Battle for America The Movie Documentary Trailer Video

Citizens United Productions is releasing a new movie/documentary with Dick Morris. If you are familiar with Generation Zero and Fire from the Heartland, Battle for America is produced by the same people. The film goes directly to DVD and will be released on October 11, 2010. Watch the Battle for America trailer below.

Dick Morris

From BigGovernment:
Battle for America is more than an indictment against the elitist governing class. This film’s inspiring message is also a call-to-action for every citizen to take back our country and return it to its core principles based upon a limited federal government...
Our country is at a crossroads. The beauty of our Republic is that every two years the American people have a chance to voice their opinion at the ballot box. Battle for America helps explain what's at state for the 2010 elections.
Battle for America features Dick Morris, The Weekly Standard's Fred Barnes, Tony Blankley, Senator Christoper Bond (R-MO), Arthur Brooks, Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK), Ann Coulter, Lou Dobbs, Michael Flynn , Newt Gingrich, Rep. Dan Lungren (R-CA), Rep. Thaddeus McCotter R-Mich), Rep. Sue Myrick (R-NC), and Eric Singer.

Election Day November 2, 2010 is the day you and I show Congress how we feel about our country running a-muck with no budget as "we the people" face the largest tax increases on New Year's Day ever levied on Americans. Visit the documentary website here to order your DVD, $19.95 + $4.00 shipping.

Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook Creator Joins NAMBLA: Facebook Scrubs NAMBLA

I saw the movie Social Network a few days ago - the amazing story of how Mark Zuckerberg and friends created Facebook. I was stunned when I saw a Forbes headline "Mark Zuckerberg Joins The North American Man-Boy Love Association" (NAMBLA). I have no knowledge of Zuckerberg's sexual preference, but whatever it is, I would not expect him to be a member of NAMBLA. In return, or maybe because of Fox News, Facebook has begun purging the pedophile group known as NAMBLA. See videos below.

Mark Zuckerberg

Facebook has given it's users a new option. We can create "Groups" and apportion friends to any group we want, whether that friend likes it or not:
Blogger Michael Arrington seems to have already performed a helpful proof-of-concept by adding Mark Zuckerberg to a group supposedly representing NAMBLA, the North American Man-Boy Love Association. Zuckerberg’s addition to the group is broadcast to all of his friends, as shown in the image above.

So I assume this is a joke...but NAMBLA is not a joke. Fox News reported the increasing presence of NAMBLA on Facebook:
The world’s largest pro-pedophilia advocacy group uses Facebook to connect with its members throughout the world; to find and exchange photos of children; to hone its members' predatory behavior; and to identify, target and reel in child victims, an investigation by Fox News.com reveals.
And Facebook began the purge. See a list of some of the NAMBLA chapters scrubbed here.
“NAMBLA” in the “Organizations-Advocacy Organizations” category, which featured a photo of a man being kissed on the cheek by a small child.  Its description read: “We are the North American Man/Boy Love Association. Our sole purpose is to push forward the concept that a consenting man (18+) and a consenting minor (-18) can have a sexual and loving relationship legally.
NAMBLA's website says they are "expanding" their online presence. On their page "Why NAMBLA Matters," their first bullet is followed by "For 30 years, NAMBLA has been the primary voice testifying to the benevolent aspects of man/boy love."

NAMBLA is a vile organization, traveling around the world on the hunt for underage boys, especially in third world countries. They have survived by hiding behind Free Speech. South Park aired a segment written around them. Barack Obama's "Safe Schools" Czar, Kevin Jennings, a gay man, has said he was "inspired" by Harry Hay, the founder of Radical Faeries, and a communist. Hay was not a member of NAMBLA but was a featured speaker at some NAMBLA events and was well acquainted with the mission of Man/Boy Love members. Read more about Harry Hay, NAMBLA and Kevin Jennings here.

There are times when I have admired statements issued by Camille Paglia (danged if I can remember any of them this minute), not that I know a lot about her, but get this statement on the passing of Alan Ginsberg, titled The Purity of Allen Ginsberg's Boy-Love:
As far as Ginsberg's pro-NAMBLA stand goes, this is one of the things I most admire him for. I have repeatedly protested the lynch-mob hysteria that dogs the issue of man-boy love. In "Sexual Personae," I argued that male pedophilia is intricately intertwined with the cardinal moments of Western civilization. Donatello's historically pivotal bronze sculpture, "David" (1430), was my main exhibit -- a languidly flirtatious work that would get the artist arrested for kiddie porn these days. In "Vamps & Tramps," I said that Western moralism and hypocrisy have driven the matter underground and overseas, where impoverished Third World boys now supply the sex trade.
"...male pedophilia is intricately intertwined with the cardinal moments of Western civilization?

So, if I were Mark Zuckerman, I might think of suing.

Much of what we know about NAMBLA comes from a former FBI agent, Bob Hamer who went undercover inside NAMBLA for three years. See that video below.

By the way, the movie Social Network was some of the best acting I've seen in years. I cannot vouch for how much of the movie is true, or how much embellished, but I believe most is true, and I predict it be will be at the top of well-deserved Oscar handouts. I was riveted. See a movie trailer and clip below.

Zsa Zsa Gabor Plastinated? Frederic von Anhalt wants Zsa Zsa's Body Plastinated

I don't really know how a body gets plastinated, but I some vague, unpleasant visuals. Ninety-three year old Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband, Frederic von Anhalt says he wants to preserve her beauty by plastination after she dies. See a video below.

Zsa Zsa Gabor and Frederic von Anhalt

Zsa Zsa is back in the hospital in critical condition. She requested last rights several weeks ago. You may remember that von Anhalt thought he was in the running for the biological father of Anna Nicole Smith's baby daughter but Larry Birkhead won that one after a DNA test. Von Anhalt wants to plastinate his wife's" body in the context of a scene in one of her films"

Zsa Zsa Gabor

Von Anhalt is about 68 years old. In his 40's he was adopted by Princess Marie-Auguste of Anhalt who was the daughter-in-law of Kaiser Wilhelm II. After von Anhalt's marriage to Zsa Zsa in 1986 they adopted together, "several men." The "adoptions" grant the men the use of the word "Prince von Anhalt," or Prinz von Anhalt along whatever other name they use. German newspapers have accused Frederic of "selling" the title he received from Marie-Auguste.

Zsa Zsa Gabor

In 2007 Frederic von Anhalt says he was robbed and stripped of all clothing, at gunpoint, by three "attractive" women. He said he was bound and handcuffed, although he called police on a cell phone.

The Prince says Zsa Zsa always hoped her "beauty would be immortal." Read an interesting interview with Zsa Zsa here.

Betty White Sigourney Weaver Video from Funny or Die

I'm sure Betty White is totally Liberal, but at least I think she would have a smile on her face as she repeated the party line, or worse" with her spot-on timing. She is such a funny lady and has a second or third career in full gear. Here's a skit with White, Sigourney Weaver, Kristen Bell and Odette Yustman promoting their new movie, You Again. The movie also stars Jaimie Lee Curtis and Kristin Chenoweth. See the trailer here. Order the 2011 Betty White Calendar here (Maggie's Notebook receives no remuneration for a calendar order.)

Wyoming Short Film Contest Patrick Mignano: Patrick Mignanos Absaroka

Fellow blogger and sculptor David Lemon sent a link to the Wyoming Short Film contest. David's friend is a friend of the Absaroka filmmaker, Patrick Mignano, who wrote, produced and directed the short.

Patrick Mignano

Visit WyomingShortFilmContest, click "Random," and choose "Top Rated." Absaroka pops up first.

The film is visually quite beautiful. It's a Western with a moral lesson. We see few of both today.

Absaroka

[Mignano] I got up early and broke the trail out to the location through about three inches of snow on the highway. We were filming on the North Fork of the Shoshone River for the next two days in a forested canyon near Wapiti. There was a light snowfall but the world was a wondrous mountain setting with the penetrating quiet of the snow and mantle it cast over the rocks and trees.
The winner of the contest receives $25,000, which Mignano hopes to use to make a full-length feature. If you want to comment or vote, there is a very easy registration process.

Glenn Beck on Tom Hanks' Military Annihilation Accusations

First, a word from Tom Hanks:

Pacific, now, is coming out where it represents a war of racism and terror. It seemed as though the only way to complete one of these battles on a small speck of rock, in the middle of nowhere, is to, I'm sorry, Kill them all. Does that sound familiar with what we are going through today.
Is this what schools teach today? Is this what young adults believe the War in the Pacific was all about?

Japan was set to expand into Asia to countries that did not welcome her. She needed oil. No one  assumed she would not find the oil and take it. There were many complexities in Japan's relations with Britain and France, which complicated matters in the U.S.  Once Japan replaced the Peace Party with their War Party, the stage was set. The plan was to seize the oil fields in the Indies, and they saw the U.S. as an enemy in that endeavor. So they attacked Pearl Harbor.  How is this argued any other way?

America had two choices to end the war. Invade Japan or drop the bombs. An invasion was estimated to leave 35% of our landing forces dead - at least, depending on the size of the Japanese forces greeting us. Civilians were in training to join the fighting forces. Estimates of the dead including both Japanese and American forces were estimated at 250,000 to five million. Some 105,000 people perished in the explosions in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The original purpose of the atomic bomb was to clear the beaches for a land invasion, so had the war not ended with the bombings of two cities, the bombs would likely have been used on the beaches. And Americans would have died.

Is Hanks' case that after the Japanese attacked us at Pearl Harbor, American soldiers should have, in the end, laid down their lives for the Japanese, rather than ending the war. Apparently, that is what he thinks.

Had we wanted to "kill them all," we could have killed them all. Instead we killed fewer, while they were killing us. If we wanted to "kill them all" today, we could do so. Obviously, that is not our goal. We are building schools, hospitals, electrical grids and water plants. None of which worked for the people under Saddam Hussein.

It deeply offends me that Tom Hanks says the war with Japan was about racism and terror, and that today, we want to "kill them all," as our own soldiers have been blown apart trying to make Iraqi towns safe for the people.

These days, Sean Penn is more palatable than Tom Hanks.

More from Hanks:
Back in World War II, we viewed the Japanese as 'yellow, slant-eyed dogs' that believed in different gods. They were out to kiss us because our way of living was different. We, in turn, wanted to annihilate them because they were different. Does that sound familiar, by any chance, to what's going on today?"
I read a comment saying that Tom Hanks' had more in common with Forrest Gump than we could imagine, but Forrest was a patriot. He didn't make stuff up. It was what it was, and it wasn't what Tom Hanks says it was.

The video below is Glenn Beck with radio sidekicks Pat and Stu. This is a longer discussion but one worth having and listening to. Beck makes the point that America must begin looking out for herself. The way we do that is strike a lethal blow when we are struck, get back to our lives as quickly as possible - and in the main, quit protecting those able to protect themselves.

Tom Hanks Rewrites History: Tom Hanks Calls the US Annihilators

Last night, O'Reilly talked about Tom Hanks latest absurd remarks, which were essentially that America wanted to 'annihilate' Japanese during WWII because they were different, and believed in different gods, and we are doing the same today in the Middle East. The attack on Pearl Harbor and the World Trade Towers couldn't penetrate Hanks' liberal thought processes. While we love much of his work, especially Band of Brothers and John Adams, and await this Sunday's premier of The Pacific, his efforts to rewrite history are more than a little aggravating, and deeply disrespectful to this country.

Tom Hanks

John Nolte at Big Hollywood has some powerful commentary on Hanks:
...when it comes to leftist Hollywood, whenever Tinseltown and America meet, you have to brace yourself for it — and by “it” I mean the leftist sucker punch. Throughout, Hanks sounds perfectly reasonable, intelligent and even patriotic for a couple of thousand words. But of course that’s just the lure to get us on his side before we’re walloped with this left cross<
And to answer Hanks’s question: No — annihilating people who are different sounds NOTHING like what’s going on today.
This country spends billions and billions of dollars on weapons designed to target the enemy and save the lives of  people who are “different” — those who are not our enemy but still manage to look different, speak languages we don’t and worship in ways unfamiliar to us. The irony is that as Hanks spoke those slanderous words, the American Military remains in the middle of two conflicts that have cost us thousands of precious lives and hundreds of billions of dollars all towards the noble goal of liberating 50 million “different” people in Iraq and Afghanistan. And we all know that had we practiced a more selfish and barbaric form of war the enemy would’ve been destroyed faster, American lives would’ve been saved, and the financial cost would not have been nearly as high.
But there’s no reason to speculate about America’s motivations during WWII because history has proven Hanks wrong. We had every opportunity to annihilate these “different” people. Instead we chose, at great expense, to rebuild Japan and return the sovereignty of that nation over to the “yellow, slant-eyed dogs who believed in different gods.” Or, as most people prefer to call them: our newly liberated allies.
But that’s not who we are.
Whether they’re “yellow, slanty-eyed dogs that worship different gods” or the people of the Middle East who share the same language and religion as those pledged to murder us, America selflessly protects the innocent who are “different” and as humanely as possible seeks to “annihilate” only those — even if they’re not “different” (like, say, Germans and Italians)– who practice an ideology that actually does believe annihilating those who are different.
You almost get the sense that Hanks suddenly felt uncomfortable talking about America so extensively without throwing a bone to his MSNBC fanbase.

A Cinemark 22 in Lancaster, California was the scene of a bizarre stabbing after a moviegoer asked a woman to stop talking on her cell phone during the movie. The woman took her cell outside the theater, but returned with a few thuggish friends who stabbled the man in the neck with the meat thermometer shown in the video below, and slashed several others around him. The victim has been in a coma for 7 days. The stabbers and slashers are shown in the video. Police are hunting for them.

Palestinian Avatars: Avatar Metaphor for Palestine?

Palestinian protesters, dressed in sky blue, long-sleeved T-shirts, matching blue paint on their faces, long braided hair, with Avatar ears sprouting, and the...loincloths - are protesting Israel's security barrier wall, and sending a message that they are the indigenous race to the land. Is Avatar the movie intended to be a metaphor for Palestine?

 Palestinian Avatars

If Avatar was not on your list of movie-musts, the 3-D smash-hit grossed $77M in its first weekend with snow all over the northeast keeping anxious viewers at home. The story is an intergalactic tale of the Na'vi, a race that "belongs," while those arriving from Earth, do not. One reviewer of the James Cameron film, writing at Art Dubai, muses that Avatar may actually be a "metaphor for Palestine."

Avatar Movie

Every Friday Palestinians from the Bil'in Popular Committee Against the Wall, protest a security barrier at the village of Bil'in in Ramallah. The wall was constructed by Israel  in 2002 to keep their own citizens safe, after suicide bombers flooded into Israel, killing more than 1000 in a ten year period, and many apprehended before they detonated. Not a pleasant way of life for any civilized citizenry. This is about suicide bombers. That is why the wall went up.

Israel is rerouting some of the wall, which will return half of the Palestinian territory lost when the wall went up, but that is not good enough for the villagers on the other side. Perhaps they should trying stoning any Palestinian family thinking about belting up. Without suicide bombers, the wall would not have been necessary. See a photo essay here.
