Question for Ground Zero mosque supporters: Do you really believe this mosque at 51 Park will not be an attraction for every radical imam in the country, perhaps becoming the American Mecca? If Anwar al-Awlaki could get back into the U.S. without arrest, do you think he would not burn the trail to 51 Park? Do you think the mosque will not be treated as a trophy, and a proving ground for imams and their rising careers? Are you willing to take the chance of building a 15-story breeding ground where prayers 5 times a days will ring-over the site where American ingenuity once thrived, and Americans died.

AP Advisory to Reporters: Call it the NYC Mosque not the Ground Zero Mosque

AP staff and reporters received an order "advisory" today telling them to cut out the "Ground Zero mosque" rhetoric and refer to it as the "NYC Mosque," or "New York City mosque." It all depends on what the meaning of "is" is - or what they think they can make the public believe "is" is.

The AP has been trying to quash the idea that the mosque is considered the Ground Zero mosque. Whatever they were doing didn't work, so they're trying it again. They are attempting to shape the story, rather than represent the story, as usual. Just look at this and how they hope to manipulate opinions.

Here is some guidance on covering the NYC mosque story, with assists from Chad Roedemeier in the NYC bureau and Terry Hunt in Washington:

1. We should continue to avoid the phrase "ground zero mosque" or "mosque at ground zero" on all platforms. (We’ve very rarely used this wording, except in slugs, though we sometimes see other news sources using the term.) The site of the proposed Islamic center and mosque is not at ground zero, but two blocks away in a busy commercial area. We should continue to say it’s “near” ground zero, or two blocks away.

WE WILL CHANGE OUR SLUG ON THIS STORY LATER TODAY from “BC-Ground Zero Mosque” to “BC-NYC Mosque.”

In short headlines, some ways to refer to the project include:

_ mosque 2 blocks from WTC site

_ Muslim (or Islamic) center near WTC site

_ mosque near ground zero

_ mosque near WTC site

We can refer to the project as a mosque, or as a proposed Islamic center that includes a mosque.

It may be useful in some stories to note that Muslim prayer services have been held since 2009 in the building that the new project will replace. The proposal is to create a new, larger Islamic community center that would include a mosque, a swimming pool, gym, auditorium and other facilities.

The Washington Times said it is laughable to think the mosque will not be associated with Ground Zero, because once it is built, and maybe before, Muslims will tout it's Ground Zero location and 9/11. Read the entire article here.

Nancy Pelosi is so out of touch with America that she can't believe we will not protest this abhorrent idea of this victory mosque without someone paying for it. She believes the protest is political and calls building it or not is an "urban development" decision.

And I join those who have called for looking into how is this opposition to the mosque being funded," she said. "How is this being ginned up that here we are talking about Treasure Island, something we've been working on for decades, something of great interest to our community as we go forward to an election about the future of our country and two of the first three questions are about a zoning issue in New York City." 

Calls to investigate the funding for those proposing $100 million "Cordoba House" have fallen on deaf ears, though, as New York's Mayor Mike Bloomberg has described such an investigation as "un-American."

Note that Mayor Bloomberg said investigating where the money to build the mosque comes from is "unAmerican," but it is apparently not "unAmerican" to poke around in the American grassroots dislike of this victory trophy mosque.

Texas Birthright: 60,000 Babies Born to Illegals: 74% of Parkland Total Deliveries are Birthright Babies

Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas delivers more birthright babies than any other hospital in Texas. Last year at Parkland alone 11,071 children were born to illegal alien mothers. At least 60,000, maybe as many as 65,000 babies receive birthrights in Texas every year.

Republicans are discussing correcting the incorrect interpretations of the 14th Amendment which supposedly grants U.S. citizenship to anyone born on American soil. Democrat Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) is countering by accusing Republicans of attacking babies in the womb.  Ironic - Democrats believe an in-womb baby is nothing more than a fetus. The hypocrisy is rank. Hispanics vote for them anyway.

Republicans are accused of trying to shift the voting demographic. I believe that is true, and why not, but that is not the only impetus to stop the invasion of illegal alien mother's dropping their babies in America. The cost to the American people is intolerable and...of course, it is a matter of law. Yes, we ignored that law for a very long time, but that is no excuse for declaring it now.

Democrats and fine with keeping things as they are, because their only consideration is voters. Amnesty will bring millions to the polls voting for Democrats, who haven't given a thought to the Rule of Law in years, if ever:

 "The next 10 years will be an even more transformative decade demographically for Texas," said Dr. Roberto Calderon, an associate history professor at the University of North Texas and a Latin American expert following the debate.

He speculated that the Republicans probably were aware of this ongoing demographic shift and how it might threaten their party since Hispanic voters tend to support Democrats.

"Manipulating the status ... the rights and the opportunities for Latinos is the only avenue many on the conservative right see as a solution to remaining viable electorally," he said. "They're expecting what used to be safe Republican seats on the state and federal level will no longer be so safe."     

Most Americans welcome our South of the Border neighbors to citizenship, but we would really like for it to be done legally. We need you for more than the jobs you fill. We need you to preserve our Christian heritage - to have your babies in America because without you, our Muslim population will overtake our birthrate. It has already happened in most of Europe. We have maintained only due to the rapid Hispanic birth rate. In other words, we will be a Muslim nation without Hispanic births...but please, come legally and have your deserving children be a part of the American dream. Elena Kagan and Islamic Shariah Law

The emotions around the appointment of Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan are raw. I can hardly bear to write about what our Senate is doing to our country by placing Kagan on the highest bench in the land and for the term of her lifetime. Andrew McCarthy highlights Kagans' acceptance of shariah law and her sheer stupidity in understanding it.

 Real courage at Harvard would have called for condemning the university’s profoundly immoral, gluttonous promotion of sharia. While Kagan was at the law school her patron, Harvard’s president Larry Summers, accepted stunning $20 million donation for the creation of a program of studies to lionize Islam’s history and jurisprudence. The cash came from the Saudi prince Alwaleed bin Talal, the billionaire investor whose attempted $10 million contribution to the Twin Towers fund had been refused by New York mayor Rudy Giuliani when bin Talal blamed the 9/11 atrocities on American foreign policy. Summers, the anti-Giuliani, not only took the money but named the program and an endowment in the prince’s honor. And why not? By then, as Ben Shapiro reported, Harvard’s law school already had three Saudi-funded institutions devoted to the study of sharia...

Yet there were no condemnations from Dean Kagan over the prince’s lavish gift. To the contrary, she proceeded to forge the law school’s “Islamic Finance Project.” Its purpose is to promote sharia compliance in the U.S. financial sector....

Kagan and other apologists for SCF would absolve themselves from the real-world consequences of their allegedly well-intentioned diversity fetish. But legitimizing any aspect of sharia is the endorsement of all of it. Moreover, there is no cut-and-dried separation of sharia brutality from the tidy, white-collar world of financial transactions.

Robert Spencer, the director of Jihad Watch, told The Daily Caller that Kagan would help advance Sharia law in America out of ignorance. “[Kagan] would knowingly and wittingly abet the advance of Sharia, but she wouldn’t do it understanding anything about Sharia. She would do it out of her ignorance.”

Spencer attributes Kagan’s fondness for Sharia to naïveté and liberalism. “There is a general tendency on the part of political liberals in the United States today to take a benign view of Islam and Islamic law,” he said. “They are generally uninformed and share a hatred of the West and Western civilization.”

According to Spencer, Kagan will be a willing accomplice in the ongoing stealth jihad — or the institution of Sharia into non-Muslim societies via non-violent means, such as the courts and mainstreaming Islamic customs — currently underway against the “The goal of the jihad is to assert the primacy of Islamic law over non-Muslim society and over Muslim societies where it is not fully enforced, and that can take place either through violent or non-violent means and the goal is the same,” he said.

The 14th Amendment Gone Wrong: Note to Congress: Fix the 14th Amendment

It is estimated that some 300,000 babies are born in the U.S. to illegal alien mothers. When birth is given in the U.S., the child is automatically granted citizenship by the 14th Amendment - kinda/sorta.  The problem equates to far more than a mother and child. The number of babies birthed here each year add more to the U.S. population than all other migrant categories. Families flow over the border once a child is U.S. born - and the baby, proudly known as an "anchor baby," or a "jackpot baby," is then able to sponsor the rest of his/her family from somewhere other than the U.S. From that, congressional districts grow, which are then redrawn, sending a Liberal's heart soaring. Nevermind the fact that illegals are routinely counted in our Census.

Revisiting the 14th Amendment shows where the Courts went wrong, in 1898 and again in 1982, making the assumption that citizenship is determined by "physical presence" rather than the "legal status of the parent." It is important to remember that at the ratification of the 14th, there was no such thing as immigration, illegal or not, so could not have been a part of original intent.

Finally, some Republicans are looking at the 14th Amendment and considering initiating hearings on ending the onslaught of illegal newborns. I feel this will go nowhere with this Congress, but if we are successful in taking back the Chambers, this should definitely be on the agenda. The Washington Post chalks this interest up to "election-year-bizarreness," but I believe it comes from the necessity to get Constitutional and do it now. Had we been "Constitutional," throughout the years, think of the problems we would not have.

One question few ask, is how many Muslim children are born here with illegal migrant parents? It's an interesting question because our Census laws forbid counting people who identify as a religion - which Muslims do, and we apparently do not consider the fact that the religion is also government, with allegiance to Islam - pick any Islamic country.

The question is, if both parents are here illegally, should there be a reward for that?" asked Senator Jon Kyl on Face the Nation. Another way to ask that question is, should citizenship be determined by a newborn's physical presence here, or by the status of the parents, meaning if the parents are here illegally from Mexico, the child is considered a citizen of Mexico.

The 14th Amendment, ratified on July 9th, 1868, was intended to assure native-born Black Americans citizenship. In 1868 our country had no immigration laws, and thus the legislation was never intended to include children born of illegal migrants inside our borders. The Amendment reads:

"Every person born within the limits of the United States, and subject to their jurisdiction, is by virtue of natural law and national law a citizen of the United States. This will not, of course, include persons born in the United States who are foreigners, aliens, who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers accredited to the Government of the United States, but will include every other class of persons. It settles the great question of citizenship and removes all doubt as to what persons are or are not citizens of the United States. This has long been a great desideratum in the jurisprudence and legislation of this country."

Through 1897 various lawsuits upheld that the status of the parent determines the status of the child. However, in 1898, Wong Kim Ark brought the decision that plagues us today.

The question was put before the Supreme Court in 1898 in the case of U.S. v. Wong Kim Ark. In that case, Mr. Ark was the child of Chinese immigrants who themselves were subject to the Chinese Exclusion Act then in force (that law prohibited Chinese nationals from immigrating to the United States and from seeking naturalization). Lawyers representing Ark argued that the language of the 14th Amendment granted automatic and irrevocable citizenship to Ark as he did not fall within any of the exceptions carved out in the Amendment.

Lawyers for the United States, on the other hand, asserted that babies born to immigrants did not deserve the status of citizen merely through the accident of the location of their birth — a concept known as jus soli.

The Court held in Wong Kim Ark that under the 14th Amendment, a child born in the United States of parents of immigrant parents who, at the time of the child's birth are subjects of a foreign power but who are living permanently in the United States and are carrying on business in the United States, and are not employed in any diplomatic or official capacity, and are not members of foreign forces in hostile occupation of United States territory, becomes a citizen of the United States at the time of birth.

It is relevant to note that the parents of Ark were not illegal aliens, but legally present non-citizen residents of the United States.

In 1982 came the most recent challenge to the 14th Amendment, known as Plyler v. Doe. The Supreme Court struck down a state statute denying funding for education to the children of illegals, asserting the  "jurisdiction" of the parents was a "physical presence," rather than the status of the parents determining the status of the child. Three hundred babies later, and likely triple to quadruple the 300,000 in other family flowing into the country, here we are. And where we are includes Muslims doing everything they can to have their children born on U.S. soil.

Obama Admin FBI Still Cozy with CAIR: Uses CAIR Officials to Represent US Abroad

The FBI said they cut all ties to the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) in 2008 because of terrorist connection, but nevertheless, paid for a CAIR official to travel to Mali to say America discriminates against Islamicists through racial and religious profiling by law enforcement. This is not a one-time event. The Mali visits happened a second time!

One of the FBI's "top agent[s]" in Chicago spoke at an event moderated by a CAIR attorney and, according to The Investigative Project on Terrorism:

[the] State Department money also financed Walid's [Dawud Walid Executive Director of CAIR] trashing of American treatment of American Muslims. "Since the tragedy of September 11, 2001, American Muslims have been subjected to increased discrimination from racial and religious profiling by law enforcement, a rise in hate crimes, work place discrimination, to the recent trend of some citizens and elected officials protesting the construction of new mosques. 

Late last year, an Imam named Luqman Ameen Abdullah was shot 21 times including twice in the back during a raid by law enforcement agencies based upon an investigation of his mosque, which ended up proving no links to terrorism or treason," Walid said in Bamako, Mali.

As he has done since the Abdullah shooting last October, Walid failed to tell his audience that Abdullah fired first as FBI agents moved in to arrest him. Four other people who did not fire as agents advanced were arrested unharmed. That went unmentioned, too...

The trip was organized by Michigan State University, Walid said, but funded by the federal government.

The State Department needs a thorough cleaning. I blame George W. Bush for not taking on the task when he first took office. CAIR is a lie. Whatever they say, you can count on it being just the opposite. CAIR's presence in this country is an ongoing jihad.

Ground Zero Mosque Cleared by Landmark Commission

The Ground Zero Mosque took a step forward today as New York City's Landmark Commission declared that the Burlington Coat Factory building one or two blocks from Ground Zero is not a landmark. The Commission vote was unanimous.

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg supports the mosque, but protesters say the lack of funding information has them concerned. The man behind the mosque, Imam Faisel Abdul Rauf, has refused to name Hamas a terrorist organization, and has blamed U.S. policy for the 9/11 attacks.

Protesters wanted the dilapidated building, built in 1858, declared a landmark because a portion of one of the 9/11 airplanes came to rest inside this building. Deborah Burlingame, the sister of one of the 9/11 pilots who died, says this is not a matter of religion:

"There are interests in creating an Islamic presence at the site of the worst atrocity in the history of the Republic. It's very important to the people who want to hurt this country," Burlingame said.

Rick Lazio, a Republican running for governor of New York state, has called on  the state Attorney General, Andrew Cuomo, to investigate the mosque funding in his capacity for jurisdiction over nonprofit organizations. I believe the mosque will be built and Bloomberg will rue the day he did not stand against.

Rep. Peter King is calling for an investigation into the Ground Zero mega-mosque, as New York's Landmarks Preservation Commission holds a hearing today on the approval of the 157-year-old site being used for a mosque. King, who represents New York's District 3, said it is only fair that the families of victims of 9/11 know where the money is coming from. To that, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg said it would "unAmerican" to investigate.

Opponents of the mosque believe the facility is a terrible insult to the memories of 3,000 dead at the hands of Islamic terrorists, and they want the building declared "landmark status" or historical status.

Building the ground zero mosque is not an issue of religious freedom, but of resisting n effort to insult the victims of 9/11 and to establish a beachhead for political Islam and Islamic supremacism in New York...ground zero is a war memorial, a burial ground. Respect it," said Pamela Geller, a conservative, on her group's website, "Stop Islamization of America."

The mosque's estimated cost is $1 million which which means at least $2 million. It will consist of a community center, performing arts center, gym, swimming pool and...mosque encompassed in 13 stories. The area will be flooded with Muslims answering the call to prayer, as did the terrorists as they prayed to Allah and slammed into the World Trade Towers.

PayPal Accuses Atlas of Promoting Hate, Violence, Racial Intolerance and Financial Exploitation of a Crime

Pam Geller at Atlas Shrugs printed an email she received from PayPal, which accuses her of violating their Acceptable Use Policy. PayPal says their service "may not be used to send or receive payments for items that promote hate, violence, racial intolerance or the financial exploitation of a crime." She must remove the PayPal payment option from her website. Pam, along with Robert Spencer, a NYT best-selling author, and the founder and director of Jihad Watch, have formed Stop Islamization of America (SIOA). They recently sponsored a rally at of the corner of Liberty and Church in New York City, near the site of the planned Ground Zero mosque. A peaceful rally with thousands of Americans turning out to decry the erection of a mega mosque built to look out over the sacred burial grounds at Ground Zero.

Atlas Shrugs is a fierce defender of Israel. Israel has only one enemy capable of destroying her, and that is Islam. So Pam talks about Islamic jihad, which is not a myth, but a reality. Apparently, telling the truth is considered hateful by PayPal. Pamela's readers point out that RevolutionMuslim has a PayPal option under "Bank" button.

A Message from a Spainard to the U.S.: Get Acquainted with Muslim Demographics (Video)

I recently posted on the Nigerian would-be bomber aboard Northwest Flight 253. In reply to that post was a comment left at Radarsite on my cross-post. John Doebert is a Spaniard living in Spain and he has a message for America. We will do well to listen. Fitting perfectly with Mr. Doebert's comment is an important video on how Islam will defeat us all. See the video below.

Here is Doebert's first comment and a second follows:

I'm a spaniard who lives in Spain, Europe. Nevertheless, I feel and always felt very close to the US country, regardless of federal government or this or that particular policy.

For those not familiar with the local boundaries, let me tell you that Islam is right at our door, and that the whole Europe is infiltrated from within by the hundred of thousands muslims who, purportedly, want to live here and be like us, and really, want to destroy us.

And as they cannot do it openly by waging war against us, they have elected a much more subtle way: their women's wombs, changing our demography and gaining momentum by the sheer force of bigger population.

Using our legal systems, exploiting loopholes and shortcuts, they are being entitled with civil rights, right to vote, right to social money. That's right: we are paying the very same people who want to change our countries into a third world nasty cesspit. Now, Europe is lost. That much I'm afraid of.

A continent of cowards, losers, laidback old folks, without the guts to stand up and fight for its future against the islamic invasion. But you, USA, you got a future. You are the best experiment in mankind's history. A country founded from the scratch, no more than 250 years ago, with all your problems, you are still every person's hope.

So please wake up. OK, you've already have elected your official moron; but make it only one. In Spain, we have elected ours as well, but we have reoffended; we elected him for a second term, so he can betray us properly and put the final stake through our country's heart, everything in the name of tolerance and political correctness.

Please close your border to anyone not qualyfing in english language, non islamic faith and not capable of making a living on his or her own. You are being invaded in every possible way. You are the first and last hope of western civilization, and as such, you are in the greatest of dangers. Would you give your house's keys to the person who's gonna rat you?. Stand up and defend yourselves, great evil is coming, and is already here in Europe, specially in Spain and the like.

Regarding your idea of posting my comment in some other place, it's OK for me. I feel very grateful for your kindness. After all, I'm just a foreigner and some local in US could get upset about my speaking.

One final thought: I'm no average spaniard, make no mistake. People here are looking the other way, some trying to live their lives, some posturing as if anything happens, struggling to get food to the table, as economic situation is in shambles and worsening.

One cannot expect a high degree of awareness regarding any other thing than the basics when there's no job, no income, no future. I'm fortunate to have a job and to be able to invest some time in getting acquainted with national and international situation in most scenarios.

And islamic invasion is my main concern, as they are like termites. I think it was two years ago when a Palestinian mother showed in TV yelling and shouting that she was so proud that his son had blown himself up killing infidels. I was shocked to read an Israeli journalist commenting on the bomb blasts something like “as long as their hate for us is bigger than their love for their love ones, there's no solution". There you go: they treat themselves like they were all a mere walking canister for their bombs.

They want to be like us, and as they cannot (their Islamic system forbids it), they chose to destroy us.

BTW, very good job in the blog, keep it up; I’ve reading it for months.

Many of us see the threat and understand it, but are powerless to effectively fight it. Which reminds me of this important video. I'll hope you will take a minute to watch it - listen carefully, and then get busy propagating! Sadly, it isn't a joke.

The median average age in the country is 16.8 years old. That is just what jihad needs, millions and millions of radical teenagers. In 2009, an average of 6.32 children were born to each Yemen woman. Propagating baby jihadists is how radical Islam plans to take over your world and mine.

Second Graders Sing About Allah: Indiana Allah is God: Indiana Schools Praise Allah?

Danielle Thompson, the principal at Lantern Road Elementary school in Fishers, Indiana wanted to teach students inclusiveness to her students, and so the children in the school sang "Allah is God". When it came to including Christians in the inclusive holiday program, the children sang "I didn't know there was a little boy at the manger. What child is this? I'm not sure if there a little boy or not." The inclusivness at Lantern Road "included no other deity, other than Allah."

According to the report, "the phrase was removed just before the performance" after protests. Does that mean "Allah is God" was removed but the mocking of the birth of Christ and the manger was not?

Micah Clark, executive director of the Indiana AFA, launched an Internet protest once he heard about the allegations. “What surprised me here is that we’ve had a secular scrubbing of Christmas for so long and the school apparently didn’t see the problem with kids singing to Allah,” he told FOX News Radio. “You won’t even mention Jesus and you’re going to force my child to sing about Allah?

 In email correspondence the school initially defended the reference as a way to be inclusive of all religions. However, once complaints starting rolling in, school leaders decided to eliminate the Allah reference.
That drew the ire of the Muslim Alliance of Indiana. “It’s unfortunate if that was removed from the program just because of Islamophobic feelings,” Shariq Siddiqui told the Indianapolis Star.

Here are the lyrics of the praise to Allah:

“Allah is God, we recall at dawn,
Praying ‘til night during Ramadan
At this joyful time we pray happiness for you,
Allah be with you all your life through.”

Here are the lyrics for the Christian part of the program:

“I didn’t know there was a little boy at the manger. What child is this?
I’m not sure if there was a little boy or not.
Then why did you paint one on your nativity window?
I just thought if there was a little boy, I’d like to know exactly what he (sic) say." 

There are 542 little students, in grades Kindergarten through 4th at Lantern Road Elementary. The school's website says they "welcome all parents to take an active role in their child's education. That is just what David Hogan, the parent of a daughter in the second grade, did. She brought the lyrics home and he was stunned to know that his child had been praising Allah. How do you feel about the Islamification of your child, your grandchild, your niece, your nephew, the neighbor next door? Are you as appalled as I?

Christmas is about Christ. Christmas has nothing to do with Islam.

Listen as a Brit, Gavin Lee, interviews "Duane," an American Muslim at Nidal Hasan's local mosque, the Islamic Community of Greater Kileen. Duane has "no pity" for Fort Hood soldiers and he predicts Americans will react to his words with shock...then simply forget it.

"Duane" is issuing a challenge to Muslim-appeasing-Liberals. I hope these delusional enablers will hear how lame Islam believes you to be. The average American will not "forget." Listen as he says he has "no pity" for the dead soldiers, and then says, "

"it's just like a majority of the people who hear this will be shocked and after 5 minutes they will forget about it and go on their way."

Yousef al-Khattab is believed to operate a website, RevolutionMuslim where he posts his radical messages of hate. On Sunday November 8th, he posted the photo of Sgt. Amy Krueger with a quote from her family:

"joined the Army to 'take on" Usamah bin Ladin, her family said."

Across her face in red lettering are the words "FAIL."

No worries about the following the link above to Ms. Krueger's photo. It is not linked to RevolutionMuslim.

On the website, Khattab sends a "get well soon" message to Nidal Hasan, the Fort Hood killer who gunned down Sgt. Krueger and 12 others. Hasan is hailed as:

[a] "hero...an officer and a gentleman...injured while partaing in a pre-emptive attack. We love you."

According to this report, Khattab-Cohen said the soldiers "deserved to be massacred, and he insists the victims are in "eternal hellfire."

Yousef al-Khattab was born in New Jersey and lived in Israel with his wife for a time. On another Islamic website, he allegedly writes about his sojourn with Judiasm, and into Islam - and says the wife (mentioned above) was his first wife. He said they had 4 children together and eventually moved to Palestine. No clue where the wife or children are, but he is in New York City, peddling his hate and occasionally revealing the truth about Islam:

"Anyone who denies jihad is not a Muslim, that is what the Koran says," the bushy-bearded al-Khattab -- birth name Joseph Leonard Cohen -- told The Post. "I am talking about the physical, armed jihad, not the spiritual kind."

In January, the New York Post ran a piece on Khattab-Cohen:

He's on the radar of both the FBI the NYPD, but he's not considered a real threat, law-enforcement sources said.

Gregg Zukowski, president of the NYC Pedicab Association, said he was unaware of al-Khattab's jihadi side until contacted by a reporter.

"He's out there and working hard," Zukowski said. "[His beliefs] don't impact on his business."

Chuck Bennett, the author of this piece in the NY Post, gives us a glimpse of Yousef al-Khattab's "hard work out there:"

"I give a real tour of the city -- 47th Street, this is where they launder drug money for Colombia, this is the Garment District, from here they run the slave shops of the world," the attention-loving al-Khattab, 41, said.

He spends his free time annoying mainstream Muslims by handing out hate-filled literature outside the city's mosques with a handful of followers in tow or posting death threats against Jews disguised as prayers on his "Revolution Muslim" Web site.

Not at all surprising to read from British press that Nidal Malik Hasan attended the same mosque that three 9-11 hijackers attended - probably at the same time. While virtually all American media solemnly and virtuously ignores the Islamic aspect of what caused the death of 13 American soldiers on American soil, and left many more severely wounded, The TelegraphUK found a possible connection


 According to the report, Hasan worshipped at the Dar al-Hijrah mosque in Great Falls Virginia in 2001. The iman, who regularly called for jihad in America, was adored by his followers, and he is American born.

...at the same time as two of the September 11 terrorists, The Sunday Telegraph has learnt. His mother's funeral was held there in May that year.

The preacher at the time was Anwar al-Awlaki, an American-born Yemeni scholar who was banned from addressing a meeting in London by video link in August because he is accused of supporting attacks on British troops and backing terrorist organisations.

Hasan's eyes "lit up" when he mentioned his deep respect for al-Awlaki's teachings, according to a fellow Muslim officer at the Fort Hood base in Texas, the scene of Thursday's horrific shooting spree....

Al-Awlaki moved to Dar al-Hijrah as imam in January, 2001, from the west coast, and three months later the September 11 hijackers Nawaf al-Hamzi and Hani Hanjour began attending his services. A third hijacker attended his services in California....

Charles Allen, a former under-secretary for intelligence at the Department of Homeland Security, has described al-Awlaki, who now lives in Yemen, as an "al-Qaeda supporter, and former spiritual leader to three of the September 11 hijackers... who targets US Muslims with radical online lectures encouraging terrorist attacks from his new home in Yemen".

Sue Myrick CAIR: CAIR Claims Myrick Investigating Muslims on Capitol Hill

Rep. Sue Myrick and three other congressman called for an investigation into CAIR's involvement in placing two interns on Capitol Hill in 2007. CAIR claimed Myrick and the other Congressmen were investigating Muslims on Captiol Hill, but Myrick actually called for an investigation into CAIR.

Last week, I held a press conference on Capitol Hill attended by three of my colleagues in the House of Representatives to call for a federal investigation (s) into a non-profit group called the Council on American Islamic Relations (C.A.I.R.)

Here are the facts:

1. CAIR has documented ties to the terrorist organization HAMAS. This is stated fact by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

In an April 28, 2009 letter to US Senator Jon Kyl, the FBI wrote the following:

“As you know, CAIR was named as an unindicted co-conspirator of the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development in the United States v. Holy Land Foundation et al. (Cr. No. 3:04-240-P (N.D.TX.). During that trial, evidence was introduced that demonstrated a relationship among CAIR, individual CAIR founders (including its current President Emeritus and its Executive Director) and the Palestinian Committee. Evidence was also introduced that demonstrated a relationship between the Palestinian Committee and HAMAS, which was designated a terrorist organization in 1995. In light of that evidence, the FBI suspended all formal contacts between CAIR and the FBI.”

In case you are not familiar with the Holy Land trial referenced above, it was a Dallas, Texas trial that ended with guilty verdicts on 108 counts of funneling money ($12 million) to HAMAS.

2. The purpose of our press conference was to make public an internal CAIR memo that documented CAIR's stated goal of placing CAIR interns in the offices of members of Congress, especially the members who serve on the Homeland Security, Judiciary and Intelligence Committees.

Let me be clear here, CAIR, a group whom the FBI says is affiliated with the terrorist group HAMAS, is trying to place their interns in the offices of those members who serve on the three committees that handle national security related issues. National Security is the first responsibility of the federal government.

3. Following our press conference, CAIR, immediately labeled we four members as bigots and started their public relations campaign to discredit us by claiming that we were against Muslims working on Capitol Hill. We never said that. At no time during our press conference did we even insinuate that we were investigating Muslims being interns on Capitol Hill. Our focus was and is on CAIR and CAIR alone, not Muslims.

Likewise CAIR tried to make this a Republican vs. Democrat thing, because the four members at the press conference happened to be Republican.

How then does CAIR explain Democrat Senator Charles Schumer’s call earlier this year for a government-wide ban on CAIR in the federal government due to their ties to HAMAS? Democrat Senator Barbara Boxer has likewise made public her opinions of CAIR and any Google search will find her remarks.

4. CAIR is spending time, money and energy to position themselves as the spokespeople for the moderate Muslim community. Problem is CAIR is not a moderate Muslim organization. It is a radical front group for HAMAS. So who is CAIR competing with for this designation? The real moderate Muslim groups/individuals in America. Groups and individuals like the following who are committed to countering Islamist extremism:

Dr. Hedieh Mirahmadi – President World Organization for Resource Development and Education (WORDE) 

Zeyno Baran – Director for the Center for Eurasian Policy at the Hudson Institute 

Farid Ghadry – President of the Reform Party of Syria 

Manda Zand Ervin – Founder and director of the Alliance of Iranian Women

Omran Salman – Arab Reformists Project, 'Aafaq (Arabic for “horizons”). 

Dr. Zuhdi Jasser – American Islamic Forum for Democracy 

Karim Bromund – Director of Inter-Religious Affairs for the Islamic Supreme Council of America

I SUPPORT the Muslim individuals and groups mentioned above. These groups renounce terrorists and their radical ideology. They are trying their hardest to be heard and recognized in America, but are being overshadowed and out-funded by CAIR.

Today, when something happens that impacts the Muslim community, the media calls CAIR (an unindicted co-conspirator to terrorism and a HAMAS front group) for comment on behalf of American Muslims. What an insult the media is performing on the Muslim community.

Instead they should be calling Muslim groups/individuals like those named above. This is part of the reason we are focusing our attention on CAIR and exposing them for who they are. For one they pose a threat to our national security, and two, they deny the ability of legitimate Muslim groups to gain credibility.

5. In July of this year I held a summit on Capitol Hill where I introduced the leaders of eight moderate Muslim organizations to the heads of several US Agencies, Members of Congress and congressional staff.

For example, they met with representatives from the State Department, USAID, Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Defense. See through the lies and realize what is really going on here.

We are trying to expose a HAMAS Front Group (CAIR) for who they are, and they are crying we are anti-Muslim hoping that media outlets will ignore the terrorist claim and instead pick it up as a race/religion story. When those claims don’t work, they claim it’s a Republican political thing.

Americans, on this subject we need to stop the Republican vs. Democrat, Conservative vs. Liberal, Christian vs. Muslim division and unite on one simple point…. CAIR is a front group for HAMAS.

It was named as an un-indicted co-conspirator in a terrorism case that lead to 108 convictions of funneling $12 million to HAMAS. Because of the evidence produced in that case, the FBI severed all ties with them.

This same CAIR, by their own admission, is trying to place people inside the offices of members of Congress who deal with national security issues (judiciary, homeland security and intelligence committees).

I serve on one of those committees, Intelligence, am the co-chairwoman of the House Anti-Terrorism Caucus, and have spent the better part of the last four years working every day on terrorism related issues.

If we Americans fail to set aside our political, religious and ideological differences and unite when we encounter the enemy in such stark and plain terms, then God help us.

Rare moments of clarity and truth. She's growing her out. It's a good thing.

In the first video below, Clinton talks about the recent bombing that happened while she was in the area and makes a strong, and easily understood statement: "...terrorism cannot build. That is where we have an advantage."

In the second video, it is interesting to hear Hillary talk with reporters about Pakistan's failed attempt to treaty with the Taliban. In short she said, they tried, it failed, the government admitted it failed, and now a new road must be followed. If we had that policy dealing with Iran, we wouldn't have the Iranian menace today. It's a lesson we need not to forget. We also need not forget her "tax everything that moves and doesn't move" ideology. With 2010 elections coming, Democrats admitting they tax everything should be a Republican mantra. Not what the Founders had in mind.

Hygiene and Hijabs: CAIR Hijab in Medical Facilities?

A Muslim female doctor contacted CAIR to plead her case for wearing a hijab while working in a medical facility.

The unnamed doctor apparently living in Texas was informed in a job interview with CareNow, that the facility has a "no hat" policy. Naturally, the doctor thinks that has nothing to do with her hijab.

Being that I wear a head scarf to cover my hair as part of my religious practice, I felt very discriminated against.

CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations) has quoted the Civil Rights Act of 1964 in a letter to CareNow, but this has nothing to do with civil rights. It has everything to do with hygiene and security.

Britain has been fighting this battle for some time now. Women working at Liverpool's Alder Hey children's hospital did not want to "wash up" in the prescribed, and long-held necessary procedure because their forearms would be exposed. The hospital would make no exceptions in this critical matter.

There is no place in sterile environments for hijabs, burqas and unwashed forearms.

We'll see how this turns out. CAIR undoubtedly will use taxpayer money, through their tax exempt, non-profit status, to sue CareNow in Texas. Can we keep hijabs out of medicine?
