Obamas Cairo Speech Taken From Imam Feisal Raufs Book: Feisal Rauf Courted Mayor Bloomberg

Iman Feisal Rauf said Barack Obama used a chapter of his book to write his Arab-lauded Cairo speech. Rauf said "entire parts" of his book were transferred to Obama's speech by "one of those who participated in writing the speech." The speech writer is not named. Rauf made this admission speaking in Arabic. He also said he "courted" New York City Michael Bloomberg. Jihad is alive and well in New York City and the Oval Office. Rauf's book has one self-admitted goal in mind - getting the West to accept Muslim countries with their jihad and their Shariah law. Note below that Rauf expects the West, including our Government, our teachers and our press to make the way for Islam.

According to the imam, his book outlines what the Christian community, Jewish community, educators, the media and THE U.S. GOVERNMENT must do for Muslim countries to have "good relations with America."

"For example, in my book in the Arabic version page 293, what did I write? What are the things that the United States Needs to do. If you examine this chapter you will find that the Obama speech in Cairo was all taken from this section [Section 6]..."

The clue was revealed while Rauf was answering a question regarding President Barack Obama's speech in which Rauf replied:

"The speech was wonderful and wise in this choice of words, the Prime Minister of Malaysia after the speech disclosed to me that it is now easy for any president of a Muslim country to establish good relations with America, and I am not going to hide from you that one of those who participated in writing the speech, transferred entire parts of my book 'A new Vision for Muslims and the West, which he referred to U.S. interests being compatible with top interests of the Muslim world."

Rauf speaks of courting Bloomberg and the Jewish community. This article written by Walid Shoebat reminds us that Imam Rauf speaks in a very moderate and peaceful tone when speaking to Western audiences, but that tone changes when speaking to Arabic speakers "exposing him as a direct supporter of terrorism, both financially and verbally." Walid Shoebat is a former terrorist and the author of Why I Left Jihad, Why We Want to Kill You, and God's War on Terror. He is an American citizen and lives in the U.S.

Iran Air 744 Secret Pipeline to US: Iran Air Iranian Agents Exclusive Flight

Iran Air 744 flies bi-monthly from Tehran to Caracas, with some stops in Damascus and Beirut, and has been doing so since February 2007. The flight is exclusively reserved for Iranian agents, Hezbollah, and Iran's Revolutionary Guard. A real concern is that Iran is "schooling" the Venezuelan military. U.S. intelligence believes the flight is a secret pipeline of weapons and spies coming to America, and perhaps uranium heading back to Iran on the Boeing 747SP.

We are concerned about this flight, and how these agents might get into the U.S. from Caracas, Damascus and Beirut, or how staging sites may be established for attacks against us from Venezuela. Apparently we've watched this, and worried about it for 3-1/2 years.

Current and former U.S. intelligence official fear the flight is a shadowy way to move people and weapons to locations in Latin America that can be used as staging points for retaliatory attacks against the U.S. or its interests in the event Iranian nuclear sites are struck by U.S. or Israeli military forces.

"My understanding is that this flight not only goes from Caracas to Damascus to Tehran perhaps twice a month, but it also occasionally makes stops in Lebanon as well, and the passengers on that flight are not processed through normal Venezuelan immigrations or customs. They are processed separately when they come into the country," says Peter Brookes, senior fellow for National Security Affairs at the Heritage Foundation.

The 16-hour flight typically leaves Tehran and stops at Damascus International Airport (DAM), which is Syria's busiest. In 2009, almost 4.5 million passengers used the airport.

After a 90-minute layover, the flight continues the remaining 14 hours to Venezuela's Caracas Maiquetía International Airport (CCS). Upon arrival, the plane is met by special Venezuelan forces and sequestered from other arrivals.

"It says that something secretive or clandestine is going on that they don't want the international community to know about," says Brookes, a former deputy assistant defense secretary for Asian and Pacific Affairs and CIA employee.

"The fact that there is a flight is of course of interest, but the fact that not anybody can gain access to this flight or buy a ticket for that flight is of particular curiosity and should be of concern to the United States."

In addition to speculation about who is aboard, there are significant concerns that the Boeing 747SP airplane might be transporting uranium to Tehran on the return flight. The U.S. government has enacted strong sanctions against Iran because of its nuclear program and there are worries the flight might provide an opportunity to skirt the embargo against materials that might be used for the program.

The major concern is the direct flight from Tehran to Caracas. The "special" passengers of Iran Air 744 "may not even need visas."

I recently had a conversation with my brothers about Shariah Finance. I realized that I did not remember all that I knew about the subject, and it was time for a refresher. I went back to a previous post, the last half of which is about our U.S. Treasury supporting Shariah Compliant Finance, through the Harvard Law School's Project on Islamic Finance leadership. A part of that post included the video below, with the transcription of the video first.

This is such an important subject. I see one of my family member's investments held in an institution offering Shariah Financing, and one of the holdings is in a Shariah compliant fund shown below.

While you and the government focuses on the subprime mortgage collapse, there is another financial crisis brewing. There are rules for infidels like you and me. Either we convert to Islam, pay a protection tax or we are killed. Who practices such inhumane law? The governments of Saudi Arabia, Iran, Sudan, and radicals like the Taliban, and Al-Qaeda.

How did Shariah Finance become acceptable in the West? In the spirit of multiculturalism, political correctness, and greed gone way overboard, Wall Street has bought in to a multi-million dollar advertising campaign coming from the Middle East. We are being told that "quote, Muslims have religious banking requirements and if you create investments accord to Shariah Law, 1.2 billion Muslims, loaded with oil money, will beat a path to Wall Street. However, the majority of moderate Muslims worldwide, do not want anything to do with Shariah Law, or Shariah Finance.

Everyday Muslim leaders are warning about the dangers of Shariah Finance.

There is the Muslim Canadian Congress, American Islamic Forum for Democracy,  Muslims Against Shariah and many other Muslim moderates in the West, but no one is listening. You see, Shariah banking was created by Sheiks like al-Qaradawi, a terrorist banned from entering the U.S. and Britain. Yet as I speak, al-Qardawi says:

"I like to call it jihad with money because God has ordered us to fight our enemies with our lives and our money. ~ Sheik Yousuf al-Qardawi

The danger of Shariah Finance is not only that it is welcoming Shariah Law into our society, but a percentage of this money must go to Islamic charities. The problem is that since September 11th, twenty-seven Islamic charities have been identified by the U.S. government as funders of terrorism. Yes, America needs investment dollars, but are we willing to trade national security for it? There are ways to accept oil money into our economy, and protect our democracy without opening ourselves up to Shariah Law.

New evidence shows that al-Qaeda financed 9/11/01 attacks with funds received from Shariah Financing. Let me tell you what Wall Street is doing: First, they are marketing Shariah investment as the hot new product for all American pension funds insurance companies and corporations; Second, they are hiring religious sheiks to sit on advisory boards overseeing where and how to invest dollars to comply with Shariah Law. This is giving Muslim sheiks a seat of power at corporate headquarters all over America. In essence, Wall Street is welcoming Islamic Law into our banking system.

What is Wall Street not doing? First, Wall Street is not disclosing the connection between Shariah Law, the Taliban al-Qaeda and Iran. Second, Wall Street is not telling customers of the jihadi background of the Shariah experts they are hiring.

Many of your are customers of these financial institutions that are offering Shariah bonds, mutual funds, hedge funds, and insurance as legitimate and ethical.

What is driving the Shariah banking craze? Money and lots of it. The Middle East takes in over $1 trillion a year in oil profits. This translates to billions of dollars lining the pockets of investment banks, law firms, insurance companies and consultants. Today lawyers and consulting firms are the key drivers of the Shariah banking craze. In fact, Harvard Law School just hosted their 8th Annual Islamic Banking Conference, where these firms learn that this market is very ethical and culturally important. 

My colleagues were there. No one explained what Shariah Law is, it's link to terrorism and human rights abuses. Harvard Law is even teaching the U.S. Treasury about the opportunity of Islamic banking. I've had hedge fund managers and advisers to sovereign (inaudible) and bank CEOs say "if I don't do this deal, someone else will.  Make it illegal and I'll stop doing it."

 Maybe this all sounds crazy, but no more crazy than September 11th would have sounded on September 10th. No more crazy than our government needing to bailout our economy to the tune of $700 billion and the disasters at Bear Stearns, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Lehman Brothers.

You must wonder: Isn't someone telling the government about this? Yes we have. Over the past year my colleagues have sat down with top officials at the Security and Exchange Commissions, US Treasury, Attorney Generals offices, aides to Pres Bush and CEOs of banks.

We have provided them with detailed documentation. The response from the Treasury Department:

"I don't know what Shariah Law is, but it can't possibly be what you say it is." 

Another senior Treasury official said:

"We are not responsible for disclosure or transparency." 

The SEC said:

 "Wall Street is disclosing. They are saying that these religious investments can't invest in alcohol or pork." 

So let me ask you, how would you react if your pension fund invested in an ethical, no alcohol mutual fund, and then you discover that there is a relationship between your investment and terrorists killing U.S. soldiers and civilians.

In my opinion, that is securities and consumer fraud. We are selling our soul and our security for money. We have no time to waste. We the people must rise up and stop this.

Israeli IDF Saves Palestinian Girl: Palestinian Children Sing of Martyrdom

The first video is a Palestinian family whose 5 year old daughter was hit by a rock as she was riding in her parents car. The video appears to indicate the rock was thrown by Palestinians from surrounding hills. An Israeli IDF soldier stops and probably saves the girl's life. The second video is of Palestinian children singing of martyrdom and revenge.

The little Palestinian girl, Jana, is now paralyzed in some areas of her body. You see the Palestinian father and mother at first frightened of the military vehicle approaching and then you see the soldier visiting the family after Jana comes home from the hospital. This is the way Palestine should live with their neighbor. Israel is more than willing - just eliminate the calls for death to Jews. The world would be a much nicer place.

In the second video Palestinian children sing of revenge, of dying for Allah, and of martyrdom. A question is asked: "Without Palestine what meaning is there to childhood?' The unfortunate answer for these children is that they will never find peace, not because Israel is attacking them, but because Islam allows no peace if a Jew is anywhere in the area.

These children haven't a clue of the possibility of being grabbed by Hamas and used as a human shield. How uncivilized do you have to be to teach your children to sing and praise martyrdom?

Tariq Ramadan Comes to the U.S.

Tariq Ramadan is now enjoying the hospitality of the United States, denied to him under the Bush administration. He is Swiss-born and the grandson of Hasan al-Banna, the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood. The Bush administration didn't like his connections to Islamic terrorism, but since there is no such thing as Islamic terrorism, the Obama administration welcomed him to America.

In almost everything I read about Tariq Ramadan, he is described as a man with an amicable message...unless he is speaking to Arabic-speading audiences. This from Discover the Networks:

But to Arabic-speaking audiences, he vents his deep-seated hatred of the West and his endorsement of Wahhabism, the most extreme form of Islam. Moreover, Ramadan has numerous connections to fundamentalist Islamic militants and is suspected by U.S. intelligence agencies of maintaining ties with the terrorist group al Qaeda.

...this month, Tariq Ramadan, a prominent Muslim academic, visited the United States for the first time in six years after Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton reversed a decision by the Bush administration, which had barred Mr. Ramadan from entering the country, initially citing the U.S.A. Patriot Act. Mrs. Clinton also cleared the way for another well-known Muslim professor, Adam Habib, who had been denied entry under similar circumstances. 

Some call him an Islamist in disguise and a master of deception, and others call him an Islamic Superstar.

In the 1990s, Western liberals, alarmed at the presence of Islamic fundamentalists in their midst, turned in desperation to Muslims whom they dubbed “reformers” or “modernizers.” They hoped that these figures would have a moderating influence on disaffected Muslim youths who refused to integrate into Western society. One such “reformer” is Tariq Ramadan, a Swiss-born academic. Ramadan has won the confidence of many in the West, including the British government, which asked him to serve on its task force for preventing Islamic extremism. But as Caroline Fourest shows in her superbly documented book, which first appeared in French in 2004, Ramadan is not a worthy figure.

But in the U.S.the superstar gets a spread in The New Yorker. It is an interesting piece by George Packer who sat on a panel and had the opportunity to ask Ramadan a couple of questions, but before his questions, here are some of Packer's observations:

Ramadan—slim, famously handsome, graying in his frizzy hair and trim beard, wearing his habitual suit with open-neck shirt—was introduced as a wrongly banned speaker, and received an ovation. His opening remarks, which he’d been scribbling backstage on a piece of paper next to a bust of George Washington, congratulated the U.S. for allowing him in, thanked the free-speech groups that had fought for his entry, criticized American foreign policy in passing, and then affirmed the existence of multiple identities within individuals, urging Muslims to stop worrying about integration in the West and instead focus on contributing to their new homes....

Once Ramadan sat down, and the panel and audience got involved, he became much sharper. Hearing him talk for an hour and a half, you realized what he is and isn’t. He is not a philosopher, or an original thinker. He has been cast in that role by recent historical crises and his own ambition—the role of someone whom large numbers of people turn to for insight on a vast range of issues, from the Islamic texts to globalization, from unemployment in France to women’s rights. 

What he has to say about most subjects is garden-variety European leftism. When questions of Islam and Muslims join the debate, his stance is that of a reconciler: he wants to make it possible for young Muslims to affirm their religious faith as an identity while fully participating as citizens of secular democracies. That’s his main project, an important one, and it’s where he is at his best: as a kind of preacher to confused, questing young Muslims who want to know how to live, where they fit in. And because American Muslims are not a large and disenfranchised and angry minority in this country, I don’t think this calling leaves him with very much to say to audiences here....

An American Tariq Ramadan would likelier be talking to groups of young blacks or Hispanics.

NY Met Museum of Art Hides Mohammad: Met Submits to Religion of Peace

So you think this prestigious museum is not HIDING images of Mohammad? Well sure they are. Out of deference, or out of sheer terror of terror? Muslims have complained that it is not acceptable to display images of their prophet. So of course, the images are down. The museum's official line is, "they didn't fit the theme" of the current collection. See an amusing video below.

The museum is also dropping the word "Islamic" from Islamic Galleries, a new section of the Met scheduled to open in 2011. The New York Post  says it's Jihad Jitters, and says the new name will be "awkward." Islamic art expert, Kishwar Rizvi, said the Met has nothing to fear from Mohammed. He forgets that it's not Mohammed strapping on the suicide vests.

Almost comical that the NY Post would seek, and publish, opinion from Yale University, which refused to publish images of Mohammed in a book about…images of Mohammed.

A book, Muhammad: The “Banned” Images, was subsequently published with many images of Mohammed in response to Yale’s dhimmitude.

Dinah Lord says the removal of the images is "Dhimmi disgrace," and Gates of Vienna says it's "an infectious disease disease of sort and the vector is Islam...

Atlas Shrugs says the museum is commiting cultural jihad:

We are supposed to get on planes, go to stadiums and buck up but one of the world's greatest museums can't stand up for .....art.

If you cannot conceive that Muslims from the Religion of Peace might punish the Met, remember the Muhammad cartoon controversy of 2005? When cartoonist, Kurt Westergaard released the infamous cartoon of Muhammad wearing a bomb in his turban, all hell broke loose around the world. Saudia Arabia boycotted, death threats were issued, and on New Year's Day 2010, an attempt on Westergaard's life was made when a Somali Muslim armed with an axe and a knife broke into his home. Westergaard survived because he had a "panic room" and a stellar security set-up. This was at least the second time that a plot to kill Westergaard was thwarted. In 2008, three Muslims were charged with planning his murder.

The cartoon was inserted into Geert Wilders 2008 film Fitna, without Westergaard's permission (at least that's the story). The gaping gap in Hell broke even wider - fatwahs were issued. If you have not seen it, it is a must. Visit Moonbattery for the film and commentary.

Frankly, I understand The Met not wanting to risk the lives of their employees, and its famous and irreplaceable assets, but there has to be another way. Islam asks nothing more than submission from each and every one of us worldwide. We should not give it to them.

Amsterdam and the al-Qaeda Threat is Homeland Security Failure

The Christmas Day bomber, Abdu Mudallad's failed attack on Northwest's Flight 253, makes us thankful that his plot was foiled by alert passengers, but shows that security in the U.S. is also a failure at critical times. Abdul Mudallad was known to be a threat, with possible al-Qaeda ties, for at least two years, was on a federal "watch list" but not on the "no-fly list." Would anything have made a difference? Mudallad boarded the flight in Amsterdam with explosives strapped to his leg. See Update 12-27-09 below.

I can't get through airport security if the jewelry in my purse is wrapped in a dark velvet bag. How was this man allowed to board, and what is going on in the city of Amsterdam - a city with at least a population of 13% Muslims and the home to one of the most radical mosques in the country, Tawheed mosque, in the the Old-West section of the city?

 In 2006, the Netherlands' Minister of Justice suggested that Islamic Shari'a law be constitutionally adopted in the country, and a poll in the same year found that 68% of the citizens felt threatened by "immigrant or Muslim young people." Almost as many feared a terrorist attack by Muslims and a very astute 47% believed that if some action was not taken, they would eventually have to live according to Islamic rule in the Netherlands. Obviously the Justice Minister's idea of a good proposal for life in the Netherlands was shouted down.

After the 2004 murder of Theo van Gogh the country conducted an inquiry into the radicalization of young Muslims. The usual findings surfaced: a feeling of alienation, disconnectedness with their first-generation immigrant parents and no shared feeling of patriotism for their own country was prevalent. Obviously, immigrant parents do a miserable job of helping their child integrate, and feel gratitude for the liberty their friends and relatives are denied in Islamic lands, and in many cases, we have seen parents who push their children into jihadist fervor - I'm just guessing, but probably to alleviate their own guilt for living among the democratic. Having said that, there are rumors that Mutallad's father's report him to U.S. authorities six months ago!!! More on that as available.

Had the bomber been successful in blowing the plane in it's descent, imagine the catastrophe. While the loss of 298 passengers would have been horrific, think of the catapulting, flame engulfed monstrosity barreling into the Detroit airport, or into nearby neighborhoods or both. Think of the flying debris raining down onto highways. If, within a city like Amsterdam, we cannot be assured that explosives will be absent the leg of any traveler, what are we to do? This man, Abdul Mudallad, was granted a U.S. visa in June 2008, good through June 12th of 2010. The world is in a mess because we refuse to face our future.

Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab (Abdul Matallad) was officially charged with trying to blow up the Northwest airliner on Christmas Day - placing a destructive device on Flight 253.

The video below reports that a wall of the plane was on fire.

The egregious Homeland Security Secretary, Janet Napolitano believes this attempted bombing has no connection to a wider plan of attacks on the U.S.  - displaying here long-held belief that accusations of terrorism are offensive to the worldview.

Abdulmutallab's father, Umaru Mutallab, says he reported his son to the American Embassy in Lagos, Nigeria because he feared his son had been radicalized.

Obama Hands Afghanistan to Taliban

A Wall Street Journal report says President Obama is against building the ranks of the Afghan police to the levels suggested by General McChrystal.

The president has a realistic view of how successful the training regimen can be, and that has helped inform his decision," a senior administration official said Sunday.

U.S. Troops and Afghan Police

If this report is true, we can see this as nothing other than handing the country to the Taliban. If we doubt that Afghanistan can have a "successful training regimen" to protect their own country, why are we there?

Mr. Obama is expected to outline broad performance goals for the Afghan government, including improvements in tackling corruption and taking control of security.

The U.S. military police in Kandahar say progress takes time and can be hard to measure. U.S. troops say some Afghan patrolmen seem honest and competent; others fear Taliban assassination and rarely venture out of their stations at night without a coalition escort.

"They have their good days and they have their bad days, said 2nd Lt. Danielle Champagne, a 24-year-old from Houma, La., and leader of Black Sheep -- 1st Platoon of the 293rd Military Police Co., the only regular U.S. force based inside Kandahar.

Inside one police outpost, Lt. Col. Abdul Qader, the Afghan station commander, said he hopes Mr. Obama uses the moment to force a crackdown on Afghan public corruption. "The police always arrest the Taliban, but when they go to court, they pay a bribe and get released," Col. Qader said.

In the bleak war assessment that he delivered to Mr. Obama earlier this year, Gen. McChrystal called for expanding the Afghan army to 240,000 and the Afghan police to 160,000, roughly twice the size of their current growth plans. The proposal initially found support within the administration, where senior officials have talked openly about wanting to quickly transfer security responsibility to Afghan forces.

But as the months-long administration strategy review has worn on, Vice President Joe Biden and other senior administration officials have become skeptical that the Afghan central government could retain, train and support so large a force, even with considerable Western support.

For U.S. forces in Afghanistan, meanwhile, the expected troop surge can't come fast enough. "We could use as many troops as possible," said Staff Sgt. Jeff Schaffer, a 25-year-old Black Sheep squad leader. "It's ridiculous to think you can tame a city like this with as few people as we have."

This is the opposite strategy of the very successful Iraq surge, which cleared and held, and trained.

Nidal Hasan, the shooter in the Fort Hood murders, received a damning review from the program director of the Psychiatry Residency Training program at Walter Reed Medical Center.

According to National Public Radio (NPR), Major Scott Moran wrote a letter to the "Credentials Committee" at several military hospitals, including Walter Reed, a Naval medical center and an Air Force medical center. The subject of the memo was" Cpt. Nidal Hasan" and is dated May 17, 2007. Moran says the memo "is based on my personal knowledge of and the doucmented incidences in Cpt. Hasan's Resident Training File.

Readers: If you know of any White or Black soldier that would be promoted to the rank of Major, make your story good, because I don't think I'll believe it.

CNN could not corroborate the authenticity of the memo nor reach Moran for comment. Last week, Moran said he could not comment about differing accounts of Hasan's behavior and disciplinary record.

The Faculty has serious concerns about CPT Hasan’s professionalism and work ethic. Clinically he is competent to deliver safe patient care. But he demonstrates a pattern of poor judgment and a lack of professionalism.

In his PGY-2 year, he was counseled for inappropriately discussing religious topics with his assigned patients. He also required a period of in-program remediation when he was discovered to have not documented appropriately an ER encounter with a homicidal patient who subsequently eloped from the ER. He did successfully remediate this problem.

At the end of his PGY-2 year, he was placed on administrative probation by the NCC GMEC for failure to take and pass USMLE Step 3 and to obtain an unrestricted state medical license by the end of his PGY-2 year; as a result he was not promoted to PGY-3 on time. He did eventually complete step 3 and get a license and was promoted to PGY-3.

He was counseled for having a poor record of attendance at didactics and lower than expected PRITE scores. One year he failed to show for his PRITE examination at all. During his PGY-3 year, he was counseled for being consistently late to NNMC morning report.

During his PGY-4 year, he was discovered to have only seen 30 outpatients in 38 week of outpatient continuity clinic. He was required to make this missed clinic time up using his elective. He failed his HGT/WGT screening and was found to be out of standards with body fat % and was counseled on that.

Lastly, he missed a night of call for MGMC ER and then did not respond to
numerous pages by my office the next day. 

4. Take together; these issues demonstrate a lack of professionalism and work ethics. He is able to self-correct with supervision. However, at this point he should not need so much supervision. In spite of all of this, I am not able to say he is not competent to graduate nor do I think a period of academic probation now at the end of his training will be beneficial. He would be able to contain his behavior enough to complete any period of probation successfully.

My purpose in writing this letter is to give the credentials committee the benefit of full disclosure and the opportunity to modify CPT Hasan’s plan of supervision following initial privileging. 

5. I did discuss this memo with CPT Hasan and informed him I would be adding it to his initial credentialing paperwork.

Despite Maj. Moran's evaluation, Hasan was promoted from Captain to Major, sent to Fort Hood to get him away from Walter Reed, and now 14 are dead and many injured.

Baitullah Mehsud is Alive: Baitullah Meshud is Dead

A Taliban leader with a $5 million American reward on his head is thought to be dead from an drone attack in South Waziristan, Pakistan, but a friend says that report is "ridiculous." Baitullah Mehsud is alive, or he may be dead. See update below. Update 8-25-09 Baitullah Mehsud confirmed dead. Details below. Latest update 10-5-09.

Members of the Mehsud tribe consider Baitullah Mehsud their leader. He is believed to command as many as 20,000 Taliban. So far, reports of his probable death by drone strike have not been disproved. In other words, he has sent no message to prove that he is alive and the West has no concrete evidence that he was hit in the strike but have said they are increasingly confident that they got him, this time.

That confidence may come from the fact that the drone hit the home of Baitullah Mehsud's father-in-law's home. One report says one of his aides told the AP by phone that he died along with his wife, or at least his "second" wife. In another, the aide is quoted, as well as a local tribesman saying he attended the funeral. Odd that the AP can ring-up the Taliban on one of the harshest battlefields in the world but allied forces cannot follow the pings to take them out.

Pakistani officials have complained that the US has failed to hit Mehsud with drone attacks despite them having supplied co-ordinates three times. The reason they gave was that Mehsud has been more focused against Pakistan in his militancy rather than fully directing his militants against Nato in Afghanistan.

Mehsud is said to hate publicity and particularly photography. Perhaps it is not unusual that he will make no claims to be alive, if indeed he is alive.

Mehsud is or was a hardliner. Even among his peers, he is considered extraordinarily dedicated to holy war against allied forces. In November 2007, Baitullah Mehsud told the BBC: "Only jihad can bring peace to the world."

In March, Weasel Zippers reported that Baitullah Mehsud "promised an assault on Washington 'soon' - one he said that will 'amaze' the world." This after claiming responsibility for the attack on a Pakistan police academy in Lahore leaving 18 dead and more than 100 wounded.

As within any organization, even one fighting in the wilderness of Afghanistan, position within an organization is power, and it is believed the "friend" calling American reports of the demise of Mehsud "ridiculous" may be preparing to succeed the leader. While Commander Hakimullah Mehsud says the reports are the work of propaganda, he also say Baitullah Mehsud is adopting the tactics of Osama bin Laden and will "stay silent."

Update 8-8-08 4:15 pm CDT:
The story of what seems to be Baitullah Mehsud's demise can be attributed to his desire to have a son in addition to his four daughters by his first wife. With a new wife in the family, and the couple at the home of the new wife's father, perhaps a son would be delivered. Baitullah was diabetic and not feeling well. A doctor was tending to him:

As he lay on a couch on the roof tended by his new wife, somewhere high up in the clear starry sky a distant unmanned plane was hovering, invisible to the naked eye. Its cameras locked in on him, a command was given thousands of miles away in the Nevada desert, and two Hellfire missiles tore into the mudwalled building.
Afterwards a Pakistani intelligence officer based in the nearest town, Makeen, said Mehsud’s torso had been “totally damaged except for his head”.

It just isn't proper to have daughters when you're a distinguished Taliban leader. There is no celebratory gunfire for the birth of a daughter. How frustrating. Four daughters! It appears he died without a son, his second wife along with him, and seven body guards that could do little to save him from the eagle eye of the American drone.

Baitullah Mehsud was a big catch, and perhaps the biggest for the drone program. He is believed to have behind the death of Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto in December 2007.

When a former leader was also killed by a Predator drone and replaced by Abdullah Mehsud - who was released by Americans at Guantanamo, Baitullah proved the stronger leader and Abdullah lost his leadership.

Update 8-25-09:
According to this report, Baitullah Mehsud has been CONFIRMED dead. The puzzling confirmation comes via a joint phone call from Hakimullah Mehsud and Waliur Rehman, saying that their leader Baitullah Mehsud was martyred on August 23, 2009, but the truth seems to be that Baitullah died on August 5th as reported above.

Walter Cronkite a World Federalist: Sitting at the right hand of Satan

CBS anchorman Walter Cronkite retired from his position as "the most trusted man in America" in 1981. America thought they knew all there was to know about this distinguished newsman that they invited into their home each evening. The truth is, we didn't have a clue, and we certainly didn't know what he was doing behind the scenes. Walter Cronkite was a World Federalist and in that vein, he said he was happy to sit at the right hand of Satan. The background is that Walter Cronkite was a member of the World Federalist Movement. Norman Cousins was a past president of the organization. The World Federalists want a new world order of international law and international justice for individuals. The World Federalist Movement headquarters, known as the Institute for Global Policy, is located in New York City across from the United Nations. The best estimate of membership is between 30,000 and 50,000 members. The video below is a bit long, so I've transcribed portions if you do not have time to watch the entire "event." Norman Cousins introduces Walter Cronkite and presents the Norman Cousins Global Governance Award to him. Cousins lauds Cronkite for being a lifelong advocate of the principal of world governance. Cousins either quotes Cronkite as saying "world governance is the structure necessary for global justice," or this is a statement made by Cousins in his introduction. The video is not clear on who said what. Cronkite takes the podium and honors Cousins by saying he had hoped to address Cousins as "Mr. President," one day. In Cronkite's remarks he opens with "the first priority of human kind is to establish an effective system of world law that will assure peace and justice among peoples of all the world." He says that as a journalist, "I had my own strong opinions and I put them aside, now however my circumstances are considerably different and I'm in a position to speak my mind, and by God, I'm going to do it:

[We have the opportunity to] influence the future of civilization, whether our planet is going to live or die, to drift into chaos and violence or whether through a monumental educational and political effort we will achieve a world of peace under a system of law where individual violators of that law are brought to justice.

Cronkite says our belief in war is a "savage" belief.

We Americans are going to have to yield-up some of our sovereignty. That's going to be to many a bitter pill. It will take a lot of courage, a lot of faith, a lot of persuasion for them to come along with us in this necessity. Our forefathers believe that the closer the laws are to the people, the better...

He speaks about the duty of the federal government being interstate commerce, etc., but:

...today we must develop federal structures on a global level to deal with world problems. We need a system of enforceable w law, a democratic federal world government. What Alexander Hamilton wrote about the need for law among the 13 states applies today to the approximately 200 sovereigntys in our global village, all of which are going to need to give up some of that sovereignty to the better greater union and it's not going to be easy.

Most important we should sign and ratify the treaty for a permanent international criminal court. That is now at the core of the World Federalist Movement's drive. That court will enable the world to hold individuals accountable for their crimes against humanity. Pat Robertson wrote in a book a few years ago saying that we should have "a world government but only when the Messiah arrives. Any attempt to achieve world order before that time must be the work of the devil." Well, join me. I'm glad to sit here at the right hand of Satan. Let us hear the peal of a new international liberty bell that calls us all to the creation of a system of enforceable world law in which the universe's desire for peace can place its hope and its prayers.

To believe that a world court designed to administer justice to individuals, in order to get that peace, is either incredibly naive or traitorous. Cronkite has the audacity to quote our Founders, with no credit for the hard-fought battle that they lived through, yet believes we should be subject to a world court. Had there been a world court in the days of Alexander Hamilton, Mr. Cronkite would have been a subject of Queen Elizabeth - if indeed the Muslim world had allowed her to reign. In 2000, President Bill Clinton signed the International Criminal Court (ICC) treaty. Congress did not, and has not, ratified the treaty. In 2002, the U.S. notified the United Nations that we will not be bound by the treaty, which is touted to be the best and only way to enforce human rights. Kenneth Roth, then director of Human Rights Watch said:

Unsigning the treaty will not stop the court. It will only throw the United States into opposition against the most important new institution for enforcing human rights in 50 years," he said.

The court itself still has enough international support to begin work in The Hague next year - but without US backing, correspondents say it will be a far less powerful and effective player on the world stage.

Fortunately, Congress understood that our military, our diplomats and our executive branch would be in great jeopardy if any power is given to a world court. Today, we have a very different Congress. The past few days have brought calls for the beheading of some prominent Brit's in retribution for Israel's "offensive" in Gaza. The first two are from the UK Daily Mail Online, and the third from the Dow Jones Newswire. The first link, high profile, documents the naming of Brits placed on an "anti-Semitic hit list on Islamic fundamentalist website."

Fanatics in an online forum are said to have begun building a 'hit list' which includes leading Jews from the worlds of politics and entertainment including Tony Blair's close friend Labour peer Lord Levy and Amy Winehouse record producer Mark Ronson.

The second link, anti-Islamic activity, headlines this: Government renames Islamic terrorism as 'anti-Islamic activity' to woo Muslims.

Home Secretary Jacqui Smith said that extremists were behaving contrary to their faith, rather than acting in the name of Islam.

Security officials believe that directly linking terrorism to Islam is inflammatory, and risks alienating mainstream Muslim opinion.

The punishment for their murder is bearable, living amongst their brothers in a 5 star prison with bed, board, TV, and computer games, and when they are eventually released from prison and allowed to stay in our Country under Human Rights laws they will then be given all the benefits possible from the State. People find reality hard to believe; that this type of reality is not real out there in our society, until one day the Country is awoken to a horrific act and someone is murdered never to return. Just like Theo Van Goth for example in Amsterdam. If you are a potential target for the Islamic militants and their supporters for whatever reason, then who is to say that it will not be your murder that the Country awakens too? Think about it! For the militants to find their target is not too difficult considering they have Moslem brothers and sisters working on the inside of many >institutions that go towards the running of our Country. There was a case recently of Moslems in Britain aligned to Al Qaeda arrested with detailed information for targeting members of the Royal family, so if they can trace them, they can trace you. For Sir Alan Sugar, he has had Moslems working for him who know some of his day to day business movements. His security is already breached, and for anyone else who is a potential target - look around to see if your security is also breached. It might not be politically correct to think and say such things, but isn't it better to be safe than sorry? Where is a Moslem's loyalty, the infidel or the Ummah? Could Moslems in Britain target a high profile person and murder them? It hasn't happened yet but that does not mean it cannot happen, or will not happen. A group of militant Moslems were arrested recently for targeting the publisher of a book about Mohamed's child bride, so the examples and intent are there for us to learn from. The IRA targeted and murdered Lord Mountbatten on the streets of Britain and it doesn't get much higher profile than that, so never say that Al Qaeda will never carry out such a high profile assassination. It just hasn't happened yet. What is this World coming to? And what is our Country coming to with this (Islam) now in our midst? This is the reality that many now face within Great Britain, from those high profile members of society like members of the Royal family who have found themselves on a Moslem hit list for assassination, down to us peasants, now having to live our day to day lives around an Al Qaeda enclave in Britain. This is reality, although nobody seems to want to face it or do anything about it. Large scale terrorist attacks are not the only threat to our Nation. There are targeted murder's of the enemies of Islam and Moslems that do not get reported in the media, and there is the day to day street Jihad (military campaign) growing under the surface of reality, out of sight and mind, with all aspects of the Islamic Kingdom growing in strength and threatening and intimidating those around it. Quote from the Koran: "Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Apostle, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth [i.e. Islam] (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued" (9:29). Only one Kingdom will survive into the future now upon these Isles, the Queens Kingdom to which we and our children belong, or the Islamic kingdom where all Moslems belong. When will people wake up and realise that Islam is not a 'religion of peace?' It is a 'religion of war' which is now 3 –6 million strong in our Country and the perception that the uninformed masses are being given about Islam is nothing but a big fat lie. So what does the future hold? Think about it! This inadvertent call for the beheading of Glen Jenvey, and the newspaper reporters who ran the story of high profile British Jews, was aimed at the leader of the Ummah in Britain, who they call the Emir. This is the Emir of the 7/7 bombings in London, who it is believed set up the attack and recruited Mohammed Siddque Khan the lead bomber. He is also believed to be the Emir of the 'Fertiliser plot' that was stopped under 'Operation Crevice' which was the largest anti-terror operation at that point in British history. This is around the area where I live, and this is my reality. The Emir's of the military wing of Islam are out there in our Country now, they are the leaders of the Islamic guerilla armies upon our streets who are linked to Al Qaeda and the Taliban in Afghanistan/Pakistan.
