Democrats in America are evenly divided on the question of whether George W. Bush knew about the 9/11 terrorist attacks in advance. Thirty-five percent (35%) of Democrats believe he did know, 39% say he did not know, and 26% are not sure. Republicans reject that view and, by a 7-to-1 margin, say the President did not know in advance about the attacks. Among those not affiliated with either major party, 18% believe the President knew and 57% take the opposite view. Overall, 22% of all voters believe the President knew about the attacks in advance. A slightly larger number, 29%, believe the CIA knew about the attacks in advance. White Americans are less likely than others to believe that either the President or the CIA knew about the attacks in advance. Young Americans are more likely than their elders to believe the President or the CIA knew about the attacks in advance. If we halve the democrats who "are not sure" whether President Bush was involved in murdering 3000 Americans on 9/11 (26% = 13%), I think it's a safe bet that 48% of democrats in 2007 saw a potential mass murderer in president Bush. It's 2009, truthers are czars and our president is destroying the CIA. Would it be unrealistic to believe trutherism has spread on the left? Could it be 55%? Maybe 60%? Why does that matter? Because when people are willing to morph political opponents into remorseless killers, then it isn't an ideological battle anymore, it's a race against a holocaust. It becomes the equivalent of deposing Hitler in 1938, before he destroyed millions. Everything is seen in the context of life vs. death: environmental holocausts, healthcare genocide and domestic terrorists raping the rights of minorities in America. All of a sudden banning political speech or indoctrinating school children in the name of "hope and change" are now trifling sacrifices in a larger war against something far worse than slavery. All tactics conceived in the spirit of fighting right wing 'fascism' are moral and patriotic. They'll say it's all about saving America. But they mean to destroy everything she once stood for...for our own good. And they tell us that we're unpatriotic for raising our voices at townhalls?

Trutherism: Democratic Mainstream?
Cross-posted at PoliticalVindication.com
Does the exposure of Obama's "green jobs" Czar Van Jones as a Truther mean Trutherism is Democratic mainstream now? We can't expect Obama to know everything about the people he gives government power to, but blessing a guy who thinks government murders it own citizens to inspire a war against Muslims - that's a defining characteristic that's easy to find and ought to disqualify anyone. Someone vetted this guy and easily recognized Van Jones as a far left kook, but didn't consider his trutherism as extreme. When did Obama find out Van Jones was a truther, and what did he do about it?
Remember that Rasmussen poll in 2007 asking about the 9/11 conspiracy:
