The Thinking Blogger Award

I have noticed The Thinking Blogger Award icon on several sites that I read often. After some forced down-time with my computer, I arrived back on-line to find that two of my favorite reads, Blog @ MoreWhat.com and Faultline USA, had passed this award to me. I am honored and thrilled to know that they find reason to ponder some of my writing occasionally, as I certainly do theirs.

Now that I have been tagged for this award, it is my opportunity to tag five others that make me think. It is my pleasure to do so.

1. Sultan Knish from NY to Israel Sultan Knish makes me think whether I want to or not. His site is riveting. I've read several of his pieces under his "Important Posts" topic, numerous times.

2. A Voice of Reason: Sane Views for a Crazy World discusses today's issues, from family to world news, with the authority of a historian, as well as a father.

3. The View From Here is thoughtful blogging on today's most important issues, with a bit of emphasis on Europe. One of my favorites from The View From Here is "Will Europe Go Gently into the Goodnight?"

4. Miss Beth's Victory Dance is a fairly new discovery among my reading treasures, and is an excellent compendium of pertinent issues, with an emphasis on victory, of course.

5. The Amboy Times for all that's current, a bit of humor and some pithy dialog, as well as an ongoing piece that allows readers to add to "The List of Things that Offend Muslims."

Congratulations, you won a Thinking Blogger Award:

Should you choose to participate, please make sure you pass this list of rules to the blogs you are tagging. The participation rules are simple:

1. If, and only if, you get tagged, write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think.

2. Link to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of the meme

3. Optional: Proudly display the ‘Thinking Blogger Award’ with a link to the post that you wrote.

P.S. Send an email or leave a comment for the blogs you have tagged for the award.
Congratulations, you won a Thinking Blogger Award.

And, thanks again to my taggers:
Blog @ MoreWhat.com and Faultline USA.

If you have not arrived at an opinion on the merits of the Pelosi Middle East visit, read Blog @ MoreWhat's How About U.S. vs. Pelosi. If the title seems to give it all away, don't be fooled.
