The video is by Ladd Ehlinger, Jr. (New York Times), with Stacy McCain and DaTechGuy hanging out. The NYT actually had some very nice things to say about Sean Bielat, the former Marine who is attempting to send Congressman Barney Frank home to Massachusetts (along with his rude boyfriend). 

There's a great story, actually caught on video, of the dancing "Barney" in front of a green screen. You want to see it. The Other McCain has the story, and DaTechGuy has the green screen video.

Sean Bielat is vying for Frank's House seat for Massachusetts' District 4. There are many reasons to sack Barney. Chief among them? Frank is the prime instigator of the Housing Meltdown, and don't let anyone tell you differently without doing your own homework. 

Frank engineered a program known as the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA). He and a cohort, through the authority of Congress, forced lenders to make mortgages with no down payment, no credit checks, no jobs. If you wanted a house, you deserved it, and Barney, by God, would get one for you.

Vast numbers of homeowners were selling, and vast numbers of unqualified people were buying what they could not afford. Sellers were flying high...prices moved unrealistically upward - all across the Nation. Appraisals meant nothing. Thousands owned homes they could not afford, long before home prices soared. And then it all fell apart. New terminology filled the airwaves: The "SubPrime Mortgage Crises" was upon us. If your neighbor was in crisis with his mortgage, and you were not, sooner or later the value of your neighbor's home would plummet, taking your property with it.

See the crisis timeline here, and note that Republicans warned it was coming over and over, but Barney could not be convinced. He was making homes available in his high-priced market for anyone who wanted one, and don't you think he was ensuring a vote to send him back to Congress? Obama Angry and Evil-Eyed: Obama Gives AIDS Hecklers A Finger: AIDs Treatment Progress?

An angry Obama faced unhappy AIDs activists when they heckled him at his Massachusetts speech for Governor Deval Patrick yesterday. Did the evil-eyed pic come from that rally or his appearance in Ohio, or neither? He appears to be dressed the same at each event. Scary photos. Eyes are the windows to the soul. Ewwwwe!

The $50 billion over 5 years the administration targeted for AIDS has apparently not begun flowing. Wearing white T-shirts with "Keep the Promise" emblazoned across the chest, they stirred things up a bit. Is this where the camera caught glimpses of a angry, evil-eyed Obama, as he points and yells at the hecklers? True to character, Obama blamed the lack of AIDs funding on Republicans and their fight to keep the Bush tax cuts. Never mind that $50 billion is about a 235% hike in funding over that of Bush, and our Treasury is empty these days.

President Bush set the gold standard for the World by pledging $15 billion over a five year period for the fight against AIDS. By Fall of 2007, Antiretroviral treatment (ART) had been dispensed to 1.5 million people. One billion of the $15 billion went to something called the "Global Fund."

Then Obama ascends and wants $50 billion. Did I mention that we are a bankrupt Nation? But the Democrats come to the rescue and fire up the printing press. We still have no money. All cash hot off the press has already been spent from here to my eternity.

Shamelessly, he told the eager crowd and the hecklers that Republicans, if elected, will "cut aids funding right here in the United States of America and all across the world."

I have great empathy for anyone suffering from AIDs, empathy for their agony, for their children and families. Having said that,  I do not have empathy for repeatedly spending money on causes when at-risk patients or potential patients do not co-operate. Those potential patients in this case include unmarrieds having unprotected sex and refusing to participate in routine testing, and having unprotected sex with multiple partners whether they accept testing or not. At-risk pregnant Mothers, rape victims (whether male or female) and all children are exempted from my wrath.

This report dated March 2010 says HIV infections are rising among homosexuals, drug users and prostitutes.

An undated government report discussing goals for 2010 seemed to be delivering good news about the spread of AIDs, but as is often the case with government documents, you have to read every word, and get to the bottom of the page before you find this:

Objectives that could not be assessed. Data to assess progress toward their targets were not available for new HIV/AIDS cases (13-5), condom use among sexually active unmarried males (13-6b), testing according to guidelines (13-13a and b), HIV diagnosis prior to AIDS (13-15), perinatally acquired HIV/AIDS (13-17a), and heterosexually transmitted HIV/AIDS in women (13-18).

This interesting report by Matthew Hanley in June 2010 says the "Western approach" to AIDs prevention in Africa has failed. But...a few African countries have cut the incidence of HIV-AIDs by their governments working with the population to doing one thing: changd behavior and cut out multiple partners. Uganda and Kenya have both seen great success from reduced partners. But those grubbing the money to fund their condom project, are blind, deaf and decidedly dumb:

These successes and failures are, tellingly, too often treated in a manner inversely proportional to their merits. Behavior change, though responsible for success, remains the least emphasized approach, while risk reduction invariably receives the benefit of the doubt despite its failure to deliver as promised. Its disappointing results always mean that efforts—along with funding—must simply be doubled. 

Many in the AIDS Establishment will only unreservedly applaud success if it comes through the technical means promoted by Western governments and activist groups. In a 2005 PBS documentary, UNAIDS’ executive director Dr. Piot refused to concede that behavior change played the paramount role in Uganda’s unparalleled success. “But we also know,” he added, “that no country has been successful in bringing down the number of new infections of HIV without strong condom promotion.” 

Who would have thought - simply refraining from sleeping around might save your life. So, maybe it's all about the money.

Obama increased George W. Bush's unprecedented HIV-AIDs funding of $15 billion by 235%. This big spender needs to be stopped in his tracks, as well as think about how Americans might feel when we see the dark and dangerous, angry and evil-looking eyes of our President.

A mother was there, takes photos, and tells her story in the video. The Muslim American Society operates the mosque. There are connections to terrorism running all through the place. Project 2996: Remembering Laurie Ann Neira

Project 2996 is a tribute to the victims of September 11, 2001. Maggie's Notebook will honor the memories and the lives of some of those lost that terrible day.

2,996 stories...2,996 voices...2,996 remembered.

Laurie Ann Neira was aboard American Airlines Flight 11 departing from Boston to Los Angeles, after a visit with family. The photograph at the right is Laurie in 1997 with her daughter Francisca, known as Frannie, on Frannie's wedding day.

Laurie worked for Your Office Genie, and a look around the Internet finds many workers remembering her fondly. Some knew her personally, and others recognized her as a co-worker they had not yet met.

One of Laurie's best friends as a teenager in Rowley, Massachusetts, Debbie Madruga Richards, wrote fond memories of their earlier friendship, when they moved to 'The Big Apple' together at age 18.

Laurie was born in Amesbury, Massachusetts. She met her future husband, Gilberto (Gil) in New York City. In 1975 the family, now consisting of Mom, Dad and Francisca moved to Los Angeles. Later, Frannie's brother Christopher was born. Each year after the move, the family returned to their Massachusetts roots for a visit.

Frannie and Laurie were in Boston on their annual trip, but were flying back to L.A. separately.

From Frannie:

"We had the best time together. Then, on 9/11/01 we went to the airport together. The car rental shuttle dropped [Laurie] off at her terminal first, she going on American, and me going on Delta. 

My last words to her were, see you back home."

American Airlines Flight 11 was taken over by hijackers after about 15 minutes after takeoff. Frannie's Delta flight made an emergency landing in Ohio. That is how she learned of her mother's fate.  All flights were grounded, and she was left alone there for three days. 

Frannie says her mother was the glue that held the family together. 

"She was the most loving and caring person I have ever known. She was a loving and devoted Wife and Mother to me and my brother Christopher. She was also a doting Grandmother to my daughter Amanda - she couldn't wait to be a Grandma! She was taken from our family too soon and left a void that will never be filled again."

Mike Stopa Massachusetts 3rd District Candidate on GZ Mosque, Health Care and Global Warming

Mike Stopa is a conservative running for the U.S. House of Representatives for Massachusetts' 3rd District.  He faces four other Republicans in the September 14th primary. All are running for the seat currently held by Rep. James McGovern, pegged as a "far-left" Democrat "leader," by GovTrack, who has been sitting in the House and voting the Democrat party-line since 1997.

Stopa is making some waves through published articles and interviews. He is a PhD physicist, and the director of the National Nanotechnology Infrastructure Network Computation Project in the Physics Department at Harvard University. He has had over 75 publications in print.

In the video below you'll hear a very interesting conversation with Mike, who points out that large entitlement legislation can be "de-funded," just as DukakisCare was de-funded under Republican governor Bill Weld in the early 1990's. Stopa details how this can be done in the video and in the Worcester Magazine:

"Dukakiscare more than two decades ago was delayed, unfunded and finally quashed in Massachusetts. He used this as a roadmap to un-funding and defeating Obamacare with a Republican Congress, suggesting specific ways to prevent Obama from drawing funds out of other plans and diverting them to Obamacare."

I believe we must hold to this opinion tightly. We cannot except anything less than the death of health care, and the financial reform bill.

Mike is a prolific speaker and writer. He recently responded to a New York Times article on the Ground Zero mosque. The following is one of the points made by Stopa. Read the entire article here.

One major difference between mosques and churches or temples is that anyone may enter a church or a temple. Only muslims may enter a mosque (or at least the principal prayer areas). It is not the bricks and mortar of the mosque building to which people object. 

Rather, the concern is with what goes on inside. To what extent are they seed beds of terror? We do not know because we are not allowed to go in and see and hear. This makes the life of Muslims and their mosques rather like secret societies. We know that people like the Fort Hood shooter were indoctrinated in American mosques. We know that there is radicalism in Islam. And we are not allowed in the door to see how much of that is going on....

Islam seeks a world of believers and is willing to put its worldly sword to the task of getting them. I therefore don’t like having Muslims meeting in secret to discuss these things in my neighborhood. The burden of proof that what’s going on inside is all innocent is with the followers of Islam. 

Mike says he is "a life-long fiscally conservative Republican," which is not easy for a Harvard Department head. He and his wife Hiromi have been married for 15 years and have four daughters.

I have listed some select videos below to give you a feel for who Mike Stopa is and how he would serve Massachusetts and all of us across the U.S., because today we recognize that "politics" are no longer local. Every Democrat vote across the country affects you in Des Moines, your sister in Dallas or my family in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In almost every case, these candidates are running against entrenched Democrats. We must help them get national attention and put money in their war chests because we cannot move the Democrats out without funding.

RINO Alert: Republican Marty Lamb's Conversion to the GOP Last Fall

We have a RINO Alert, courtesy of Nice Deb. If you have any thoughts of voting for Republican candidate Marty Lamb for Massachusetts' 3rd Congressional District, look into his background a little deeper. Nice Deb says Lamb is a TEA Party favorite, but has donated to Democrats in the past.

Lamb's opponent, Democrat incumbent James McGovern is rated a far-left Democrat according to GovTrack. This is an important race. Politics are no longer "local." Pick a state - any state. Every vote cast on Capitol Hill  affects each of us and our families.

...think about waking up on November 3rd and finding that we didn't take back enough of the House of Representatives and/or the Senate to make a significant difference. Think about two more years with an unrestrained Barack Obama, and ask yourself if we can recover from the catastrophe of his presidency.

At Nice Deb's, listen to Lamb talk about his past when he voted for a very liberal - candidate "red Ed Markey - one of the most "radical idiotic members of Congress," according to Lamb's interviewer. John Kerry Bails on Massachusetts Sales Tax: Kerry Takes New Yacht to Rhode Island

Super gazillionaire Teresa Heinz and also extraordinarily wealthy hubby Senator John Kerry have a new yacht which berths in Newport, Rhode Island, not Nantucket, Mass where the couple summers. The craft is fabulously expensive and would have cost the Kerry's a six-figure sales tax hit had they berthed the "Isabel" at their summering spot in Nantucket.

If the Kerry's keep the yacht away from Massachusetts for more than six months, they will avoid the state sales tax, AND and annual excise tax estimated at about $70,000.00 - annually:

Cash-strapped Massachusetts still collects a 6.25 percent sales tax and an annual excise tax on yachts. Sources say Isabel sold for something in the neighborhood of $7 million, meaning Kerry saved approximately $437,500 in sales tax and an annual excise tax of about $70,000.

An ANNUAL excise tax? Oh well, they can afford it (that's the Liberal view when it's a conservative being taxed) but dang! that's unAmerican (that's the conservative viewpoint no matter who is buying).

 When President Ronald Reagan nominated Judge Robert Bork for the U.S. Supreme Court, one of the most offensive and dishonest assaults against a man by the U.S. Government was launched, and Ted Kennedy hurled the first and immediate lethal blows. Kennedy's successful telling of lies about Judge Bork from the floor of the U.S. Senate was wildly successful, and it was one of the most shameful days in the history of American government. Elena Kagan, Obama's Supreme Court Nominee, "loved" borking Bork. She considers the slanderous lies a demonstration of constitutional democracy. See the video below.

As Ted Kennedy walked to the microphone, he couldn't guess that that he would become known for this day - not as well known as for the unpunished murder of Mary Jo Kopechne on that night on Martha's Vineyard, but this day, and this attack on Robert Bork would become his "other" legacy - and he needed another legacy badly.

Kennedy told lie after lie about Robert Bork, and so the term "borking" became a new verb. These lies are what Elena Kagan refers to in the video below, the method of treatment of SCOTUS nominees she believes is the best thing to ever happen to a constitutional democracy. Kagan "loved" the Bork hearings - "they were great, they were educational...."

Judge Bork said there was not a line in Kennedy's senate floor speech about his nomination that was accurate. When Ted Kennedy died, The Economist said Bork was right but..."it worked." How astounding is it that a publication with the reputation of The Economist would blithely chuckle - "it worked?"

How appalling our government and the free press has become. America elected Barack Obama because they thought he was a good speaker, and, of course, Ted Kennedy was known as the Lion of the Senate and praised for his oratory skills. Obama now, and Kennedy then, were and are a pox on this nation.

As we try to survive this administration, there is one thing we must not forget: all constitutional democracies are not equal: Among constitutional democracies are Argentina, Brazil, Indonesia, South Africa and Turkey - not shining examples of real democracy.

With every candidate we consider in the November elections, we must determine just what a constitutional democracy means to him/her. Is his vision that of originalism, as was Bork's - holding to what the Founders agonized about, sacrificed for, and prayed over, or does it mean, silencing the Internet and radio to deny a voice to a political party you differ with, or growing the government and destroying the private sector and the life blood of America, redistributing wealth to deal the final death knell to private enterprise, and backing Massachusetts school's decision to distribute condoms to elementary students, and deny parents the right to do a gosh darned thing about it?

The thing is, the silence of the missing angry roar of the teachers and their union is deafening. This is happening in Provincetown, Massachusetts.  Will Republicans think to ask Kagan her definition of a constitutional democracy? Does it include obliterating parental rights?

I want to see some borking coming out of the Republican side of the Senate. They can start now and not let up until they have shown every wart and pimple in Ms. Kagan's career. From what I've seen, there will be no reason for lies.

Ted Kennedy Death Threat File Now Public: FBI Conceals Kennedy Name: Remember Mary Jo One More Time

No surprise that Ted Kennedy's life was under continual threat of assassination. Apparently the file released by the FBI is huge. I found a couple of interesting items - about Mary Jo Kopechne, of course.

The FBI file, some 2,352 pages of it, shows that the Boston office of the FBI was notified of the "accident" immediately, but kept his identity secret as long as they could.

John Dean, in Richard Nixon's administration, asked the FBI to discreetly determine if Mary Jo had been in Greece in August 1968, about eleven months before she died. Dean supplied Kopechne's passport number. This report blacks out whatever answer was found. This give the impression that Ted Kennedy was in Greece in August 1968. So far, I haven't found any reports putting him there, but I'm sure if Ted Kennedy did not want to be found, he could make that happen.

Here's a reminder of Chappaquiddick that I found at Boston.com - many years after Mary Joe Kopechne died. This article published by the leading paper in Ted Kennedy's hometown makes you feel as though you were in the car with Kennedy and Kopechne. Portions of the following is from my own article. Those portions have not been indented.

Mary Jo Kopechne

Her death occurred on July 20th, 1969 [she would have been 70 in 2010]. She was 28 at the time. Two days later her funeral was held in Pennsylvania and she was buried there. Ms. Kophecne's body was whisked off the island and out of Massachusetts for a very quick burial.

There was no defense for Ms. Kopechne against the Kennedy clan. There was no autopsy.

Kennedy pleaded "guilty," and then:

His lawyer asked that his sentence be suspended. Judge James Boyle consented. 

"It is my understanding that he has already been, and will continue to be, punished far beyond anything this court can impose," said Boyle. 

The hearing lasted less than 10 minutes. Afterward, the police chief told reporters his investigation was closed. 

In January [1970], the Chappaquiddick inquest was held on Martha's Vineyard. Kennedy's lawyers had prevailed, and the four days of testimony were closed to the public and press, the transcript locked away until a later date. 

Within days of its decision, Judge Boyle released the 764-page inquest transcript — including his own stunning conclusion that Kennedy's negligence had contributed to Kopechne's death. 

Based on testimony at the inquest, Boyle concluded that Kennedy had lied; he "did not intend to drive to the ferry slip and his turn onto Dike Road was intentional."

Ted Kennedy's book, True Compass, was released just before his death. One thousand leather-bound copies sold for $1,000 each. Maybe Kennedy found his True Compass before he died. He certainly didn't have it the night he did not rescue Mary Jo Kopechne from the cold waters off of Chappaquiddick Island. I guess it is time I let his memory rest in peace.

U.S. Constitution Series: Samuel Langdon

Samuel Langdon was born on January 12, 1723 in Boston, Massachusetts. He died in Hampton, Falls, New Hampshire on November 29, 1797. Langdon was a delegate to the New Hampshire convention that adopted the Constitution of the United States.

Langdon served 36 years as the president of Harvard University. Below his speech in the Massachusetts Legislature, read how this patriot was received by the Harvard students in the 1700's.

Regarding the responsibility of The People under the American System to be "a government of the people, by the people, and for the people."

Samuel Langdon from the floor of the Massachusetts Legislature in 1788:

On the people, therefore, of these United States, it depends whether wise men, or fools, good or bad men, shall govern....

Therefore, I will now lift up my voice and cry aloud to the people....

From year to year be careful in the choice of your representatives and the higher powers [offices] of government. Fix your eyes upon men of good understanding and known honesty; men of knowledge, improved by experience; men who fear God and hate covetousness; who love truth and righteousness, and sincerely wish for the public welfare....

Let not men openly irreligious and immoral become your legislators....If the legislative body are corrupt, you will soon have bad men for counselors, corrupt judges, unqualified justices, and officers in every department who will dishonor their stations....

Never give countenance to turbulent men, who wish to distinguish themselves and rise to power by forming combinations and exciting insurrections against government....

I call upon you also to support schools in your towns....It is a debt you owe to to your children.

Langdon was considered a distinguished scholar and theologian, receiving a Doctor of Divinity from the University of Aberdeen in 1762. Langdon was one of the first members of the American Academy of Arts and Scientists.

Langdon graduated Harvard in 1740, along with classmate Samuel Adams, and was ordained as pastor in 1747 of the North Church of Portsmouth. He left the clergy in 1744 to become the president of Harvard University, resigning the Harvard presidency after 36 years, in 1780. Within the year, Samuel Langdon became the pastor of the Congregational church in Hampton Falls, New Hampshire.

A biographical note from Frank Moore:

"Langdon called for limited government and the removal of corrupt government officials. Most importantly, Langdon called for the nation to return to the true principles of Christianity and the morality of the Ten Commandments. It was the abandonment of true Christianity, Langdon said, that caused the British government to be the way it was in 1775. "

Mr. Moore describes Langdon as "a very zealous Whig," and says that during Langdon's tenure as the president of Harvard:

"He did not receive that respect and kindness from the students and others connected with the college, that were due his character as a scholar and a Christian. Under these circumstances he resigned the presidency...."

Along with Langdon, Abraham Lincoln was a member of the Whig party in Illinois.

William Delahunt is sending signals that he may not seek re-election. The Kennedy-Free Congress may be a short-lived memory. Democrat operatives are believed to be making it happen. Young Joe has little to lose, other than the Kennedy legacy. No Kennedy has ever lost an election in Massachusetts.

J.P. Kennedy, III is 29 years old. A Massachusetts Democrat leaked the story today that he is considering a run. Kennedy the Even Younger is a graduate of Stanford University and, of course, Harvard Law. He is a prosecutor in Barnstable County, and registered to vote in Cape Cod. The 10th District represents the South Shore and Cape Cod. Don't miss the story of Joe III's mother a few paragraphs down.

Delahunt, who has not faced a serious challenge since 1996, told the Boston Globe on February 13th, he is considering retiring.  He is under pressure for his failure to investigate University of Alabama Huntsville murderer, Dr. Amy Bishop in 1986 after she shot and killed her 18-year-old brother Sean when Delahunt was a Massachusetts District Attorney. Bishop shot  and killed three of her peers at a UAH department meeting in early February. Three additional persons were wounded, two of them critically.

The circumstances around Sean's death should have called for an investigation, instead then-Police of Chief Polio spoke by phone with then-District Attorney William Delahunt, and when Polio got off of the phone, Amy Bishop was allowed to go home - no further investigation, no charges - even though a car dealer salesman told police Bishop walked into his showroom minutes after the shooting, still armed with her shotgun, and acted in a threatening manner. There was never a follow-up interview with the saleman, and recent reports say that the autopsy report lacks pertinent data. As District Attorney, the autopsy was under Delahunt's oversight. Bishop's mother was well-known in Braintree and some believe her influence shutdown a investigation.

Massachusetts Democrats are said to trying to broker an "endorse Joe III and retire" plan for Delahunt. Joe the Younger is said to be a bright star among the other Kennedys in his generation, and he will no doubt be a front runner from the moment his candidacy is announced.

An interesting Kennedy-side-story: Joe III's father, Joe II divorced his mother, Sheila Rauch Kennedy after 12 years in 1991. Joe II asked the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston to annul the marriage on the grounds that he was not mentally capable of entering the marriage in 1979. Sheila Rauch, an Episcopalian, refused to agree to the annulment.

Joe II married Beth Kelly, his former staffer anyway, in a civil ceremony in 1993. Rauch later discovered that the Boston Archdiocese granted Kennedy the annulment secretly in 1996. Rauch appealed the annulment to the Vatican and in 2005, the Vatican reversed the annulment. Astonishing that an Episcopalian woman could fight the power of the Kennedy's and a powerful diocese...and win.

Republican Jeffry Davis Perry, currently a third term Massachusetts State Congressman announced his U.S. House candidacy on February 2nd. He will kickoff his race, and his first fundraiser for the Massachusetts 10th District on March 5, 2010.

Amy Bishop Hit a Mom in a Pancake House: Bishop Throws Punches at IHOP

Amy Bishop hit a woman in a Peabody, Massachusetts pancake house. The stories about this out-of-control woman just keep coming.

In 2002, Bishop was in an International House of Pancakes (IHOP). She asked for a booster seat for one of her children, but the restaurant was out of boosters.

Bishop, according to a police report, strode over to the other woman, [Michelle Gjika] demanded the seat and launched into a profanity-laced rant.

When the woman would not give the seat up, Bishop punched her in the head, all the while yelling "I am Dr. Amy Bishop."

Prosecutors recommended anger management, and received probation. It is not known if she actually did attend anger management counseling.

Bishop is charged with one count of capital murder, and two counts of attempted murder, for the killings of three University of Alabama at Huntsville faculty members, and the wounding of three.

Rep. Bill Delahunt (D-MASS) was the District Attorney at the time that University of Alabama Huntsville (UAH) shooter, Amy Bishop shot and killed her brother in 1986. Something I've heard nothing about is the current Chief of Police in Braintree, Massachusetts, saying in the video below, that Amy Bishop pointed the shotgun at a passing vehicle as she fled her home, after shooting her brother.

Bishop opened fire on colleagues at UAH, last week, killing three and leaving three critically wounded. As the news raced throughout the country, we learned that Dr. Bishop had also shot her 18 year old brother, Seth Bishop, some 24 years ago. He died within minutes of arriving at the hospital. Charges against Amy Bishop were mysteriously dropped, but police around at that time, still remember the case - but they do not all remember it the same way. In fact, even Amy and her mother remember the circumstances differently, of the shot that killed their brother and son.

According to the current Braintree police chief, Paul H. Frazier, Amy Bishop fatally shot her 18-year-old brother, Seth, on Dec. 6, 1986, but was set free the same day by Braintree Police under orders from then-Police Chief John Polio.

In news accounts at the time, Polio called the death an accident that happened when Bishop was learning how to unload a shotgun.

Frazier challenged that account today, saying instead that Bishop shot her brother during an argument and fled on foot with the 12-gauge shotgun before being captured by police, who handcuffed her and took her to the station. The case file, including the report of the incident, disappeared shortly thereafter, he said. 

Police released Bishop after a telephone conversation with then-District Attorney Bill Delahunt, long an advocate for confiscating the guns of American citizens.

The police officers here were very upset about that," said Frazier, who was a patrolman at the time and spoke to officers who remembered the incident that day, including one who filed a report on it. 

In the video below, you will hear current Police Chief Frazier say Amy's mother was a "public figure" and that is why she was never charged in the murder of her brother. Gateway Pundit has the scoop on Judith Bishop at the time her son died. AND also, Frazier says that when Amy Bishop left the house after shooting her brother, she aimed the shotgun at a passing car (about 1:56 minutes in).

The case files on the death of Seth Bishop have been missing since 1987-1988, but yesterday the  police released a 12-page report written on the day of the shooting, saying that Amy Bishop was "too emotional" to be questioned. Authorities returned to the home 11 days later and met with Amy and her parents "individually."

According to the investigation report, after Amy and her father had a disagreement, he left for a shopping trip and she went to her room. Amy decided to go to her parents’ room to teach herself to load the shotgun the family had acquired the previous year for protection after a break-in. She succeeded but could not remove the shells, and the gun fired in the bedroom. Amy then went downstairs to ask for help unloading it and inadvertently shot her brother while her mother watched, according to the report.

Makes me think her father did the right thing by leaving the house.

 Amy’s mother said Amy asked her for help unloading the gun; she told Amy to be careful where she pointed it, and that Amy turned and accidentally shot her brother. Her mother said she screamed and called the police, as Amy ran out of the house.

Amy's story:

Amy said she asked her brother, not her mother, for help unloading the gun, and that she was pointing it beside her leg for safety. She said her brother told her to point it up instead. As he walked across the kitchen floor, someone said something, and Amy turned and the gun went off.

David Codrea at The Examiner has a new bit of information on the UAH shooting. Amy Bishop dumped her gun in a second-floor bathroom before exiting the building. Oh, and did I mention that searches show that the mainstream media, for the most part, is NOT MENTIONING DELAHUNT, or that he is a Democrat. I have have one mention in the New York Times.

Joe Kennedy on Scott Browns Seat: Scott Brown News

Joe Kennedy, II, the nephew of Ted Kennedy, son of Ethel and Robert Kennedy, said skipping the senate race wasn't his greatest decision.

In other Massachusetts news, Senator-to-be (if he can get sworn-in) Scott Brown says he will vote the way he wants to vote...not always with Republicans. He has hired some of former Senator Ted Kennedy's staffers, which he says are among the very best. Wait till the New York Times leaks his Committee reports before they are even filed.

Brown wants to "chart a new course in Washington," and that's well and good, but the question is, will he find anything in this administration he can stomach voting for? If so, can't wait to find out what that may be.

Hello! Republicans want bipartisanship. It makes everything easier, but let's face it, everything the administration has proposed leads straight to socialism and beyond.

The problem Mr. Brown will face is finding a Liberal anywhere on the Hill wanting to support his own focus areas...or maybe not:

Brown also said he planned to focus on four areas as senator: the military, veterans affairs, education, and disability.

He says says there is a lot pressure on him to be everything to everybody, and he doesn't want to let constituents down. That is a lot of pressure. He need only think about his campaign promises, speeches and all those adoring fans...the ones wanting to create a flag in his honor, serve up the Scott Brown Special at the local breakfast diner...just remember all that, and you'll be fine, Mr. Brown.

Massachusetts Political Earthquake: Everything in Play Now!

Scott Brown’s stunning electoral victory in Massachusetts yesterday confirms to the world what we have known all along: patriotism and common sense are alive and well.

Real Americans remain a majority in this country, and the massively-funded, corrupt Democrat machine, engorged with our tax dollars, radical billionaire money and lock-step union support, cannot buy elections, even in hardcore Democrat states, once the sleeping giant has awoken.

And make no mistake about it: we are wide awake! The Democrats were certainly hamstrung by choosing an impossibly bad candidate. Martha Coakley made a fool of herself repeatedly, yet throughout it all carried herself with an astonishing sense of conceited entitlement, seemingly contemptuous of even having to campaign at all.

Meanwhile, her campaign took on an air of ugly thuggishness. Two scenes captured on video during this short campaign say it all. Everyone has seen the first one, where a reporter is pushed to the ground by a Coakley supporter while Coakley stands by doing nothing. Remember, she is the Massachusetts attorney general. The second one has received less attention, but is even more telling: a female reporter getting thrown out of a Coakley campaign office with shouts of "Nazi." Someone even used the "F" bomb. What class acts.

The real problem is that Coakley defines what the Democrat Party has become today: arrogant, boorish, incomprehensibly ignorant and downright thuggish. Former Vermont Governor and Presidential candidate Howard Dean, for example, reacted to Brown's victory by saying that now Democrats have to get tough, and not "deal with Republicans anymore."

Stunning. So that’s what we've been witnessing all year, with Democrats violating Senate rules, holding closed-door meetings, locking Republicans out of discussions, rejecting outright any Republican proposals and violating their own promises of "transparency." But they haven't been tough enough. Simply amazing.

Scott Brown's election was certainly about healthcare. Massachusetts already has its own expensive plan. They don't need or want even more government intrusion. It was also about national security. Brown's own internal polling convinced the campaign this was true. People feel insecure with this President and his administration, and with good reason. But it was even more than that...

Barney Frank Health Care Not Appropriate

Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass) says he "feels strongly" that Democrats in Congress must respect the process and make no effort to bypass the electoral results of Scott Brown's election to the Senate. To do so, he says will be "inappropriate."

Frank sees the best result a bi-partisan effort to revise Democrat health care in the Senate.

Barney Frank is a rabid proponent of single-payer health coverage - mandated and run by the government. He has spent years trying to restructure government as the agency of the redistribution of your wealth and mine. Frank often speaks out in a manner thought to be reasonable toward a particular position - then thinks on it a few days before throwing reasonable thought to the wind and returning to the nest of his far-left and dangerous colleagues - of which he is a longtime leader. Do not take comfort in anything Barney Frank says.

The war begins now. President Obama says he will push ahead - full speed - for health care. Your opinion has never mattered.

Now we need the individual Congressmen and women to step all over this man's ego. It should be clear that those in Congress who have waivered over their vote, will see the writing on the wall more clearly after the Massachusetts vote. But we know Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid will travel to the depths of indecency to buy their fondest desires. Who will be the next Martha Coakley?

Their options are few, and extremely complex, mostly involving legislative tactics that would be difficult to pull off in the best of circumstances, let alone at a time when members are worried they could be the next Martha Coakley – a seeming Democratic shoo-in laid low, in part, by health reform.
