Brandon Halcomb is a junior in high school. He took the time to write a letter to VP Joe Biden and it should give us the courage to recognize that there many fine young high schoolers across our country who recognize our politicians for the pitiful specimens that they are. Mr. Biden, the world is watching, and when we pick ourselves up off the floor, the "F" word still resonates.


The following letter was sent to the editor at GoodNewsDaily.net, from a 16-year-old, asking for help in getting his message to U.S. Vice President Joe Biden. Mr. Biden, are you listening?)

A Concerned Christian Youth of Today’s America

Dear Vice-President Joe Biden:

Today is a sad day for my fellow Americans and me when such a powerful figure, such as yourself, could so loosely use the “F” word on national television. I know you have to understand the powerful influence you hold on children’s lives across the nation. As a junior in a public school in eastern Kentucky, it is hard enough to try to escape or get through the school day without hearing such perverse words from my own peers. However, to hear such a prominent man who helps hold our country in his hands blatantly use such a word makes me worry about my country’s morals and values.

My grandfather did not have half the education you have, but he taught me three things: An intelligent person listens more than he speaks, he also never swears in front of women or children, and he always wears a shirt in public places, unless he’s at the beach or the swimming pool. My grandfather always said, “I know in a society where anything goes a young guy has to take a stand on something; if he doesn’t, he will fall for anything.” Although I am only sixteen, I do try to honor my deceased grandfather’s words of wisdom.

Vice-President Biden, you have offended some of your fellow Americans, myself included. It was wrong for you to have used such vulgarity in a public place, let alone at the taxpayers expense as you celebrated such an awesome landmark with our President. However, Vice-President Biden, to me, you cheapened that occasion with such tastelessness while congratulating the President on this event.

Many may say, I am so young what do I know? I know that I have grown up in a wonderful country that has tremendously changed throughout the years. Although I love the changes America has gone through with freedom, it frightens me to think of how weak Her morals and values are beginning to become. Vice-President Biden, you owe your fellow Americans, or at least its youth, an apology for the use of such an inappropriate word. I, for one, refuse to think that this is what has become of the English Language, especially when there are more powerful words and ways to get one’s point across.

In conclusion, some may call me old fashioned for upholding my grandfather’s good ole American morals and values. However, our ancestors founded this country on these very principles: hard work, integrity, and honor. What honor can a man have if he defiles his own name? Mr. Vice-President, please while holding our futures in your hands, do not allow any more of America’s morals or values to be lost. Please, I beg, leave the profanity behind closed doors, and enlighten today’s youth with the words of wisdom that YOU have to pass down to my generation. Thank you for your time.

Kansas City Closes 29 of 61 Schools: Massive Waste Brings KC Schools to an End

The Kansas City, Missouri school system received $2 BILLION dollars to desegregate (integrate) their inner-city schools. They did everything but integrate and teach, and now 29 of 61 schools are approved for closure. One school built an Olympic sized swimming pool, another a recording studio, yet another a "high-profile" fencing program.

How pitiful is this? The superintendent and administration should be behind bars:

The district went on a buying spree that included a six-lane indoor track and a moct court complete with a judge's chamber and jury deliberation room. But student achievement remained low....

Two billion dollars wasted to integrate these inner city schools. Think of the math and science skills that could have been taught for $2 Billion.

David Benke Tackles Gunman at Deer Creek Middle School: Bruco Strongeagle Eastwood is Colorado School Shooter?

A man with a "big gun" appeared on the school ground at Deer Creek Middle School in Littleton, Colorado as students prepared to board an after-school bus. Allegedly, Bruco Strongeagle Eastwood shot two students before math teacher, Dr. David Benke, tackled and disarmed him. One student remains in critical condition this morning. See a video below.

Two students were injured: Matt Thieu, 14, received a gunshot wound to the chest. Reagan Weber, 13, was shot in the arm. Matt Thieu is in critical condition. Ms. Weber was treated and released from the Littleton Adventist Hospital. Thie was transferred to Children's Hospital in Denver.

Eastwood, 32, is a convicted felon and is believed to be a former student at Deer Creek Middle School. A yearbook photo shows Bruco Eastwood in 1992. He has a long rap sheet including arrests for domestic violence, DUI, motor vehicle theft and "menacing. His father, War Eagle Eastwood says his son has led a troubled life and "hears voices," and talks back to the voices. 

According to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, he has been arrested at least nine times. Besides intermittent stints in jail, he has lived in Hudson, Commerce City and Federal Heights, records show.

 Eastwood also has been a defendant in civil lawsuits, including one in which his horses roamed onto Interstate 76 and caused an accident with injuries. 

Steve Potter, a Deer Creek bus drive witnessed Dr. Benke taking the shooter down, and rushed to help.

Dr. Benke was out there at the time the school was being let out. It looked to me like he heard the shot and decided to react accordingly," Steve Potter told FOX31 News. "There was a little bit of a wresting match for about 5 seconds or so," before Benke had disarmed the gunman, Potter said.

Potter, who also helped subdue the gunman after Benke tackled him, said the suspect was rambling incoherently as they held him down.

"He was uttering some obscenities here and there, but nothing that made a whole lot of sense to me."

Kick A Black Day!

First of all the useful idiots in the media would have broken into their regularly scheduled news program with not only this as breaking news, but hourly updates on the condition of the victims. Each and every government official from the President on down would be commenting on this event with the President holding an kicking summit over ice cream at the White House. School officials would be fired at once with total sensitivity training and classes being taught for days. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would be holding daily rallies in the town. Finally Maxine Waters would hold Congressional Hearings. So why didn't anything like that happen when a Florida school allowed a 'Kick A Jew Day'?

Ten students at a Florida middle school were suspended after district officials say they participated in "kick a Jew day." District spokesman Joe Landon says a Jewish student at North Naples Middle School reported being kicked on Thursday. The school's principal addressed the entire student body the next morning and asked for anyone with information about the alleged attack to come forward. The district determined that 10 students should be punished. They each served one day of in-school suspension Monday. Landon says the first 20 minutes of the school day, which is normally used for reading and tutoring, will now be used to teach students about respect, kindness and ways to prevent bullying. No criminal charges have been filed.

I would bet you any amount of money that if the victim was black not only would charges be filed, but they would be charged as adults. Nice school they have at North Naples Middle School. So nice that they teach the basics in education: Reading, Writing, Arithmetic, Anti-Semitism. Just the basics. Chicago: 36!

Is it the number of seconds that Oprah went without mentioning herself, Dr. Phil, or Barack Obama? NO! It is the number of young men and women who were gunned down this past school year. 36.

With three weeks left before summer break, a record 36 Chicago Public Schools students have been killed this school year, marking the third straight year that youth homicides have climbed into double digits. Chicago has surpassed New York City and Los Angeles for having the highest youth homicide rate in the nation. "I think people in Chicago have almost gotten numb to the statistics," said Dexter Voisin, a researcher at the University of Chicago who studies the impact of violence on adolescents. The latest victim in Chicago's long year of student killings is 15-year-old Alex Arellano. On May 1, he was chased, beaten with baseball bats, run over by a car, shot and burned. His body was found days after he disappeared from his family's home on the city's South Side. Police continue to investigate the killing; gang activity has been suggested. His grieving family members have denied any gang connections and continue to look for answers. "The homicide rate is just the tip of the iceberg," Mr. Voisin said. "Those with nonfatal injuries are almost 100 times that of our homicide rates. You think for about every one kid who is murdered, 100 kids witness the murder or are victims of nonfatal injuries, of robberies, muggings and gang-related incidents. A lot of times, this exposure goes undocumented or unreported." Black youths, he said, are two times more likely than white youths to fail or drop out of school, and at the same time they are also eight to 10 times more likely to be victims of homicide than whites. "I don't even know where to begin," said Diane Latiker, who runs a program for at-risk youths out of her home in the city's Roseland neighborhood. "There aren't any words for what I feel for what is going on for our youth." Ms. Latiker uses three rooms of her six-room apartment to run a nonprofit program called Kids Off the Block. She offers tutoring, mentoring and travel opportunities designed to show Chicago youths who want successful futures that the violent culture they see daily is not the norm. The local drug dealer in a big car with flashy rims, wearing cool sneakers, appears to many to be the model of success, Ms. Latiker said. "The A and B students, they have family and community support," she said. "What about the kid who is struggling, hanging out there on the street corner and joining that gang because he feels hopeless? That's what I'm hearing from our youth. Where is Jesse Jackson? Where is Al Sharpton? Maxine Waters? Why is the Daily Kos and Huffington Post both silent on this? Why is the left silent? Black children are being killed! Yet not a word about this from them. If it came out that Black children were being killed by the Chicago police, white men, or KKK members, they would be marching in the streets. But a little gang violence and they remain silent on this issue. THAT IS RACISM! Why is it that Jackson, Waters and Sharpton will go ballistic if the 'N' word is used by a comedian, radio personality or other WHITE person, but are remaining silent when a rapper like: Mac Dre, Snoop Dog, Master P, and Lil Wayne all tell young people not to snitch, don't cooperate with the police. So the murderers go free to kill again and again. The rappers get rich, the murderers get away with the crime, and the people of the neighborhood are less safe, less secure in their homes. And still the only cry that goes out is: Take away people's guns. If there were no guns, there would be no gun violence, the liberals say. The truth is that these crimes are not committed with legal weapons, but illegal ones. AK-47's to be exact. That is not the type of weapon one can walk into a gun shop and pick up. Gun control is NOT the answer. The answer is for the Black Community to stop the culture of gangsterism. It is for parents to sit down with their kids and explain to them that the rappers and gangsters are not the best role-models for them. That snitching is not wrong. That testifying in court is your civic duty. That solving one's problems with a shooting is just plain stupid. Most important it is time for Black leaders to say these things. For Black leaders to march in the streets of Chicago screaming for justice for these 36 children. For Black leaders to stand up to the gangsters and take their culture back. In September, Chicago will begin a new school year. Let us all pray that the next year will see no child shot, no child killed by gangsters. That each child will have a chance to grow up and become a useful and productive member of this great nation.
