Obama's Sunlight Lacking: Obama Promises 5 Days to View Bills Online Before Signing

Obama: "When there is a bill that ends up on my desk for signing, you, the public, will have 5 days to look online and find out what's in it before I sign it - so that you know what your government is doing. Did you believe that then? Sucker! All that sunlight Obama talks about...doesn't emanate from this White House.

So, the House passed the Senate Health care bill about 10:30 PM EDT on Sunday evening, March 21st. He signed the bill this morning - about 36 hours after the monstrosity passed. Pelosi, at least, was truthful when she said she had to pass the bill [health care] "so you can find out what's in it."

In the video, Obama talks about his promises to banish lobbyists and their interests in the White House, but that promise was broken about the day he took office. SEIU lives in the White House, and when the public caught on, that SEIU president, Andy Stern had unprecedented access to the Oval Office, as well as up and down the hallways, Obama appointed Stern to the National Commission on Financial Responsibility and Reform panel, giving Stern a revolving door with no one counting the revolutions.
