Pete Stark Bill to Tax Currency: Stark Bill Mimics UN Millennium Development Goal

Democrat Congressman Rep. Pete Stark (D-CA) introduced a tax on currency trading yesterday. This is right out of the U.N. Millennium Development Goal 2000 (UNMDG), but the U.N. calls it "a currency transfer tax." My title says Stark's bill mimics the UNMDG, but maybe it is the UNMDG. Rep. Stark is the man who recently caused an uproar at his townhall by asking a MinuteMan "who ya gonna kill today." See a video below.

President Obama's Senate Bill, the Global Poverty Act SB 2433 ties us to the UNMDG. It dithers somewhere between the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and 2008 Senate calendar. It awaits the right time to strike, and it "requires" the president, whomever that may be, to "develop" and "implement" the achievement of the UNMDG.

Here's the language in the U.N. Millennium Development Goal (UNMDG):

To introduce binding codes of conduct for transnational companies and effective tax regulation on the international financial markets, investing this money in programmes for poverty eradication.

As you read Pete Stark's statement, remember that the health care legislation requires coin and bullion dealers to report to the IRS every sale over $600.00 beginning January 2010. It is in the health care bill!  They are following the money.

Here is Stark's statement:

Today, I introduced H.R. 5783, the Investing in Our Future Act. My legislation would simply impose a small tax — of 0.005 percent — on these currency transactions. The money raised would be put toward investments in children, global health and climate change mitigation.

For the average person or business, this small tax will hardly be noticed. But, due to the extreme speculation that takes place, it would raise significant funds. Studies estimate a worldwide 0.005 percent tax on dollar transactions would raise $28 billion a year and reduce currency speculation by 14 percent.

Here at home, the funds from this fee would be used to improve the quality and affordability of child care. This funding would provide more child care options, so working families can obtain the quality care their children need to begin school ready to learn.

Internationally, the bill would create a U.S. fund to assist developing countries with the impacts of global warming. At the United Nations Climate Change Conference in December, President Obama pledged to fund our country's commitment to mitigating the effects of climate change. This bill would make that promise real.

Finally, the legislation would create a Global Health Trust Fund to fight HIV/AIDS, Malaria, Tuberculosis and other diseases that kill millions of people each year in developing nations. This money will fund treatments and prevention for these diseases, as well as research aimed at eradicating them altogether.

Notice that Stark says his bill will fund Obama's "pledge" to the U.N.

The U.N. Millennium Development Goal is astonishingly evil.  It will set migration policies and calls for "freedom of circulation for all," or Open Borders. The Global Financial Architecture will be revamped and use alternative time-based currency, rather than "real" money.

Sets up a global habitat conservation fund with a "royalty" (tax) on fossil energy production of oil, natural gas and coal. There will be a tax on the rental value of land and natural resources. A goal of democratic political control of the global economy. The world's workers are to be respected and that will happen by regulating transnational corporations.

The plan is to control  and monitor arms with an arms registry.There will be a worldwide freeze on armed forces and a 25% cut in production and export of major weapons and small arms - with a "build-down of conventional forces.

Back to H.R. 5783, at this time there are no co-sponsors. The Huffington Post is asking readers to call their congressmen and ask them sponsor this legislation.

Gores Global Governance: Gore Touts UNs Global Governance

Former Vice-President Al Gore is touting the United Nation's (U.N.) plan to administer global warming and climate change through "global governance." Make no doubt about it, it will be the U.N. and a few power-mongers who will administer that governance, as well as global social justice on you and me.

Speaking at the Oxford School World Forum on Enterprise and the Environment on July 7th, Gore said the Waxman-Markey climate bill, recently passed in the U.S. House of Representatives, is a "step in the right direction," toward that governance.

But it is the awareness itself that will drive the change and one of the ways it will drive the change is through global governance and global agreements.

Recent U.N. global warming conferences have also called for a global carbon tax.

...the UN climate conference in Bali, urged the adoption of a global carbon tax that would represent “a global burden sharing system, fair, with solidarity, and legally binding to all nations. Schwank noted that wealthy nations like the U.S. would bear the biggest burden based on the “polluters pay principle.” The U.S. and other wealthy nations need to “contribute significantly more to this global fund,” Schwank explained. He also added, “It is very essential to tax coal.

Hitting on my last nerve in this article is the "redistribution of wealth," which is just what global governance is all about. Did you know that a species called the a Climate Justice Campaigner actually exists?

A climate change response must have at its heart a redistribution of wealth and resources,” said Emma Brindal, a climate justice campaigner coordinator for Friends of the Earth.

Barack Obama's none-too-subtle globalist tendencies, and the U.N.'s enraptured enchantment with Islam will fit each other like a silken glove. General Assembly Ignored Sudan, But Condemned Israel 22 Times

The countless anti-Israel resolutions and related debates consume an astonishing proportion of the UN community's precious resources. This year, during the 61th Session of the General Assembly (2006-2007), the time spent by ambassadors on enacting the 22nd anti-Israel resolution of the year was time not spent on passing a single resolution on Sudan's genocide in Darfur.

 Nobody is happier about the election of Barack Obama to the Presidency of the United States than the folks at the United Nations. It is as if they finally discovered kryptonite, and Superman will soon be disabled.


 The U.N. is an uncomplicated place. Every sick, unsatiated tyrant, European has-been, or miserable wretch brainwashed about the Great Satan wants to take America down – unless they are able to immigrate of course. Their modus operandi? The United Nations.


The beauty of it, from the perspective of the majority, is that Americans are paying for their own demise. Americans are even convinced that the flagellation must be deserved. President Obama will take over from where what might be called “Bush III” left off. The foreign policy of Bush II was so different than that of the man currently in office, it’s hard to ascribe them to the same human being.


 Even die-hard U.N. enthusiasts admit they were pleased with many aspects of the American-UN relationship over the last few years, particularly after Bush III fed Bush II’s U.N. ambassador John Bolton to the wolves.


Ongoing genocide in Darfur was shuffled off to the ponderous International Criminal Court. The Israel-Lebanon war was “solved” with a Security Council resolution. The U.N. reform package, and any serious effort at economic oversight after Kofi Annan’s Oil-for-food scandal, was tossed out the window. The green light was given to a multi-billion dollar renovation of U.N. headquarters in midtown Manhattan, notwithstanding advice that it could have done for a fraction of the cost.


Efforts to tie reform or accountability to American U.N. contributions were abandoned, and five billion a year flows smoothly from American taxpayers to U.N. bank accounts. On November 13, 2008, Bush III will chum around with Saudi mobster King Abdullah at U.N. premises in New York. The occasion is a Saudi-initiated event on “a culture of peace” which a U.N. spokesperson describes as “religious dialogue, plus.” The spectacle completes the Bush III metamorphosis.


Think back to the image of Christian American soldiers stationed in Saudi Arabia in order to protect the country from Saddam Hussein, but forced to hide the crosses around their necks because their public display is a criminal act in the Kingdom? Bush III notwithstanding, President Obama will have what his friends will call an unprecedented opportunity to tie American foreign policy to the U.N. ship of state, lance it down, and sail off into the sunset, never to be separated again. The predicament of the Saudi wife would be an apt comparison.


 The U.N. apparatus has mapped out the priorities for President Obama’s early days in office (taking it for granted he’ll be hightailing it out of Iraq), and the only question is how fast President Obama will say:
 “I do.” Here’s the plan now sitting on the President-elect’s desk: Run for election to the U.N. Human Rights Council as a vote of confidence in the U.N. “human rights” apparatus and the ability to change it from the inside. (Forget that the U.S. would have one vote, that the Western regional group of states is overwhelmingly outnumbered, and that reform of an agency serving the human rights abusers is the last:


 thing of interest to the abusers firmly in control.) Decide to participate in the Durban II “anti-racism” conference in April 2009, and send along a high-level emissary such as the Secretary of State. It would be hard to run for re-election to the Human Rights Council without attending the Council’s number-one priority, which is scheduled to take place shortly before the election. (Ignore that Durban II is a unredeemable and dangerous fraud. It adopts an anti-racism mantra to foment racism, the demonization:


 of Israel and the defeat of free speech.) Revitalize the Middle East Quartet, which drives the Arab-Israeli conflict through a multilateral prism with the U.N. as a full and equal partner. (Dismiss the fact that the U.N. partner always weighs in on just one side of the conflict, adopting the predetermined:


 position that Israel is the “root” of the problem and any Arab “peace” proposal is the solution.) Put Israel on the chopping block. “Israel first” has long been the calling card of the UN. The U.N. governing principle is this: “if only Israel did x, y, and z,” (the list to be expanded in response to successive Arab no’s), animus against the West would cease, terrorism would stop, the messiah would appear, and there would be no more war. (This might be called the “ass-backwards approach to Middle East politics,” since Israel is actually on the front line of the war against democracy and America’s way of life, not:


 bringing up the rear. Serving up an Israeli hors d’oeuvre is just that – first course.) Drive the effort to stop terrorism through the 2006 United Nations Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy. (The strategy contains no definition of terrorism since U.N. members can’t agree on what counts as terrorism. It inverts priorities by focusing first and foremost on alleged “conditions conducive to the spread of terrorism,” such as “poverty” and “youth unemployment” “religious discrimination” and “socio-economic marginalization.” Plain old Jew-hatred or enmity of freedom and equality are mysteriously absent from:


 the list of causes.) Agree to some form of global taxation, giving rise to an even more powerful, wealthy, and undemocratic U.N. fiefdom (and a poorer America). All that remains is for President Obama to put a date beside each one of the items on the U.N.’s first “to do” list. And down we’ll go.

Defeat Obama's U.N. Global Poverty Act

An Obama presidency is already moving America to a rose-colored glasses relationship with the U.N. Hear no evil at the U.N., see no evil at the U.N., speak no evil of the U.N. - even though there is plenty of it. Move us right along to the One World Order. Here's how it happens: Barack Obama's Global Poverty Bill (s.2433) will likely be pushed forward in the Senate. This Bill commits the U.S. to millions in new spending, and worse than the money...requires the achievement of the U.N. Millennium Goals. Investor's Business Daily put it this way:

By adopting the Millennium goals in 2000, the U.N. escalated its demands to impose international taxes. Specifically, the Millennium called for a "currency transfer tax," a "tax on the rental value of land and natural resources," a "royalty on worldwide fossil energy projection — oil, natural gas, coal," "fees for the commercial use of the oceans, fees for airplane use of the skies, fees for use of the electromagnetic spectrum, fees on foreign exchange transactions, and a tax on the carbon content of fuels."

It doesn't bother U.N. sycophants that most U.S. handouts go into the hands of corrupt dictators who hate us and vote against us in the U.N., and that only 30% of our foreign aid ever reaches the poor. U.N. bureaucrats accuse the U.S. of being "stingy" in its handouts to underdeveloped countries. There is much more to the Millennium goals than merely extorting more money from U.S. taxpayers. The goals set forth a comprehensive plan to put the United States under U.N. global governance. Losing Sovereignty [meaning the United States of America] - These goals include a "standing peace force" (i.e. a U.N. standing army), a "U.N. Arms register" of all small arms and light weapons, "peace education" covering "all levels from preschool through university," and "political control of the global economy." The goals call for implementing all U.N. treaties that the United States has never ratified, all of which set up U.N. monitoring committees to compromise American sovereignty. To achieve this level of control over U.S. domestic law, the plan calls for "strengthening the United Nations for the 21st century" by "eliminating" the veto and permanent membership in the Security Council. The goal is to reduce U.S. influence to one out of 192 nations, so we would have merely the same vote as Cuba. The Global Poverty Act would be a giant step toward the Millennium goal of global governance and international taxes on Americans. Tell your senators to kill this un-American bill.
