Maher Udda Hamas Official Captured by Israel

Maher Udda, a high-ranking Hamas operative, believed to be a military commander in Ramallah, headed a murderous West Bank cell that killed dozens in Israel.

Israel has been hunting Udda since 2000. He was arrested in his home by the IDF, the Shin Bet and the Israel Police:

During the second intifada, Udda assumed a leadership role in Hamas' armed wing in Ramallah....During the subsequent several years, Udda worked primarily in financing and directing attacks against Israeli targets and was thought at some point to have served as a deputy to the head of the armed wing of Hamas in Ramallah, Ibrahim Hamed.
Hamed was arrested by Israeli forces four years ago and is considered one of the most prominent prisoners that Israel is refusing to free in connection with a deal for the release of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit.
Udda is implicated in two suicide bombings in 2003: the attack on Cafe Hillel and the hitchhiking station at the entrance to an Israeli army base.

Rusty at The Jawa Report points out that Udda tortured his own Palestinian brothers:
In addition to murdering Israeli citizens, notice who Udda is suspected of torturing. Not Israelis, but Palestinians. This is exactly how all Islamist insurgencies operate. They hate the the kuffar (unbelievers), but they hate the murtadeen (apostates) even more....gives them religious grounds for murdering their political enemies since under Islamic law apostates are killed.
Udda (47), the father of 4 children, is the last on the list of those sought  by Israel for killings in the second infitada.
