John Dennis is challenging Nancy Pelosi for her House seat. No one seems to think he has a chance, yet SF Weekly says "he'getting there." The video below is a FilmLadd production, and a take-off of A Few Good Men, which Pelosi has none of so, A Few Good Debts titled the video perfectly.
An internal poll conducted over the summertime revealed that roughly 35 percent of local Democrats and Independents were fed up with Pelosi's leadership. That led SF Weekly to do some math.
Pelsoi was re-elected last year with 220,000 votes, or 71 percent of the vote (next runner-up Cindy Sheehan received 46,000 votes, or 16 percent). If 35 percent of Democrats who supported Pelosi did abandon her and vote for Dennis, that'd be another 75,000 votes. So if they all voted for Dennis, that'd be 121,000 votes to Pelosi's 150,000.
Keep in mind that former Board of Supervisors president Matt Gonzalez endorsed John Dennis, as did Sheehan. That's getting there... but even all this is a stretch...
Dennis is not the kind of candidate conservatives describe as "conservative," but he is a businessman, and an entrepreneur - hopefully favorable to business and 'real' jobs. We need as many jobs-maker as we can get in the House. We can worry about the rest later.
Rome wasn't built in a day. Perhaps this race is a precursor to November 2012. Dennis has done a great job and who knows? I expect that Pelosi owns the press, and if Dennis was hotter than a pistol, I doubt we'd know about it.

Karen at The Lonely Conservative has received information, that if true, begs the question: how far is too far for Democrats? She has been energetically working, through her blog, for Ann Marie Buerkle's campaign for Congress in NY-25.
Ann Marie Buerkle
Dan Maffei
Karen received information today that at least two donors to Buerkle's campaign were contacted by Democrat opponent, Dan Maffei, or his "people," asking why they donated to Ann Marie Buerkle.
The Lonely Conservative is asking some questions of her own, and you might be able to answer some of them. Please visit her, and if have you have some pertinent information, or past experiences - wherever you are located, please think about sharing it with her. Is Dan Maffei's Campaign Intimidating Donors?

There is new smear on Allen West for support from The Outlaws Motorcycle Club (AOA). Retired Lt. Col. West is vying to take Democrat incumbent Ron Klein's congressional seat in Florida's 22nd District . The Outlaws support the Colonel. They are arch-enemies of Hells Angels. Both clubs have members in prison.
Allen West
But here's the thing about The Outlaw's support of Allen West: West is a patriot, he reveres the U.S. Constitution and he talks about it. He reveres our Republic and our democracy, and he talks about it. If the Outlaws are supporting West, then they must also support the same. If the Outlaws are ruthless and involved in criminal activity, our laws will deal with them, but apparently the Outlaws that West has had contact with are free citizens of the U.S. They are free to vote, and I believe they will not vote twice, will not vote a non-voter's vote, and will not sign-up illegals and escort them to the polls - all of which Liberals engage in in every election year. See a video below.
Infamously, if you are a Liberal, and famously if you are a Conservative, West gave a belligerent Iraqi civilian police office the opportunity to tell him who was killing soldiers:
After about 20 more minutes of useless questioning, West grabbed the man, held him down near a box full of sand used to discharge jammed weapons, and said something like, "This is it. I'm going to count to five again, and if you don't give me what I want, I'm going to kill you." West held the man down, counted to five, and then fired his pistol into the discharging box about a foot from the Iraqi's head. He began talking. Over the next few minutes, the prisoner gave very specific information about the plot. He named the conspirators, gave times and dates of the assassination plan, and even described how attacks would be made.
After the Iraqi talked, there were no more attacks on U.S. forces. For this, Lt. Col. West was relieved of this campaign:
He was told he would go through an Article 32, which is about the same as a Grand Jury hearing. At the hearing he was asked if he would do the same thing again. West replied "if it's about the lives of my men and their safety, I'd go through hell with a gasoline can."Congress sent a letter to the Secretary of the Army in support of him with 95 signatories.
The video below is West talking about the incident in Iraq. View the NBC video of West talking about the Outlaws here. Michelle Malkin has an interesting take on this story here. Thanks to The Blaze.
Republican Renee Ellmers is trying to replace bad-tempered, man-handler Congressman Bob Etheridge in North Carolina's 2nd District. Etheridge has a million dollar war-chest. The Democrat party is desperate to send Etheridge back to Congress where he has, and will, continue to support their big-spending policies. Ellmers' End the Stranglehold campaign is underway. See two videos below.
Ellmers has the endorsement of Sarah Palin. She is a nurse, her husband is a physician and they own and operate a medical clinic - making small business and tax-burdens high on the Ellmer's list of concerns.
Renee is a solid constitutional conservative. She needs your help now. Can you donate? Will you donate to provide a moneybomb for Renee? This is one of our most important congressional races. There is nothing moderate about Bob Etheridge; in fact, he supported Pelosi and Obama 97 percent of the time. The second video below shows exactly who Bob Etheridge is.
Aug. 25–DUNN — Her campaign headquarters is an unfurnished, sparsely decorated brick home just blocks from downtown Dunn. Her office is dimly lit, mostly bare and features a photo of her standing with Elizabeth Dole and Laura Bush. And on this particular day, she’s dressed in jeans and a casual shirt, arriving to work for another day of campaigning and meeting voters....
The health care issue is a two-fold issue for me and my husband, because we’re small business owners, and it hits us from a small business standpoint. But it also hits us from the medical side of it, which we knew would be devastating to the company and devastating to medicine here in our country — moving toward a more socialistic style of health care. And we’ve already seen some of the changes that are coming out that are not good.
The interviewer asked Ellmers what issues she would like to debate her opponent, Bob Etheridge, about. You will applaud her answer:
I’d like to talk about jobs and the stimulus package that he voted for … all the things he’s voted for in the past year, which he’s claimed will bring us jobs. It has not done a thing … the only jobs that have been created from that stimulus package are government jobs. There have been no private sector jobs created, and our economy is in jeopardy and has not moved forward.
So many of us are not active in supporting candidates monetarily. We think our hard-earned money should go to the candidates in our home states, but today we know "politics" are no longer local. Be assured that a congressman's vote in North Carolina will affect your family, children and grandchildren in Michigan, Colorado or Hawaii.
The new Ten Buck Friday (TBF) poll is up. At this minute, Renee Ellmers, a newly-endorsed Mama Grizzlie by Sarah Palin, is in the lead. Ellmers is running against Bad-Tempered Bob Etheridge - the North Carolinian District 2 Democrat who was more than a tad annoyed when two college students wanted an interview. He roughed one up a bit, but only because the student was too polite to level his elder to the sidewalk. You can see that video below.
We have a great slate of candidates. You can find information on each candidate below, courtesy of RightKlik.
If donating to a candidate outside of your state seems ridiculous, consider this: "politics" are no longer local. Every Democrat vote across the country affects you in Des Moines, your sister in Dallas or my family in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
We must fund these constitutional conservatives. Most of them are not well-known. Most are running against very established Democrats. These candidates are rising from obscurity to help us take back the House and the Senate. We must be involved in their fundraising.
Every $10 donation counts toward victory. Please make a donation, no matter how small. Join us in a weekly donation by giving up your Starbucks and putting that money toward the election of a conservative candidate. Participating Ten Buck Friday bloggers thank you in advance for your donations. A new winner is announced each Friday.
You can vote on any poll on on any participating blog. All votes are cumulative.
Joel Demos is running for the U.S. House seat for Minnesota's 5th Congressional District. In my opinion, this is one of the most important races in country. Demos is challenging incumbent Muslim congressman, Keith Ellison (D-Minn-5th). See a video below.
Joel and Jenny Demos and Family
Joel is especially concerned about rising taxes and the "engine" of small business owners. He wants health care reform, but wants an affordable program that does not decrease the quality of care for Americans. He is a fiscal conservative with a background in the financial sector in banking, lending and real estate. Read more about Joel on The Issues here.
The incumbent, Keith Ellison, on the other hand, is a "far-left" Progressive, and keeping with the Democrat mantra, has never met an entitlement he didn't like. He voted with Democrats 96.9 percent of the time.
Demos has a mountain to climb in this race, as Ellison received almost 71 percent of the vote in the 2008 election. Ellison is the first Muslim elected to Congress, followed by Rep. Andre Carson (D-IN-7th).
Ellison converted to Islam at age 19. He is supported by Louis Farrakhan's Nation of Islam, and has close associations to the Counsel on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the Muslim-American Society (MSA), the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), the Muslim Brotherhood and the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT). Read details of these Islamic connections here.
Ellison also writes under the alias "Keith Hakim." He evaded paying income taxes for five years - had liens placed on his property and eventually paid $25,000 to settle the tax evasion. He failed to pay parking tickets and moving violations and had his driver's license suspended "multiple" times. Still yet, he won a seat in the People's House. Read about Ellison at DiscoverTheNetworks.
Joe Demos has received the important endorsement of conservative Governor Tim Pawlenty's Freedom First Political Action Committee and the GOP.
Demos is married to Jenny, and they have two small children. His parents were American missionaries. His grandmother was the Mayor of Roseville, Minnesota for ten years. His grandfather served in the Korean War and World War II.
As I said, this is an important race. Keith Ellison has traveled to Saudi Arabia for the Hajj with a trip paid for by the Muslim Brotherhood. There is nothing about Islam that is Democratic or appreciative of a people's Republic.
Be comforted that a donation to Joel Demos will be an important step in removing Keith Ellison from Congress. Demos is a worthy conservative candidate, but he cannot do it without financing. Remember things have changed: "politics" are no longer local. Every Democrat vote across the country affects you in Des Moines, your sister in Dallas or my family in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
