Erroll Southers, President Obama's choice for Transportation Security Administration (TSA) chief, has withdrawn his nomination for the job
Southers lied to Congress about a security breach he perpetrated years ago. The kicker is: Congress knew he lied. His nomination has met resistance from Republicans, not only for the past indiscretions, and his lack of honesty in the nomination process, but because Senator Jim DeMint rang the bell on Southers' fondness for bringing collective bargaining to the TSA.
