Frank McCorkle Lombard, 42, lives at 24 Indigo Creek Trail, Durham, with his partner and two adopted boys, at least one of which has been raped and molested for what appears to be a very long time. This Duke University professor "invited an undercover investigator online to fly to North Carolina" to also rape his child. The two adopted children have been placed in protective custody. The Eno Commons website , (another more descriptive here) in Durham, NC says the community, among other things, is a park-like neighborhood with organic gardens, orchard and a woodland creek leading to the Eno River. There are 22 households in this "cohousing neighbor." It is located 6 miles from the center of downtown Durham, interestingly, Eno Commons says it is a "Paradise for Children." Eno Commons utilizes a "Commons House." You can have the privacy of your own home or gather with "extended family" at the Commons House.

Neighborhood meals offer at least two good things: a chance to eat home-cooked sit-down meals with good company, and a chance to do the preceding without always having to spend time cooking. Sharing meals in our Commons House about six times a month is an important part of our community. We have Tuesday evening meals every week, a meal every other Sunday evening and parties for all occasions.

The website says "Children learn what they live," but the neighbors of Frank Lombard, his partner and Lombard's adopted children have expressed no surprise or outrage at what Lombard's 5-year-old son has been "learning" as he lived among them. Make no mistake about it, there has been no paradise in Eno Commons for the son that Lombard drugged, raped, molested - and did it all on camera, live on a website with others watching. According to News&Observer.com, the Commons "have kept reporters out." The midwest conservative journal gives more detail about these neighbors living in communal paradise:

A Raleigh News & Observer reporter went to talk to some of Lombard’s neighbors and got this strange response: Neighbors of Lombard had nothing to say about him Saturday to a reporter who visited Eno Commons, a co-housing community in north Durham. Residents ordered the reporter to leave the neighborhood, which emphasizes communal life.
A roadblock with a “no trespassing” sign and a Subaru greeted visitors Saturday to Indigo Creek Trail, a private street in the 22-home neighborhood.

The News&Observer.com says The Episcopal Church of the Advocate (EPOTA) are cooperating. They removed references and photos of Lombard (and possibly a photo of his son or sons) from the website. Lombard is said to have been a "part of a group that advised on legal and financial matters," at the church. Other reports say that Frank Lombard was a "vestryman."

The church is providing pastoral care and spiritual guidance for all parishioners who have been affected by this painful situation," Bishop Michael B. Curry said on the diocese's Web site.
Lombard seemed like a good father to his two children, said Sandy Barnhart, who attended the same church. She said he was a quiet and knowledgeable person who was excited about the research he did at Duke.
"I was absolutely floored," she said of hearing about Lombard's arrest. "I've seen him with the kids, and he seemed to be a caring father. It seemed like [they lived in a] structured environment. He wasn't spoiling the kids. He seemed like a regular parent."

Frank Lombard is the associate director of Duke's Center for Health Policy. He is White. His son is Black. Lombard is gay. He is an academic. The FBI arrested him. He is charged with offering his young son for sex on the Internet. Interesting that initial reports from MSM failed to mention that Lombard is gay and this his adopted son is Black. Mike Adams writing at Townhall.com has the story. It will make your heart hurt. You remember the Duke Lacrosse players, all White, who were accused of raping a Black stripper. Eighty-eight Duke professors signed a statement accusing the students of racism and rape. No matter that the students denied the charges from the beginning and later were cleared of all guilt. The esteemed 88 didn't give a thought to presumed innocence. Once the not guilty verdict came down, here's what happened:

Perhaps even more stunning was the response of some professors after it became apparent that the white lacrosse players were innocent. After that became so obvious the school had to readmit the students, Professor Kate Holloway resigned her committee assignments in protest. By the way, the most common form of faculty protest these days is to refuse to work. Most people think this kind of protest is caused by arrogance. But the actual cause is a thing called “tenure.”

Here's some more about how this child suffered, from David Drake [all emphasis is Drake's]:

[An] informant told investigators he had met Lombard on the Internet four years ago. The informant described in graphic detail how he allegedly observed Lombard molesting an African-American child on four occasions over an Internet video chat service called ICUii. The informant said, according to court papers, that Lombard, who is white, said that he lived in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina and that the child was one of two adopted African-Americans in his custody. Lombard has been charged with attempting to induce someone to cross state lines to engage in sex with a child, punishable by a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison. Lombard allegedly used the adult Internet service to conduct his video chats. According to an affidavit in support of the arrest warrant, the Internet service indicated that Lombard's profile "stated he was interested in "perv fam fun," a reference to "incestuous child molestation." The service also told investigators that a customer service complaint had been sent to the company in January 2007. A customer who had chatted with Lombard complained to the company that Lombard said he was "into incest" and had adopted two African-American children, court records said.

A Washington, D.C., police detective who was investigating the case set up undercover chats with someone matching Lombard's description during which the detective says he was invited to fly to Raleigh to have sex with the person's 5- year-old adopted child. In his affidavit, Det. Timothy Palchak wrote that he engaged in a chat with someone using the screen name "FL" who provided nude pictures of himself. The pictures matched Lombard's North Carolina driver's license photo, according to the affidavit. During the chats, according to the affidavit, whom he adopted as an infant, and that he had allowed others to molest his child. "FL" told undercover investigators that he had himself molested his child,"FL" stated that "the abuse of the child was easier when the child was too young to talk or know what was happening, but that he had drugged the child with Benadryl during the molestation," Palchak wrote in his affidavit.

Frank M. Lombard Plea Deal? Media Remains Silent on Frank Lombard:

Frank M. Lombard, the Duke University pedophile father of two adoptive black sons has apparently accepted "guilt" for his crime and a plea agreement will be announced on December 17th.

 According to the Herald Sun, an "information" was filed on December 1st in Washington D.C.:

The filing of an information, since it implies the defendant's acceptance of guilt, typically means that a plea agreement is imminent. The one-page information that Lombard will acknowledge today states that he forced a minor to "engage in sexually explicit conduct ... for the purpose of transmitting a live visual depiction of such conduct."

The sentence for sexual exploitation of a minor is generally around 15 years....

According to the original arrest warrant, Lombard allegedly told an undercover police officer that he had sexually molested the child himself multiple times.

 It is unbelievable to me that Lombard will spend only 15 years behind bars for the terrible things he did to his own boy. The adopted child that Lombard admittedly molested was just 5-years-old at the time of Lombard's arrest. We do not know how long the child endured this horrible environment in his own home, with another adoptive father and Duke University employee, Kenneth Shipp, who says he knew nothing at all about Lombard's rape of their own child.

The FBI's sting reports said that Lombard told a prison inmate that he drugged the boy with benedryl to keep him quiet and that his crime was much easier when the boy was not old enough to talk.

Until now, the media has been repugnantly silent about Lombard.  I have a lot of material about Lombard, his neighborhood, the neighborhood developer and what life might have been like for this little boy. As far as I know, no one is reporting that these children might be safe now, receiving the mericiful counseling they deserve to help them get on with their lives.

Frank M. Lombard Sentenced: Duke Child Predator Frank Lombard Sentenced

Finally some news about one of the most despicable child sexual predators in history. Frank M. Lombard, the Duke University employee who adopted a child, drugged him, sodomized him, and performed other lewd and lascivious acts on camera for the benefit of another pedophile in prison, has been sentenced to 27 years and 3 months in prison. Lombard's sentence came from one charge of producing child pornography.

Lombard, and his partner Ken Shipp, also a Duke University employee, adopted two black boys - or perhaps Lombard was the only adopter. The youngest son, who was 5 years old at the time Lombard was caught, was repeatedly abused by his father. After the crime was reported, everything...all information about Lombard was shutdown, and a thinking person just couldn't help but think the silence was because this was about gay adoption.

This report says that the sentence is for "producing child pornography." What about child endangerment, what about rape, what about assault, what about dereliction of parental obligation, what about drugging a child, time after time, and what about offering his son for sex to another man. I cannot understand only the one charge. I assume there was a plea deal, but justice was not done for this little boy.

Lombard was arrested in June 2009 after an FBI sting. He pleaded guilty in December. A news report says Lombard "was charged to a federal child sex charge." He was also sentenced to lifetime supervision after leaving prison. Wonderful. We know how well "supervision" works - not well usually. These predators end up wherever they want to be. Parole officers don't have a clue. John Couey, the kidnapper, raper and murderer of little Jessica Lunsford shows the folly of thinking these beasts can live among decent people.

In recommending the sentence, U.S. Attorney Ronald C. Machen, Jr. wrote, "The defendant betrayed the trust of his adopted child in the most deplorable way imaginable. His child became nothing more than a pawn in his persistent attempts to gratify himself by sexually molesting him and chatting online with as many other pedophiles as possible.

Frank M. Lombard served as an associate director of the center for Health Policy at Duke. The university terminated his employment. According to early reports, his partner Ken Shipp did not know about the rapes, the drugging, the molestations, or the child pornography in his own home.

Frank Lombard, the father who raped his own adopted child, molested his own child on live camera for the enjoyment of a prison inmate, and offered his child to a stranger to do the same, has finally been fired from Duke University.

While we've waited for Duke to do something, we now hear that Duke officials are cooperating with police and FBI. Reports are that Lombard is charged with "attempting to induce someone to cross state lines to engage in a sexual offense." DURHAM -- The Duke University official charged with soliciting adults over the Internet to have sex with a 5-year-old boy told an undercover police officer that he had sexually molested the child himself multiple times, according to an arrest warrant.

If you are not familiar with the case, related links are listed below, but here's the terrible and short story: Frank Lombard was a Duke University professor. He was an Associate Director of the Center for Health Policy at Duke. He is believed to have adopted two Black boys. The child involved in this case is 5-years-old. There is no information as to the child's age at the time the abuse began. Lombard lives with his partner, Ken Shipp, also a Duke employee at 24 Indigo Creek Trail in a planned community, Eno Commons, Durham, N.C. It is believed that North Carolina law allows only one gay or lesbian parent to legally be an adoptive parent, so Shipp's role within the family is unclear. Lombard was caught in an internet sting with a video chat with an undercover officer.

A search warrant filed for Lombard's house further outlines the case against him and includes a transcript of the chat between an undercover officer and "F.L." In the chat, "F.L.” told the officer that abusing the child was "easier when he was too young to know what was happening and when he couldn't talk ...He had a little too much Benadryl. Was knocked out." In a subsequent online chat, the warrant says, “F.L.” invited the officer to fly to Durham to have sexual contact with the child. He even suggested a hotel. Lombard faces a federal charge of attempting to induce someone to cross state lines to engage in a sexual offense. He was being held without bond at the Durham County jail Friday. A conviction would carry a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.

Another inmate has told authorities that he witnessed "F.L." also known as cooper2 or cooperese, molest his son on live camera. It is believed that Lombard is in a Durham, N.C. jail awaiting extradition to Washington, D.C. Back to the charges. Maybe the snitch is being vetted. That's the only reason I can think of that would preclude charges for raping and molesting your own little boy. While he "pimped" his child across state lines, in my book that pales in comparison to what he, himself, did to his own child.

Lombard, 42, is charged by complaint with a violation of 18 USC 2242(a); an offense that could result in a maximum sentence of 20 years.

From the press release, and about the snitch:

The complaint alleges Task Force members were told by a confidential source that he/she had witnessed on three or four occasions an individual, alleged to be Lombard, performing oral sex and other sex acts on a child believed to be under the age of ten. The confidential source indicted he was told that others had sexually molested the child. The source was also told that the individual’s live-in, male partner had not participated in the sexual abuse. The complaint alleges that Lombard subsequently told an MPD detective, posing on line as an interested party, that he had performed multiple sexual acts on his 5-year-old adopted child and that that the task force member could do the same if he flew to the Raleigh/Durham area. A warrant for Lombard’s arrest was then obtained.

This is the first time I've read that the snitch was told [allegedly by Lombard] that the little boy had been made available to others in the past.

One of the earlier reports on former Duke University professor, Frank Lombard showed a complaint of Lombard saying he was "into incest." This is some two years before he was finally jailed for allegedly raping, molesting, and attempting to offer his adopted 5-year-old son for sex to a stranger. In addition to these terrible crimes against his child, he molested him on camera in online chat and video sessions.

In the 2007 complaint:

ICUii also shared with the FBI a complaint filed in January 2007 against Frank Lombard from another user. That user alleged Lombard said he "was into incest" and had adopted two African-American children, the affidavit says.

In the June 2009 online chat that put Lombard in jail, the undercover police officer chatting with Lombard reports the following:

F.L." [Frank Lombard] described specific sex acts he had performed on a 5-year-old child and said that he lived in Durham. In the chat transcript, WRAL reports, "F.L." is asked how he got access to a child so young. "Adopted," he replied, and said that the process was "not so hard ... esp (sic) for a black boy." In the chat, "F.L." told Palchak that abusing the child was "easier when he was too young to know what was happening and when he couldn't talk ...He had a little too much Benadryl. Was knocked out."

Lombard was originally placed in a Durham jail but reports are that he was or will be moved to Washington, D.C. to face charges. One report says that Lombard "waived detention hearing in MD/NC." This man who raped and molested his own child has hired an attorney. I found a report saying that attorney Brian Aus appeared with Lombard. No confirmation on that, although Brian Aus is listed as a Durham attorney. Sherri Zann Rosenthal is the developer of the communal cohousing development where Frank Lombard, the Duke University professor and gay pedophile rapist dad lives with his partner Kenneth Shipp. Shipp is also a staff member at Duke University.

Sherri Zann Rosenthal's Zann Developments LLC created Eno Commons where Frank Lombard and his partner, Kenneth Shipp live. She is a city attorney in Durham, N.C. where this awful scene is playing out. Rosenthal is an openly gay activist, and her partner, Daya Breckinridge is on the Nursing school staff at Duke University and owns 'Yoga in the Hood' studio. In a webpage describing Eno Commons says this:

People of all ages, races, religious beliefs, and affectional preferences are invited to make Eno Commons their home.

On another webpage there's this:

There are 22 households in Eno Commons consisting of 38 adults. There are 22 children, of which 11% "identify as 'people of color' (all are children)." The website directs the reader to an article in IndyWeek which interviews gay and lesbian parents about the legal travails of being same-sex parents. The article is centered around Cathy Surles and Kelly Rimer and their two adopted boys. The Surles-Rimer family lives in Eno Commons.

 I know you remember that Durham and Duke University were in the Nation's headlights for a couple of years after some Duke Lacrosse players were accused of raping an "exotic dancer." In the end, the young men were cleared and all charges were dropped, MSM driveled to a drip when the men were exonerated, and we have little press on Lombard and his son...even though some working for the city and some working for Duke seem to have connections.

 Sherri Zann Rosenthal works in the Durham City Attorney's Office. Her position is unclear. At times I've read that she is a an assistant City Attorney. Tracey Cline became the first Black and first woman to be elected as Durham District Attorney. She was second chair to Mike Nifong, the District Attorney at the time, who tried his darndest to take the Lacrosse players to trial.

Cline claimed that she knew absolutely nothing about Nifong railroading the defendents in the rape case, but who believes that? She was the backup prosecutor, and she won the election for District Attorney anyway.

Also listed as a part of the Durham city offices is Sharon A. Thompson of the Sharon Thompson Law Group. She is heavily involved with gay and lesbian parents.

Then we move to Duke University where the nursing program was front and center with medical evidence used against the Lacrosse players. As a supposed-victim, Crystal Magnum claimed she was raped, was treated at the Duke University Medical Center. It's confusing and I'm just going to skim the surface, but a nurse there was rushed through receiving certain credentials (SANE) to allow her to testify against the Lacrosse players. Her name is Tara Livecy. She was charged with giving false and misleading evidence, or something close to that.

The Duke University Medical Center was implicated for "breaching it's duties." Whether connected or not, I have to ask, what in the world is going on in Durham and at Duke? Frank Lombard worked for Duke before his arrest. He is now on leave and you can't find him anywhere on the University's website.

His gay partner, Kenneth Shipp works at Duke. Daya Breckenbridge, Sherri Zann Rosenthal's lesbian partner works for Duke. Was her nursing supervisor possibly Theresa Arico - also implicated in the charges against Tara Livecy?

And we find that Lombard and Shipp live in the commune developed by Rosenthal, advertised to be welcoming to all manner of gender and sexual descriptions - and where children live in "paradise." Where is Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton? Surely they are outraged at what this White guy did to this little Black boy. Come on Reverends! Let's hear what you have to say.
