UMCOR Sam Dixon Dead in Haiti Quake

There were joyous reports that UMCOR exec, Rev. Sam Dixon, was rescued and survived the Haiti earthquake but today we learn that he was found dead in the rubble of the Hotel Montana. It is also confirmed by UMCOR that Rev. Clinton Rabb also died of injures. See a link below.

This from the United Methodist News Service (UMNS):

So it came as a shock Jan. 16 when, after four days when hopes dimmed and were raised again with reports of his survival, church workers learned that Dixon died of injuries received after being buried in the rubble of a collapsed hotel following the Jan. 12 earthquake in Haiti.
Reports about Rev. Clinton Rabb are mixed. A reader told me this morning that he has also died. This report from January 15th says he is in critical but stable condition in a Florida hospital.

The confirmation of Rev. Clinton Rabb's death is here.

Rev. James Gulley was with Dixon and Rabb but was rescued and is apparently doing well after sustaining "cuts and bruises."
