960s to secure the right to vote in Mississippi ... I have never encountered or heard of another instance in the United States where armed and uniformed men blocked the entrance to a polling location." ~ Bartle Bull

Kopps Custard Manager Asks Biden to Lower Taxes: Joe Ignores Him - Eats his Free Ice Cream

What a jerk. Joe Biden was in Greenfield, Wisconsin for a fundraiser for Sen. Russ Feingold (D-WI). He and his entourage stop by Kopp's Custard Stand. Biden donns a two-corner hat, gets behind the counter and does something unuseful. We see him with a cone of yummy-looking frozen custard. He loses the hat and tries to pay. The smiling Manager tells him the custard is comp'd, then asks Biden to "lower taxes." Biden doesn't even look the guy's way. He completely ignores him and walks away. Arrogant, rude, brutish and uncalled for behavior. Update: see second video below, in which Real Clear Politics says Biden called the Manager a "smartass."

Arizona Federal Boycott: Stash Brigade Mows Down Private Sector

The U.S. Government is boycotting the State of Arizona, jeopardizing the livelihood and personal safety of the people who are legitimate citizens, in the endless quest to protect those who are not, and doing so in violation of federal law. The Department of Education and, astonishingly, Border Control cancelled conferences, where taxpayers have long paid for bureaucrat's massages and sauna time in Arizona's beautiful desert climate. Our government placed signs just 30 miles out of Phoenix saying the area is rife with armed drug and human smugglers, and announced they will sue the state for attempting to defend their own borders. Obama's stash brigade of unions and government workers are mowing down the private sector. He and Attorney General Eric Holder believe they can break the state and if they can break the back of Arizona's sovereignty in our courts, we have to ask, who is next?

In Venezuela's recent past, the working class fought hard against Hugo Chavez' power grabs, but not hard enough. Chavez took away much of everything it takes to make the private sector work, and vested his heavily fortified government pawns and the riff-raff on the street with "his stash." The Stash Brigade bullied and threatened and voted - maybe more than once, and the Venezuelans outside the government lost everything. It didn't happen overnight, but when it did happen, it moved rapidly.

In the land of the Free and the Home of the Brave, we have our own government pawns - their numbers growing mightily every day. Obama's Stash Brigades are the unions, government employees and everyone needing a pension bailout. Many millions of voters.

Chavez nationalized most heavy industry, with another grab this week, and placed tight regulations on business and finance. He devalued the currency, known as the "strong bolivar," and the people lost half of everything they had in January 2010. Chavez didn't let the private sector crisis go to waste. He used his own now hefty government "stash" to lavish on social programs and raises for bureaucrats - the charter members of the Chavez Stash Brigade.

The masses of government pawns won the battle, and the country is has been led into Marxism, as they passed the marker of Socialism. Another South American dictatorship is rising:
Government negotiations with opposition forces are nonexistent; the judiciary rarely restrains government action; state employees are forced to act as campaign props and vote for the government; electoral authorities disregard the law; and the ruling party is allowed to make use of state resources that are systematically denied to the opposition.
The above quote from Javier Corrles, a contributor to Huffington post, comments on the "chaos" in Venezuela:
Chavismo advances its objectives by enabling chaos. This produces discontent, but it also discourages collective action against the state...the promotion of disorder.
The government does nothing to stop rising crime rates or arbitrary decisions of the bureaucracy. Consequently, ordinary citizens live in fear of random violence, regime opponents live in fear of targeted assaults by state-sanctioned thugs, and business leaders live in fear of attacks by government-sponsored labor groups.
Free speech no longer protects Venezuelans. There are no television channels free to express opinion against Hugo Chavez, after finally shutting down Globalvision. And, grocery stores shelves are empty - as "mountains of rotting food" lies in government warehouses. Read this horrific story at the Conservative Hideout.

When government pawns approved lifting the ban on terms limits in Venezuela, President Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, along with Fidel and Raul Castro congratulated Obama's "stash brigade" is galloping, and private businesses in the U.S. are stagnant as business owners wait to see what taxes and regulations are coming at them next. Anyone thinking the path to Chavez' heavily booted footprint is not in the line of vision of our government, is ignoring a somber reality.
