South Park Offends Islam: Bows to Muslim Protests: Revolution Muslim Jihad

Muhammad Bear, appearing on South Park, sparked a jihad warning against writers Trey Parker and Matt Stone. See a video below.

Theo Van Gogh - Dead by Jihad

The Islamic terrorists, known as Revolution Muslim, compared Parker and Stone to the now dead Theo Van Gogh, a dutch filmmaker who was murdered in 2004 by jihadist, Mohammed Bouyeri, for criticizing the abusive treatment of women in Islam through Van Gogh's film Submission.

Here is the threat printed in EOnline:
We have to warn Matt and Trey that what they are doing is stupid and they will probably wind up like Theo Van Gogh for airing this show. This is not a threat, but a warning of the reality of what will likely happen to them.
Okay. It was a "prediction," not a "threat."

This statement from EOnline:
Seemingly lost on the fundamentalists (and the network execs) was that the offending South Park storyline was mocking the ridiculousness of extremists who would resort to bombing if a bunch of cartoon cutups showed Muhammad (even with a big "censor" strip plastered over him or if he was hidden in a bear suit).
To the contrary, the whole thing is lost on EOnline writer Josh Grossberg. It's Grossberg that doesn't get it. You are not allowed to portray the prophet Muhammad. Grossberg in any manner. You are an infidel! It is, indeed, a position that cannot be reasoned with. Islam does not reason.

Here is how Comedy Central responded to the threat (find a link to the cartoon still streaming):
We apologize that South Park Studios cannot stream episode 201 at this time.

After we delivered the show, and prior to broadcast, Comedy Central placed numerous additional audio bleeps throughout the episode. We do not have network approval to stream our original version of the show.

We will bring you a version of 201 as soon as we can.
EOnline says that the network "wussed out" -- "but not without good reason." America, this is about more than a South Park cartoon. People will continue to die for offending Islam, and we will continue to ignore it.
