Many have unwittingly accepted the Liberal position that the First Amendment is about Separation of Church and State, rather than the prohibition of Congress to establish religion. A few years ago, I had this same conversation with someone near and dear to me. Proclaiming Separation of Church and State, I explained to him much of what Rush goes through in this video. After listening, seemingly intently, he said "well, that's not the way people think of it."

The Daily Caller tells us not all those on the JournoList want to see Rush Limbaugh dead and believe there is no Islamic extremism in the U.S. After Army Major Nidal Hasan massacred 14 at Fort Hood Texas, yelling "Allahu Akbar" as he gunned down American soldiers, civilians and an unborn child, the JournoList groupies had a conversation about the media's responsibility to show the obvious ties to Islamic jihad, and someone actually defended Rush Limbaugh.

Rush Limbaugh Sarah Spitz: Limbaugh Answers Sarah Spitz Wish to Watch Him Die: Megyn Kelly Journolist Video

Sarah Spitz is an NPR producer. That means at least a portion of her salary is subsidized by American taxpayers, giving her the comfort to make the news, rather than report the news. Today Sarah is making the news, and many are reporting it. Sarah wants Rush Limbaugh to die, and she would like to be around to watch. Contrary to how most Americans would react to any person having a heart attack, even our enemies, Sarah Spitz said she would "Laugh loudly like a maniac and watch his eyes bug out...." Spitz commented that she didn't realize she had that "much hate" she had in her, but "he deserves it." Isn't that the Liberal way of thinking: I don't like him. He deserves to die. “Not having wished anyone dead, nor having fantasized about watching someone die, I cannot possibly relate to this,” Limbaugh responded.

I can only surmise. I think most people on the left live in a world where merit is irrelevant. Theirs is a world in which connections, networking, kissing ass and obedient sameness are rewarded. I am the antithesis of all that. I am a legitimate, achieved and accomplished Number One and I’ve made it on my own and without them and without having followed their proscriptions. I think they are also jealous that I just sold my NY condo for a 125 percent profit while their homes are worthlessly underwater.

Funny thing….a number of my friends sent me the Daily Caller piece and the most shocking thing to them in the story was the advocacy of having government shut down Fox News.  That the left wants me dead was not a big deal to them because it was nothing new to them. I think that’s hilarious.

So much for the idea that NPR is an oasis of civil discourse in a desert of vituperation. Spitz is a producer for trendy-hot NPR station KCRW and its nationally distributed talk show Left Right and Center (which could be called Three Leftists and Tony Blankley). But Spitz has also done stories for NPR's evening newscast All Things Considered.

The Daily Caller first reported the online exchange between about 400 "elite" media, academia and activists. This group is known as JournoList and they say they chat about sports, and "non-incendiary subjects." But what The Caller found when they obtained copies of the exchanges, is a group of people who worked hard to elect Barack Obama and deflect his detractors - especially the Not-Very-Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Obama's pastor. The truthful way to say this is, the group decided not to print the truth, or even print both sides and let the people decide what was truthful and what was not.

The Caller shows that some on the JournoList tried to turn focus on what Wright was saying by attacking prominent media and White House employees by calling them racist. Both Fred Barnes and Karl Rove were specifically targeted for the "racist" tag. We are naive to think they stopped at Jeremiah Wright. Volumes of real news, and real investigative reports never made it to sunshine because the media would not risk Obama losing. Read excerpts from JournoList here.

The JournoList even discussed how the FCC might pull Fox News' broadcasting license. Here's Limbaugh's response to that:

...how about the LAW professor who thinks the FCC can pull Fox’s license? Fox does not have a license. The FCC does not grant Fox its right to exist. And this guy teaches law.

The people on the JournoList deemed themselves worthy of shaping the outcome of the 2008 elections. I believe the same was done as we tried to bring out Obama's Socialist/Marxist background, his close associations with radical Weatherman Bill Ayers, and of course, the birth certificate issue.

In the meantime, Rush Limbaugh lives. If there is any justice in this world, Sarah Spitz' career on the taxpayer dime will die.

As a publicist, I realize more than anyone that is no excuse for irresponsible behavior. I apologize to anyone I may have offended and I regret these comments greatly; they do not reflect the values by which I conduct my life.

 The Daily Caller is correcting Sarah Spitz' employer. She is a producer for NPR-affiliated KCRW, but does not work for NPR. She has contributed six pieces to NPR's Morning Edition and All Things Considered.

As the Spitz story shows, there is a bit of blur inside the public-radio system when it comes to the programming and the payroll. Spitz worked for KCRW, but she offered freelance reports for NPR. KCRW gets taxpayer money from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, and sends some of it back to NPR in fees for its news programming. Spitz's show Left Right & Center is on the NPR Podcast directory and airs across the country on almost 40 NPR affiliates.

Rush Limbaughs NYC $11.5 Million Condo Sale

Rush Limbaugh's NYC Fifth Avenue penthouse condo has sold to an unnamed buyer, but a broker "familiar with the transaction" says the price was about $11.5 million. This is capitalism at its best: Rush reportedly paid under $5 million in 1994 for the penthouse, an additional maid's room and a storage locker.

The condo, located one East 86th Street near Fifth Avenue was put on the market in February 2010 with a listed price of $13.95 million. The apartment is the largest in the building, has a private entrance and elevator and is 4,661-square-feet large. The developers of the building received permission to use a Fifth Avenue address even though the locations is 100 feet from Fifth Avenue. Just goes to show that nothing is as it seems.

She thinks Sir Elton may have agreed to perform for "money." Whoopi said Elton is married to a man in London, but they are not "married," and for whatever reason, Sir Elton doesn't believe same sex-marriage should be legalized.

Rush Limbaugh Elton John: Limbaugh, Rogers Marry Tonight 6-5-10 in Florida: Elton John Sings at Limbaugh Wedding?

Fox News just announced that Rush Limbaugh will marry Kathryn Rogers tonight in Florida. They report rumors that Elton John will perform. More details as available. Here's the latest scoop: Elton John did perform. Wedding guests included Karl Rove, Fred Thompson, Sean Hannity, Rudy Giuliani, Mary Matalin and her husband, James Carville, baseball's George Brett, the New England Patriots owner, Bob Kraft, and golfer Tom Watson.

The Post Chronicle said the wedding has occurred, at Rush's home, with the wedding reception at The Breakers. The Palm Beach Post confirms that Elton John will play at the reception, and will be paid $1M.  It's not my wedding, but the Sir Elton John Factor is so disappointing.

The New York Daily News confirms the Elton John appearance at the Hawaiian-themed wedding reception. The rehearsal dinner was also at The Breakers in the Ponce de Leon ballroom. on Friday night.

Rush Limbaugh Kathryn Rogers: Rush Marries Kathryn Rogers Next Week?

Rush has been dieting and losing weight - sure sign that something's up. I'm hearing that he will marry Kathryn Rogers in an "intimate" ceremony at his home, on the beach, at his North Palm Beach home. Rush is 59. Ms. Rogers, said to be a direct descendant of John Adams, is 33. She was or is a party planner for the South Florida Super Bowl host committee.

Rogers and Rush met in 2004. At that time, she worked for golfer Gary Player. Rush was a celebrity guest at the tournament. The gossip is that Rush was in the middle of a divorce from 'Marta.' Rogers and Rush began dating after the Rush-Marta divorce in summer 2007.

Remember the "heart attack" Rush had in Hawaii last January? He was there to meet Kathryn's parents.

If this story is true, I wish Rush and Ms. Rogers every happiness. It cannot be easy to be married and be Rush Limbaugh, and it cannot be easy to be married to Rush - not because of Rush's personality, but because he is a huge talent who knows what he is talking about, is insightful beyond any norm - and thus is a target of every Liberal, all of whom want to be him,  can't get to first base and settle for an unattractive shade of green adorning their faces. Well if Limbaugh and Rogers married, we don't know it. An article in Politico in November 2009 said the wedding was set for July 4th. So a few more weeks and we'll see. I think a July 4th wedding is a date Rush would love. OR...

Just saw on Rush's website an announcement that he will be off the show beginning Thursday, until Tuesday, June 15th. No other information. This must be it.

Half of Americans Freeload - Pay No Taxes

A caller on Rush today said he and his wife had sold a home in New York City - did well, made a lot of money, moved to Pennsylvania and paid cash for another house. The man, Eric, hasn't worked in almost two years. He is on his second round of unemployment. His wife is a nurse and has had ongoing employment. The couple paid $900 in taxes last year. The government sent him a refund of $2,300.00. He said he was having a crisis of conscience.

We heard yesterday that 47% of all Americans pay nothing...absolutely nothing in federal income taxes. It is no surprise that so many disdain this country. They have absolutely nothing invested in the growth of America, they invest nothing in others...they take...they have televisions, two cars and cell phones. Many probably smoke, enjoy a scotch or a vodka. The kids have a internet connection, go to tanning booths and get manis-and-pedis and constant bottles of blue and lime nail polish, while being enrolled in school lunch programs. Fifty percent of Americans get a lot something for absolutely nothing. Everyone should pay something!

Freeloaders

In recent years, credits for low-and middle -income familites have grown so much that a family of four making as much as $50,000 will owe no federal income tax for 200, as long as there are two children younger than 17...

The result is a tax system that exempts almost half the country from paying for programs that benefit everyone, including national defense, public safety, infrastructure and education. It is a system in which the top 10% of earners -- households making an average of $366,400 in 2006 -- paid about 73% of the income taxes collected by the federal government.

 Then there were the stimulus checks sent to each household. Those checks came of the monies 53% of us paid to the federal government for our unfair share.

The wealthy do enjoy some hefty taxcuts, which in many instances keeps them hiring, keeps them paying benefits for employees, keeps them consuming, which benefits everyone. But Obama is slashing those cuts. It is my deepest desire that everyone of the 47% feel the deeper government hand in the pocket of some wealthy person. I hope your benefits are eliminated.

Rush Limbaughs Thanksgiving Truths: On Giving Thanks for Capitalism and Scripture

I missed a Thanksgiving post yesterday, as I am fortunate to have family in town to share this beautiful day with, and even more blessed to be busy with making family memories. But it is never too late for a little history, and no one can tell the story more accurately or truthfully than Rush Limbaugh. Rush first laid out in his book, See I Told You So - Chapter 6 Dead White Guys, or What the History Books Never Told You, the truth about Thanksgiving. In the history below, you'll see the first socialist society in the U.S., and the negative fruits of that society - which failed completely. If you are torn about President Obama's Marxist policies, and if you want to believe that everything being shared equally might be a good idea, see how it worked for the new immigrants, the very first time in America:

Thanksgiving

The True Story of Thanksgiving -- The story of the Pilgrims begins in the early part of the seventeenth century (that's the 1600s for those of you in Rio Linda, California). The Church of England under King James I was persecuting anyone and everyone who did not recognize its absolute civil and spiritual authority. Those who challenged ecclesiastical authority and those who believed strongly in freedom of worship were hunted down, imprisoned, and sometimes executed for their beliefs. A group of separatists first fled to Holland and established a community.

After eleven years, about forty of them agreed to make a perilous journey to the New World, where they would certainly face hardships, but could live and worship God according to the dictates of their own consciences. On August 1, 1620, the Mayflower set sail. It carried a total of 102 passengers, including forty Pilgrims led by William Bradford. On the journey, Bradford set up an agreement, a contract, that established just and equal laws for all members of the new community, irrespective of their religious beliefs. Where did the revolutionary ideas expressed in the Mayflower Compact come from? From the Bible. The Pilgrims were a people completely steeped in the lessons of the Old and New Testaments. They looked to the ancient Israelites for their example.

And, because of the biblical precedents set forth in Scripture, they never doubted that their experiment would work. But this was no pleasure cruise, friends. The journey to the New World was a long and arduous one. And when the Pilgrims landed in New England in November, they found, according to Bradford's detailed journal, a cold, barren, desolate wilderness. There were no friends to greet them, he wrote. There were no houses to shelter them. There were no inns where they could refresh themselves. And the sacrifice they had made for freedom was just beginning. During the first winter, half the Pilgrims – including Bradford's own wife – died of either starvation, sickness or exposure. When spring finally came, Indians taught the settlers how to plant corn, fish for cod and skin beavers for coats.



Life improved for the Pilgrims, but they did not yet prosper! This is important to understand because this is where modern American history lessons often end. Thanksgiving is actually explained in some textbooks as a holiday for which the Pilgrims gave thanks to the Indians for saving their lives, rather than as a devout expression of gratitude grounded in the tradition of both the Old and New Testaments. Here is the part that has been omitted: The original contract the Pilgrims had entered into with their merchant-sponsors in London called for everything they produced to go into a common store, and each member of the community was entitled to one common share. All of the land they cleared and the houses they built belong to the community as well. They were going to distribute it equally. Nobody owned anything. They just had a share in it. It was a commune, folks. It was the forerunner to the communes we saw in the '60s and '70s out in California – and it was complete with organic vegetables, by the way. Bradford, who had become the new governor of the colony, recognized that this form of collectivism was as costly and destructive to the Pilgrims as that first harsh winter, which had taken so many lives. He decided to take bold action. Bradford assigned a plot of land to each family to work and manage, thus turning loose the power of the marketplace. That's right. Long before Karl Marx was even born, the Pilgrims had discovered and experimented with what could only be described as socialism. And what happened? It didn't work!"

It never has worked! "What Bradford and his community found was that the most creative and industrious people had no incentive to work any harder than anyone else, unless they could utilize the power of personal motivation! But while most of the rest of the world has been experimenting with socialism for well over a hundred years – trying to refine it, perfect it, and re-invent it – the Pilgrims decided early on to scrap it permanently. What Bradford wrote about this social experiment should be in every schoolchild's history lesson. If it were, we might prevent much needless suffering in the future.

'The experience that we had in this common course and condition, tried sundry years...that by taking away property, and bringing community into a common wealth, would make them happy and flourishing – as if they were wiser than God,' Bradford wrote.

For this community [so far as it was] was found to breed much confusion and discontent, and retard much employment that would have been to their benefit and comfort. For young men that were most able and fit for labor and service did repine that they should spend their time and strength to work for other men's wives and children without any recompense ... that was thought injustice.'

Why should you work for other people when you can't work for yourself? What's the point? Do you hear what he was saying, ladies and gentlemen? The Pilgrims found that people could not be expected to do their best work without incentive. So what did Bradford's community try next? They unharnessed the power of good old free enterprise by invoking the undergirding capitalistic principle of private property.

Every family was assigned its own plot of land to work and permitted to market its own crops and products. And what was the result?

'This had very good success,' wrote Bradford, 'for it made all hands industrious, so as much more corn was planted than otherwise would have been.'

Bradford doesn't sound like much of a Clintonite" I wrote then "does he? Is it possible that supply-side economics could have existed before the 1980s? Yes. Read the story of Joseph and Pharaoh in Genesis 41. Following Joseph's suggestion (Gen 41:34), Pharaoh reduced the tax on Egyptians to 20% during the 'seven years of plenty' and the 'Earth brought forth in heaps.' (Gen. 41:47) In no time, the Pilgrims found they had more food than they could eat themselves.

Now, this is where it gets really good, folks, if you're laboring under the misconception that I was, as I was taught in school. So they set up trading posts and exchanged goods with the Indians. The profits allowed them to pay off their debts to the merchants in London. And the success and prosperity of the Plymouth settlement attracted more Europeans and began what came to be known as the 'Great Puritan Migration.'" William Bill Sparkman Suicide? Census Worker Sparkman Suicide in Kentucky?

Remember William "Bill" Sparkman, the part time census worker found hanging from a tree, naked and bound with the word "Fed" written across his check in black marker? Police are looking closely at suicide in this case. See update 11-14-09 below.

On September 12th Mr. Sparkman was found hanged, with his feet "in contact with the ground," in the Daniel Boone National Forest near Manchester, Kentucky. Immediate reports speculated that he was taking a census in the area, although no confirming evidence that he was working has come forward. The FBI did join the investigation as it is a federal crime to attack a federal worker, during or because of, his job. Now, police are considering suicide.

Liberals immediately saw this as a crime probably committed by backwoods red necks, spurred on by Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Michelle Bachmann and WorldNetDaily.

Jerry Weaver, the man who found Mr. Sparkman said his eyes covered with duct tap, he was wearing only a pair of socks and was gagged with something that looked like a red rag.

And they even had duct tape around his neck. And they had like his identification tag on his neck. They had it duct-taped to the side of his neck, on the right side, almost on his right shoulder..."

Nevertheless, police are pulling back on the idea of homicide and say there are several reasons why suicide may be a possibility:

There were no defensive wounds on Sparkman's body, and while his hands were bound with duct-tape, they were still somewhat mobile, suggesting he could have manipulated the rope, the officials said.

NewsBusters says the media has gone silent, now that suicide is a possiblity. Few are talking about Mr. Sparkman these days, as there may be no one to blame.This is a very sad story. William Sparkman was a substitute teacher and has battled non-Hodgkins Lymphoma for years. He was single and had an adopted son. That I.D. tag on his neck is exceedingly weird.

Update 11-24-09:
Authorities today said that Mr. Sparkman committed suicide, and he worked alone in the act of making his death appear to be murder. Read the story here.

No one wants to talk about the real reason that Doug Hoffman lost the NY23 special election race for the U.S. House. Doug Hoffman had zero support from the GOP. In fact, the party fathers supported the RINO (Republican in name only) DeDe Scozzafava who dropped out of the race, on Halloween, after the GOP had already flushed $900,000 down her liberal toi-ty. To repeat, Doug Hoffman lost by 3 points with no support from the GOP. You won't hear that anywhere but in blogs.


 Rush Limbaugh prediction November 3, election day a.m.:

ABC News radio at the top of the hour here on cue -- by the way, CNN is doing the same thing -- said that the White House is insisting that these governor races should not be seen as a judgment on the White House.


It's tough being CNN today.  They've got a poll out that shows Obama at 54% approval.  Now, what timing, the day of the election and the day before the results are analyzed.  So if Obama is at 54% approval and the Democrats get shellacked today, why, it has nothing to do with Obama.  But they bury something very important in their own poll.  Obama health care approval: 42 for, 57 against in the CNN poll.  

I think the video below was taped just before election results were announced. In the video, Obamacare is tied to the evening's elections. Listen to James Carville: if Democrats do not pass health care, the Dems might lose both Chambers [in 2010] - "they'll get slaughtered. Carville also tries to suggest that low health care approval polling is due to Americans being upset that Obama is taking so long to get the job done. They are desperate.
