If you ask me, the folks at Right Network were a bit too kind to Madame Speaker. But this is still funny.
See ya' Nancy, don't let the door hit ya' on the way out!

John Dennis Nancy Pelosi Video: A Few Good Debts starring House Witc
John Dennis is challenging Nancy Pelosi for her House seat. No one seems to think he has a chance, yet SF Weekly says "he'getting there." The video below is a FilmLadd production, and a take-off of A Few Good Men, which Pelosi has none of so, A Few Good Debts titled the video perfectly.
Before the video, look at this:
An internal poll conducted over the summertime revealed that roughly 35 percent of local Democrats and Independents were fed up with Pelosi's leadership. That led SF Weekly to do some math.
Pelsoi was re-elected last year with 220,000 votes, or 71 percent of the vote (next runner-up Cindy Sheehan received 46,000 votes, or 16 percent). If 35 percent of Democrats who supported Pelosi did abandon her and vote for Dennis, that'd be another 75,000 votes. So if they all voted for Dennis, that'd be 121,000 votes to Pelosi's 150,000.
Keep in mind that former Board of Supervisors president Matt Gonzalez endorsed John Dennis, as did Sheehan. That's getting there... but even all this is a stretch...Dennis is not the kind of candidate conservatives describe as "conservative," but he is a businessman, and an entrepreneur - hopefully favorable to business and 'real' jobs. We need as many jobs-maker as we can get in the House. We can worry about the rest later.
Rome wasn't built in a day. Perhaps this race is a precursor to November 2012. Dennis has done a great job and who knows? I expect that Pelosi owns the press, and if Dennis was hotter than a pistol, I doubt we'd know about it.

Eleanor Holmes Norton Voicemail: Norton Asks Lobbyist for Contribution
D.C. Delegate to Congress, and privileged to use the moniker "Congresswoman" Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) called a lobbyist and left a voicemail directly and very clearly asking for a contribution sent directly to her. In the audio below, she leaves her P.O. box, so you can contribute to her also, if you want to do so.
Norton seems perplexed that this particular lobbyist has never given her a contribution, and she mentions that donations have been made to other members of her committee. As a senior committee member, Norton brashly asks to paid for her "long and deep work" on the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee.
(Isn't that the Taj Mahal Pelosi and Norton are standing in front of? I think it is. No doubt we taxpayers paid for that trip.)
BigGovernment broke this story and they some analyzation: At the beginning of the tape Norton mentions other on her committee who have received contributions from this lobbyist.
Beyond being a bit heavy-handed, where did she get this information? Such donations are listed in FEC reports, but it is a violation to use that information to solicit campaign donations.
More serious, however, is her frequent mention of her seniority and her Chairmanship of a subcommittee. She is attempting to solicit funds based on her past actions taken in her official capacity in Congress. She is implying to the lobbyist that, should he decline to donate, he will be turning down a senior member of Congress who Chairs a subcommittee highly relevant to his “sector”.
Worse than that, she details her role overseeing a large economic development project in the District, funded by “stimulus” funds. It would appear that either the lobbyist has an interest in this project, or the Congresswoman thinks he does, as she states she is “frankly surprised” the lobbyist hasn’t given to her. Especially, she notes, because of her long and deep work …in fact it has been by major work on the committee and subcommittee it’s been essentially in your sectorAccording to BigGovernment, it is a misdemeanor to ask for a "reward" via a contribution (18 U.S.C. § 600), and a misdemeanor to threaten to deny anyone government benefit if a contribution is not made (18 U.S.C. § 601).
Then there are House Ethics rules that she seems to have breached.
p. 147: “[N]o solicitation of a campaign or political contribution may be linked to an action taken or to be taken by a Member … in his or her official capacity. … The Standards Committee has long advised Members … that they should always exercise caution to avoid even the appearance that solicitations of campaign contributions are connected in any way with an action taken or to be taken in their official capacity. …
p. 150: “[A] Member may not accept any contribution that is linked with an action that the Member has taken or is being asked to take. A corollary of these rules is that Members … are not to take or withhold any official action on the basis of the campaign contributions or support of the involved individualsIt is considered unethical to solicit funds on federal property. From where did she make the call? As a "delegate," Norton can sit in the House chamber, but can only vote in committee. Norton, of course, is a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus and the Congressional Black Caucus.
The Lonely Conservative acknowledges "crooked" Democrats as the norm, but asks if the party will "mind one that's crooked and stupid?" I don't think they will, LC. Maxine Waters and Hank Johnson are still around.
Read the entire text of the phone call at BigGovernment, along with more on the corruption, and listen to it below.

Bobby Bright Nancy Pelosi: Bobby Bright Jokes About Nancy Pelosi Dying
The Montgomery Advertiser:Speaking at a local Chamber of Commerce event, Bright "joked that Pelosi might lose her own election, decide not to run for the speaker’s job or otherwise not be available,"
He then suggested "jokingly" that Pelosi could fall ill and die in the coming months, thus preventing him from having to vote for her as Speaker. His remarks reportedly drew laughter from the audience. From The Hill (take a look at the comments on this article)
The Montgomery Advertiser says the race between Bright and Republican Martha Roby will be one of the most competitive in the Nation this fall. If you can donate to Martha, or want to know more about her, visit her Roby for Congress website here. The Cook Political Report lists Bright's seat as leaning Democratic, but he represents a district that Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) won in the 2008 presidential race with 68 percent of the vote.

Pelosi to Investigate Ground Zero Mosque Protesters: Who is Funding the Protesters
Nancy Pelosi is so out of touch with America that she can't believe we will not protest this abhorrent idea of this victory mosque without someone paying for it. She believes the protest is political and calls building it or not is an "urban development" decision.
From The Washington Times: AUDIO
"There is no question there is a concerted effort to make this a political issue by some. And I join those who have called for looking into how is this opposition to the mosque being funded," she said. "How is this being ginned up that here we are talking about Treasure Island, something we've been working on for decades, something of great interest to our community as we go forward to an election about the future of our country and two of the first three questions are about a zoning issue in New York City."
Calls to investigate the funding for those proposing $100 million "Cordoba House" have fallen on deaf ears, though, as New York's Mayor Mike Bloomberg has described such an investigation as "un-American."Note that Mayor Bloomberg said investigating where the money to build the mosque comes from is "unAmerican," but it is apparently not "unAmerican" to poke around in the American grassroots dislike of this victory trophy mosque.

Pelosi CLEAR Act Adds Billions in New Taxes: CLEAR TakeOver of State Authority on Permits: Pelosi Bans Oil Spill Investigation
Both the House and the Senate have already approved an independent commission, with unanimous bipartisan votes:
Unlike the commission set up by President Obama -- packed only with environmental activists and no petroleum engineers -- the commission unanimously approved by the Natural Resources committee would be comprised of technical experts to study the actual events leading up to the Deepwater Horizon disaster....
“By deleting the bipartisan, independent oil spill commission that’s received bipartisan support in both House and Senate committees, Democrats have shown they are more interested in protecting the President than getting independent answers to what caused this tragic Gulf spill. Some of the biggest failures that contributed to the Gulf disaster are the direct responsibility of the federal government...The CLEAR Act is expected to be voted on Friday. The highlights:
1) Creates over $30 billion in new mandatory spending for two programs that have nothing to do with the oil spill
2) Raises taxes by over $22 billion in ten years – with the taxes eventually climbing to nearly $3 billion per year.
3) Requires the federal takeover of state authority to permit in state waters, which reverses sixty years of precedent.
4) Allows 10% of all offshore revenues – an amount possibly as high as $500 million per year – to be spent on a new fund controlled by the Interior Secretary to issue ocean research grants (ORCA fund). The lesson is, the BP oil spill will be blamed for all energy and environmental woes in the future. Dems Refuse Unemployment Benefits from Obama's Stash: Checks are Job Creators
Republicans refused to add $33 billion+ to the Nation's soaring deficit for extended unemployment benefits, and want them paid for by Obama's economic recovery stash. Dems say the stash is for jobs. Nancy Pelosi said unemployment checks "creates jobs faster than almost any other initiative you can name." So what is the problem? Obama's economic recovery stash is for jobs, the checks create jobs, so use the stash! See the video below.
Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and all Republicans except RINOS Olympia Snowe (R-Maine) and Susan Collins (R-Maine), proposed actually paying for the extension with stimulus funds - otherwise known as Obama's stash. Unable to get a bill passed, the Senate left for the holiday weekend early.
In spite of the Democrats own Pay-Go rules, indicating the American public might hope spending is paid before being spent, Senator Richard Durbin (D-IL) said unemployment benefits are "emergency spending," and not bound by Pay-Go.
At some point, after months of benefit extensions, we have to ask when an extension has become a part of the Democrat agenda. The administration's policies have the private sector awaiting their tax bomb, their healthcare bomb, the regulations bomb, and the continuing demise of their investments - and business owners are not hiring. It is not a surprise, it's a conclusion - a result of bad policy that seems to have no end.
Democrat Senator Ben Nelson (NE) voted with Republicans, shunning the Liberal mindset voiced by Senator Richard Durbin (D-IL) in an interview with the Washington Examiner:
We've never done it, Durbin said. And it is counterintuitive that to stop a recession we have to take spending away from one area and put it into another. We need to put money into the economy.Senator Saxby Chambliss' (R-GA) mid-June comment about benefit extensions was used in part by the Georgia Democrat Party, quoting only half of it, and then tried to make a point that Chambliss supported benefit extensions but had voted against them "multiple times." The Georgia Dems quoted this:
During a time of economic hardship, I don't believe we should allow provisions such as the extension of emergency unemployment benefits to expire. What they omitted is this:
But I do believe that when we extend these programs, we should do so in a responsible fashion. Congresss should find a way to pay for those extensions. The Tulsa World (h/t to hubby)
The bill would extend unemployment payments for up to a total of 99 weeks...through the end of November, at a cost of $33.9 billion. The money would have been borrowed from, adding to the budget deficit....They [Republicans] proposed using unspent money from President Barack Obama's massive 2009 economic recovery package.
Democrats rejected the offer, saying the money was needed for jobs programs. Republicans said the stimulus package included plenty of lawmakers' pet projects that could be cut to cover the unemployment benefits. Here we are back at Nancy Pelosi's claim that unemployment checks are a big job creator. If Democrats actually believe her, and stand behind her ridiculous comment, then use the job recovery stash for extended benefits.

Nancy Pelosi Predicts House GOP Majority
This is just too good. Nancy Pelosi is asking supporters to donate NOW to help prevent "subpoenas and investigations" resulting from a GOP majority. I'll say that again: Pelosi sees a House GOP majority coming at her fast, and she is in full-panic mode.
Mama Pelosi is just trying to protect Barack Obama, but could she also be personally concerned? Remember the Eric Massa scandal? Remember Air Pelosi and the abuse of her air force plane - her family riding - without her, in fact without anyone from the House traveling? How about Nancy's own personal 'torture' scandal...calling the CIA liars even though tapes clearly show she is the liar. How about the "dirty deals, open threats, broken promises and disregard for democracy that pushed ObamaKare through the deeply flawed U.S. House of Representatives. Healthcare was purchased with domestic terrorism.
From Pelosi's fundraising letter (The Hill):
Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), the ranking member of the House Government Reform and Oversight Committee, has shown himself willing and eager to be a thorn in the side of the Obama administration on everything from the BP oil spill to the Joe Sestak job offer. Few doubt that he would use a chairmanship to ramp up those efforts.
Nancy failed to drain her swamp, as promised. The dirty mess still stands and is beyond foul.
From Darrell Issa:
"Obviously, Speaker Pelosi believes that a Democratic Congress should give this administration immunity from legitimate questions and appropriate accountability," Issa said. "Her statements are indicative of the desperate state her Majority is in and if the best case she can make is to caution the American people against the dangers of conducting legitimate and vigorous oversight, she is welcome to make that case."Don't get me wrong. I'm not counting the seats before they're won, but Pelosi might be. I wonder if she takes an aspirin a day?

Nancy Pelosi San Fran Office Cost $18,736 a Month: Architect Takes on San Fran Fatties
A new federal building in San Francisco is home to Nancy Pelosi. The price tag to the taxpayer is $18,736 per month. The high-living, high-spending California wine maven, House Speaker and omnipotent megalomaniac, moved to the new building last Fall to occupy a "greener" space - and gain 1,000 square feet in office space. The building's architect designed elevators forcing employees to take the stairs, and use umbrellas in their "cubicles" to keep the sun off - employees say the building is a green nightmare.
I see no estimate of Pelosi's rent in the "old office building," but her spokesman says the new space will cost taxpayers less due to lessened energy costs, which includes heating, cooling and lighting an additional 1,000 square feet. How stupid do they think we are?
Pelosi's constituency hasn't significantly expanded in size, but her San Francisco staff has increased to a size that requires a larger space for files
Roll Call reported Monday that Pelosi's new office space costs almost double that of the next-highest rental office held by a House member. Rep. Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., reportedly pays just under $10,600 a month for his office in New York's Soho neighborhood.
The first fact about the building that may cause surprise is its lack of air conditioning or heat. According to Mayne, “a bike rack and air conditioning get you the same point. [Mayne is the architect].
When I spoke with a Labor Department worker at the building (who noted that she is encountering the type of bad work conditions that her agency is supposed to enforce against), she confirmed what might have been an urban legend: that some employees must use umbrellas to keep the sun out of their cubicles.
The architect, further concerned about the city's fatties, put the building's cafeteria across the street and told the workers to take a hike.
Tsk, tsk, the greenies planning this nightmare "failed to secure LEED approval. LEED is The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, and it rates "Green Building."
But the project’s failure to satisfy LEED’s scoring system is not the problem. Rather, it is that the federal government spent millions over budget to create a building that does not provide a minimally satisfactory work environment.
And the project’s huge cost overruns and functional inadequacies have apparently been ignored solely due to excitement over its “Green” stature.Unintended consequences strikes again. Pelosi decided to boost the building's image and move in. I'm sure she will get that LEEDS-rating-thingey fixed pronto.

Obama $50 billion for State Local Aid: Pelosi Hecklers Get Paid
Nancy Pelosi was relentlessly heckled in a recent speech. The hecklers were members of her usually adoring choir. This time, her minions were unhappy with her. They wanted more state aid to fund her massive programs. It appears her own personal knight in shining armor, Barack Obama, has rushed to her aid and on Saturday (yes, on Saturday) asked Congress for a fast $50 BILLION for what he sees as "emergency aid." The emergency is placating Nancy Pelosi's voters. See a video below.
President Obama urged reluctant lawmakers Saturday to quickly approve nearly $50 Billion in emergency aid to state and local governments, saying the money is needed to avoid "massive layoffs of teachers, police and firefighters" and to support the still-fragile economic recovery.
In a letter to congressional leaders, Obama defended last year's huge economic stimulus package, saying it helped break the economy's free fall, but argued that more spending is urgent and unavoidable. "We must take these emergency measures," he wrote in an appeal aimed primarily at members of his own party.
House Minority Leader, John Boehner (R-OH) said he was at the White House on Thursday and there was no mention of a $50 Billion bombshell hitting the American people. He also reminds that there is no budget out of the House this year.
But House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) argued the president wants to use money already approved in the stimulus act to fund struggling state budgets.
“The money that has already been appropriated in the Recovery Act, that has not been spent could be spent now,” Hoyer responded. “We can’t stimulate and depress at the same time.If the money is already tagged and approved for state aid, why is Obama asking for it? Something smells like dead fish:
White House chief of staff Rahm Emmanuel has said that the administration wants to both cut spending and stimulate the economy in the coming months. If Obama can accomplish this, with much of Congress up for re-election in November, then he is a wizard...or Congress is as more corrupt than we can begin to comprehend. But from a Democrat point-of-view, outraging moderate Democrats, Independents and Conservatives may be preferable to standing on principle against Unions. A note about the graphic above: without a Federal Budget, the CBO can hardly project debt or deficits on a downward path. Related information on Deficits and Debt at Seeking Alpha.

Pelosi Heckled: Nancy Pelosi Americas Future Now Code Pink Conf Heckled - Relentlessly
How refreshing is this? The heckling goes on and on as Pelosi speaks to America's Future Now, a progressive group...the evening said to be hosted by Code Pink. Confusion reigned. She was heckled relentlessly. Hear one of her aides say, "They're throwing stuff. We need to leave."She doesn't leave. See two videos below.
You'll hear protesters beg for funding for their states, and if I understand this correctly, they love the progressive freebies coming courtesy of taxpayers, but they want more money to flow.
FireDogLake reports this:
OK, so I got a little more information on the nature of the protest. The group ADAPT, which fights for the rights of the disabled, organized it. Madeleine McMahon, an activist with ADAPT, told me that Speaker Pelosi has refused to support the Community Choice Act (HR1670), which would remove a mandate in Title XIX of the Social Security Act that all states receiving Medicaid funding provide nursing home services, making community-based alternatives optional. 2/3 of federal dollars for long term care in Medicaid must support nursing homes under current law.

Mexico Matricular Cards Catalina Island: Mexico Issues Matriculars to Illegals
I'm not sure of the full scope or meaning of this, but Mexico has opened an office on Catalina Island to issue "matricular cards" to Mexicans their whether legal or illegal. The L.A. office issued a fliwe announcing the new office located at the Catalina Island Country Club.
After 9/11, when the Mexican government realized amnesty was not going to happen, they began to lobby Congress to make the matricular card a viable avenue for illegals (let's face it - legals do not need a matricular card, or any assistance from the Mexican government.
In 2004, Congress voted down a motion to prevent financial institutions from accepting these matricular cards for securing a loan. So apparently there is a ruse that these cards, also known as a CID, actually mean something. But...but...banks love this, and have given it a name, the "Hispanic Banking Initiative."
In America's southwest, the use of this form of i.d. has become pandemic. It is accepted at major banks for opening a new account, recognized by many local police departments as a legitimate form of i.d., and is even deemed suitable for the purpose of obtaining a driver's license in several states.
Disappointingly, elected officials from both parties are seeking to expand the acceptance of the Matricular Consular. One obvious reason is that Mexican citizens working in the U.S. transfer an estimated $12 to 13 billion annually back to their home nation. They also open bank accounts here to facilitate these transfers.Shocking to me, is that beautiful Catalina Island is now a drug smuggling and human trafficking haven - and we are letting the Mexican government give aid and comfort and methods of deception to illegal aliens.
Nancy Pelosi is a major supporter of matricular cards. Republicans in Congress must seek out a way to hold lawbreakers responsible. It is time to take Congressional lawbreakers to court for crimes against the people, and thwarting our Rule of Law. The fact that we allow the Mexican government to issue these cards on our own soil is ridiculous.

Nancy Pelosi Catholic Bishops: Pelosi tells Bishops to Preach Amnesty as a Manifestation of the Gospel
Nancy Pelosi wants to secure our borders, enforce our laws, protect our workers, and our honor families by passing amnesty for millions of illegal aliens, while ignoring our laws, voting against building the border fence and refusing to protect our borders. Ironic, huh?
To accomplish this, she supplied Catholic Bishops with The Word, and directed them to tell parishioners, from the pulpit, that amnesty is a "manifestation of the Gospel.
