Jay Leno Fidel Castro: Castro's Communism isn't Working in Cuba Video

This week a journalist reported Fidel Castro told him over a lunch of fish, salad, good bread and good red wine that the "Cuban model doesn't even work for us anymore." The "Cuban model," of course, refers to Communism. Jay Leno didn't let it lie. See the video blow.

Today, we hear that the journalist "misunderstood" what Castro mumbled between dipping and munching. Immediately, the AP characterized the comment as a "joke," even before Castro claimed journalist, Jeffrey Goldberg "misunderstood."

Goldberg invited Julia Sweig to accompany him for lunch with the dictator. Sweig is a "leading Latin American scholar at the Council on Foreign Relations. Dis Sweig misunderstand also? Yesterday, Goldberg posted a rebuttal at The Atlantic. Castro said the following:

Castro said he meant "exactly the opposite" of what was understood by Jeffrey Goldberg, who was interviewing him for The Atlantic...

On Friday, Castro said he was correctly quoted, but that, "in reality, my answer meant exactly the opposite of what both American journalists interpreted regarding the Cuban model. My idea, as the whole world knows, is that the capitalist system no longer works for the United States or the world," he said. "How could such a system work for a socialist country like Cuba?" 

Goldberg's response:

...I think the expression, "The Cuban model doesn't even work for us anymore" means, "The Cuban model doesn't even work for us anymore."

Fidel says that his answer meant "exactly the opposite" of what Julia Sweig and I heard him say. Just as a language experiment, here is what the opposite of his statement would sound like: "The Cuban model works so well for us that we want to export it."

We know one thing for certain, Castro was not joking. He validates his own words and notes nothing jocular about them. But...what about the AFP? They created an excuse for Castro before Castro said anything about Goldberg's report.

DOJ New Website Banner: Janet Reno Eric Holder Both Fond of New Quote

Old Glory has been removed from the Department of Justice (DOJ) website banner and replaced with a black background and white print. A new motto now resides on the webpage - a quote of which its origins are not completely certain, but were greatly admired by former Attorney General Janet Reno in January 2001, something she and Eric Holder apparently have in common. The quote is usually attributed to C. Wilfred Jenks, a Director-General of the U.N.'s International Labor Organization which busies itself with "the promotion of social justice."

The common law is the will of Mankind issuing from the Life of the People

C. Wilfred Jenks, a Brit and a former Director-General of the International Labour Organization from 1970 to 1973, died in 1973. Anonymous DOJ "career lawyers" have differing opinions of the quotations author. C. Wilfred Jenks is known by conservatives for facilitating "a greater role for socialists and communists at the U.N.," and the global "workers rights movement, but no one is completely confident of the author. Some suggest the quote may have been placed on the building under the authority of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Some believe it was adapted from the writings of Sir William Blackstone. The American Spectator has the story:

Most telling: Jenks, as director of the ILO is credited with putting in place the first Soviet senior member of the UN organization, and also with creating an environment that allowed the ILO to give "observer status" to the Palestinian Liberation Organization, and to issue anti-Israeli statements, which precipitated efforts by the U.S. Congress to withdraw U.S. membership from the ILO. The U.S. actually did withdraw in the mid-1970s due to the organization's leftist leanings.

"It was Jenks's efforts that helped make the ILO a tool of the socialist and communist movement," says one of the DOJ lawyers. "We used to joke about how fitting it was that this was Janet Reno's favorite quote to use in speeches, and now the Obama folks think it encapsulates out department's mission."

The quote that now resides on the website is etched into the wall "of the 9th Street gate," of the DOJ, according to Janet Reno:

There is, on the wall of the 9th Street gate, a saying that I have come to rely on again and again. It says, "The common law derives from the will of mankind, issuing from the life of the people, framed by mutual confidence, and sanctioned by the light of reason."

Unless the law issues from all of the people, some of the people will feel left out. They will come to feel alienated. They will be angry. And this will not be a cohesive democracy. If you don't care about that, they will feel left out, alienated, and they will not have the opportunities that others have to skills, to jobs, to opportunity. That will only hurt America.

About Jenks from the International Labour Organization:

He held honorary degrees from many universities throughout the world. He lectured at the British Academy and the Universities of Georgia and Yale and was five times visiting professor at the Hague Academy of International Law. He was one of the international advisers to the American Law Institute on the drafting of its Statement of Essential Human Rights, one of the texts which served as a basis for drafting the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Fidel Castro Obama Will Avoid Nuclear War

Fidel Castro is back at the podium after four years out of the limelight. Brother Raul Castro sat on the sidelines where he will likely be relegated until Fidel's next hospitalization. The chamber of the National Assembly of People's Power adored him, cheered wildly, and sent kisses his way. The "comandante" took the opportunity to tell the people he is certain Barack Obama is man-enough to avoid a nuclear showdown with Iran, and that a nuclear war rests solely on Obama's shoulders.

Since you haven't heard from Fidel for a few years now, let me provide the latest:

`One man alone will have to make the decision: The president of the United States,'' Castro said, because Iran will not bow to U.S. and Israeli demands to halt its nuclear program.

If Obama approves an attack on Iran, he added, he will trigger a war that will spread through the Middle East and Asia and cause ``the instantaneous death of hundreds of millions people, among them an incalculable number of people in his own country.''

The ``established order of the planet ... will inevitably collapse, the reigning social order will disappear abruptly'' and all currencies will be worthless, he added.

Castro noted that ``as luck would have it, ,'' Obama's father was Muslim and his mother was Christian and added he hoped the U.S. president will become conscious of the threat to world peace.

In comparison, he called Richard Nixon a ``cynic,'' branded Ronald Reagan and Harry Truman as ``ignorant'' and called Jimmy Carter ``a decent person.''

How about "The National Assembly of People's Power" in a country where the people have zero power.

Iowa Billboard Controversy: Conservatives Flogging Conservatives

The North Iowa Tea Party is now the albatross of the Tea Party movement.  Conservatives and Republicans need something to feel guilty about. This week it's the Hitler-Obama-Lenin billboard. You can feel the angst about this wayward group - we are not racist, that billboard should not have gone up! I ask why not?

And who among Democrats cared that Muslim Congressman Keith Ellison (D-MI) compared President G. W. Bush to Hitler and said the White House was involved in the 9/11 attacks? There are so many examples of Democrat rallies comparing Bush to Hitler that I'll just refer you to this blog which has many documented photos, links to others and says he/she had a front row seat to these rallies 2003-2008. This particular blog was written in August 2009 and isn't addressing the billboard, but other outcries from Liberals including Nancy Pelosi almost a year ago.

The argument is, just because the Left does it, doesn't make it right for the Right to do it. I agree, but that is not what this billboard did. I see it this way:

The billboard is not racist. It does not compare Barack Obama to Adolph Hitler or Vladimir Lenin, although it would be reasonable to do so now that we've seen the Obama agenda. It highlights three types of socialism and socialists, including Barack Obama, and points out the three are radicals and prey[ed] on the "fearful and naive."

Like, suing Arizonans who are fearful, but no longer naive about their government's failure to protect them from theft, murder, rape, kidnapping and human trafficking, and dirty needles on landowner's property.

Like Philadelphia voters who were threatened at the polls, some not voting because of it - and then slammed by Obama and Holder protecting the New Black Panthers rather than the voter - that protection ranging to simply not prosecuting Blacks who commit voter intimidation and/or fraud because they are Black. It makes me fearful. I fear for my country. It was reported yesterday that the NAACP was working with the DOJ on the dismissal of the Black Panthers case...and they call TEA parties racist!

Like New Yorkers strongly against holding the trial of one of highest-profile Islamic terrorists in the War on Terror in downtown New York. Holder and Obama were determined to do it. Now, the KSM trial just looms. No one knows where it will be. No one wants it in the U.S. If you live in the area of a trial of this magnitude, most might feel some intimidation. Who knows what kind of riff-raff that trial will bring to the neighborhood? Who knows who will prey on the people?

Like forcing all of America to purchased mandated health insurance, except for Congress and Unions, and Obama's new czar over medicaid and medicare, Donald Berwick. He worked his own deal with his own non-profit charity, paid himself $2.3 million, and then bestowed lifetime health care for him and his wife. He's the guy that believes rationing healthcare is "romantic," and he has assured us we will have rationing. But he scams a charity which obviously has significant tax benefits (at least until Obama's tax hikes arrive). I believe many Americans feel intimidated and anxious about their unwanted ObamaCare. I feel fearful about the Court's decision when the constitutionality of the law hits the bench. How could I not?

Just as Hitler and Lenin murdered, Obama is using taxpayer money to fund abortions. One of his first acts as a president was to overturn the Mexico City policy which denied U.S. taxpayer dollars for abortion outside our borders. Instantly you and I were funding abortion. When I think about it...that my money is used for taking the life of the unborn, it chills me. Yesterday we learned that the health care legislation will indeed allow taxpayers to fund abortions inside the U.S. In fact, $160 million is already designated for a Pennsylvania program to put an insurance program in place for abortions. I'm paying for murder.

I feel preyed upon by this predatory president.

We cannot grow our businesses because we know taxes and regulations will be leveled with a brutal hand. We cannot improve our properties, buy a nice car, take that wedding anniversary trip, buy a second home...until we know whats coming next. We think we know a VAT tax is descending. We do know that tax cuts are disappearing. Nothing looks good for our financial futures at this time.

I feel preyed upon by this predatory president.

We believe we are going to be forced to bailout dying liberal rags all over the country. A $10 billion bailout for teachers unions was hidden in a military funding bill, and the administration wants even more for "the teachers union." Today a gigantic financial "reform" bill was passed. The bill will be signed next week, but reform for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the root of the housing meltdown, were nowhere to be found. Jacob Lew, the new czar of Financial Reform said just last year that if the rest of the world didn't adhere to the same reforms, American business' would flee the country. It will be too expensive to stay here, and small business' and small banks will be the hardest hit. The Wall Street Journals says this bill "will hit small business' hard."

WaPo Skews Joe Stack's Manifesto?

Clifton at Another Black Conservative catches WaPo's Jonathan Capehart doing some heavy-handed editing to Joseph Andrew Stack's suicide/rant/manifesto. Surprise, surprise, an omission here, an omission there, and a mad man's words just might make him appear to be a Tea Party enthusiast. And a  an unsuspecting reader might think Stack's politics were in line with Janet Napolitano's "far right wing extremists," like maybe, returning warriors and retired vets.

If you missed the big story of Joseph Andrew Stack flying his small plan into a 7-story office building in Austin, Texas this week, killing himself and one other, wounding many, while attempting to take down the IRS offices there, you can read that story here.

Here's what Jonathan Capehart said:

There's no information yet on whether he was involved in any anti-government groups or whether he was a lone wolf. But after reading his 34-paragraph screed, I am struck by how his alienation is similar to that we're hearing from the extreme elements of the Tea Party movement.

When you sit a a big important news desk, at an elite newspaper like the Washington Post, and you can't make the latest sensational story what you want it to be, what do you do? Well, maybe you leave out the inconvenient parts. That's what JonathanCapehart appears to have done in his reporting on the suicide pilot's last words.

Capehart kind/sorta covers himself by saying "here are excepts I was able to snag before the FBI took Stack's site down," but of course, the complete manifesto is all over the Internet. You can read it here. The text in green text below are quotes from Stack that Capehart omitted.

Stack seemed to be suicidal mainly because of the IRS. Everything led back to taxes. He was distressed that religious organizations get tax breaks not available to the individual taxpayer, and he called the Catholic Church "vulgar" and "corrupt," and he referred to "the monsters of organized religion," making a "mockery of people who earn an honest living." "The inquisition is still alive and well today in this country."

Stack railed about GM receiving government assistance, and Capehart printed that, but Stack's diatribe against health care was curiously omitted...because this is no Tea Party position:

Yet at the same time, the joke we call the American medical system, including the drug and insurance companies, are murdering tens of thousands of people a year and stealing from the corpses and victims they cripple, and this country’s leaders don’t see this as important as bailing out a few of their vile, rich cronies.  Yet, the political “representatives” (thieves, liars, and self-serving scumbags is far more accurate) have endless time to sit around for year after year and debate the state of the “terrible health care problem”.  It’s clear they see no crisis as long as the dead people don’t get in the way of their corporate profits rolling in.

Tea Partiers like their health insurance. They want government to stay the heck away from it until the critical issues can be fixed - like tort reform and buying private insurance in the open marketplace, or across state lines. Tea Partiers want to retain their choices and promote competition among private insurers - never government-directed insurers, and they want the lawsuit scams to stop for the good of physicians, hospitals and patients.

Capehart omits Stack's remarks on patriotism -  the "incredible stupidity of the American public; ...you know, all that "crap about their "freedom...." When was the last time you heard Tea Partiers characterize freedom as "crap?"

Capehart ignores that as an 18-year-old college student, Stack was broke...was living on peanut butter and bread (or Ritz crackers when I could afford to splurge). But most college students are broke, and by the time a student reaches his 50's, chances are it will be a fond memory, not a battlecry. At the time he was living off peanut butter and bread, Stack met an elderly widow, who's husband's pension was raided by management and unions. The widow ate "cat food" to survive! Stack decided at the tender age of 18 he would never trust "big business."

Tea Party afficianados don't hate big business, because they know from big business comes small business, the lifeblood of America, and they would likely wear their "broke" stories as a badge of honor.

Capehart skips over Stack's comments about having a new wife and "a boatload of undocumented income," which led to a newly hired, but dishonest accountant. Over and over, Stack talks about the government stealing from the middle class - but that is not a Tea Party position. Tea Partiers want everyone to pay their fair share and not one penny more - no matter how much you have, or do not have. Everyone should be vested in our country, and no one should be penalized because of what they have, or do not have.

Then Capehart skips over Stack's stark disdain of G.W. Bush:

The recent presidential puppet GW Bush and his cronies in their eight years certainly reinforced for all of us that this criticism rings equally true for all of the government.

And somewhere in this, Stack says "violence not only is the answer, it is the only answer." Again, not a Tea Party position, but it would be a position of CNN and the Huffington Post.

At the end of Stack's rant, he closed with these two quotes, both of which Capehart omitted.

The communist creed: From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.

The capitalist creed: From each according to his gullibility, to each according to his greed.

How can we ignore that the communist creed quoted by Stark sounds noble,  is intended to be a noble statement - but was left out of Capehart's analysis. Why? Because it is decidedly unAmerican, and decidedly unTeaParty-ish.

The capitalist "creed," however, accuses every American of gullibly serving up taxes to the tax masters, without knowing we are doing so, while others greedily feed out of our trough. Among those actually paying taxes, there is no gullibility, and that's why Tea Partiers want smaller government. But one thing you won't find among the general Tea Party population, is the mindset that violence is the only answer, including racking up a body count, his and those around him, or those who loved him, as the only way to make America set up and take notice. Both are a part of Stack's manifesto.

So what do you think? Could Capehart have actually not been able to "snag" enough of Stack's manifesto to point out the obvious, or did he just choose not to?  Visit Another Black Conservative and read his comments on Joseph Capehart's agenda.

Cass Sunstein Conspiracy Theories Ban - Infiltrate, Tax, Spy

President Obama's control-freak, Czarist Cass Sunstein want the U.S. government to ban all "conspiracy theorizing." In a 2008 Harvard law paper, he recommends that government agents infiltrate "extremists" who believe in conspiracy theories.

The paper was written in response to a Harvard law professor, who ask "What can government do about conspiracy theories?" The far-left and dangerous Sunstein also suggested TAXING conspiracy theorists. Read the story at WorldNetDaily.

The above pales beside what we know about Cass Sunstein, Obama's Regulatory Czar, and according to Glenn Beck, "The most dangerous Czar." About a so-called Fairness Doctrine, Sunstein said in an online book, that the government must not reject restricting our freedoms:

...one thing is clear: a system of limitless individual choices with respect to communications is not necessarily in the interest of citizenship and self-government, and efforts to reduce the resulting problems ought not to be rejected in freedom's cause.

The following are snippets from Glenn Beck's radio show conversations:

Cass Sunstein is a guy who is against the Second Amendment, who believes that the purpose of the Second Amendment is not an individual right but a federal right. He says almost all gun control legislation is constitutionally fine and if the Court is right, the fundamentalism does not justify the view.

He believes that the Second Amendment is the biggest ‑‑ I'm looking for the ‑‑ I'm looking for the exact quote ‑‑ is the biggest lie in American history. He also believes that we ought to ban hunting. He believes that animals should have a right, should be able to bring suit because they are not property. You can't own a dog. They should be able to sue you. He says willingness to subject animals to suffering will be seen as a form of barbarity, morally akin to slavery and the mass extermination of human beings.

Sunstein wants to control the Internet, especially discussion groups (conspiracy theorists show their colors in comments and forums):

A legislative effort to regulate broadcasting in the interest of Democratic principles. Wow, that's the words that Chavez always used. Should not be seen as an abridgement of the free speech guarantee. Regulate broadcast in the interest of Democratic principles is not an abridgement of the free speech guarantee. A system of limitless individual choices with respect to communications is not necessarily in the interest of citizenship and self‑government.

On civil liberties courts should ordinarily require restrictions on civil liberties to be authorized by the legislature.

On taxes Sunstein scolds readers like small‑minded selfish children for opposing the size, scope, expansion and skyrocketing expense of the government. Quote:

In what sense in the money in our pockets and bank accounts are fully ours. Did we earn it by our autonomous efforts? Could we have inherited it without the assistance of probate courts? Do we save it without the sport of bank regulators? Could we spend it if there were no public officials to coordinate the efforts and pool the resources of the community in which we live.

Without taxes there is no liberty.

Here is Sunstein's justification for "government intervention:

He also believes that we need a second Bill of Rights. In a nutshell, quoting, the New Deal helped vindicate a simple idea. No one really opposes government intervention. Even the people who most loudly denounce government interference depend on it every single day.

For better or worse, the Constitution's framers gave no thought to including social and economic guarantees in the Bill of Rights.

This will be a gigantic move in the direction of gigantic government because let me explain what he's going to do.

Beck talks about Sunstein's job description:

He doesn't want to change the laws. All he wants to do is just tweak the regulations. So the laws are passed and then he tweaks the regulations.

We've seen this ‑‑ this is what's happening right now in California with the farmers. The animals have to be saved. The smelt, a four‑inch fish, the smelt needs to be saved. Farmers can't use that much water. So they've reduced the water supply to farms by, what is it, 80 or 90%. Well, the farmers ‑‑ this is an area now that has 28 to 40% unemployment. The farmers cannot farm. They don't have enough water. All for the smelt. That is what a regulatory czar does...

The daily outrages are overwhelming. At the time Beck was focusing on Sunstein, we were indeed, outraged. Today he is not such a hot topic, and the Regulatory Czar is still a Regulatory Czar. Let's be reminded that Cass Sunstein is one enormous reason why supporting candidates like conservative Republican Scott Brown in Massachusetts, Marco Rubio's primary race for U.S. Senate, against liberal Republican Charlie Crist in Florida , and conservative Allen West, running for the U.S. House for Florida against incumbent Democrat Ron Kelin. No matter your State, these races are just a few of those matter in a major way, in the possible ouster of communists inhabiting the offices of the White House.

Radical Islam and America's Future

Political Islam, i.e. radical Islam, is actually a cutout for continued communist aggession against the West. This is perhaps the most justifiable explanation for the resurgence of radical Islam in recent years, though it receives scant recognition.

We knew this to be true back in the 1970s and 1980s, when the communist-inspired PLO began its operations against Israel. We knew that Hezbollah and the other Muslim terrorist organizations got their training, weapons and support from Syria - a Ba'athist (Stalinist Arab Communist Party) country. Antonio Gramsci was an Italian marxist who made a plan for the insidious erosion of freedom without overt hostility.

Socialism is precisely the religion that must overwhelm Christianity. … In the new order, Socialism will triumph by first capturing the culture via infiltration of schools, universities, churches and the media by transforming the consciousness of society. ~~ Antonio Gramsci, 1915

Antonio Gramsci was an Italian marxist, who sought to explain exactly why the revolution predicted by Marx had not yet materialized. His conclusion was that the church and the values held by the people were the deterrent. While in prison Gramsci wrote extensively, laying out plans for the overthrow of a capitalistic society. Rather than overtaking the political and economic system by force, his strategy was more subtle and sinister.

The first step, in Gramsci’s view, is to transform the ideology of the people. His means include using education, the media, and setting up separate organizations whose goal is to manipulate the masses into mindsets that are receptive to marxist ideals. Once traditional/Christian mores have been corrupted and the nuclear family destroyed, the citizens of society will be willing to accept the “new ideas” of the progressive leadership without question.

The second prong of Gramsci’s approach is then, using the democratic process itself, to overtake the government by the will of the people. Where Marx called for defiant “revolution” from the bottom up, the revolution of Gramsci is a top-down model whereby leaders with marxist ideology infiltrate the political parties and enforce their will upon the people.

While many conservatives have been discussing Saul Alinsky and the influence he has had on the current administration, I believe Alinsky only lays out some general guidelines for achieving “social justice.” Gramsci’s model is very specific, global, and extremely relevant to our current political climate in the United States.

Some of the policies and tactics of the Obama Administration have seemed indefensible and unexplainable, even by members of the Democratic party. Our answer to the recession is to spend more money? Asking the news networks to disregard Fox News as a “legitimate” news source? Ramming through health care legislation that is opposed by the majority of American citizens?

None of this seems to make sense … until you are introduced to Antonio Gramsci. I’m anxiously devouring the book Shadow World by Robert Chandler. Chandler is a retired veteran who has been a strategist for the Air Force, the White House, the Departments of State, Defense, Energy, and Justice, and the CIA. Chandler’s book is NOT about President Obama, but actually about the subtle takeover by communist thought in America since the 1920s and the progressive plan for our future.

Chandler lays out the history and migration of communists from Russia coming to America early in the 20th century with plans for transforming our society. These very players clung to the pattern laid out by Gramsci, and began to set up well-funded, non-profit entities to further their goals. These are organizations for affecting public policy, infiltrating and overcoming the university classrooms, changing the economy and creating government dependents, for affecting law through lobbying and legal action and a host of other “fronts” for communist activity.

Many of these organizations exist today, long shedding the labels of “marxist” or “communist” thought. Instead, their agenda is cloaked in the idea of “social justice” or “liberation.” The titles of these organizations sound so wonderful: Center for Constitutional Rights, National Lawyers Guild, Fellowship of Reconciliation, or the Center for National Security Studies. But their very existence is due, in part, to the foundation of the Institute for Policy Studies (IPS), which was formed in 1963, and continues to found such leftist organizations.

The Institute for Policy Studies was founded by Samuel Rubin, a dedicated communist, and Phillip Stern (with family members indicted of spying for the Soviets) and is located in Washington, D.C. This think-tank has long beed dedicated to the establishment of a socialist society in America. To further this effort, Rubin and Stern later created the Transnational Institute (TNI) to carry the vision to the world at large. While it is difficult to find a stand-alone Mission Statement for these organizations, such terms as “effective action,” “just security,” “social equity,” and “environmental solutions” to protect the “commons,” are a thinly veiled disguise for promoting their one-world marxist utopia through arms reduction, green justice, worldwide wealth re-distribution and a host of other “effective solutions.”
Shadow World lays out the framework that has been pursued by IPS and TNI, a.k.a. the strategy of Antonio Gramsci:

Ten steps toward an American progressive-socialist-marxist civil society:

1. change the popular consensus by destroying christianity, the traditional family, and existing social mores

2. transform the culture by installing a radical Left mind control

3. attain political power by imposing strict control of the military and law enforcement

4. restrict freedom by socializing the economy

5. erase American sovreignty by embracing a world without borders

6. attain political power by winning democratic elections

7. dominate both Houses of Congress

8. restrict freedom of the press and expression

9. enforce a massive redistribution of wealth from the private and public sector

10. limit freedom of speech, religion, right to bear arms, and state’s rights

Mind you, this book was published in 2008, so there is no way that Chandler could have foreseen the extent to which President Obama’s agenda would so closely follow the Gramsci pattern. When you look at this list, do you not see a representation of the ideology driving the Obama Administration? To what end are we reaching?

Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals is indeed part of Barack Obama’s philosophy. But Rules for Radicals merely gives the day to day solutions for facing conflict on the road to revolution. Antonio Gramsci provides us with the larger picture of transformation — from capitalism to progressive-socialism-marxism. Alinsky shows us how to drive the car, but Gramsci shows us the map of where we have been, where we are and where we are going. God help us, for where we are going.

Please share and recommend this book and information to anyone who will listen. These are historical facts that explain current events in no uncertain terms. We must be aware, we must be vigilant, we must be prayerful for the protection of our freedoms and for the future of the United States of America.

Sizing Up Barack Obama: Who is He, What is He Up To?

How many times have you commented that Barack Obama voters knew nothing about him when they cast their vote at the polls? I've said it often. How well do you verbally size him up? Who is he? What is he up to? Can you put it into words, or explain it to your nephew or your daughter? See photos and a video below.

Remember when Tom Brokaw and Charlie Rose sat down just three days before the November 2008 election and admitted they hadn't a clue who Barack Obama really is. Rose asks about Obama's "world view," and his views on China - both say they know nothing about either. They know nothing about Obama's "universe of thinking." It doesn't get more pathetic than these two S.O.B.'s admitting how they robbed the American people of vital information about Barack Obama. Brokaw says the media must be "vigilant," but they weren't. He said a reporter needed to bring "intellectual vigor" to this election, but they didn't - they didn't dare. You can see the video of that conversation below. When I'm trying to explain what makes Obama tick, I know plenty.

I can talk about his father, his father's philosophy, his father's connections, his father's communism, his father's writings, and the Muslim influence in both of their lives. I can talk about Obama's own admission in his book Dreams From My Father, when he said he tried to take his father's "high blown ideals" as his own. He said he sought his father's attributes in himself. He needed to "prove" himself through political organizing, as did his father.

To discount his distant father's influence, and his ardor for communism is foolish, but that's just what America did. A quote from Obama Sr.:

...there is nothing that can stop the government from taxing 100% of income so long as the people get benefits from the government commensurate with their income which is taxed.

I do not see why the government cannot tax those who have more and syphon some of these revenues into savings which can be utilized in investment for future development.

Obama Sr. believed in the communal ownership of land, and the forced confiscation of privately controlled land. He wanted the nationalization of European and Asian owned enterprises, including hotels...and writing from Kenya for the East Africa Journal, Problems Facing our Socialism, published in July 1965, he wanted these operations handed over to the indigenous black population." He attacked the economic proposals of pro-Western ideals proposed by African leader Tom Mboya. Obama sided with communist-allied leader Oginga Odinga. Then there's the mother who loved Muslim men, who painted with broad, vibrant strokes, the son's father...and seeded those stories in the mind of the boy. There's the mother who left her son behind in Hawaii at a certain age to pursue her own self-interests. I know about Barack Obama's years with with the Gamaliel Foundation and his gloried community organizing in Chicago. This article sums it up succinctly and offers credible links.

So knowing all this and more, I admit that I still find it difficult to put into words who I think Barack Obama is, or what I believe his motives to be, but another blogger has found those words and put them together ingeniously. The entire article wastes not a word. Here are some snippets from The Return of Scipio.

His life has been fully marinated in the world view of those who hate capitalism, call the US the source of much of the world’s evil, believe the Jews to be the main problem of the Middle East, see themselves as most qualified to govern “the people”, equate opposition with heresy and despise traditional religions and values. They are absolute and total creatures of government and could not survive outside of it. Indeed, this is the reason why all of their proposals involve government. The greater the size of government, the more power they have. The fact that liberty is reduced for the citizenry is irrelevant, since the ruing classes will always have the freedom to do what they wish.

Obama and his sorts exist in some bounteous ether where taxes, small cars, high gas prices, reduced incomes and the toil of daily life affect only those who do the actual work of the nation. They award themselves beautiful homes, large and fancy automobiles, excellent food and citizen subsidized foreign travel. Indeed, their entire lives are subsidized by the taxes they impose upon the masses. And with the increase of government—which really is an increase of job prospects of the ruling classes and their families—the numbers of these types will increase, as will the taxes imposed to maintain such sumptuous lifestyles of these rich, famous and powerful.

The grand design of all these teeming intellectuals all over the globe is to create a world system where they and their type sit at all the tables of governance, control all the levers of power and distribute all the world’s wealth. Obama sees himself at the head of this motley throng. It is obvious that these types have no particular loyalty to any particular geographic area. Obama himself has nothing particularly American about him. Search all you like but in him you will find no Jefferson or Madison. He is really a citizen of that transnational body of intellectuals that imagines the entire world as its proper stage and the rest of us as mere bit players in its grandiose drama. The members of this elite regard the entire earth as part of their rightful inheritance and desire a world government composed of themselves.

The above from Prairie Fire - written by William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn Zomblog has copies of a rare Weather Underground newspaper known as Osawatomie. Published in 1975 as William Ayers and Bernardine Dohn were hiding from authorities, and as Zomblog put it:

"transitioning from terrorism..."

to inside work for the revolution...what we now know was a plan to overthrow the government of the United States, tells us what community organizing is all about, and it's all about the Strategy of Manufactured Crisis. If you are beyond weary of hearing about William Ayers' connection to Barack Obama, Zomblog makes THE point, and I'll use it here, because it cannot be said better:

Ayers was not simply protesting "against" the Vietnam War. Firstly, he wasn't against war in principle, he was agitating for the victory of the communist forces in Vietnam. In other words: He wasn't against the war, he was against our side in the war. This is spelled out in great detail in Prairie Fire. Secondly, and more significantly, the Vietnam War was only one of many issues cited by the Weather Undergound as the justifications for their violent acts. As you will see below, in various quotes from Prairie Fire and in their own list of their violent actions (and in additional impartial documentary links), Ayers and the Weather Underground enumerated dozens of different grievances as the rationales for their bombings -- their overarching goal being to inspire a violent mass uprising against the United States government in order to establish a communist "dictatorship of the proletariat," in Ayers' own words.

The plan was to overturn the government by "creativity and AUDACITY." The following from Osawatomie:

[transcript]… the system itself is inhuman, and socialism is a real alternative; the energy crisis is the fault of Rockefeller and the oil companies, not the Arab people; unemployment is caused by capitalism not “illegal aliens” stealing jobs; war in Indochina or the Mideast is part of the problem, not the solution; political and social action can change things.

[transcript of above] Organizers must be intimately aware of every problem and each injustice, and they must show that underneath each particular problem lies another problem, and another and another until you reach the system of imperialism itself. The system is designed to create problems for poor, Third World and working-class people. Organizers need to find small solutions to small problems and great solutions to great problems. Our solutions should be drastic. We need to build a successful struggle, strong organization and a winning revolutionary party. This is a process, which will not emerge full-blown from our minds. It will emerge and change and grow from practice. We know where to begin. It is with all this in mind that we have created OSAWATOMIE, the revolutionary voice of the Weather Underground Organization.

William Ayers is a communist. But don't take my word for it. He said so himself:

[transcript of above] We are a guerrilla organization. We are communist women and men, underground in the United States for more than four years.

[Zomblog] And not some nicey-nice peace-and-love kind of communist. Through his group the Weather Underground, Ayers was planning to "seize power" in a violent communist takeover of the United States:

[transcript of above] We need a revolutionary communist praty in order to lead the struggle, give coherence and direction to the fight, seize power and build the new society.

Manufactured Crisis:

[transcript of above] Our job is to tap the discontent seething in many sectors of the population, to find allies everywhere people are hungry or angry, to mobilize poor and working people against imperialism.

Fox News says a "leaked" report alleges 219 Kenyan officials were culpabable for "inciting post-election violence."

The ethnic strife took one of Africa’s most-developed countries by surprise in January and February of this year, as roving gangs armed with machetes and clubs fought riot police and set fire to churches, homes and businesses.

After the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) candidate, Raila Odinga, lost the Kenyan Presidential election, extreme ethnic violence broke out and thousands were murdered and seriously injured. Odinga has been accused of flaming the fires of the angry mobs, however, this report does not name Raila Odinga as a perpetrator - but 219 of his party were. Odinga, with the help of former U.N. head, Koffi Annan, was subsequently named Prime Minister of Kenya. Barack Obama's relationship with Raila Odinga has been highly criticized. Senator Obama campaigned in Kenya for, and with, Odinga. Odinga and Obama's fathers were close friends and were involved in numerous political adventures. Read the entire article. Update 6-14-10: When this report was first published in 2008, The Evangelical Alliance showed an agreement Raila Odinga signed with the National Muslim Leaders Forum (NMLF). That document is no longer on The Evangelical Alliance website. The agreement would have committed portions of Kenya to Sharia Law. There is confirmation that there was an agreement, but denial that the agreement on the Alliance website was the actual agreement. The question is, if there was an agreement between Raila Odinga and the NMLF why is it not made public?

Barack Obama campaigned with Odinga in 2006. Raila Odinga says he is Obama's cousin. Can Obama be the man this Country wants to be President? Will he turn over American Muslims to Shariah Law? It's not unreasonable to think so. He turned the other way when it was tried in Kenya. Raila Odinga lost the election, but Kofi Annan stepped-in and secured the power-sharing, Prime Minister position for Odinga. EVEN the children were burnt alive. In broad daylight, a crowd of Kenyans set a church filled with hundreds of terrified families on fire and listened to their screams as flames engulfed them. According to witnesses including police and a Red Cross volunteer, those who escaped the Assemblies of God Church in Eldoret, about 300km west of Nairobi, were hunted down with machetes; others hid inside pit latrines. With Mr Kibaki [the President] belonging to Kenya's largest tribe, the Kikuyu, and Mr Odinga to the second-largest, the Luo, the violence has taken on a distinctly ethnic hue...,

Those massacred in the church were mostly Kikuyus. Kenya's other 41 official tribes accuse them of monopolising political power and businesses at the expense of other tribes - accusations stridently taken up by supporters of Mr Odinga.

Barack Obama is well-connected to the top-tier of Kenyan politics - Kenya being the home of his Arab-African Muslim father. In January 2008, Raila Odinga lost his bid for the Presidency of Kenya to encumbent Mwai Kibaki. Raila Odinga is at the least a socialist in the Orange Democrat party, he says he is Barack Obama's cousin, and the most distinguishing mark the would-be-Kenyan-President made, was his agreement with the National Muslim Leaders Forum (NAMLEF), to turn over a specified portion of Kenya to Shariah Law IF he won the election, which he did not. Obama the father, admired Odinga the father, and supported Odinga the father's politics - which were decidedly communist. Obama the son, following in the footsteps of his Dad, Obama the father, campaigned in Kenya, for Raila Odinga in 2006. The ties between Barack's father, Obama Sr. and Raila Odinga's father, Oginga Odinga, are in written form in the East Africa Journal, direct from the words of Obama the father. The following is excerpted from Greg Ransom at PrestoPundit, referencing the connections Obama the son chose to leave out of his own writings about his father:

A bit of research at the library reveals the answers about Barack Obama's father and his father's convictions which Obama withholds from his readers. A first hint comes from authors E. S. Atieno Odhiambo and David William Cohen in their book The Risks of Knowledge (Ohio U. Press, 2004). On page 182 of their book they describe how Barack Obama's father, a Harvard trained economist, attacked the economic proposals of pro-Western 'third way" leader Tom Mboya from the socialist left, siding with communist-allied leader Oginga Odinga, in a paper Barack Obama's father wrote for the East Africa Journal. As Odhiambo and Cohen write, "The debates [over economic policy] pitted .. Mboya against .. The Barack Obama currently running for the Presidency of the United States supported Raila Odinga for the Presidency of his own family's country - Kenya. Yet, Raila Odinga signed documents intended to enslave some citizens of the REPUBLIC of Kenya within Islam, under Shariah Law. Here's how Islam would have worked in Kenya, given the opportunity: The following is a partial transcription of the agreement between Odinga and the National Muslim Leaders. (In a previous post, there was a link to this document at Evangelical Alliance of Kenya website, but this link is no longer available. You can see a screen shot of the agreement in this video:

PURPOSE: To establish a lasting relationship between Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga, hereinafter referred to as The Candidate, and the National Muslim Leaders, herinafter referred to as The Leaders. This MOU [Memorandum of Understanding] states as follows: WHEREAS The Candidate -- who recognizes Islam as the only true religion -- is seeking to become the next President of the Republic of Kenya; WHEREAS The Leaders recognize The Candidate as the only presidential candidate who has the interests of the Kenyan Muslim community at heart;

There are more "WHEREAS' and numerous "The Parties agree..., among which you'll see this:"

(iii) That the Leaders will work hard to ensure that all (or at least the majority) of Kenyan Muslim faithful vote overwhelmingly for The Candidate at the 2007 General Election. (v) That The Candidate, when, InshaAllah, he becomes President of Kenya will: a) ...In addition, while freedom of worship will be upheld at the JIMBO LA PWANI, the Council of Islamic leaders shall be permitted to have an oversight role to monitor activities of ALL other religions and any applications for religious activities and institutions will require their approval. They shall have the right to deny approval to cults and other evil practices. b) Within 6 months re-write the Constitution of Kenya to recognize Shariah as the only true law sanctioned by the Holy Quran for Muslim declared regions. c) With immediate effect dismiss the Commissioner of Police who has allowed himself to be used by heathens and Zionists to oppress the Kenyan Muslim community. d) and e) intentionally skipped f) No Muslim residing in Kenya whether a citizen, visitor or relative of any of the above shall be subjected to any process involving the laws of a foreign country and in particular any Muslim arrested for or suspected of Terrorism or any other International crime shall only be tried within the boarders of Kenya and shall be granted a competent lawyer of his/her choice at the expense of the Government. g) Within 1 year facilitate the establishment of a Shariah court in every Kenyan divisional headquarters. h) Popularize Islam, the only true religion, in the Coast and North Eastern Regions by ordering every primary school in Kenya in the regions to conduct daily Madrassa classes. h) Impose a total ban on open-air gospel crusades by worshippers of the cross in the Coast and North Eastern regions. i), j), k) l), and m) intentionally skipped n) Impose an immediate ban on women's public dressing styles that are considered immoral and offensive to the Muslim faith in the Muslim regions of the Coastal and North Eastern Regions. This ban will apply to Muslims and non-Muslims alike, in these regions and will include all visitors whether domestic or foreign tourists.

It goes on...and then is signed by Abdullahi Abdi (Chairman) and Hon. Eng. Raila Amollo Odinga. All Americans should be taking a very hard look at Senator Obama. His father was Arab, Muslim and Socialist, leaning Communist. Senator Obama has not answered questions about his support for Odinga, or explained his support for Odinga, or acknowledged that Odinga supported Shariah Law in Kenya. Enter Marx, Engels, Lenin and Stalin. Enter, as well, Mao Zedong, Pol Pot, Fidel Castro, Ho Chi Minh, and today’s politically correct mob. What characterizes them, besides their egotism and narcissism, is their false idealism and moral posturing. According to Edmund Burke: “Nothing is more certain, than that our manners, our civilization, and all the good things which are connected with manners and with civilization, have, in this European world of ours, depended for ages upon two principles; and were indeed the result of both combined; I mean the spirit of a gentleman, and the spirit of religion.”

Since Burke’s time, modern intellectuals have overthrown the spirit of a gentleman and the spirit of religion. Every structure, every religious precept, every honored tradition, came under intellectual attack. God and country were targeted. Religion and patriotism were targeted. The main surviving ideals of our day are those of leveling, equalizing and taxing into penury. Envy is the Holy Grail of our intelligentsia, and the annihilation of all values is their ultimate end.

Defining Socialism: Is Barack Obama a Socialist?

This short post is an eye-opener. While we may listen to Obama, read his own words and the words of others about him, read his background and understand his father's communist-socialist beliefs and teachings, we still shy away from facing the possibility that Barack Obama is more Socialist than he is Democrat. That is the question that John McCain was asked and he said he doesn't know but he points out that Obama's voting record is to the left of a self admitted socialist, who is the Independent Senator of Vermont, Bernie Sanders.

In an interview after the event, The Kansas City Star asked him to clarify the remark. “His voting record … is more to the left than the announced socialist in the United States Senate, Bernie Sanders of Vermont,” McCain answered, according the paper. Asked if he thought Obama was a socialist, McCain answered: “I don’t know. All I know is his voting record, and that’s what people usually judge their elected representatives by.”

McCain was right not answer the question directly and to refer people to Sanders' and Obama's voting records, let people compare the two for themselves and decide which candidate is more of a socialist. Here is the meaning of socialism from the dictionary:

1. a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole. 2. procedure or practice in accordance with this theory. 3. (in Marxist theory) the stage following capitalism in the transition of a society to communism, characterized by the imperfect implementation of collectivist principles.

So, here is Obamas' voting record and here is Sander's voting record. There you go, everything you need to be able to make that judgment for yourself.

The same amount of time required to place radical wahabbist clerics in our military and prisons as 'chaplains'? Find a candidate who can get away with lying about their father being a ''freedom fighter'' when he was actually part of the most corrupt and violent government in Kenya's history. Find a candidate with close ties to The Nation of Islam and the violent Muslim overthrow in Africa, a candidate who is educated among white infidel Americans but hides his bitterness and anger behind a superficial toothy smile. Find a candidate who changes his American name of Barry to the Muslim name of Barack Hussein Obama, and dares anyone to question his true ties under the banner of ''racism.'' Nurture this candidate in an atmosphere of anti-white American teaching and surround him with Islamic teachers. Provide him with a bitter, racist, anti-white, anti-American wife, and supply him with Muslim Middle East connections and Islamic monies. Allow him to be clever enough to get away with his anti-white rhetoric and proclaim he will give $834 billion taxpayer dollars to the Muslim controlled United Nations for use in Africa. Where is the bloodhound American ''free press'' who doggedly overturned every stone in the Watergate case? Where are our nation's reporters that have placed every presidential candidate under the microscope of detailed scrutiny; the same press who pursue Bush's ''Skull and Bones'' club or ran other candidates off with persistent detective and research work? Why haven't ''newsmen'' pursued the 65 blatant lies told by this candidate during the Presidential primaries? Where are the stories about this candidate's cousin and the Muslim butchery in Africa? Since when did our national press corps become weak, timid, and silent? Why haven't they regaled us with the long list of socialists and communists who have surrounded this "out of nowhere" Democrat candidate or the fact that his church re-printed the Hamas Manifesto in their bulletin, and that his "close pastor friend and mentor" met with Middle East terrorist Muammar Qaddafi, (Guide of the First of September Great Revolution of the Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya)? Why isn't the American press telling us this candidate is supported by every Muslim organization in the world?
