Russ Carnahan's Office Firebombed by Employee - Blamed on Tea Parties

Democrat Congressman Russ Carnahan's (MO) office was firebombed on August 17th in the wee hours of the morning. An arrest was made almost immediately. The Looney-Left quickly blamed Tea partiers,...then the "suspect" was released and the Carnahan office clammed-up. Reportedly, the perpetrator is Chris Powers, a "progressive activist" working for Carnahan.

Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit has the story of Chris Powers, the "disgruntled" Lefty who didn't "get paid" for canvassing for Carnahan. According to Hoft, Powers is a TMP blogger under the name Ripper McCord.

 Dana Loesch blasts the rush to judgement and asks if Carnahan's office knew the perpetrator but kept quiet about it.

Police aren't releasing the man's name until charges are officially filed. No motive was given for the attack, though one could suspect that the perpetrator is not a fan of the congressman. Given what we know of him -- 50, white, angry -- he certainly fits the demographics of a Tea Party member.

Harry Reid Missouri Voters Lack Healthcare Understanding

Missouri's Prop C measure to block the government mandate to purchase health care passed by a 71-29 margin. Missouri refuses to be told what to buy and what they cannot buy. Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) believes Missourians only need to know more about the health care legislation to "like" it.

“It’s very obvious that people have a lack of understanding of our health care reform bill,” Reid said. “The more people learn about this bill, the more they like it.” He noted that the health insurance “exchanges,” or marketplaces, will take three years to kick in...

 "The trend is turning all over america today," Reid said. "Once you explain what's in the bill, the American people of course like it."

Note to Democrats: Remember November? Just keep calling us ignorant. We're going to slap the shizey out of you in November.

DOJ Consulted NAACP on Black Panther Case: Direct Ties NAACP DOJ Black Panther Case

The DOJ Black Panther whistleblower, J. Christian Adams, was prompted to answer a critical question by the U.S. Civil Rights Commission. The Commission General Counsel David Blackwood directly asked Adams if the DOJ was consulting with the NAACP on the dismissal of the Black Panther voter intimidation case. See a video below with the Memphis TEA party's Mark Skoda, saying the movement has asked the NAACP for videos or other proof showing racism, and offered to provide requested info to the NAACP. The NAACP ignored the request.

This is particularly pertinent because the NAACP has just voted on a "resolution" saying the TEA party movement is "racist." Once that news was out, brought to light because of Michelle Obama's keynote speech at the NAACP, the St. Louis, Missouri TEA party released their own, detailed resolution condemning the NAACP for their ironic racism.

Adams answered that his information was secondhand, and that he was told the NAACP was at the DOJ in March of 2009 asking when the case against the militants would be dismissed. Adams characterized this as "interesting," because there had never been any discussion of dismissing the case he was lead attorney on.

It was first reported here at the Washington Times that "Kristen Clarke, director of political participation at the NAACP Legal Defense Fund in Washington, however, confirmed to The Times that she talked about the case with lawyers at the Justice Department and shared copies of the complaint with several persons. She said, however, her organization was 'not involved in the decision to dismiss the civil complaint.'"

Ms. Clarke testified to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights a few months back that that account was wrong. But J. Christian Adams, the main lawyer who built the case against the Black Panthers, contradicted her when he testified to the commission on July 6.

The NAACP is one of the most racist organizations to meet on this planet, ranking second to the current U.S. Department of Justice. In the video below you'll hear Mark Skoda, the Memphis TEA party founder and Hilary Shelton, the Washington  Bureau NAACP director, decide they will meet and try to work things out. Note that Shelton confined the charges of TEA Party racism to "fringe elements" of the movement. Undoubtedly, they are backpedalling. They have no proof, and especially in the face of Skoda saying they have asked for NAACP videos showing TEA Party racism and received nothing.

St. Louis Tea Party NAACP: Tea Party Resolution Condemns NAACP Racism

The St. Louis TEA Party has passed a resolution condemning NAACP racism. Yesterday I reported that the NAACP was passing a resolution stating the extreme racism of the TEA Party movement. Michelle Obama delivered the keynote address at that occasion for the racist organization. Don't tell me she did not know the agenda for the 101st Annual meeting of the NAACP.

Whereas, the National Coalition for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) was founded to advance the position of minority groups, and 

Whereas a hallmark of the NAACP has been to do the important work of identifying and exposing remaining vestiges of racism and discrimination, and 

Whereas the NAACP vocally stands against the discriminatory and harmful practice of labeling people with a broad brush, and 

Whereas the NAACP decided to launch their 101st National Convention with a resolution condemning the Tea Party movement and labeling millions of their fellow Americans who subscribe to the movement as “racists”, and 

Whereas the “Tea Party movement” is a label applied to patriotic Americans who have expressed their political free speech in the grand tradition of all that is American, that being the spirited expression of viewpoints in a 100% peaceful manner, and 

Whereas, it is a hallmark of America that we settle our disputes civilly and avoid the gutter tactic of attempting to silence opponents by inflammatory name-calling, and 

Whereas the very term “racist” has diminished meaning due to its overuse by political partisans including members of the NAACP, and 

Whereas, the NAACP had an opportunity to preserve some semblance of legitimacy by standing up for Ken Gladney, the victim of a vicious racist battery conducted by a black avowed communist, even labeling him an “Uncle Tom”, but chose instead to use the opportunity to mock the St. Louis Tea Party, and 

Whereas, the NAACP has refused to denounce the New Black Panther’s call to murder white cops and their babies, and 

Whereas, the NAACP does its entire membership a grave disservice by hypocritically engaging in the very conduct it purports to oppose, 

Now therefore be it resolved that the St. Louis Tea Party condemns the NAACP for lowering itself to the dishonorable position of a partisan political attack dog organization, and,

Be it further resolved that the St. Louis Tea Party calls on similar organizations to join in unanimous condemnation of this despicable behavior, and 

Be it further resolved that we demand that the NAACP withdrawal their bigoted, false and inflammatory resolution against the tea party for any further consideration, and

Be it further resolved that these organizations call on the Internal Revenue Service to evenly apply their standards and consider the tax-exempt status of the NAACP considering the degree to which they are engaging in habitual partisan political behavior. 

Adopted unanimously, this day, July 12th, in the year of our Lord, 2010.

Kansas City Court House Evacuated: Suspicious Pkg and Note at KC Court House

FOXNews breaking: The Kansas City court house has been evacuated due to a suspicious package, described as a soft-sided cooler, left at a garage door on the building's east side:

From the KansasCityStar:

It had a note attached saying the contents of the cooler would explode, police said. The police bomb robot was expected to evaluate the package before police determine what to do.

Don Ledford, a spokesman for the U.S. Attorney’s office, said workers in the building were instructed to evacuate and go home about 9:30 a.m.

Phil Hare US Constitution: Adam Sharp - St Louis Tea Party Grills Hare who Doesn't Worry about the Constitution Video

Rep. Phil Hare (D-IL) crossed paths with Adam Sharp from the St. Louis Tea Party. It was not Hare's lucky day. It was not Hare's best day. The Congressman made the mistake of saying when it comes to health care, he "doesn't worry about the Constitution." See two videos below.

Over and over Hare is asked "Where in the Constitution does it give you the authority to... [pass health care mandates].

Adam Sharp with the St. Louis Tea Party grilled Hare, who claimed he read the complete health care bill three times. Unfortunate for him, because Sharp (or perhaps someone with him) knew exactly how long it takes to read the monstrosity - 8100 pages at 1 minute per page, multiplied by 3 comes out to 405 hours spent on reading the bill by Hare. Hare asks if he is calling him a liar, and Sharp or whomever, says "I am."

The first video is a snippet of the "I don't care about the Constitution." The second video begins at the same venue in a townhall setting. Up front he tells the audience some people want him to kill the bill, and he says" that's not going to happen." THEN a young woman in the audience asks "where in the constitution does it say you can make me buy health care?" His answer is pathetic, and it certainly does not address the constitutionality of the law. Finally, he tries to tell the audience he "hears them." "Anyone can take the easy way out," he says. Someone says: "you did." The crowd reminds him that his constitutents did not want the bill. This crowd doesn't let him get away with that rhetoric. They also remind him that the government has no money. His answer is "Well...."

Then a man asks: "When in the hell are you people in Congress going to start acting like Americans - instead of traitors and communist pimps...."

He is pushed even more to tell them how the Constitution allows for the health care mandate. Hare's answer:  I believe in life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Sharp (I believe it is Adam Sharp speaking) says, "so, my pursuit of happiness is being forced to buy your product? Some woman is telling Sharp to "shut up."

The young woman who first asked the question about where the Constitution allows the mandates, has a quiet chat with Hare about abortion. Hare says he is Catholic, and he believes abortion is a mortal sin...but as a legislator he has a different job to do."

Kansas City Closes 29 of 61 Schools: Massive Waste Brings KC Schools to an End

The Kansas City, Missouri school system received $2 BILLION dollars to desegregate (integrate) their inner-city schools. They did everything but integrate and teach, and now 29 of 61 schools are approved for closure. One school built an Olympic sized swimming pool, another a recording studio, yet another a "high-profile" fencing program.

How pitiful is this? The superintendent and administration should be behind bars:

The district went on a buying spree that included a six-lane indoor track and a moct court complete with a judge's chamber and jury deliberation room. But student achievement remained low....

Two billion dollars wasted to integrate these inner city schools. Think of the math and science skills that could have been taught for $2 Billion.

President Obama is speaking at his 3,588th health care rally in St. Charles (St. Louis) today. THE PUBLIC BANNED FROM ATTENDING! Protest events in the area all day...a morning rally had 2,225 pack a convention center ballroom.

At the morning rally, where some 2000+ people packed into a convention ballroom in St. Charles (see photo above) with Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder and U.S. Rep. Todd Akin and other members of the Missouri legislature to protest a government take over of health care, a local radio host acting as moderator, asked the crowd if any Democrats were present. One man stood up. Note - Democrats were not banned.

Evening Protests
The St. Louis Tea Party Coalition and many other groups will be at the Renaissance Grand Hotel at 800 Washington Ave.  We’ll be there, beginning at 5:00 p.m., to disabuse the President, the Carnie family of hoodlums and crooks, and Senator Claire McCaskill of any notion that they might have that we want their brand of socialized medicine. Missouri blogger Bungalow Bill makes these points:

There are two developments that need to be pointed out today during Obama's visit to the St. Louis area. The first is more than three times the amount of people who showed up for Obama's healthcare pep rally have shown up in opposition at the St. Charles tea party event opposing the healthcare plan. This is a consistent ratio that is noted in many polls today as well.

It is also important to note that Obama has come to St. Louis to raise money for Claire McCaskill, one of his most loyal Senators who often looks like a lovesick puppy dog when she is near Obama. Wait a minute!  (read more about who is raising money for what and why - and who is left out in the cold, at Bungalow Bill's)

The RiverFrontTimes says there are two events today.

Later today everyone heads to downtown St. Louis where Obama is hosting a dinner fundraiser at the Renaissance Grand for Senator Claire McCaskill. The Tea Party plans a protest outside the hotel.

This photo of a billboard, supposedly somewhere in Missouri, is making it's way around the Internet. See video below?

More interesting than the billboard are comments on Leftist sites. One mentions our "phony bible," and a statement about the Weather Underground actually having values. One commenter asked if "threatening" the US Government is actually "acceptable" in advertising. Another says it is "conservative economic philosophy" that "deliberately" causes huge deficits to force a cut in social programs. Yet another completely delusional commenter cautions "morons and rednecks" that our Military is sworn to protect the Constitution from all enemies, even domestic enemies, and "hint...hint" the Military will not side with the "morons and rednecks."

Missouri Governors Office: Breaking Hostage Crisis? Maybe Gunshots?

FOX New has just reported a breaking story in Jefferson City, Missouri where an alleged hostage crisis is believe to be underway at or near the office of Missouri Governor, Jay Nixon. Maybe gunshots. No other info at this time.  A Caution - this was a very short report from Harris Faulkner at Fox. You know how these things go. It could be nothing. It could be something. Updates when available. Update 11:23 a.m. CDT
Harris Faulkner says she is speaking to someone on the second floor of the building where a possible hostage crisis is underway. She now says there have been no gunshots. The first floor of the building has been evacuated. No Missouri official has announced a hostage situation, at this time.

The AP reports that police have surrounded a Jefferson City office building NEAR the Governor's Mansion. Employees are remain in the building with their doors locked. There is no known threat to Governor Jay Nixon. The Missouri Public Service Commission offices are in the building.

The name of the building surrounded by police today is The Governor Office Building, but it is not the Governor Nixon's office. In the new video below, time-stamped about 2 hours ago, the Lieutenant Governor says this building is located across the street from the Governor's Mansion



This report from Columbia Tribune about 1 hr. ago says a woman inside the building called the alarm company and reported a hostage situation. The report also says the woman making the call is being questioned by police.

James Winfrey is Rosa Parks Arrested Sign Grabber: Maxine Johnson has Rosa Parks Sign

James Winfrey is the Rosa Parks arrested sign grabber. Maxine Johnson had the Rosa Parks sign. Mr. Winfrey, wearing a blue t-shirt with the word "volunteer" on the back, took a sign from the seat in front of the woman, Maxine Johnson, who is said to be a serial St. Louis Liberal activist. The forum took place at Jefferson College in Lebanon, MO and the College has a policy of "no signs." See the best video available of Maxine Johnson below.

If the video is playing automatically, I apologize. I do not know how to turn it off until ready for viewing. In the video, you'll see three woman parade down the aisle with a sign picturing Rosa Parks plastered against their mid-sections. The meeting is already underway - McCaskill is already talking. The woman walk as though they are bridesmaids making their way to the alter. The crowd begins yelling "no signs, no signs." McCaskill must stop her presentation. Mr. Winfrey is standing just across the aisle from the woman with the sign, in his "Volunteer." He crosses the aisle, grabs the paper, crumples it and throws it on the ground as he walks back to where he was standing. The woman comes after him and others come after them both. Mr. Winfrey is arrested and she is escorted from the room. The controversy was on

did their usual crack reporting and got it all wrong. In an interview with CNN's Kirin Chetry, Maxine Johnson said this:

...the security guard said have your purse checked. We had the posters opened in front of our bodies and they were to pass at two other security officers. They checked our purses, and they saw the posters open wide on our bodies and they told us going into the gymnasium. You walk down the middle aisle and sit down on the floor, and then all of a sudden the crowd start saying hey put up your signs, put up your posters, put up your signs. And I was just curious because I knew it was a Rosa Parks sign, the highway we just got off of was called Rosa Parks, and I couldn't understand the connection between the Rosa Parks sign and the hearing. It was no relation. And finally, I just told the senator yes, ma'am, senator, we will comply and I sat down in my seat, rolled the sign up, and a reporter asked to take a picture and the gentleman to my right in the bleachers suddenly leaped from the bleachers, ran to me.

Sometimes, when you want to believe you are in the middle of fracas, your mind works quickly, as did Ms. Johnson's daughter:

And it happened so quickly my daughter said he twist my arm, pushed me on to her, snatched the sign out of my hand and as he walked away I realized that he crumbling up my sign. And before I knew it, I leaped out of my seat to go retrieve my sign. And I snatched it from him and said don't you take my sign. And before I knew it, I had four or five officers on me and one on him.

The video clearly shows that Winfrey didn't touch her, let alone twist her arm or push her anywhere. When it is played back in slow motion, you can can see Winfrey's left hand on the chair in front of Johnson and he grabs the sign on the seat of that chair with his right hand. Once you see the video, it's clear that it was probably one of the two women with her that abused her arm.

Later in the conversation, Johnson said she was able to go to the emergency room to get her arm checked out (presumable the one that Winfrey "twisted,"). She was very proud of the fact that she has good health care and she wants it for everyone, and that's why she was at this forum. Chetry didn't have the guts to ask Johnson why she believes ObamaCare will provide insurance equal to what she has today. You'll see the difference in her story and the video below. Chetry asks Johnson why she said there was a "racial element" to the incident:

Well, they looked at me and said can't you read? Can't you read? As we looked around the room, there were several people in the room that had other signs. There was a person that had a sign that says "Ni**er, Obama." Obama's like Hitler. And you know, my point is, there were signs that were not allowed, why did the officers allow this in the room? And then we complied and there were other people with signs, they were not black.

There was about 3,000 people, about 30 African Americans and then I asked another and I said, what was the problem it was Rosa Parks, a historical figure. Why was it such a threat? A woman says it wasn't Rosa Parks. You were the threat, you are a black woman. (INAUDIBLE) the people who took our report, they say, ma'am, we cannot guarantee your protection. You must leave this town. We cannot protect you. You don't know these people. They're nasty. It was clearly racial.

There was some more conversation from Johnson, something like: "McCaskill, she's not black. She doesn't know the struggle that black[s] have to... (and the rest was inaudible). I did find a video (not posted here) of three others in the crowd holding yellow "Don't tread on me" flags. The flags were held by each corner. They looked to be the size of a piece of notebook paper. I think one man was telling a police officer that the flag said the same thing the logo on his shirt said.

There are numerous wide shots of the crowd and there are no sign of signs anywhere else in the audience, let alone signs with the "N-word." In the video, you'll hear Johnson saying "there were no Blacks or African Americans in the crowd. You see at least about 8 Blacks in the video. McCaskill apologizes for "two people" getting involved who should not have.

A question for McCaskill: could Mr. Winfrey been charged with seeing to it that no signs were visible - after all he was a volunteer, apparently for Jefferson College because McCaskill said he was not on their team. This video is from ConservativeTVOnline. I plan to go back often.

Please take a few minutes to watch this video - stick with it to the end because there is plenty of misinformation that this video debunks. This real reporting - the kind that CNN doesn't have a clue about.
