Senator Chris Dodd has announced he will have surgery for prostate cancer in August. I wish him blessings for a full and complete recovery, and look forward to a first-hand and full report on the efficiency of Canadian health care when he returns.
Will follow-up meds be approved by his own U.S. physician? Probably not, but it doesn't matter, does it? I'll admit, I may be overlooking the fact, that Dodd might have chosen a Canadian doctor in the first place. American doctors don't know much and they order all those unnecessary tests. Someone needs to manage how the American physician manages our care anyway, so - yeah, I'm sure the Senator just went to Canada for his diagnosis.
