Al Gore Video on Saddam Hussein's Terrorism

Listen as Al Gore campaigns against a weak-on-terrorism George H.W. Bush presidency. Referring to Saddam Hussein's human rights offenses, his acts of terrorism, and affiliations with terrorists, as "the murderous ambitions of a despot," Gore campaigned on the lack of action taken by the administration which was to precede his. Gore acknowledged that Saddam Hussein was a ruthless and brutal dictator, that Iraq was a "nation with a record of terrorism," and that the CIA, the Defense Department, the State Department, the Justice Department, the Energy Department, the Commerce Department and "other agencies throughout the government" notified Bush 41's people that Iraq was "clandestinely procuring nuclear weapons technology through a global network of front companies." Comes January 1993...four months after the speech in this video; Clinton and Gore are sworn-in to our highest offices, with confirmed knowledge that you and I could not know...then in February 1993, one month after the Clinton-Gore inauguration, the 1st World Trade Tower bombing occurred, June 1996 the Khobar Towers were bombed, October 2000 the USS Cole was bombed. What did the Clinton-Gore team do in the ensuing 8 years to protect us from Saddam Hussein and his terrorism ties? Nothing. That's the answer. Nothing!
