Senator Harry Reid's wife, Landra and daughter, Lana, were involved in a serious automobile accident today. Mrs. Reid (69) is reportedly in-hospital in serious condition with a broken back, neck and nose.

According to the Washington Post, Mrs. Reid's car was "rear-ended and crushed by a fully loaded tractor-trailer," today. The Reid's daughter, Lana Reid-Barringer (48) has been released from the hospital with facial lacerations and a neck injury, according to FOXNews.
The accident happened northbound on I-95 at about 1:10 PM. Mrs. Reid was driving a 2005 Honda Odyssey van. She was pushed into a third vehicle, and that car then hit another. Mrs. Reid's car was crushed from both ends. The driver of the tractor-trailer has been charged with reckless driving.
