Right Reading Roundup 4-25-10 at Maggie's Notebook

So much going on this week: Earth Day, Blago, Kelsey Grammer, Obama hates blogs (it's on video), Arizona passes a law to clamp down on illegal aliens, and more.  Here are some of the best in the blogosphere.

TOTUS brings the unbelievable news that the UK is banning pictures of Western Wall in Israeli Tourism brochures.

Butch at 123Beta has a video of  7-year-old Rhema Marvanne singing Amazing Grace. Treat yourself to the extraordinary, really extraordinary voice of this little girl.

Chicago Ray's beautiful new blog, Chicago Ray's Conservative Chronicles, has a great video of the late George Carlin talking about Earth Day. If the "F" word offends you, you might want to pass this one by, but honestly, this is not what you would expect from Carlin. It's hilarious and spot-on.

The Lonely Conservative has the the depressing latest on Obama's Debt Panel (The National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform). You know what's coming...right?

TeresaAmerica talks about Kelsey Grammer's new RightNetwork.com, launching this summer. Will it be aired by Comcast? She has the discussion. See a video below of Kelsey talking about what's right and what's wrong, but not about who will host RightNetwork.

Bloviating Zeppelin has a powerful post on the new Arizona law on illegal aliens. This is something we need to stay hyped about (that's an easy one), and BZ has some great thoughts on the absurdity of Obama calling out the Arizona law as probably not fair.

The Reaganite Republican has a great piece titled Put His Lying Butt on the Stand, Blago. I know you've read about this everywhere, but you haven't read one as pithy as this piece by James.

Ol' Broad got it on video that Obama is deeply distressed about bloggers. Listen to this and pat yourself on the back. But that's not all, read about how Kate gauges her intelligence. It works for me.

Debbie at Right Truth reminds us what separation of church and state really means.

Amusing Bunni's Musings reports from the trenches of the Chicago Tax Day Tea Party. Some of the best pics and videos - as Bunni says "direct from the belly of the beast in the crime ridden City...."

Gary Fouse writing at Patriot Corner has an essay by Leila Beckwith of UCLA and Tammi Rossman Benjamin of UC Santa Cruz. The subject is one Gary writes about often as he spends his days at UCLA. So the question is: Are Jewish Students Safe on California Campuses? How tragic is it that we have to ask.

Chris at WyBlog examines how Northerners often think about Southerners, and how Southerners treat Northerners, with some personal family experience thrown in. I consider myself from the Central-South, as Oklahoma is dead-center South, directly above Texas. I am always treated like an Okie, not a Southerner.

American Power reports that the LA Times published a Tea-Party smear. Can you guess who it was from?

MarySue at Ruby Slippers has a comprehensive post about an extraordinarily important special election in Pennsylvania' 12 Congressional district to fill deceased John Murtha's seat in the House. this is something you will want to know about.
