John Brennan Exposed - Again and Again! Brennan Denigrates "Opportunity" of West

John Brennan, Obama's Deputy National Security Adviser for Homeland Security and Counterrorism is caught once again shilling for the enemy and making al-Qaeda and jihad the victim. Not only is he caught and publicly exposed by the Washington Times, Brennan is furious about it - so furious that he challenges the Washington Times saying some terrorists have the opportunity to become "Westerners." Brennan talks about the arrogance of calling the West an "opportunity."  Talk about arrogance, Brennan has sooommmme arrogance and sooommmme loathing of Western liberty in this contentious video below.

This story has a few layers. A June 11th editorial at the Washington Times said a Brennan speech in May 2010 made "Terrorists the real victim?". Brennan said

Mr. Brennan also asserted that "violent extremists" are victims of "political, economic and social forces." This dense statement implies that counterterrorism should focus not on terrorists themselves but the underlying causes that purportedly "victimized" them.... Making terrorists into victims also legitimates their grievances, which is a strange way to fight them....

Mr. Brennan also has been waging his own crusade on jihad. He claims "jihad is a holy struggle, a legitimate tenet of Islam, meaning to purify oneself or one's community, and there is nothing holy or legitimate or Islamic about murdering innocent men, women and children....." But jihad also can mean the violent struggle against non-Muslims for the defense or extension of the Islamic faith, something known as the "lesser jihad," which to the United States is the greater threat... 

Mr. Brennan's view of Islam as a universally benign force may lead him to dismiss some of al Qaeda's justifications for violence, which reveals willful ignorance. He may maintain that he knows more about Islam than our enemies, but they are dying to prove him wrong.

Days after the Underpants Bomber failed to scorch his scrotum, but failed to bring down the airliner, CNN's Gloria Borger interviewed Brennan. Brennan's scrotum was likely scorched a bit as well, as she claimed six government agencies had pertinent information about the almost-bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab. Brennan received a security briefing from Saudia Arabia specifically to warn him about bombers with bombs sewed into their underwear...and specifically from Yemen.

Brennan argued to put the Underpants Bomber in a civilian court with full protections of an American, rather than military, saying the U.S. can get him to talk by offering him A PLEA DEAL.

One more story about Brennan: In early January 2010, former head of the CIA, Michael Scheuer, accused Brennan of a career mainly consisting of "ass-kissing." I posted the videos here, but, no surprise...they've been removed from history of he Obama administration.

On August 20th, Washington Times writer Kerry Picket declares the White House wrong on terrorism...again. Speaking to reporters in Martha's Vineyard, Brennan talked about the release of Megrahi, the Lockerbie Bomber from a Scottish prison, and said that early release was "wrong." Nevermind that his boss, Barack Obama played an integral part in sending Megrahi home to Libya to live infinitum with his family after killing 190 Americans, many of whom were college students.

Unfortunately for Brennan, David Mastio, the Washington Times deputy editorial page editor was among those reporters. Here is an example of how the media might actually be a force for good in the U.S. Ed Driscoll at PajamasMedia also has the story. See the transcript below the video.

TWT: The concern that I have is your comments that we misrepresented you in the editorial, and what I understand the concern is about whether you described terrorists as victims. Is that?

BRENNAN: Yes, it was the one reference you made.

TWT: We have a copy of your speech here from whitehouse.gov, which I assume is the correct speech and the way I read this, and I think the plain English reading is : ‘This includes addressing the political, economic and social forces that can make some people fall victim to the cancer of violent extremism.’

BRENNAN: Right...victim to the cancer of violent extremism. Victim to that cancer as opposed to...

TWT: But, you’re not talking about dead bodies here. You’re talking about the people who fall under the sway of the terrorist ideology and...

BRENNAN: Right.

TWT: ...and commit acts of terror.

BRENNAN: Absolutely...as you say fall under the sway of, and what you say in your editorial was that ‘the terrorists are victims of political, economic, and social forces.’ That is not what I said.

TWT: That’s exactly what you said.

BRENNAN:That is not exactly what I said.

TWT: Immediately afterwards, you start talking about how you’re going to address this, and you say that ‘we need to show that legitimate grievances can be resolved, that we need to have good governance, that we need to reduce corruption, we need to renew partnerships and improve education, health, and basic services.

BRENNAN: Right, but don’t you think those are worth while endeavors? And don’t you think that some factors do contribute to the spawning of terrorists and extremist forces?

TWT: You’re saying that the people who are terrorists are victims of these things.

BRENNAN: I didn’t say that. Read what I said literally

TWT: We did read what you said.

BRENNAN: And you still don’t get it...do you?

TWT: No. Particularly since, if my knowledge of history is anything, that the terrorists who strike us over and over again are not people who are victims of these things. They are people who have the opportunity to become westerners. They are people who have the opportunity to...

BRENNAN: Opportunity to become westerners?!?! Boy if that is not an arrogant attitude. Opportunities to become westerners...people who strike us wherever they’re from?

TWT: People who are so oppressed, that they have college educations at western schools. People who are so oppressed that people that they have middle class lifestyles even in that places that they come from that are poor.

BRENNAN: Right. They are ideologically driven by a perverse and distorted version of Islam. Absolutely.

TWT: That has nothing to do with their social situation. Their social situation is just fine.

BRENNAN: So you don’t think that people who become ideologically driven are influenced at all by the political, social, and economic forces of their environment? You’re saying that they do this irrespective of their environment...of those social, political, and economic forces that are out there?

TWT: You’re not accurately describing their environment.

Judge Napolitano Michael Scheuer: Ass-Kissing and Clogging the Intelligence Pipeline

Michael Scheuer, the former head of the CIA's Alec Station, which was tasked with hunting Osama bin Laden, interviewed with Judge Andrew Napolitano on the Glenn Beck Show today. Scheuer was asked if John Brennan was up to serving as the President's right-hand man on security.

To kick things off, Scheuer began by saying Brennan's career mainly consisted of ass-kissing. In the second video, he says al-Qaeda may be clogging the intelligence channels with false information, and worse yet, with Obama's promise yesterday to chase down and follow every threat, the threats will become even more prevalent, and unmanageable.

Earlier in the show, Napolitano talks about the performance of the TSA's cameras at the Newark Liberty Airport, when a man entered a secure area through a sterile zone. Cameras caught the man embracing a woman in what was probably a goodbye kiss. Then he doubled back through a no-entry zone, ducked under the rope and walked off toward the boarding gate hand-in-hand with the woman - and out of sight. Napolitano said the airport shutdown caused soldiers to be counted AWOL, and students to miss classes - all because the proper equipment was not functioning where it should have been functioning...but then there the fact that the TSA officer who should have been on duty "stepped away" from his post and missed the entire event. Helen Thomas, the veteran "reporter" asks Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and President Obama's Deputy Security Advisor, John Brennan, to explain the motive for jihadist attacks against America. Nothing would make Helen happier than hearing, from the White House press room, where she has spent most of her, ahem...professional life, the declaration that America's aggression in Muslim lands has spurred Koranic fury against Western infidels. That's the answer she wanted, and it is shameful that she can shill for terrorists from the White House.

Thomas was born in Kentucky to Christian parents of Lebanese descent. She is restive about Israel, and that's putting it mildly. Thomas preens in the limelight of her leading questions, always designed to put Israel in the role of a demon. While she never talks about the democratic Israel, she certainly also never speaks of the human rights abuses of Muslims on Muslims, or the billions from the West which never seem to advance the country's food, education or clothing supply, but instead arms Hamas. Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab and Eric Holder: Abdulmutallab Federal not Military Defendant: Noteworthy News on Abdulmutallab

Two issues in this post. 1) Attorney General Eric Holder has struck again. The Underpants Bomber on Flight 253 is now a federal defendant, facing a civilian criminal trial courtesy of our Department of Justice. How long will we put up with the devious and cunning take-over of our Justice Department? We have a CYA underway that likely needs to cover more ass than we can ever imagine. 2) Some noteworthy news to report. Is it fact? - I don't know). See video below.

Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab

If Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab's actions on Christmas Day are an act of terror, and sponsored by al-Qaeda, as our President asserts, why is he not a prisoner of war? Senator Joe Lieberman is says the law of war applies, Abdulmutallab should be held in a "military brig," and should have been questioned by military and intelligence personnel now, and in the beginning. Rep. Peter King is calling for a military tribunal and says this man should now have the right to a civilian attorney.

By the way, this Muslim man with the very rich father asked for an attorney but said he could not pay for one. You and I will pay for his indefensible defense.

In October, Obama signed into law legislation that affirms a "sense of Congress" which asserts the preferred forum for the tril of "alien unprivileged enemy belligerants is a trial by military commission." What it is that distinguished Abdulmutallab outside the realm of an "alien unprivileged enemy belligerant?" There is, of course, nothing to distinguish him as otherwise.

If Abdulmutallab were an "alien unprivileged enemy belligerant" he would not be read his Miranda rights. Was he read his Miranda rights? Most certainly. This is the one distinguishing condition of the new legislation - no mirandizing.

Note that the first responsibility of a Military court is the protection of national security, but the first responsibility of a civil Federal court is to protect the rights of the defendant. John Brennan, Obama's top security adviser said yesterday that it is not a problem that Abdulmutallab has all the privileges of an American citizen in court, BECAUSE WE CAN OFFER HIM A PLEA BARGAIN, to get him to talk. Is this America? I ask you...is this America?

John Brennan, President Obama's top counterterrorism expert, justified treating the underwear bomber as a criminal with all the rights of a U.S. citizen, rather than an enemy combatant with no right to remain silent or demand a lawyer or a civil trial, by arguing that the government can offer him a plea bargain in exchange for his cooperation.

In other words, just like we give deals to drug smugglers or mobsters to give up information on bigger fish in their criminal enterprises, we can do the same with Abdulmutallab.

Had Abdulmutallab been designated as an enemy combatant from the start, we would not have had to offer him anything at all in exchange for the information he possesses. He could have been interrogated immediately by professionals without Miranda warnings, without a lawyer, and against his will.

This sets the scene for Abdulmutallab to be set free in exchange for information. It could happen. To think otherwise is foolish.

Tell me, how many in Holder's Department of Justice are on the battlefield and waging a war against terrorism? The answer is zero. Only U.S. military fights wars against foreign combatants, and they should be the only avenue to meet these "belligerents" in court.
I've been reading some lesser known press. Some of these reports are interesting and I think worthy of printing. Are they facts? Don't know. We'll see. The following are snippets, and I cannot vouch for any of it.

1) Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab's father, Alhaji Umar Mutallab may not be such a gentle and peaceful Muslim dad. Some believe that he was a very strict Muslim, and that his son was raised strictly. Some see American press erring in proclaiming the father's visit with the CIA as less a warning of harm to the U.S., and more an attempt to garner help in finding the son.

Again, the fact that his father must have sewn the seed of Islamic radicalization is not being articulated here: the father felt strongly about Islam that he decided the banking system was not good enough, was not practicing Islamic banking laws, that he pushed hard to found the first Islamic bank in Nigeria. 

...and the same source questions the family money:

Again, we have to caution about hailing Alhaji Umar Mutallab as an hero, as some in the American media are trying to do for seeking help from the American embassy in finding his son and his expression of concern about his son's radical Islamic turn.
What is being focused on is how wealthy the family is, but the question of how he accumulated so much money without evidence of how he made that money should give pause to those who are trying to extol his virtues.

According to BlackStarNews:

1) Abdulmutallab completed his Yemen Islamic studies in September 2009 and classmates "saw him off at the airport," but Abdulmutallab did not leave Yemen.

It is speculated that Mr. Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab left Yemen around the 13th of December, for Ethiopia. The Ethiopian government has not said how long he stayed in Ethiopia.  His next destination was Ghana.  
It was in Ghana that the KLM office there in Accra sold him a one-way ticket for $2,831 in cash.  This is where the whole thing starts to muddy up. According to all accounts, Mr. Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab not only paid for his one-way ticket in cash, but refused to provide a contact address.

Yesterday we heard Obama's Deputy Security Adviser, John Brennan tell CNN's Gloria Borger that paying cash for a ticket in Africa is the way it's done - it's done all the time because of corruption, but KLM is not an African company, and major airlines are not considered corrupt in their actions. He was allowed to pay cash and refused to give contact information.

2) BlackStarNews confirms that Abdulmutallab had a Nigerian passport when the checked in at KLM.
3) According to the Director General of Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, Abdulmutallab originall purchased a one-way ticket to Detroit, via Amsterdam, with no contact address or telephone number at KLM in Accra. That ticket was canceled and re-issued as a round-trip ticket, returning to Lagos, Nigeria. The return trip was scheduled for January 8, 2010. His passport was scanned at check-in. His US visa was scanned, and the "passenger information system returned no objection." He was allotted seat number 20B on the Lagos - Amsterdam leg, and seat 19A on the Amsterdam - Detroit leg.

"The passenger possessed a Nigerian machine readable passport issued Sept 15, 2005 to expire Sept 14, 2010 with passport number A3921640. His multiple entry US visa was issued in London, UK, on June 16, 2008 to expire June 2010."

"Thereafter, he passed through aviation security comprising of walk- through metal detector and baggage X-ray screening machine. He proceeded to the boarding gate where he went through secondary screening as confirmed by KLM officials. At the closure of the departure, passenger was confirmed on board, his name was on the post manifest under the serial number 2."

AllAfrica.com says that the father's wife is of Yemen descent, but cannot confirm that the Yemen women is Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab's mother.

Source WSJ: It is believed that Abdulmutallab spent 13 days in Accra, Ghana. He had numerous options for flying to the U.S. from Ghana, but instead flew back to Lagos.

...he boarded Virgin Nigeria flight 804 from Accra to Lagos on December 24, which departed at 5:06 p.m. "He filled the immigration forms on the flight," he said. "I have all those on the form before me so I know he was on the flight." He said the Ghanaian officials were trying to discern why Mr. Abdulmutallab chose to return to Lagos rather than fly to the U.S. from Ghana.

"We have numerous flights to Amsterdam from here," said Mr. Okudzeto-Ablakwa. "There's even a direct flight to the USA from Delta Airlines. This has remained baffling, why he went to Lagos before beginning a new journey." Mr. Okudzeto-Ablakwa said that Ghanaian officials had tightened security since the incident and plan to install full-body scanners at Kotoka International Airport in Accra. 

Source: BlackStarNews (linked above): He left Ghana on the 24th of December and flew to Lagos, Nigeria. He arrived in Lagos at 8:08 p.m. and less than 40 minutes later, he checked in for the Amsterdam-Detroit flight. Except for the time between arriving and departing, Abdulmutallab had not been in his home country of Nigeria for 5 years.

Listen as Gloria Borger, sitting in for CNN's John King, tells John Brennan that six government agencies had pertinent information on Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the Christmas Day bomber - yet no one connected the dots.

He reiterates there was "no smoking gun," (already an old story), and she forces him to answer her questions. He tells her everyone in Africa buys airline tickets with cash because there is so much corruption there. That's some position for a Deputy Security Adviser to hold. If that's done in Africa that's one thing. If we don't allow that cash-paying customer to get to the U.S. that's another thing. As Bill Kristol said today, these people are not serious about a war.

Listen to this exchange. You''ll hear Brennan spinning for his life (or job).  Brennan is lying through his teeth and talking as fast as he can. He lies about "turf battles." Read it here.
