GW Bush Slams the Ball Home at World Series

Former President G. W. Bush threw out the first pitch of Game 4 at the World Series, and while the final result is difficult for me to see just how perfect the pitch was, you can hear Nolan Ryan walk up and say "nice going." For further verification, Gateway Pundit says it was "a strike to home plate," with Ryan catching, and Karen at The Lonely Conservative declaring it "perfect - right over the plate.

George W. Bush

Take a look at how easy this was for G.W. and then remember this and this from King Charlie?

Bush 41 - Bush 43 at World Series - GW throws a perfect pitch (video)

I just posted some information on G. W.'s book and 9/11. Read it here.

Jeb Bush Blasts GW Bashers: Good God Man Read a Book!

President G. W. Bush's brother Jeb, the former governor of Florida is finally...finally taking exception to Obama's continual bashing of older brother George.

Jeb Bush

Jeb said Obama's remarks are "childish," and shows his lack of maturity and habit of never accepting responsibility. JB suggested Obama is so caught up in listening to and listening for stories about himself, that he does little else:
“I mean, good God, man, read a book!” Mr. Bush said with a laugh. “Go watch ESPN!”
I think Jeb has this one a bit wrong, although I agree that BO is thoroughly immersed in himself, I believe he watches plenty of ESPN when he should be preparing for the important matters of the nation - like maybe, that Spring meeting when General McChrystal accused Obama of not being prepared.
“By and large, I think the president, instead of being a 21st-century leader, is Hubert Humphries on steroids,” Mr. Bush said. “I don’t think there’s much newness in spending more money as the solution to every problem.”
“The issue to me is what we do now,” Jeb Bush said. “Who cares who’s to blame?”
Now maybe GHW and Barbara Bush will follow their youngest son's lead and speak out about the slanderous GW talk coming from this administration - and while they're at it, perhaps they will invite Bill and Hillary to not come sniffing around for their far-too many charitable photo ops.

George H.W. Bush Keith Olbermann: George H.W. Bush Rachel Maddow: 41 Names Names

Honestly, isn't it about time George H. W. Bush named some names? He named Rachel Maddow and Keith Olberman, and tagged them "sick puppies." I'm liking it. I wish he had added Bill Clinton to the litter. See video below.

Thanks to Lonely Conservative.

George H. W. Bush - Rachel Maddow - Keith Olberman (video)

I thought the teaming of the two past presidents, G.H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton, to raise funds and awareness for very worthy philanthropic missions, like Hurricane Katrina, and the 2004 Tsunami, the embodiment of all that America is about, but 41 seemed so genuinely fond of 42 that it became nauseating after awhile. Clinton never really returned the affection or the compliments in full measure, and more than once publicly criticized the sitting president,  George W. Bush, who  always looked a bit like an intruder when the elders got together.  I wanted 41 to be friendly without being so chummy. It should be noted that 43 refused to utter a word of criticism about the Clintons.

Now that G. W. Bush is back home in Texas, he and Clinton, who G. W. says his mother treats as her son, are pairing up to take on national and international politics. Maybe 43 is filling-in because "Dad" can't get around so well these days - and of course, there is the money.  In May, former Presidents G. W. Bush and William Jefferson Clinton took the stage in Toronto. In the meantime, this week in fact, Clinton's wife Hillary carries on the blame-game for her husband. In February 2010 the "Presidents" will speak at the TD Ameritrade national conference. Looks like this will be a regularly appearing duo.

Al Gore Video on Saddam Hussein's Terrorism

Trackback URL for this entry: http://haloscan.com/tb/maggiesnotebook/3480113520192134686 H/T to Rush Limbaugh Here's a lead-in to the Clinton-Gore Presidency. Listen as Al Gore campaigns against a weak-on-terrorism George H.W. Bush presidency. Referring to Saddam Hussein's human rights offenses, his acts of terrorism, and affiliations with terrorists, as "the murderous ambitions of a despot," Gore campaigned on the lack of action taken by the administration which was to precede his. Gore acknowledged that Saddam Hussein was a ruthless and brutal dictator, that Iraq was a "nation with a record of terrorism," and that the CIA, the Defense Department, the State Department, the Justice Department, the Energy Department, the Commerce Department and "other agencies throughout the government" notified Bush 41's people that Iraq was "clandestinely procuring nuclear weapons technology through a global network of front companies." Comes January 1993...four months after the speech in this video; Clinton and Gore are sworn-in to our highest offices, with confirmed knowledge that you and I could not know...then in February 1993, one month after the Clinton-Gore inauguration, the 1st World Trade Tower bombing occurred, June 1996 the Khobar Towers were bombed, October 2000 the USS Cole was bombed. What did the Clinton-Gore team do in the ensuing 8 years to protect us from Saddam Hussein and his terrorism ties? Nothing. That's the answer. Nothing!
