Muslim Brotherhood Gets Direct Access to White House: Texas Governor Rick Perry Gets Nada: Behold Another Iftar Dinner at Taxpayer Expense

We hear today that President Obama has granted "Direct Access" of the White House to the Muslim Brotherhood, but refused even a quick meeting with Texas Governor Rick Perry while Obama was visiting in the State. A booby prize was offered to Perry, granting him a meeting with Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and Counterrorism Czar John Brennan. Perry declined the "opportunity," but no booby prize for the Muslim Brotherhood, who are meeting as we speak at the White House tonight. The White House declared there will be "no red tape" for the Islamic terror backers. Did I mention there is another Iftar dinner at the White House for the "brothers," after the meeting White House workshop?

Muslim Brotherhood

So what is the purpose of the workshop? From Big Peace taken from the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) newsletter, this is the purpose
…Leaders from Muslim organizations around the nation, particularly social service organizations, are invited to a workshop with representatives from the DOA, Faith Based and Neighborhood Partnerships, Health and Human Services, the White House, Department of Education, the Department of Homeland Security, and more. Twenty five to thirty Muslim leaders representing 20 Muslim organizations are expected to attend the workshop.
According to a representative of CCMO, this workshop is designed to clarify how Muslim nonprofits, mosques, Islamic centers, and social service organizations can strengthen their communities through more direct access to opportunities provided to social service agencies at the Federal level. “It will hopefully help cut through some of the red tape and shine light on the many opportunities for funding, government assistance, and resources that we just don’t know about at the local level,” said Elsanousi.
More from Christine Brim at Big Peace on the redistribution of your money:
This workshop constitutes an abdication of their professional responsibility by all government participants – and a taxpayer-funded government stimulus program for the attending Muslim Brotherhood-associated groups.  The Muslim Brotherhood, founded in 1928, is a global Islamist political movement dedicated to imposing Shariah law on all nations and institutions.  Their credo is “Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. Qur’an is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.”
Why do we think some of these groups attending, possibly all, may be associated with the Muslim Brotherhood?
Because the sponsoring organization – the Coordinating Council of Muslim Organizations (CCMO), co-sponsoring with the Department of Agriculture – has a long history of associations with the Muslim Brotherhood.  They also signed a 2009 American Muslim Task Force statement threatening to “suspend” relations with the FBI, because the FBI was investigating possible links to homegrown terrorism in mosques and other Muslim organizations.
Obama gave this Iftar speech last year at the White House:

The President welcomed his guests by noting that the many contributions made by American Muslims to US culture were too numerous to mention, and added that "Tonight's Iftar is a ritual that is also being carried out this Ramadan at kitchen tables and mosques in all fifty states. Islam, as we know, is part of America. And like the broader American citizenry, the American Muslim community is one of extraordinary dynamism and diversity -- with families that stretch back generations and more recent immigrants; with Muslims of countless races and ethnicities, and with roots in every corner of the world."
From Discover the Networks on the Muslim Brotherhood:
Outside the Middle East, the Brotherhood has expanded its operations to the United States. Muslim activists affiliated with the Brotherhood have founded the Muslim Students' Association, the North American Islamic Trust, theIslamic Society of North America, the American Muslim Council, and theInternational Institute of Islamic Thought. The Brotherhood also reportedly exercises a strong influence in Muslim communities throughout Europe.
In recent years, the Brotherhood has attempted to forge a reputation as a moderate and reformist Islamic group that has renounced its violent past. Lending plausibility to this reputation has been criticism of the organization by radical Islamist groups, who have condemned the Brotherhood’s willingness to participate in the political process as heretical. These groups have also criticized the Brotherhood for supposedly abandoning violent struggle as a means of establishing an Islamic empire.
However, numerous statements by the Brotherhood’s leadership belie its moderate posture. Ali Sadreddine Bayanouni, the leader of the Syrian Muslim Brotherhood, has repeatedly disavowed violence while concurrently pledging his support for the terrorism of Hamas and Hezbollah. Muhammad Mahdi Othman Akef, a prominent leader of the Brotherhood, has expressed his support for suicide bombings in Israel and Iraq "in order to expel the Zionists and the Americans."
The sad thing is, none of us are shocked at anything anymore. Read about Obama's rejection of Governor Rick Perry here.

Tarp Covers West Wing of White House: Mosque Under Construction

A strange white tarp (not TARP) is covering the West Wing of the White House. Just kidding, of course, about the mosque, but.... Remember Libya's Moammar Gaddafi wanting to pitch a tent in Central Park? Maybe he's coming to visit. This view is said to be taken from the Rose Garden.

West Wing Floor Plan

The West Wing is the section of the White House that houses all of the official offices of the President. By the way, did you know that Katie Johnson is Obama's "personal secretary." Before taking the position with Obama, Johnson worked for Rahm Emanuel for two years as his special assistant.

Fox News Gets Front Row White House Briefing Room Seat

The White House Correspondents Association has voted unanimously today to bump the Fox News White House reporter to the front row in the briefing room. The Associated Press gets Helen Thomas' former front row center seat, vacating the seat Fox will occupy. NPR gets rights to Fox's previous second row seat.

This is a much deserved perk for Fox's Major Garrett who doesn't shy away from the tough questions.
The 2010-2011 WHCA [White House Correspondents Association] board includes representatives from USA Today, Reuters, C-SPAN, the New York Times, Politico, Time Magazine, NPR and the DC Examiner.

White House Budget $1.5B for Farmers: What Budget? Does WH Have Spending Power?

Rahm Emanuel, Obama's Chief of Staff, has told Senator Blanche Lincoln (D-AR) the White House will find $1.5 BILLION for farmers suffering from disasters across the country, including for her state of Arkansas, from the budget. What budget? We don't have a budget. He means from Obama's stash, which comes from only the Almighty knows where.

White House

Lincoln successfully got the $1.5 billion of agricultural disaster assistance in a bill designed to aid small businesses. Republican blocked the vote. But apparently Rahm will find it, and provide it through "administrative assistance" from Obama's stash?

Emanuel called Lincoln on Thursday morning to tell her the administration would find $1.5 billion within its budget to help farmers in Arkansas and around the country who are coping with natural disasters.
Emanuel promised to provide the assistance administratively to get her to agree to delete $1.5 billion in disaster relief assistance for farmers from small-business legislation.
Emanuel’s intervention shows how closely the president and his senior aides are following the bill Democrats are trying to push through Congress.
Since when does the Executive Branch have the right to spend? Again, from what Budget will Rahm find the $1.5 billion? Only Congress has the power to spend. The point is, if Congress does not agree to spend taxpayer dollars, the President cannot just take care of it himself.

Note: this has nothing to do with farmers getting money that may be due them. It has everything to do with how they get it. From what authority does White House have that power?

Michelle Obama on Free Health Care, Doesn't Mention New Taxes

Michelle Obama is stumping for health care and throwing the word "free" around like a frisbee.

Michelle Obama

FLOTUS says these services will be free after September 23rd, as she obviously believes it, as only a Progressive Democrat can:
“Under this new law, all new private plans will provide basic preventive services — things like childhood immunizations and checkups, mammograms, colonoscopies, cervical screenings, and treatment for high blood pressure — absolutely free of charge. No copay. No deductible. No co-insurance needed,” she wrote.
Maybe we won't pay at the Doctor's office, but some of us will pay with the health care tax the administration is planning as a vehicle to spread our wealth, whether we have it or. If you're not on the tax hit list, don't take much comfort. They will undoubtedly come for you soon, unless you're poor.

Mrs. Obama says her life will be "easier" now that her husband's health care is taking effect.

The first thing I tell people who ask about the Affordable Care Act is that, for moms like me, it makes our lives easier. It gives families control over their own care. And it gives us the comfort of knowing that our insurance will be there when we need it most — especially if we get sick. Then I tell them that it gets better, but there’s a lot to know. To help, this administration has set up HealthCare.gov, where folks can see customized information about how care will improve for their families.
Can't wait for the blowback in October, and again in January when the new taxes hit. Get the White House spin here.

Fake Tea Party Videos Linked to White House?

Yesterday RightKlik had a post up with a video supposedly showing vile racists involved in the TEA Party movement. RightKlik went on to verify where every scene in the liberal Think Progress video originated from, and guess what? It wasn't a TEA partier. Today, Gateway Pundit shows a likely connection to the White House through the Soros-funded CAP organization and John Podesta.

This is vile stuff. Yesterday at RightKlik's I left a comment that he should be in the running for a Pulitzer for  investigative reporting. Visit RightKlik to see the extent of the lies and then Gateway Pundit to finish the story.

Update: Another Gateway Pundit revelation, the NAACP has had anti-Semite, white hater Louis Farrakhan of the Nation of Islam and "Jeremiah “G*d D*mn America” Wright speak at their conferences. Read it here.

Allen Kruse Death A White House Whitewash? Pensacola Beaches Black Water Bubbling Like Acid

The Pensacola Journal has a Gulf spill story from June 26th that has had only a smattering of attention by the mainstream media, from which at least one report was taken down shortly after it went up. We know that Captain Allen Kruse took his life aboard his own boat while working for BP, using his own craft to clean up the spill. What we haven't heard is that BP and their pathetic response to the clean up, their treatment of those working for them, and inane processes to get paid so the family can eat, is perhaps the bigger story. The beautiful beaches of Pensacola are now black with oil. The second video below is a local filming the waters, churning and bubbling as though they contain "acid." When he turns and walks toward the beautiful sugar sand beach, I had to ask, where are the photos of this.

Allen Kruse

The other story is that the White House is nowhere to be found, other than threatening BP just before a round of golf. The press is not allowed in the area now, so what will we not know? Residents are in need of counseling. Churches have added prayer times. And then there are conjectures that Kruse's death was not suicide. The coroner has only said it is "likely" a suicide. Kruse left no note behind.

A charter boat captain for 25 years, Allen Kruse, 55, left behind a wife and three children. I don't know how he thought his death might help his family. But all that aside, Tracy Kruse says he told her he had to "get out of this. I can't take it."
About 7 a.m., after a BP training meeting, he climbed into the wheelhouse of his 46-foot charter boat and ended his worry, his frustration and his anger with a single bullet to the head.

"Nothing was easy working with BP. Everything was hard, and it consumed him. He wasn't crazy," said his wife, Tracy, 41, sitting outside the couple's home in Foley on Thursday.
"He'd been a charter boat captain for 25 years, and all of the sudden he had people barking orders at him who didn't know how to tie up a boat to a pier. I think he thought, 'I've got to get out of this. I can't take it.' "
Mrs. Kruse said the paperwork to file a claim to be paid for his time was overwhelming. One invoice was 52 pages, and once a claim was completed, she says it was difficult to get it to BP. He had lost 30 pounds and wasn't sleeping.

 Pensacola Beach

American Everyman says BP owed Allen Kruse $70,000 [also reported in the Washington Post article below], and this blog appears to have been following this story closely, including watching and reporting on the media-scrub.

The Washington Post quotes a Kruse employee:
"We're helping cover up the lie. We're burying ourselves. We're helping them cover up the [expletive] that's putting is out of work... "
A spokesman for the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans said angst and domestic violence is rising in the area, including increased drinking. A social worker who "helps fishermen's wives said:
The oil spillis like a cancer or tumor. It is creeping and unpredictable from whether people will have livelihoods or health issues from helping clean it up. You just don't know whether it is benign or malignant.

Oil is still pouring out, spreading, with an unmanageable toxicity that evokes comparisons to disease.
Another fishing boat captain, Tom Ard, told the Washington Post everyone looked up to Kruse, who was known as "Rookie," after the name of his boat. He believes Kruse had no hope that any cleanup would work:
His quote to me was, 'Don't try to rationalize it...just sign you name and get on your boat, and don't try to tell anybody how to run the program, and don't try to tell 'em what the local knowledge is....the point was The cleanup is hopeless, and you'll just tire yourself out trying to improve the situation.
The two men agreed it was like being in prison. Churches in the area are offering daily prayer and Masses

Tracey Kruse said in the minutes when her husband was preparing to shoot himself in the head, she does not believe he was thinking of his family, and she didn't think he was thinking of suicide. A friend of Mr. Kruse's said he passed the Captain as he left the BP Captain's meeting, and Kruse "had a look of horror" on his face.

In the first video below, you'll hear an interview with Allen Kruse, and how the area has survived hurricanes, and tropical storms, yet residents knew they would get past it. Today the future is murky, or worse. Many question if there can be future for these areas where most make their living by tourism and the seafood industry. Take a look at the beach pic above. How often have we seen that? I thought tarballs in Pensacola were the problem. See more of Pensacola beach in the second video. The narrator, apparently a local, ends with "God help us all.

Vartan Gregorian and the Link to Obama and Bill Ayers: Gregorian on WH Fellowships Commission

Those watching Obama's connections to former Weather Underground member, Bill Ayers, knew that Ayers was the link to a completely inexperienced Barack Obama taking charge of The Annenberg Foundation's, Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC). Obama had $100 million, at least, to spend on education in the Chicago area. It was his first shot at leading. He failed miserably. Vartan Gregorian had a front row seat to watch the CAC train wreck, but one year ago, maybe it was payback time, he was appointed to Obama's White House Fellowship Commission.

Vartan Gregorian
This according to WorldNetDaily:
Documentation shows the White House fellow, Vartan Gregorian, was central in [Bill]Ayers' recruitment of Obama to serve as the first chairman of the project, the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, or CAC - a job in which Obama worked closely on a regular basis with Ayers.
Canada Free Press also confirms the WorldNetDaily story as far back as 2008 when letters written in 1994 from Gregorian at Brown University notes Ayers part in forming the CAC board of Directors.

Gregorian was born in Tabriz, Iran to Armenian parents. Today he is president of Carnegie Corp. of New York. He was a president of Brown University and the New York Library. While at Brown, Gregorian served on the selection committee of the Annenberg Foundation. Ayers was one of the founders of the CAC. Gregorian asked Ayers to appoint the governing board with "people who reflect the racial and ethnic diversity of Chicago." It's my guess those ethnicities included no Jews. Mr. Gregorian is on the Board of Directors of Human Rights Watch, which was instrumental in the despicable Goldstone Report accusing Israel of war crimes.

Then Obama with the CAC and Ayers with his Small Schools Workshop set up an office, together, and shared that office for three years. Ayers, the terrorist, is the man who Obama insisted was just "a guy in the neighborhood.

From there Obama and Ayers went on a $100 million dollar spending spree. In the end, both of them were a spectacular failure in their mission to improve education in the Chicago area. Unfortunately for these two opportunists, learning can be measured, and the schools they gave money to had no improvement - all verified by the Annenberg records.

When the money was gone, Annenberg shut it down. But before the till was empty, Bill Ayers and his Small Schools program got a nice share of the money that Barack doled out at Ayers direction.

Knowing all of this, years later in 2009, Vartan Gregorian, along with other notables, sent an open letter Obama asking for 5% of the stimulus for education. Education received $100 billion from the stimulus that glaringly produced no stimulus.

REMINDER OF OBAMA AND THE CAC:

An example of how things worked at the CAC: grants went to the South Shore African Village Collaborative. The 'African Village' spent $150 million on 'rights of passage' (puberty rites), and Kwanzaa celebrations.

At the same time, others were not worthy of grants: The Chicago Algebra Project, with a goal to increase student achievement, The District 5 Math Initiative: goal to aid Hispanic students in the process of learning English and to further learn math and science - not worthy.

Causes supporting ethnic identity were the focus, and the program was a spectacular failure under the Director of the CEO, Barack Obama.

Stanley Kurtz, writing for the National Review OnLine poured through the CAC papers and noted that Obama gave money to others who favored "extremist Afrocentrists who shared his pastor, [Jeremiah] Wright's, anti-Americanism.

Can't help but wonder if Gregorian and Ayers still have contact. Thanks to PoliticiansLie for the video.

McChrystal Leaves White House Without Attending Obama's National Security Meeting

Obama and General Stanley McChrystal met for about 30 minutes this morning. McChrystal left the White House after the meeting, rather than staying for  the President's monthly National Security meeting, beginning at 11 a.m. EDT.  Fox is watching this closely and there are no reports that the General came back to the White House. Surely, the General would not have missed that meeting. Assuming McChrystal is no longer in charge of Afghanistan, I hope he showed up with his resignation in hand.

From Day One of Oil Spill See Obama's Schedule: The Many Ways to Contemplate a Fix for the Oil Spill

I found this video at ConservativePerspective via Amusing Bunni's (who shows you what a real post turtle looks like - you know you want to know). The vid is extremely well done, and makes the point simply. Obama's schedule during the first 38 days of the spill is plainly laid out, including at least six rounds of golf, if he only played 18 each time. It is apparent that there are many ways to contemplate a fix for the Gulf oil spill. See the video below.

Obama's Contemplating Fix for BP Oil Spill at Felipe Calderon Party

There was also time for basketball, the gym, two vacations and numerous White House parties in this 38 days. Felipe Calderon's party was quite a bash. Obama's "stash" paid for it.  Clifton at Another Black Conservative has great commentary and links to more photos. When I say the party must have been extraordinary, this photo might explain:

Time For The Dinosaur To Go!

By Findalis of Monkey in the Middle

There is no love or even like for Israel among the members of the Main Stream Media, but what the supposed Dean of the White House Press Corp, Helen Thomas said went beyond Media Bias and right on to anti-Semitism.

Veteran Hearst newspaper journalist, known as the “dean” of White House reporters, exposed her bias on video by saying that Jews "should get the hell out of Palestine." She apologized for her comments on Saturday, but Jewish and non-Jewish leaders have called on the 89-year-old journalist to “hang up the typewriter” and retire.

Her remarks, along with her grilling of White House Spokesman Robert Gibbs over the flotilla clash last Monday, expose an anti-Israel bias that also was revealed in Associated Press coverage several days ago.

Thomas’ comments, including the statement that Jews should "go back home to Poland, Germany, America and everywhere else," were posted Friday on a YouTube video. She had been asked after the White House Jewish Heritage celebration last Sunday if she had "any comments on Israel."

Thomas, a daughter of Lebanese immigrants, replied to Rabbi David Nesenoff of RabbiLIVE.com, "Tell them to get the hell out of Palestine. Remember, these people are occupied and it's their land. Not Germany. Not Poland."

Asked where the Jews should go, she shot back, "They go home. Poland. Germany. And America and everywhere else."

After the video was posted, Thomas wrote on her web site, “I deeply regret my comments I made last week regarding the Israelis and the Palestinians. They do not reflect my heartfelt belief that peace will come to the Middle East only when all parties recognize the need for mutual respect and tolerance. May that day come soon.

That did not satisfy critics. Beth Gilinsky, head of the Jewish Action Alliance, called for her immediate dismissal. Ari Fleischer, who was White House Press Secretary for former U.S. President George W. Bush, remarked, “She should lose her job over this. As someone who is Jewish, and as someone who worked with her and used to like her, I find this appalling.

"She is advocating religious cleansing. How can Hearst stand by her? If a journalist, or a columnist, said the same thing about blacks or Hispanics, they would already have lost their jobs."

Minnesota Republican Congresswoman Michele Bachmann said,” Once again the liberal media has shown its true colors. The White House media dinosaur, also known as Helen Thomas, has called on Jews to leave Israel and move back to Poland and Germany. This anti-Semitic sentiment has no place in our public discourse. I call upon her employer, [the] Hearst Corporation, to dismiss her at once. The White House needs to revoke her press credentials immediately."

Thomas’ bias was evident in her questioning of White House spokesman Gibbs. “The initial reaction to the flotilla massacre, deliberate massacre, an international crime, was pitiful,” she asserted.

Criticizing the Obama administration for not condemning Israel for the killing of nine terror activists who attacked Israel Navy commandos when the soldiers were virtually unarmed, Thomas added, “What is this sacrosanct ironclad relationship where a country that deliberately kills people and boycotts every aid and abet the boycott?” Gibbs responded, "Well, look, I think the initial reaction regretted the loss of life as we tried and as we still continue to gather the relevant.”

Thomas retorted, “Regret won’t bring them back…. Why didn’t you initially condemn it?... Who put the US in charge of the world?

After the initial Associated Press report of the flotilla clash, the Washington Times exposed AP's bias for immediately jumping to the conclusion that Israel was to blame for the violence.

The AP had reported, "Dozens of activists and six Israeli soldiers were wounded in the bloody predawn confrontation in international waters. The violent takeover dealt yet another blow to Israel's international image.” After two days passed, the news service filed a more neutral report.

The IDF has released a video clip where one of the so called "human rights advocates" on the the flotilla boat that was the scene of the violent confrontation is shouting "Go back to Auschwitz" to the soldiers.
When Don Imus called the Rutgers University women's basketball team "nappy-headed hos"

The uproar cause him to lose his job, even after numerous apologies were made.  There was Al "Kill the Jews" Sharpton and Cynthia "The Jews Cost Me the Election" McKinney screaming in the streets of New York, Maxine Waters held special Congressional Hearings, and every media outlet was out for his blood.

Today we are hearing the outrage over Helen Thomas' remarks from the media:

I am not angry over this, I am furious over this. I am sick and tired of these idiot elites masquerading as journalist spouting out anti-Semitism, then when they start feeling the heat they issue such a bland apology figuring that the hoopla will die down.

Not this time. It is time for Helen Thomas to face the music.  It is time for this senile old bwitch is thrown out of the White House.  Put her out to pasture now!

If you are as  angry as I am, you can contact the Hearts Corporation via their Customer Service Agent:  Lisa Bagley.  Let Ms. Bagley know what you think of Helen Thomas and her employer Hearst.

For the record Ms. Thomas:

The majority of Jews in ISRAEL come from Arab nations not Europe.  They were forced out of those lands between 1949 and 1955.

The answer to this question is:
Who put the US in charge of the world?
The world did.  It is the US they turn to when they are in trouble.

The Obama Mystique: Why it is all a Joke. McCartney, too

Another party in the White House and Sir Paul McCartney was the star, but on this evening "Sir" did not fit his rude and inane behavior. The Obama's presented McCartney with the Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. The whole scene is just too delicious: The Obamas surrounded by, and being serenaded by, some of the biggest names in the music industry - no captain's of industry, of course - none of those in the Obama White House. No one there really making the country run. No one there creating jobs. No one there manufacturing anything tangible.  Perhaps no one there with an over-sized I.Q. but the Obama mystique was as thick as an oil spill.

George W. Bush

Adding to the mystique, Michelle wore a dress in silk satin silk (the pool reporter wasn't certain, but it looks like silk to me) charmeuse in a shade of "blush, with a jeweled belt, and here it is - the chicest touch: as The First Lady "sat, a pink petticoat peeked out. The adoration was palpable, and McCartney was soon to show his rear-end, and his I.Q. See two videos below.

Standing inside our White House, McCartney said this:
After the last eight years, it's great to have a President who knows what a library is
In the video, Jerry Seinfeld is standing in the White House right next to McCartney. Anyone know why the taxpayers should be wining and dining Jerry Seinfield? Stevie Wonder was there...again. Faith Hill (she's a Liberal folks), Elvis Costello and Emmy Lou Harris were there. The bright spot of the evening (because it is always about the Obama's) was Paul serenading Michelle with "Mee-shelll."

Rep. John Boehner (R-OH) replied about the G.W. comment:
Like millions of other Americans, I have always had a good impression of Paul McCartney and thought of him as a classy guy, but I was surprised and disappointed by the lack of grace and respect he displayed at the White House. I hope he'll apologize to the American people for his conduct which demeaned him, the White House and President Obama.
Connie Hair, writing at Human Events, leveled her site:
McCartney is the third recipient of the Gershwin Prize. Hailing from England and having earned no university degrees of his own, the Beatle may not know W. as the first American president to earn a master's degree in business administration. (The fact the MBA is from Harvard really irks the left.) Not to mention Bush is married to a librarian.
G.W. was the first and only President to hold an MBA. He also received a BA in History from Yale. Lord knows, we could use some knowledge of business and true history in the White House.

From Thomas Lifson at American Thinker, speaking of the Left's fondness for denigrating W.'s education and/or ability to learn:
Having attended Harvard Business School at the same time as the President, graduating from the two—year program a year after he did, and then serving on its faculty after a year's interval spent writing a PhD thesis, I am intimately familiar with the rigors of the program at the time, and the minuscule degree of slack cut for even the most well—connected students, when their performance did not make the grade.
There is simply no way on earth that the son of the then—Ambassador to China (technically, head of the Beijing Liaison Office), or anyone else, could have coasted through Harvard Business School with a 'gentleman's C.' I never, ever heard of a case of an incompetent student being allowed to graduate, simply because a certain family was prominent. On the contrary, I did hear stories of well—born students having to leave prior to graduation. The academic standards were a point of considerable pride.
Hopeful Liberals can only estimate Barack Obama's intelligence "quotient," his SAT, LSAT score and his college GPA. We hear a lot of very high numbers, making Liberals go all misty-eyed and weak-kneed at thought of the capabilities of his pristine half-African brain...but there nothing - not one single thing to base it on. It's all myth, as are his policies, which have yielded nothing for this country. All of his records - that's ALL of his records, are hidden from the public. An inquiring mind would wonder why. If they were stellar, they would not be hidden. But that doesn't stop Progressives from telling us that Obama would be a member of MENSA if he provided the pertinent records and surely his IQ is in the 130 to 145 range. It's all myth.

They don't stop there. There is no information on Michelle's scores either, but this website, which writes for our gullible children, says "it is safe to say that she is just as smart as her husband." Personally, I have no doubt of that. I "doubt" plenty, but do not doubt that the two share similar brains - but don't forget, Barack gets the benefit of "the other side of Valerie Jarrett's brain (his Senior Adviser).

Obama received a J.D. from Harvard Law. He surrendered his law license. His hometown paper, the Chicago Tribune, says as a civil rights lawyer, Obama was the "strong, silent type."
A review of the cases Obama worked on during his brief legal career shows he played the "strong, silent type" in court, introducing himself and his client, then stepping aside to let other lawyers do the talking.
Transcripts show that at court hearings, Obama identified himself, then let [Paul] Mollica begin speaking. Maria Valdez of the Mexican-American Legal Defense and Education Fund sometimes spoke. The U.S. Justice Department joined in.
Letting the heavy-hitters at the Justice Department make the arguments appears to have been a sound strategy -- Obama's side won, even without him talking.
Odd, because the man hasn't shut-up since the day he won the presidential nomination.
"I was one of the better writers [Obama said]. I ended up doing the more cerebral writing, less trial work," Obama added. "That's actually something I regret -- not doing more trial work."
"He wrote lots of substantial memos, but he didn't try any cases," said Judson Miner, a partner in the firm who was Obama's boss.
A search of all the cases in Cook County Circuit Court in which Obama made an appearance since he graduated from Harvard in 1991 shows: Zero.
His practice was confined mainly to federal court in Chicago, where he made formal appearances in only five district court cases and another five in cases before the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals -- a total of 10 cases in his legal career.
Obama sued on behalf of ACORN for Motor-Voter registration. For this, he is idolized today:
Transcripts show that at court hearings, Obama identified himself, then let [Paul] Mollica begin speaking. Maria Valdez of the Mexican-American Legal Defense and Education Fund sometimes spoke. The U.S. Justice Department joined in.
Letting the heavy-hitters at the Justice Department make the arguments appears to have been a sound strategy -- Obama's side won, even without him talking.
Among Bush's finest attributes - he is not a lawyer. Among Obama's finest attributes, he's tall. Among McCartney's finest attribute: Penning Let it Be.

Elena Kagen Memos in Clinton White House to be Held by Obama Admin

No surprise here. The Obama administration believes they can withhold evidence at any time. No different in the confirmation of a Supreme Court nominee - always one of the most important events in the governing of our Republic. This time, the Judiciary Committee is requesting the memos of Supreme Court nominee, Elena Kagen, written while serving in the Clinton White House.

Elena Kagen

Obama and Bill are getting together to decide which documents to block. Obama's personal counsel, Robert Bauer, suggested the Judiciary Committee request the documents under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). Republicans say that is "bizarre:"
...because...the Judiciary Committee's request is privileged, unlike a FOIA request. In other words, while Clinton can block the release of documents requested under FOIA, he can't block documents requested by the Committee....
Republicans also believe that between Bauer's statements and those of the White House, the plan might be to dump "hundreds of thousands of pages of documents as late as June 27, the day before the hearing...." Republicans, as the minority party, cannot reschedule the hearings, and apparently Democrats don't care what Kagen wrote, believed or believes.
A final issue of dispute regards whether Clinton retains authority to assert executive privilege over the documents. Under Executive Order 13489, enacted by Obama, only Obama can asset executive privilege to block the documents.
Kagen's paper-trail is almost non-existent, so the Clinton documents might lend the only insight into the beliefs of Elena Kagen.

Rahm Emanuel Directed Bill Clinton to Offer Joe Sestak a Job

A bribe via Rahm Emanuel, via former President Bill Clinton: If Sestak is smart, he will come clean, quickly and face the consequences, which will be few if he steps up now. I understand a Sestak press conference is imminent. The thing to remember is that the prize for the White House was moving Sestak aside to give Sen. Arlen Specter a chance to retain his senate seat from Pennsylvania (and vote for every Obama initiative). Every Pennsylvanian should be outraged. Updates as available, and after Sestak's presser. See updates below.

Barack Obama with Bill Clinton and Rahm Emanuel

A bribe via Rahm Emanuel, via former President Bill Clinton: If Sestak is smart, he will come clean, quickly and face the consequences, which will be few if he steps up now. I understand a Sestak press conference is imminent. The thing to remember is that the prize for the White House was moving Sestak aside to give Sen. Arlen Specter a chance to retain his senate seat from Pennsylvania (and vote for every Obama initiative). Every Pennsylvanian should be outraged. Updates as available, and after Sestak's presser. See updates below.

If Rahm Emanuel was involved as Greg Sargent at The Plum Line is reporting, we know that Obama had his Chicago hands all over it:
But the news that Clinton is at the center of this whole story is noteworthy on its own because of the former president's stature, and underscores how heavily invested the White House was in dissuading Sestak from running. The White House sent Clinton to talk to Sestak because Arlen Specter, constituting the 60th Dem vote in the Senate, was viewed as key to enacting Obama's agenda.
Can it get any uglier than a former President doing this? Can you imagine George W. Bush offering a bribe like this - or any bribe for that matter?

Update 11:40 a.m.
From White House Counsel Robert Bauer via Fox News' Major Garrett from a White House Report:

White House key points, from Bauer (paraphrased):
1) There were "factual errors" in reporting
2) Sestak was not offered the job of Secretary of the Navy
3) At no time did Sestak seek the job of Secretary of the Navy
4) The offer was of uncompensated advisory board options
5) One option was for Sestak to stay in the house, and serve on advisory positions to President without compensation.
6) White House staff did not discuss the options with Sestak
7)Emanuel talked to Clinton about optional positions to offer
8) Nothing nefarious about it, and other administratons have done the same thing.

Just minutes ago [11:42 a.m.],  Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) was on Fox News and said the "Statute" says that nothing of value can be legally offered, either  directly or indirectly, He also said Sestak has said that the White House had conversations with his [Sestak's] brother, who is his campaign manager

Update 1:00 p.m. EDT:
So, the White House and Sestak have their story worked out on Friday afternoon before Memorial Day weekend - what a classy bunch - absolutely not respect for American voters:
Sestak has issued a statement, but I'm not yet finding it on line. Originally, Sestak said Clinton/Rahm Emanuel offered him a" job, not an "advisory position." Today's story from Sestak, however,  says he was only offered a position on a presidential board, with no compensation, while remaining a U.S. Representative in the House.

Former Attorney General Michael Mukasey on FOX said "this is politics as usual." To that comment, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) said if that is true, let it stop now, and he said he would stop it! Mukasey said this would only break one of the statutes if the offer was for a position created by Congress, such as Secretary of Navy. Others are seeing it differently.

Issa Calls for Ethics Probe: Bob Bauer Behind Obama-Sestak Stonewall

White House attorney Robert Bauer, the husband of former White House Communications Director and  Maoist- philosophy admirer, Anita Dunn, is fingered by Michelle Malkin as complicit in the Sestak stonewall.

Bob Bauer and Anita Dunn

Attorney General Eric Holder was questioned in the U.S. House by Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) last week, about Sestak's claim that someone in the White House offered Sestak a job in exchange for  dropping out of his Democrat senate race against party-jumper Arlen Specter (D-PA) (who lost his primary to Sestak). Malkin says Holder told Issa he would not address "hypotheticals," and Malkin claims Holder was simply following orders from Bob Bauer, Obama's "personal lawyer and Democratic Party legal boss."
You see, on March 10, Issa also sent a letter to Bauer, the White House counsel to the president, requesting specifics: Did White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel contact Sestak? Did White House Deputy Chief of Staff Jim Messina (whom another Democrat, U.S. Senate candidate Andrew Romanoff, has accused of offering a cabinet position in exchange for his withdrawal)? How about the White House Office of Political Affairs? Any other individuals? What position(s) was/were offered in exchange for Sestak’s withdrawal? And what, if any, steps did Bauer take to investigate possible criminal activity?...
But the laws governing such public corruption are still on the books. And unlike Gibbs [Obama press secretary], the U.S. code governing bribery, graft and conflicts of interest is rather straightforward: “Whoever solicits or receives … any … thing of value, in consideration of the promise of support or use of influence in obtaining for any person any appointive office or place under the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both.”
Read the entire story at Michelle Malkin.

Rep. Joe Sestak (D-PA), once-upon-a-time furious with the White House for trying to move him out of the Senate race, told the press months ago that he was offered a job by the Obama administration. Then he clammed up and refused to tell "who" or "what," although he has not wavered sin. Problem is, he isn't saying who offered him another job, or what the job was, although there are speculations that Admiral Sestak may have been offered the Secretary of the Navy position. Now Sestak faces the possibility of a House Ethics probe because he did not report the decidedly illegal job offer to House leaders. The bottomline: Sestak is guilty either way: guilty as a member of the U.S. Congress not reporting an illegal act, or guilty of lying.

Former Clinton White House advisor, Dick Morris says this is possibly an impeachable offense.
This scandal could be enormous...It's Valerie Plame only 10 times bigger, because it's illegal and Joe Sestak is either lying or the White House committed a crime."
Obviously, the offer of a significant job in the White House could not be made unless it was by Rahm Emanue or cleared with Rahm Emanuel, [said Morris on the Sean Hannity Show]. If the job offer was high enough that it also had Obama's approval, "that is a high crime and misdemeanor."
In other words, an impeachable offense? Hannity asked. "Absolutely," said Morris

Obamas quiet outreach to Muslims not so quiet

The New York Times headline is Reaching Out Quietly to Muslims in America, speaking of Obama. Who are they kidding? What better outreach than to help Muslims destroy Israel. Muslims must see Obama's treatment of Israel as a great, gigantic leap for anyone adhering to the Koran. See two videos below.

I believe in diversity. It is Islam that does not believe in diversity - or at least, thus far, no one has explained how they ignore the teachings of their Holy book. Does anyone really think Americans would be so distrusting of Muslims if the Koran didn't wish us dead? That's what 9/11 did. It gave us a clue. Until then, we weren't paying attention.

According to the NYT, way down below the fold:

While the administration's solicitation of Muslims and Arab-Americans has drawn little fanfare, it has not escaped criticism. A small but vocal group of research analysts, bloggers and others complain that the government is reaching out to Muslim leaders and organizations with an Islamist agenda or ties to extremist groups abroad.
We are paying attention.

I do not think all Muslims want to kill us (but I'm not sure how they feel about the Jews). I don't even think most want to kill us, but since most Muslims will never be tested by their faith, we will never know. Neither will they. We just bide our time waiting to see who comes after us.

I don't care that the Koran does not accept infidels. I do not care that they think we must believe as they do to make it to heaven. I do care that they think we should be dead. As Bill Clinton told us this week, words have consequences. The Koran has consequences.

There are numerous Muslims already working in the White House, and Obama is armed with a book of 45 Muslim resumes of "the nation's most qualified -- Ivy League grads, Fortune 500 executives and public servants, all carefully vetted...." Do you know who the most influential Muslim is, with exclusive access to our President? Read about it here and here.

So cut the crap. There is nothing subtle about Obama's outreach. Take a look at this press release from The White House, and every time you see the word "Muslim," substitute the world "Jew." Can you see this ever happening?

WorldNetDaily Sues White House Correspondents Association

WorldNetDaily purchased three tables from the White House Correspondents' Association for dinner at the association's annual banquet in Washington, D.C., but has been informed that it will not get three tables. It will get three seats. WND is suing. Arianna Huffington of the Huffingpost found herself in the same situation. She request three tables. Was denied two of them, but the the WHCA relented, and Arianna got her way. No so for WND's Joseph Farah. Perhaps Farah needs to rethink his guest list: Arianna has 'the' to-die-for-list bringing former White House Social Secretary Desiree Rogers, and oh goody, actors Scarlett Johannson and John Cusak, and gulp...does it get any bigger than this? Bill Maher.

WorldNetDaily's Joseph Farah

WorldNetDaily's lawsuit says they have been given access to "at least one table" in past administrations. The online news source, and a pain in the backends of Liberals, claim they were among the first to purchase their tables, and were led to believe they would get three tables.
This year, in anticipation of the event, which will take place on May 1, 2010, WND tendered $6,750 USD for three tables. However, the WHCA cashed only one of the checks, number 13662, for one table...The amount of the check is $2,250.00 USD. Accordingly, WHCA accepted WND's offer to buy at least one table for the event."
Remember when the White House tried to bar Major Garrett, a Fox News reporter from a press pool event? Members of the MSM came to the rescue and said if Fox was not admitted, they would not cover the event. I don't see ABC, NBC or CBS coming to the defense of WorldNetDaily, which says its online readership has reached 8 million.

Joseph Farah, founder and CEO of WND, says the White House Correspondents dinner is not just a social event. "It is a news event," and he accuses the White House press corps of playing the role of "palace" guards.
We're one of the fastest growing news organizations in the country, while most of our competitors are shrinking. Yet, many of them are getting up six, seven, eight tables.
We'll see what happens with this lawsuit. The best way for the MSM to thwart WND is to keep the lawsuit lingering past May 1st.

Babies Vaccinated with Pig Virus

The bad news is the Rotarix vaccine is contaminated with a pig virus. The good news is, the FDA says pig virus probably won't harm your bay. No definitive word on how many contaminated vaccines were given, but the article does day about 1 million children in the U.S. have gotten Rotarix. The Rota Teq vaccine is considered safe, according to FDA officials.

The contamination was only found after an academic research team devised a technique to look for viruses in vaccines - found this one and notified the maker, GlaxoSmithKline. Maybe we can avoid dangerous vaccinations and other questionable medical procedures like this in our health care if we send the whole process through the Obama White House for approval. We need someone looking out for us, and obviously, the FDA can't do it. Oh...what...you say vaccines will be blessed by the Oval Office now that health care reform has passed? Well, I should have known it.

Health Care: Stopping at the Constitution - Not the White House - Not Congress

Lawsuits are in the works for filing against the Senate health care bill passed by the House on March 22,  and by the Senate on Christmas Eve 2009. Forget the staggering costs of the legislation that will drive this country to its knees and diminish the care Americans receive. The buck stops at the U.S. Constitution. If the person(s) sworn to the official oath fail to uphold it, citizens must act, and to do so, we must understand why we have a challenge, and be able to voice it to the Liberals in our midst - if any.

Stopping at the Constitution, not the White House, not Congress

I first wrote about this in December, before the Senate bill was passed. This minute, Brit Hume is on O'Reilly discussing the Commerce Clause. Why wasn't this shouted everywhere - early and often? Why wait until today, after the bill is passed? Now Bernie Goldberg is on the factor, patiently explaining that health care for Liberals is a moral issue, but is an economic issue with Conservatives. How about starting with the Constitution and working our down to the economics? Drives me crazy.

The consequences if this law is upheld by the Supreme Court, are daunting:
Congress would have the unlimited power to regulate, prohibit, or mandate any or all activities in the United States. Such a doctrine would abolish any limit on federal power and alter the fundamental relationship of the national government to the states and the people.
Pelosi, et al claims the power to mandate our health care through the U.S. Constitution's Commerce Clause. Article 1, Section 8, grants Congress the power to:
"[t]o regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian tribes."
The Congressional Research Service has acknowledged that the mandate to individuals to buy health insurance may not be constitutional, because it is a "novel issue," meaning "unprecedented." This country has never before mandated individuals to purchase a thing, under penalty of imprisonment or fine if you choose to do nothing.

The argument often used that we are mandated to buy auto insurance does not address the new health care law being signed on Tuesday, March 23rd. You can choose to drive, or not. If you choose to drive, you buy auto insurance or you pay the penalty when you have an accident.

Mandated health insurance is different. There is no choice. We buy it, or we pay a penalty accessed through the IRS. If we choose not to purchase health care, and we are penalized with imprisonment or a monetary fine, it will be the first time citizens have been punished for taking no action, whatsoever.

Think about that. We do nothing, and yet we can be imprisoned or fined. We are mandated to buy health care because that is the only way the Obama administration can raise the money to cover everyone in the United States. Think again. You will be imprisoned or fined for taking no action.

Extraordinary.

The powers of Congress under the Commerce Clause, according to the U.S. Supreme Court are:
(1) Congress may regulate the "channels of interstate or foreign commence". This includes the regulation of steamship, railroad, highway or aircraft transportation.
(2) Congress may regulate and protect "the destruction of aircraft, or persons or things in commerce. An example is "thefts from interstate shipments."
(3) Congress may regulate economic activities that "substantially affect interstate commerce.
Mandating individual health insurance must fall into one of the three categories of regulation above. The first two are not a possible fit: we are not steamships, railroad, highways or aircraft transportation. We don't even have the power to buy insurance across state lines. Health care has nothing to do with No. 1.

Mandating individual health insurance has nothing to do with No. 2.

Congress is relying on No. 3 to make it constitutional to issue the mandate.

But, when Congress wishes to apply the Commerce Clause, they must answer this question: "what class of activity is Congress seeking to regulate?" In this case, their answer is No. 3, but:
...the health care mandate does not purpose to regulate or prohibit activity of any kind, whether economic or noneconomic. To the contrary, it purports to "regulate" inactivity.
According to the Heritage Foundation, the Senate bill that just passed the House says:
"the individual responsibility requirement...is commercial and economic in nature, and substantially affects interstate commerce...
and further:
...the statute purports to convert inactivity into a class of activity. By its own plain terms, the individual mandate provision regulates the absence of action.
We choose not to buy health insurance, and by that choice Congress says we have participated in an activity that affects interstate commerce. A court must conclude that our failure to buy is economic in nature.

Congress can choose to regulate the health insurance industry, but the Heritage Foundation, and other attorneys say the mandate to buy cannot be regulated...without creating a new Constitutional Doctrine. If that is true, it won't be easy to do so.

If court challenges make it to the U.S. Supreme Court, and SCOTUS upholds Congress, and we must accept a mandate, then we have been subjected to "federal control by virtue of the fact that the individual merely resides within the borders of the United States. It will be the first time in the history of the Nation that the Commerce Clause has yielded an action on every single person in the country. Congress will have gained unlimited power.

Unprecedented!

Once again: Congress will have gained unlimited power.

Congress would have the unlimited power to regulate, prohibit, or mandate any or all activities in the United States. Such a doctrine would abolish any limit on federal power and alter the fundamental relationship of the national government to the states and the people.

The Heritage Foundation gives the following examples of how interestate commerce has not been used in the past, and we should ask why we should allow Congress to perpetrate this power grab now - and understand, if we do give them power of the health care mandate, the can do all of the following:
Even in wartime, when the production of materiel is crucial to national survival, Congress has never claimed such a power.
For example, during World War II, no farmer was forced to grow food for the troops; no worker was forced to build tanks.
While the federal government encouraged the public to buy its bonds to finance the war effort, it never mandated they do so.
While Congress levied a military draft, it did so as necessary and proper to its enumerated power in Article I, sec. 8 "to raise and support armies," not its commerce power.
What Congress did not and cannot do during a wartime emergency, with national survival at stake, it cannot do in peacetime simply to avoid the political cost of raising taxes to pay for new government programs....
Simply because Congress can regulate wheat production under the Agricultural Adjustment Act does not entail that Congress can require every American to buy boxes of Shredded Wheat cereal on the grounds that, by not buying wheat cereal, non-consumers were adversely affecting the regulated wheat market.
