Australia Al Gore: Ian Pilmer Al Gore Global Warming Revolt: Aussie MPs Senators Resign

Five members of Australia's parliament have resigned in protest over the country's emissions trading legislation - Australia's own carbon tax and Cap and Trade scam. Ian Pilmer is a professor at the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Adelaide, and is a two-time winner of Australia's Eureka Prize, the country's highest scientific honor. Pilmer has called Al Gore's book, An Inconvenient Truth, as "long on scientific misrepresentations." He is an author of seven books, and a fierce debunker of man-made global warming. As in the U.S., the need for emissions reduction at the cost of major Western countries, is a very hot topic.

Liberal Party MPs Tony Abbott, Tony Smith, Sophie Mirabella, and Senators Nick Minchin and Eric Abetz have all resigned their portfolios after being innundated by callers wanting a closer scrutiny of the Cap and Tax legislation. This from Abbott:
The phone lines have been in meltdown with people saying that the Liberal Party would not be doing its job as an Opposition simply to pass this thing without the scrutiny that people calling my office think it demands," he said.
Mirabella said she is not deserting party leadership, "It's a matter of not being able to vote for bills that are so bad under any measurement," she said.

Liberal Party leader, Malcolm Turnbull, is in a undesirable position as his base collapses:
According to angry colleagues, the Opposition Leader's [Turnbull] blunt rejection of a proposal for compromise by Mr Abbott was probably the beginning of the end for the former banker, or at the very least the beginning of the biggest fight of Mr Turnbull's political career.
Despite the latest news of cooked climate data out of Britain, Turnbull said it would be irresponsible not to take action on climate change, however:
Enemies in his own party continued to liken Mr Turnbull to Zimbabwe dictator Robert Mugabe.
Now that's intense! As Parliaments are prone to do, other members are standing in the wings to replace Malcolm Turnbull. It is time to have an honest, world-wide discussion of climate change, the new bogus name for "global warming," which the loony Left had to abandon as a moniker, because...there has been no "global warming for at least ten to twelve years.
