The LA Times: Ayers is an "Ex" Weatherman? Obama Didn't 'Meet and Greet" at Ayers'?

The L.A. Times, on October 16th made two critical statements, thereby telling two important lies and revising history. Odd, isn't it, that we haven't heard anyone from the "Meet and Greet Coffee" at the home of William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn speak of the "launching" of Barack Obama's political career. Not a peep. Well, here it is. Take it. Blog about it. Let the world know. The first was reported by Patterico's Pontification today:
[Patterico speaking] On Thursday, the L.A. Times claimed that there is “no recorded basis” for John McCain’s statement that Obama launched his political career in Bill Ayers’s living room. That same day, I wrote a post that proved them wrong. I linked a January 27, 2005 blog post by Maria Warren, a political liberal who attended the function. In that post, she said:
[Maria Warren speaking] When I first met Barack Obama, he was giving a standard, innocuous little talk in the livingroom of those two legends-in-their-own-minds, Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn. They were launching him–introducing him to the Hyde Park community as the best thing since sliced bread.
Then, a subliminal statement (not suggestion): the LA Times referred to Ayers as an "ex-Weatherman." They actually said he WAS an "ex-Weatherman." There is no evidence that Ayers left the Weather Underground, or that he denied them his membership. He just turned coward and went underground. When he surfaced, he turned himself in. They hid. They were all cowards. Ayers and his wife. Let us not forget that. Thank you to Susan Duclos at Wake up America
