Former President G. W. Bush threw out the first pitch of Game 4 at the World Series, and while the final result is difficult for me to see just how perfect the pitch was, you can hear Nolan Ryan walk up and say "nice going." For further verification, Gateway Pundit says it was "a strike to home plate," with Ryan catching, and Karen at The Lonely Conservative declaring it "perfect - right over the plate.

Rachel Maddow Steve Stockman: Stockman Received Prior Notice of OKC Bombing Says Maddow

Rachel Maddow accused a woman now dead, of being a member of a militia, as if that is unlawful and egregious, and then claimed that then-Republican Texas Representative Steve Stockman received written information of the Oklahoma City Bombing prior to the disaster that killed 168 people, including 19 children and babies, and injured hundreds. And worse, she said Stockman faxed the information to the NRA, but not the FBI. See the video below.

...Mr. Stockman actually received advanced notice that the Oklahoma City bombing was going to happen. 

MADDOW: Yes, this has happened to a smaller degree before. In 1994, in the first mid-term election after the last Democratic president was elected, we got a slate of candidates that included Helen Chenoweth of Idaho and Steve Stockman of Texas. These two were so close to the militia movement in this country that Mr. Stockman actually received advance notice that the Oklahoma City bombing was going to happen.

A bit of Internet research showed this by Jim Simmon writing for the Houston Press on June 22, 1995.

Contrary to suggestions in some initial reports, Stockman's office had received the fax after the bombing and promptly passed it on to the FBI (ironically, the initial misunderstanding about the fax was propagated by the National Rifle Association, Stockman's chief patron).

I live in Oklahoma and knew nothing of this story. This intrigued me: according to NewsBuster's Jack Coleman, the fax said this:

According to the Morning News, a hand-written message on the fax read, "First update. Bldg 7 to 10 floors only. Military people on scene -- BATF/FBI. Bomb threat received last week. Perpetrator unknown at this time. Oklahoma." The machine that sent the fax to Stockman stamped "Wolverine" at the top of the page, the Morning News reported. 

 Militias are not everyone's cup of tea, and anarchist militias are certainly not acceptable, but we must remember that militias are a guaranteed right under the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution - for a very good reason: it is not impossible that our government might seek to take control in an unconstitutional manner. The Second Amendment allows militias to be our guardians.

Having said all that, I don't know about Stockman's militia connections, but it does seem that now, in 2010, trying to tie him to the deaths of those murdered in the Murrah Building in 1995, is a particularly cruel and highly improper thing to do. One thing we is, every word out of Maddow's mouth is calculated and measured. She knew what she was doing.

I'm not sure what the implication of evoking Helen Chenoweth is about. She was a Republican Representative from Idaho from 1995 to January 2001. She died in an automobile accident in 2006, while a passenger in the back seat of a car that flipped and ejected her on a Nevada road. She apparently did have militia connections - but again, there is nothing illegal there. One interesting thing about Chenoweth, in 2003 she attempted to board a flight to her Nevada home. TSA "selected" her for a hand search. She refused and drove a rental car to get to her destination, and made this statement:

"Our borders are wide open and yet they're shaking down a 66-year-old white grandmother they greeted by name," she said of the incident. "It's time the American people say no to this kind of invasion. It's a question of personal privacy. There shouldn't be that kind of search without reasonable cause."

So a defenseless dead woman has been placed in the same company as a person Maddow alleges hid prior knowledge of the Oklahoma City bombing. Is there anything we can expect from MSNBC about this - like a reprimand, an apology to the family of Chenoweth and to Stockman, a firing? No, I don't think so. These are despicable people. Imam Ibrahim Dremali Arrested: Dremali and Safaa Rashad Eissa Arrested

Imam Ibrahim Dremali and his wife Safaa Rashad Eissa were arrested in Texas on charges of Immigration Fraud. Dremali is also known as Ibrahim Abdelrahman Dremali. The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) sent an email plea to American Muslims saying that Dremali is "one of a small handful of people who hold Ph.D.s in the U.S. in Islamic Jurisprudence." In other words, he has a "deep understanding of Sharia - meaning Dremali clearly understands the Islamic mission of Sharia dominance worldwide. 10-19-10 Update below.  Creeping Sharia reports that CAIR, through the mass email, has asked Senator Tom Harkin (D-IA) to have the charges dropped. Harken is likely at his home office while the Senate is in campaign mode. His Iowa office phone in Des Mones: 515-284-4574, Fax: 515-284-4937 and in Washington, D.C. 202-224-3254 and Fax: 202-224-9369. Something we can do is contact Senator Harkin's office and tell him to not even think of dropping the charges against this couple. Read on for good reasons to see this through to the end of a trial. Let their public defender defend them.

Imam Ibrahim Dremali and his wife, Safaa Rashad Eissa, were arrested at their Arlington, Texas, home on Oct. 6 by local and federal agents acting on a warrant issued by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Iowa. According to the warrant, Dremali and his wife are suspected of conspiracy and fraud in [the] naturalization process, an immigration offense...

Apparently, Safaa Rashad Eissa is not Ibrahim's other wife, Lamyaa Hashim (a.k.a. Um Ahmad), or perhaps she changed her name, or maybe there was an Islamic divorce. From FrontPageMag's The Visiting Jihadist in 2006:

Ibrahim Dremali was educated at Al-Azhar University in Cairo, where the school’s Grand Imam, Muhammad Sayyed Tantawi, has issued Fatwas in favor of violent Jihad against America and in support of suicide bombings.  It is at Al-Azhar that Dremali was said to have been indoctrinated into a militant organization.  This gives historical context for an event that happened on July 1, 1996, during which Dremali was detained by the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) and told that he was not to leave Gazaindefinitely.  Subsequently, on July 5, 1996, against Israeli orders, he arrived in Cairo.

Dremali would soon make his way to sunny Florida, where he resided previous to the IDF incident.

Addressing the mass email, this says that Dremali is known to Senator Harkin, who has appeared with Dremali and supported his work in the past.

Dremali founded the Islamic Center of Boca Raton before becoming an imam in Des Moines. While in Florida, his mosque co-sponsored a rally in 2000 which featured Hizballah flags and chants of "with jihad we'll claim our land. Zionist blood will wet the sand."

In addition, Dremali testified on behalf of Adham Amin Hassoun during a 2002 bond hearing, attesting to Hassoun's "peaceful and generous" character. Hassoun would later be indictedfor "actively recruiting mujahideen fighters and raising funds for violent jihad" and conspiracy to murder, kidnap, and maim persons in a foreign country," in order to "advance violent jihad," including "murder, kidnapping, and maiming," to establish "Islamic states under Sharia."

Hassoun was convicted in 2007.

The Islamic Center of Boca Raton, which Dremali founded has quite a reputation, according to FrontPageMag:

From October of 1999 through July of 2001, the Islamic Center of Boca Raton (ICBR) contained material on its website calling Jews “people of treachery and betrayal” and discussing the murder of Jews. A founding director of ICBR, Syed Khawer Ahmad, who stayed on in his position till the middle of 2002, doubled as a webmaster for the official website of Hamas’s Islamic Association located in Gaza. In October of 2000, the Imam of ICBR, Ibrahim Dremali, amidst burning Israeli flags and shouts that “Zionist blood will wet the sand,” told a crowd not to be sad for “those who were martyred” (i.e., suicide bombers). Despite this history, the ICBR had no trouble securing a zoning permit for a proposed 9,000 square-foot mosque. No one -- not the police department, not the mayor’s office, not the zoning board -- raised an objection.

What transpired after the permit was given is a matter of record. A Hamas-related charity connected to ICBR, the Health Resource Center for Palestine, was shut down; a founding director of ICBR and associate of Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) leader Sami Al-Arian, Bassem Alhalabi, was charged by the U.S. government with illegally shipping a $13,000 piece of sensitive military equipment to Syria; the Imam that took the place of Dremali, Munir Arafat, admitted under oath that he himself was a member of PIJ; and a member of the center, Rafiq Sabir, was arrested by the FBI for being an Al-Qaeda operative, to which he is currently awaiting trial.

Apparently, Dremali has spread his jihad to the Austin, Texas area. DiscoverTheNetworks says Dremali was the Director of the Islamic Center of Greater Austin, and a professor at the American Open University.

Call Senator Harkin's office, as well as alert your own Senator and Congressmen that CAIR is once again at work to whitewash a jhadist living in the U.S.

Islamic websites are tsk, tsk, tsking that Dremali is suffering from cancer and should not be moved, but according to this report, it's not cancer, it's hepatitis C. He is awaiting a liver transplant from a red-blooded American's demise.

David Hartleys Mexican Homicide Investigator Beheaded: Rolando Armando Flores Head Delivered in Suitcase

Last week the news was all about Tiffany and David Hartley and their ill-fated venture on Lake Falcon, into Mexican waters on jet skis. David Hartley, 30, is believed to have died in Mexican waters of a gun shot to the head. Yesterday, Rolando Armando Flores Villegas, a Mexican Homicide Investigator left his home to search for David. He did not return. Today his head was found in a suitcase outside a military compound in Miguel Aleman, Mexico.

According to Mrs. Hartley, the couple were chased by Mexicans in boats, who were shooting at them. David Hartley was trying to shield his wife and was shot in the head. Mrs. Hartley tried to get him on her jet ski but could not and eventually made it back to the Texas shore, where a man who actually saw the boats chasing her, called 911.

The U.S. and the Hartley family was upset that Mexico maybe did not believe Mrs. Hartley, and it seemed a search was not happening at all. Some on both sides of the border hinted that Tiffany's story might not be true.

After a police video showed the Hartley's pulling their jet skis on the way to Falcon Lake, and with the man who called 911 speaking out, Mexico began to search. They also named two brothers, members of the "Zeta drug cartel, as suspects.

On Monday, Tamaulipas state officials continued to deny U.S. and Mexican news reports over the weekend that a Tamaulipas official — one of Flores' subordinates — had identified two brothers as the men responsible for Hartley’s death.

The Associated Press reported that Tamaulipas State Police unit chief Juan Carlos Ballesteros said investigators believe brothers Juan Pedro and Jose Manuel Saldivar Farias may have killed Hartley as he snapped photos of a partiall submerged church from his personal watercraft at Old Guerrero.

Today came the news that Rolando Armando Flores Villegas, the head of border city of Ciudad Miguel Aleman, with the title of State Police Commandant, lost his life and his head. A spokesman in the area's Attorney General's office said the murder of Villegas "had nothing to do with the Hartley probe."

Mexican authorities want Tiffany Hartley to file a complaint in the Mexican city of Miguel Aleman. I have to believe entering a border town in Mexico is the last thing she wants to do. If the State Police Commandant is not safe, why would Mrs. Hartley believe the could protect her?

Amen Ahmed Ali is California Yemen-American Agent Sentenced

Amen Ahmed Ali accepted a plea agreement in Bakersfield, California on charges that he was acting as an agent for the Islamic country of Yemen. He admitted "illegally exporting military equipment, possession of stolen U.S. property and conspiracy to act as an illegal agent for a foreign country between 1997 and 2006. Note that he was aiding terrorism before September 11, 2001. Thrown in the pot of indictments, Ali was initially charged with "acquiring and transmitting secret defense information obtained from a government undercover agent. For this, he is sentenced to a maximum of 5 years in prison.

Ali is a naturalized U.S. citizen according to this Bakersfield news site. He was born in Yemen and has been in California for more than 30 years. A Federal Judge ruled that he was not eligible for bail due to risk of flight, and has apparently been held in a Bakersfield jail since early 2007

Amen Ahmed Ali, who would be about 60 years old now, had two accomplices indicted by a federal grand jury in Fresno, California: Mohamed Al-Rahimi of Bakersfield, about 66 years old today, and California and Ibrahim A. Omer of Fort Worth, Texas, about 44. The arrests came after a two year investigation by the Joint Terrorism Task Force along with the Bakersfield Police Department and the Kern County Sheriff's office.

Prosecutors said Ali shipped night-vision goggles, laptop computers, and satellite phone sold to him by an FBI undercover-agent who posed as a soldier of the U.S. Army. He also admitted shipping bulletproof vests, and chemical protective suits. Source: Fox News

Ali reportedly had access to five bank accounts holding large amounts of money. Prosecutors had 115 taped phone calls authorized under FISA.

According to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in September 2006, the man had several aliases: Ali Amin Alrowhani, Amin Al Rohany and Ameen Alrohany.

The original counts charged:

COUNT ONE (Ali) - Conspiracy to Possess and Transmit Defense Information - 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine;

COUNT TWO (Ali and Omer) - Conspiracy to Unlawfully Export Defense Articles - 5 years in prison and a $250,000 fine;

COUNT THREE (Ali and Omer) - Attempted Unlawful Export of Defense Articles - 10 years in prison and a $1,000,000 fine;

COUNT FOUR (Ali and Al-Rahimi) - Conspiracy to Possess Stolen Government Property - 5 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

For this and his guilty plea, the man will spend only five years in prison, the maximum penalty. Sentencing is January 24th, 2011. That's like a slap on the wrist to a dedicated Muslim terrorist. If his previous jail time on the charges are considered (and I cannot confirm they will be counted) Ali will spend only 1 year in prison.

According to JihadWatch, when the arrests first occurred on September 8, 2006, accomplice Ibrahim A. Omer was taken into custody in Bossier City, Louisiana, and Al-Rahimi was being sought. I'm finding no arrest or conviction information about Mohamed Al-Rahimi.

Border Security Bill Proof Dems Have Secured Border? Ready to Move on Comprehensive Reform?

The $600 million Senate border security bill that Obama will sign later this week is all the proof Americans need that protecting and closing our borders has happened. Democrats are ready to move ahead with "comprehensive reform," saying the bill should "break the deadlock...." in Congress, and silence the calls to "close the border first, before we deal with illegals already in this country.

Perhaps this bill is nothing more than a distraction. It pales under the scrutiny of the unwilling participation of the Obama administration and Congress to enforce the laws already on the books, as well as demanding law enforcement routinely look the other way as the U.S. invaded on our Southern Border.

In meetings with Republicans, “I repeatedly heard them say that once we showed we were serious about passing border security legislation, they would be able to begin working with us to fix other aspects of our broken immigration system,” Schumer said. The bill would box in Republicans politically, he added, compelling them to keep their word.

“I believe tactically it will help us move forward because it pulls away their No. 1 excuse, which is we can’t do comprehensive until there is border change,” Schumer said. “Certainly we were getting nowhere the old way.”

The bill will supposedly provide for 1,500 new border "personnel," two unmanned drones and "military-style bases along the border." The question is, will the new "personnel" have the authority to do whatever is necessary to keep illegals out? Remember that illegals must be handed over to ICE, who who are then impotent to do anything unless the illegal migrants have committed crimes other than being in the U.S. illegally. It's bizarre, but no more bizarre than Chuck Schumer thinking the Senate legislation has answered the call to "SECURE THE BORDER FIRST."

Our crafty Senate has found a way to pay the $600 million cost of their legislation. The Wall Street Journal says the fee hikes will mainly affect Indian technology-outsourcing companies. It will affect all companies that have more than half their U.S.-based employees on H1-B or L-1 visas. Microsoft and Intel will likely not be subjected to the fees as "their foreign workers make up less than 50% for their overall work force."

Som Mittal, president of Indian technology industry trade group Nasscom, said Indian companies could face $200 million to $250 million in increased human-resources costs annually if the bill becomes law....

According to a summary of the Senate bill, the new charges would increase visa fees paid by affected companies by roughly $2,000 per visa application. But Mr. Mittal says the increase would actually be about $4,500 more per worker for new visas and $4,000 more for renewals. Currently, most visa applicants also face additional fees; in most cases, the H1-B visa fees amount to about $2,320.

If the original visa fee is $2320 per visa and there are 214,271 "petitions," that's almost $5 million. If the higher estimate of $4,500 by Mr. Mittal is correct, another almost $10 million will be realized from all countries, although it is not clear that all foreign visa apps will be subjected to the fee. That's a total of about $15 million at the most, assuming every application is new and not a renewal, which is a lesser cost. Maybe my math is wrong. It wouldn't be the first time.

If every one of the 214,271 visa petitions costs the max estimate of $4,500 per worker, the total is about $9.5 million. That's a long way from $600 million.

Paying for a bill that may do nothing is a reality.  I was reading at Van Helsing at Moonbattery recently, who said:

The situation is simple. A hostile foreign power is using its criminal underclass to colonize the United States. The federal government, having been hijacked by the radical Left, is doing everything it can to assist this invasion, in the belief that creating a massive new underclass and reducing Caucasians to minority status will give them the demographic leverage to impose socialism and one-party rule.

One day people will ask you what you did to fight Obama and the rest of the vermin who deliberately tried to destroy America. At least the ICE rank and file will be able to say they objected — not that objecting will be anywhere near enough.

Does anyone think these "military-styled" bases along the border will happen anytime soon? Or will close the border?

Texas Ranch Cartel Takeover Story True? Los Zetas Takeover of Texas Ranches True?

Remember the story of the two Texas ranches that were taken over by Los Zetas cartel? The story broke on July 24th. We were told the ranchers got away, and the cartel got the ranch. After a few days, with no police confirmation, we began to believe it was a hoax. Today we learn perhaps the story is true. If it is true, it raises some important questions...do police have the right or authority to lie to citizens about violence inside the country? I think not.

On the original story, Police were mum, but a San Diego Minuteman, Jeff Schwilk was tipping The Cypress Times, and Kimberly Dvorack with The Examiner was reporting it. Today Dvorak says a "police blotter confirms story is not a hoax." In her report she says a "law enforcement officer on the scene also confirmed the incident in fact happened and officers on the ground said they"considered this an act of war."

After 16 days of denials by Laredo law enforcement and local officials regarding a Mexican drug cartel takeover of a Laredo area ranch, a Texas police blotter proves the alleged incident did in fact happen and that multiple agencies responded to the scene of a seized U.S. ranch....

The police blotter tells the story of the events that unfolded on July 23rd;

“On Friday 7-23-10 Laredo Webb informed that their county SWAT Team is conducting an operation in the Mines Rd. area. According to LT. Garcia with LSO (Laredo Sheriff Office) received a call from a ranch owner stating that the Zetas had taken over his ranch. As per the 17 (reporting person) he informed them that they stated La Compania (area business) was taking the ranch and no one was permitted on the ranch without permission. SO (Sheriff Office) will have an unmarked green Ford Taurus with two officers stationed at Los Compadres and a white Chevy Tahoe with two officers stationed at Mineral Rd. The LSO (Laredo Sheriff Office) will maintain surveillance in the area and advise if action is taken...Read more at The Examiner.

The Los Zetas Cartel is a violent drug organization, originally formed by Mexican Army deserters, turned assassins. They are considered among the most violent paramilitary enforcement organization in Mexico. They have captured U.S. tourists and held them for ransom. In 2009, Texas governor, Rick Perry organized a special squad to guard the border in the event Los Zetas carried through on their threats to the U.S.

According to the Foreign Policy Reasearch Institute:

Los Zetas are involved in myriad criminal activities. They have branched out into kidnappings, murder-for-hire, assassinations, extortion, money-laundering, and human smuggling. At the right price, these bloodthirsty mercenaries could move into terrorism focused on vulnerable targets in Texas and throughout the Southwest. With or without the Merida Initiative, authorities on both sides of the border should concentrate on curbing the growth of these lethal paramilitaries.

Where is the rest of the story? What happened to the cartel invaders who took over the property, assuming they did? What happened to the property owners? Why is media unwilling to report the story

Texas Birthright: 60,000 Babies Born to Illegals: 74% of Parkland Total Deliveries are Birthright Babies

Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas delivers more birthright babies than any other hospital in Texas. Last year at Parkland alone 11,071 children were born to illegal alien mothers. At least 60,000, maybe as many as 65,000 babies receive birthrights in Texas every year.

Republicans are discussing correcting the incorrect interpretations of the 14th Amendment which supposedly grants U.S. citizenship to anyone born on American soil. Democrat Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) is countering by accusing Republicans of attacking babies in the womb.  Ironic - Democrats believe an in-womb baby is nothing more than a fetus. The hypocrisy is rank. Hispanics vote for them anyway.

Republicans are accused of trying to shift the voting demographic. I believe that is true, and why not, but that is not the only impetus to stop the invasion of illegal alien mother's dropping their babies in America. The cost to the American people is intolerable and...of course, it is a matter of law. Yes, we ignored that law for a very long time, but that is no excuse for declaring it now.

Democrats and fine with keeping things as they are, because their only consideration is voters. Amnesty will bring millions to the polls voting for Democrats, who haven't given a thought to the Rule of Law in years, if ever:

 "The next 10 years will be an even more transformative decade demographically for Texas," said Dr. Roberto Calderon, an associate history professor at the University of North Texas and a Latin American expert following the debate.

He speculated that the Republicans probably were aware of this ongoing demographic shift and how it might threaten their party since Hispanic voters tend to support Democrats.

"Manipulating the status ... the rights and the opportunities for Latinos is the only avenue many on the conservative right see as a solution to remaining viable electorally," he said. "They're expecting what used to be safe Republican seats on the state and federal level will no longer be so safe."     

Most Americans welcome our South of the Border neighbors to citizenship, but we would really like for it to be done legally. We need you for more than the jobs you fill. We need you to preserve our Christian heritage - to have your babies in America because without you, our Muslim population will overtake our birthrate. It has already happened in most of Europe. We have maintained only due to the rapid Hispanic birth rate. In other words, we will be a Muslim nation without Hispanic births...but please, come legally and have your deserving children be a part of the American dream. Get this. Democrats have added five Republican senators to their "hit list," naming them BP Republicans. Nevermind that Barack Obama received the biggest donation of anyone in Congress from BP, and millions arrived in the warchests of prominent Democrats. Ah, none of that has anything to do with "the list." The list is merely...convenient - and targets hotly contested seats. To be clear (as Obama would say), it really has nothing to do with BP, and everything to do with a Democrat smear. Democrat funds will flood into these races. Read below what you can do about it.

RightKlik, the poll minder for Ten Buck Fridays, forwarded this good-spirited "grudge match" found at the website of John Faulk, who is running for the U.S. House seat for Texas' District 18. Faulk is on this week's Ten Buck Friday poll, along with Patricia Sullivan running for the House in Florida's 8th District.

Faulk and Sullivan are having a lot of fun with Ten Buck Fridays, all the while generating attention and enthusiasm for their campaigns. In the midst of the fun, Faulk and Sullivan are doing a serious work for our country, as they try to unseat two of the most loathsome members of Congress. Faulk is trying to send the egregious Sheila Jackson Lee home, and Patricia Sullivan is vying to get Alan Grayson out of the House chambers.

Texas Ranches Taken Over by Los Zetas: Los Zetas Killers Hijack Texas Ranches

This report says there are not two confirmations that two Texas ranches have been hijacked by Los Zetas, "highly trained killers formerly with the Gulf Cartel. Texans heard gunfire and reported it. All citizens in Nuevo Laredo are advised to remain indoors. At this time, there are no major mainstream propaganda squads with this report, so we'll have to wait and how accurate this is. Breaking - more as information becomes available. Keep in mind, this could be a hoax, however, someone from Laredo was on Fox News yesterday talking about the violence on the other of the border, and saying Laredo police were doing a great job keeping the Texas city of Laredo safe.

ChadlersWatch says the story is "100% confirmed by a second source within the Laredo Police Department." Disclaimer: I do not know the proprietors of this blog and cannot vouch for it. Note that the story puts the confirmation as the first lines of the story, but I believe everything else is the Cypress Times report you'll see below. Also the ChandlersWatch report is posted by "Maggie," but I am not that Maggie.

I'm beginning to think this might be a hoax. I notice that Free Republic pulled their post on this story. I didn't see the FR article before I posted, but I would have checked it out as I was doing updates to see if their sources were different from mine, but a notice said the "thread had been pulled." There is still no mainstream White House Propaganda Squad reports on this story.

Update 6:55 p.m. CDT:
I continue to think this was probably a hoax. Almost 24 hours later, not a peep from the mainstream White House Propaganda Squad, such as AP, Reuters, ABC, NBC or CBS.  Kimberly Dvorak at the San Diego Examiner - San Diego County Political Buzz, reports the story at 11:18 a.m. PST this morning. The only source named is San Diego Minuteman Jeff Schwilk. Dvorak's story says the Laredo police have requested help from the federal government.

Update Sunday 7-25-10 11:05 CDT:
Still no verification. There are reports that police in the area say they know nothing about this. This new post from The Cypress Times is still standing by their original report, and believes there may be a news blackout in place.

...now word is coming in that Los Zetas, the highly trained killers formerly with the Gulf Cartel, have crossed into the United States and taken over at least two ranches in the Laredo, Texas area. I am receiving word that the owners of the ranches have evacuated without being harmed. As of this hour I cannot confirm 100% on the situation (I am at around 90%) - though the source is law enforcement in the area.

Founder of the San Diego Minutemen Jeff Schwilk tipped me off to this story and passes along the following information on the location. The ranches are said to be "near Mines Rd. and Minerales Annex Rd about 10 miles NW of I-35".

I can personally vouch that this info came in late last night from a reliable police source inside the Laredo PD. There is currently a standoff between the unknown size Zeta forces and U.S. Border Patrol and local law enforcement on two ranches on our side of the Rio Grande. The source tells us he considers this an "act of war" and that the military is needed on the border now!

Whether it is lone members or squads is not certain. 

 A Laredo police spokesman, Joe Baeza, is accused of  saying there was no spillover violence onto the US side "They're not Vikings, they're not going to invade us, it doesn't work that way."

The Los Zetas are highly trained killers initially trained by United States Special Operations forces to combat the drug cartes within Mexico. As the drug war heated up the Zetas saw more money in working for the cartels and joined up with the Gulf Cartel.

The Laredo Buzz website posts updates by Joe Baeza. At this time I'm seeing nothing about the this report and the ranches or ranchers.

Gigi Gaston Texas Voter Fraud Nov. 2008, Indiana, Michigan...Hillary Voters Not Allowed to Vote

These four videos from Gigi Gaston - We Will Not Be Silenced - may be the most important you view before the November 2010 election, and especially if you are a liberty-loving Democrat in a caucus precinct. Gaston, a life-long Democrat was challenged by a friend to come to Texas and look into voter fraud by Obama operatives, with the help of the Democrat party, during the November 2008 presidential elections. Gaston thought she could document that the claims were untrue, instead she found they were true around the country.

The first video is about names illegally taken for the caucus votes.

The second video shows the process of caucusing, which requires you vote before attending a caucus. Many, many Obama voters either had not voted that day, had not signed up to vote, but still were counted in the vote. Illegal delegates began at the precinct level, then moved to the Senate district level, and on to the State level. Bottom line, many Obama delegates were illegal.

Dr. Hayes estimates ten percent of Obama caucuses were not legal in three Senate Districts around Houston. This alone accounts for most of the disparity between the primary and the caucuses.

Also, rampant voter fraud in Indiana. Gary, Indiana school children were sent to the polls in Crown Point with instructions to vote for Obama? I don't how that worked - how old were these kids? School children were bussed on a school day, told who to vote for, had their lunch bought for them, and gave them the remainder of the school day off.

A report possibly from Michigan: of the 2118 delegates, 670 delegates come from caucuses. A quote from one women in the video: Why do you think Obama wanted a caucus in Michigan? Because you can cheat at causes.

Maria Ross Dallas Jail Guard Arrested for Illegal Alien Status

Maria Ross has been working for the Dallas County Sheriff's jail facility in some capacity since 2001.  Yesterday she was taken into custody on charges that she is in the country illegally.

Ross was arrested on "civil immigration violations," according to ICE. Ross applied to be a "deputy sheriff" and had to go through a background check, which didn't work out so well for her. The question is: did they hire her without a background check? This sheds some light:

To be hired by the Sheriff's Department as a jail guard or deputy, candidates have to be U.S. citizens. It's not only a Sheriff's Department rule but a requirement of the state licensing agency, the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education.

However, the state requirement only became effective in 2003, according to a spokeswoman.

Ross has a Social Security number, according to family court records.

Her state officer standards and education record shows she attended classes at El Centro College and Dallas Baptist University. She also attended the sheriff's academy before obtaining her state jailer license in 2001.

Ross, whose maiden name is Medrano, married a Dallas County sheriff's deputy, David Ross, in 2005. They have two small boys.

The couple separated in January 2009, the same month Maria Ross filed for divorce, according to court records. The divorce became final last month, records show.

Oh come on, now. Ex-hubby turned her in??? I don't believe the Sheriff's Department didn't know, so hubby forced the outing.

Gustus Bozarth is Flag Rescuer: Homeless Man Gustus Bozarth Rescues Flag

A El Paso security camera caught Gustus Bozarth rescuing the American flag, which had fallen in a storm. The videotape showed Mr. Bozarth in a driving rain, carefully folding the flag military-style, on the hood of a pick-up truck, and then leaving it and the pole in a safe place on the property. Across the country, people are responding to his plight and offering help. See the video below.

The owner of the flag is METI Inc., a federal contracting company. According to their spokesperson, METI has had a "heart warming" response to the story, with offers to help with donations. KFOX is also working with an agency to provide aid. 

METI employees were shocked to find the downed-flag not strewn on the ground in front of their building, but neatly and properly folded. That's when they checked the security tape showing Gustus Bozarth at 1:40 a.m. folding the flag in a driving rainstorm.

KFOX14 quotes Bozarth:

It's a small respect, folding the flag like that," he said. Bozarth said he learned to fold the flag when he worked as a security officer in Tampa, FL.

WoundedTimes says Gustus lives in the back of a warehouse just feet from where the fallen flag was found.

METI Inc. at first refused to take donations for Gustus until they could a arrange a way to keep the funds safe. According to the video below, a fund has now been set-up. For details contact METI Inc. at 915-772-4975 or KFOX14 at 915-833-8585.

El Paso City Hall Hit by 7 Gunfire Blasts from Across Border

Last week a burst of gunfire from Mexico crossed the U.S. Texas border smashing into El Paso's City Hall.  According to Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott, the 7 shots fired from Juarez, Mexico that hit the building, killing and wounding no one, was not the result of effective border control, but mere luck.

The photo above by Vanessa Monsisvais for El Paso Times, shows a large-caliber bullet which entered a west-facing wall at the 9th floor office of Assistant City Manager Pat Adauto....A rod was placed in the bullet hole to mark where the bullet entered.

Police said the bullet flew through the window, then through an interior wall before hitting a picture frame and stopping.

Abbot, in a letter to Barack Obama asked for more troops on the border and said the "time for talk is passed:"

The shocking reality of cross border gunfire proves the cold reality: American lives are at risk. As the attached news article notes: "More than 1,300 people have been murdered in Juárez this year as a war continues relentlessly between the Juárez and Sinaloa drug cartels." Americans must be protected as this deadly war bulges at our border. 

Law enforcement officials with the Texas Department of Public Safety and your own U.S. Customs and Border Protection will reveal the hard truth. Our state is under constant assault from illegal activity threatening a porous border. 

The time for talk has passed. The time for action is now. The need is urgent. Each day that passes increases the likelihood that an American life will be lost because of the federal government's failure to secure the border.

This threat demands immediate and effective action by your Administration to secure our border. As the Attorney General of Texas, I urge you to make border security your top priority so that no more innocent lives are lost to border violence. 

Afghan Military Inside US Goes AWOL: 17 Afghans Somewhere in the U.S.

I found this at Chicago Ray's. What an appalling report. In my first reading, I thought 17 Afghan soldiers attending Lackland Air Force Base's English Language school went AWOL - fleeing into the heart of America. Then I read that the 17 disappeared over a period of two years. but here's the good news: non have disappeared over the last three months. That likely means at least one disappeared four months ago. See an update below.

The men were issued a DOD Common Access Card, an identification card used to gain access to secure military installations, with which they "could attempt to enter DOD installations...."

Don't be concerned, though. There's a lot of action behind the scenes, but I note nothing is said about checking strip joints and liquor stores from coast to coast.

Some rabid mosques may have been checked, but that isn't mentioned either. The good news is, the visas for the 17 have been revoked  - or, at least, most of them - they're really not sure about that. The escapees are now entered into a database and a flyer has been sent out to state and local law enforcement with the photos of each man and their birth dates.

A "senior" DOD official said he had no knowledge of the 17 AWOL men (incredible):

...this is not the first time foreign trainees have gone missing, and said some cases in the past have turned out to be more of an immigration concern than a national security threat.

So when did the search for these men begin? Or has it?

Here's how it works: "The FBI and the NCIS did not respond to requests for comment. A Department of Homeland Security spokesman referred FoxNews to the FBI." It's a circus out there. "They" are the clowns and we are assigned to the peanut gallery. Read Chicago Ray's thought on this mess.

Update 6-18-10:
Fox is reporting that 7 of the men are in Canada, and they know of 4 in the U.S. The belief is that there is no terrorism associated with them. See the names of missing men below.

"When a DLI student goes missing," Emery said, "officials report the incident to the Department of Homeland Security's Immigration and Customs Enforcement as well as the sponsoring service branch. Invitational Travel Orders, passports, driver licenses, and airline tickets are revoked in order to hamper travel opportunities for the missing students." 

We might ask if any children of these men have born in the U.S. And another question: of those in the program and not AWOL - have they fathered any anchor children while here?

Mohamed Ali Homeland Security Terror Watch for Texas Border: Terror Alert at Texas/Mexico Border Video

Mohamed Ali is not the Cassius Marcellus Clay, Jr. or Muhammad Ali you and I know. This Mohamed Ali is a Somali man believed to be in Mexico and preparing to cross the Mexico border with Texas into the U.S. Homeland Security has issued a "terror watch," for the man believed to have ties to Al Shabaab, a Somali terrorist organization with strong ties to al-Qaeda. See video below.

An indictment was unsealed in Texas federal court earlier this month that revealed that a Somali man, Ahmed Muhammed Dhakane, led a human smuggling ring that brought East Africans, including Somalis with ties to terror groups, from Brazil and across the Mexican border and into Texas. 

The same Fox News report says "hundreds of Somalis suspected of terrorist ties" have crossed the porous and ignored U.S. border.

In recent years, American Somalis have been recruited by Al Shabaab to travel to Somalia, where they are often radicalized by more extremist or operational anti-American terror groups, which Al Shabaab supports. The recruiters coming through the Mexican border are the ones who could be the most dangerous, according to law enforcement officials.

In addition to the Somali immigration issue, Mexican smugglers are coaching some Middle Eastern immigrants before they cross the border – schooling them on how to dress and giving them phrases to help them look and sound like Latinos, law enforcement sources told FoxNews.com.

There have been a number of certain communities that have noticed this, villages in northern Mexico where Middle Easterners try to move into town and learn Spanish,” Neuhaus Schaan said. “People were changing there names from Middle Eastern names to Hispanic names.”

Security experts say the push by illegal immigrants to try to fit in also could be the realization of what officials have feared for years: Latin American drug cartels are helping jihadist groups bring terrorists across the Mexican border. 

Every U.S. Representative and Senator holding office for more than 5 years should be voted out of office for allowing American vulnerability on our Southern Borders. Immediately, we should hold all law enforcement responsible for refusing to follow U.S. immigration laws. Every sanctuary city must lose all federal funding. Obama Orders National Guard to Southern Borders: Republicans Focus on Jobs Debt Terror

Senate Republicans met in a "closed door" meeting with Obama today on Capitol Hill. Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) said Republicans focused on "jobs, debt and terror," and said on a majority of issues, Republicans have a "large difference of opinion" with a President who favors "far-left legislation." After the meeting, Senator John McCain (R-AZ) spoke on the floor of the senate, saying "we need to secure the borders first," but said Obama "didn't agree." McCain called for 6,000 National Guard, but is getting 1,200.

Apparently, the National Guard deployed to the border will not "secure it," but will

"provide intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance support; intelligence analysis; immediate support to counter narcotics enforcement; and training capacity until Customs and Border Patrol can recruit and train additional offices and agents t serve on the border..."

Five hundred million will be requested to support the beefed up security, but building the legislated physical fence still isn't happening and the virtual border fence is a dud, after spending multiple BILLIONS of taxpayer monies. Take a look at the spec of the proposed fencing in the graphic above. If we are honest about it, we will admit that not many illegals will get through that structure.

The article linked in the second paragraph quotes the White House saying the Guard members will "...also help build on and complement the strong security partnership with Mexico...." I do not find any evidence or explanation of exactly what part the Mexican government is playing in the "strong security" of our mutual borders. If you have any details, let me know.
