Alexis Cohen, the American Idol Glitter Girl has died in a hit and run accident. Alexis Cohen was named American Idol's seventh season "Glitter Girl." Cohen's bizaare and sometimes crude behavior won her fame but not much fortune. Daniel Bark, 23, has been charged with death by reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident .

TMZ reports. Cohen’s body was found by two pedestrians more than 1,000 feet away from her own parked car. Bark faces 15 years in prison if convicted.

With glitter covering her eyelids she entered the audition room. She said "I like things that shine." She also said "I'm a lady." After she heard judge Simon Cowell's advice to join a 1960's cover band, the lady said "Excuse me, sir, you suck," and she flipped him off more than once. Rest in peace, Alexis. You were fun to watch. Just wish you would have avoided the flip-offs, but then you probably would not have been profiled on the show in subsequent years. Condolences to your mother.
