Sarah Todd Palin Divorce Untrue: CNN Lies Again, Meg Stapleton Denies

Sarah and Todd Palin to divorce? Reports coming out of Alaska say it is true. Unnamed sources say it is true but Palin's spokesman, Meg Stapleton, says it is "a made-up story." See video below.

Sarah and Todd Palin

I've been watching this and see that it is beginning to be picked up, but most without the denial from the Palins. The Immoral Minority Blog, a blog in Alaska claims to have an in-the-know source. The AlaskaReport picked it up from the blog. So there you go. The Palin camp is not dodging. They have come out concretely saying there is no truth to the story. The blog mentioned Stapleton's statement on Facebook, calling it "venom." This from Palin's Facebook page:

No Truth to Latest Rumors
Yet again, some so-called journalists have decided to make up a story. There is no truth to the recent “story” (and story is the correct term for this type of fiction) that the Palins are divorcing. The Palins remain married, committed to each other and their family, and have not purchased land in Montana (last week it was reported to be Long Island). Less than one week ago, Governor Palin asked the media to “quit making things up.” We appreciate that the more professional journalists decided to question this story before repeating it. Thanks to RiehlWorldView for Facebook tip. I'm hoping you will not make your way to the Immoral Minority or the AlaskaReport. I'll tell you what they are claiming, so they will not receive the favor of your hits.

The claims are: Sarah and Todd were not speaking during the festivities celebrating her resignation as Governor of Alaska. Norah O'Donnell, a reporter, (I know who she is, I don't know which network she works for) claims that Sarah and kids made a quick exit after the event - jumped in a vehicle with a security detail driving and whisk off, leaving Todd behind without a car. Todd joked about it. Claims are that Sarah has not been wearing her wedding ring lately. There is no confirmation that she did not have the ring on at the resignation ceremony. And, Sarah purchased land in Montana recently, and the speculation is that she may take the children and move there, with Todd going back to the oil fields. That's it. Let us gird our loins and be ready, because this is far from the worst that the dregs of liberalism can dip from their bottomless pit of night soil. Below is a video of Meg Stapleton talking to John Zeigler in July 2009.
