Child Soldiers Okay in Sudan, Yemen, Chad, Congo: Obama Funds Child Soldiers

U.S. law stipulates that we will not extend aid to any country utilizing "child soldiers." At least it was the law until Obama exempted Sudan, Yemen, Chad and the Congo. They use children for solidiers...we send money anyway. Barack Obama deemed it so. Congress wants to know why.

State Department spokesman, P.J. Crowley explained that these four countries "need more time" to implement the policies we object to, and to keep stability in these areas. We will break our own laws, because in The Time of Obama, the Rule of Law means nothing. 

The law requires the State Department to list governments that recruit and use child soldiers in the annual “Trafficking in Persons Report.” Governments appearing on the list are prohibited from receiving military assistance or buying arms from the United States unless the president grants an exemption on grounds of "national interest."

Republican Congressman Jeff Fortenberry (Neb) says the waiver is an "affront to our principles," and is a "most serious human rights violation...." He is awaiting a memo of "waiver justification" from the White House, due in 45 days.

Think about these four egregious countries: the Sudan, Yemen, Chad and the Congo. None have the slightest penchant for human rights, especially for women and children. Children are routinely raped in each. There is no governmental stability in any of the four countries. Who will these children be fighting against? What are we thinking when we break our own laws designed to protect children? Do we consider that in each of these countries, Muslims are at the heart of the problem? Can't wait for Obama's "justification" memo.

New Jersey Teachers Caught on Video: NJ Teacher Unions Gone Wild

James O'Keefe has new investigative videos out: New Jersey Teachers Gone Wild, which he says was taped by "citizen journalists," some of them actors, inside a meeting of the New Jersey Education Association. The videos are said to be undercover audio and camera footage from the NJEA summer leadership conference at the New Brunswick Hilton, as well as a phone conversation with a school principal regarding an issue of race.  A spokesman for the New Jersey Education Association, Steve Baker, appears briefly in the video twice, says "the whole thing is a complete fabrication, built on lies." The most shocking thing to me is in the first video, you hear that in collective bargaining, the NJEA "fixed some of those things," they did not agree with, after the "bargaining" was closed. The speaker said Christie was not aware that the bargaining had been "fixed," [changed].

You hear a man say he was educated at Rutgers, could be a principal, and could F**k with the kids!

In the video, you hear this chant, among others:

"Let's have a whiskey and get a little misty. Join me now and slander Chris Christie"

A woman seen in the video (and identified as a teacher from Passaic) is playing a video game:

"That's why we're laughing here, we're playing video games on their dime."

Another woman who identifies hereself as a teacher from Passaic, says:

"It's really hard to fire a teacher."

"like you have to seriously be in a hallway F-ing somebody." 

"...a tenured teacher would need to perform a sex act in a hallway in order to be fired."

You can also hear a chant, part of which is inaudible, but you clearly hear the group saying they will "kick Chris Christie in the toolbox."

If you have a child, or a grandchild, a niece or nephew in New Jersey schools, this has to make you both physically sick, as well as saddened that our schools employee teachers who are delighted knowing the taxpayer is funding their "play time," would call a child the "N" word, would illegally change an agreed upon contract, and use the "F" word in the same sentence with the word "kids."

These videos will be intensely scrutinized for editing and audio verification. It will be interesting to see how it shakes out, Governor Chris Christie said the videos are "distressing - and revealing - to say the least."

William Lynch Pummels Pedophile Priest Jerold Lindner: Lynch Smiles When Arrested

The headline: Pedophile priest's victim smiles as he is arrested for a 'revenge beating' 35 years later. That almost tells the whole story, but there is more. The priest, Jerold Lindner is alleged to have molested William Lynch's younger brother as well as William Lynch.

William Lynch, 43, grinned in his mugshot as he was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon for the May 10 attack that sent the Rev. Jerold Lindner to the hospital with bruises and lacerations.

Lynch harbored a fantasy for years of confronting the priest, who also allegedly molested Lynch's little brother and up to a dozen others.

Lynch and his younger brother settled with the Jesuits of the California Province, a Roman Catholic religious order, for $625,000 (£390,000) in 1998 after alleging that Lindner abused them in 1975 during weekend camping trips in the Santa Cruz Mountains.

Does it get anymore despicable than this?  

The boys, who were seven and five at the time, were raped in the woods and forced to have oral sex with each other while Lindner watched, Harris said. Lindner has been accused of abuse by nearly a dozen people, including his own sister and nieces and nephews [some as young as three years old].

There are some 150 accusations of molestation and rape. Someone within the church is quoted saying the pervert, Jerold Lindner, has "recovered" and is "living a quiet life of prayer and service within our community."

Umm Talha Arrested: Zach Chesser New Charges: Proscovia Kampire Nzabanita Arrested

Umm Talha, the wife of Zachary Chesser, the Virginia man who threatened the creators of the TV show, "South Park" has been arrested. Also known as Proscovia Kampire Nzabanita, Umm Talha now has federal charges filed against her. Zach A. Chesser was charged yesterday with "one count of communicating threats and another count of soliciting crimes of violence. These new charges against Chesser join previous charges of adding material support to terrorists, and carry an additional penalty of 15 years in prison. See a video below.

The only sadness I feel is for her parents. When they found out their daughter wanted to go to Somalia with her husband, they hid her passport from her so she wouldn't go. Unfortunately the asshole husband, Zach, grabbed their grandchild and headed for Somalia anyway.

What kind of a monster intentionally takes a baby into a war zone? 

Chesser, 20, reportedly tried to join the Somalian terrorist group Al Shabab, and made two attempts to flee to Somalia. He has an alias of course: Abu Talhan Al-Amrikee. According to this story, Chessler has communicated directly with Anwar Awlaki "several times."

Chesser's wife, Proscovia Kampire Nzabanita, was also charged Monday with one count of making a false statement, which carries a possible prison sentence of up to eight years. Her charge is related to her husband's case, but it was not clear how.

Brendan O'Rourke is Kelley Elementary School Gunman: Brendan O'Rourke Has Security Guard License

Brendan O'Rourke has been named the gunman in the Carlsbad, California, Kelly Elementary School shootings. Today we know that O'Rourke holds a valid security guard's license, issued by the state of California. The license does not permit him to carry a gun. With 5 shots fired, two girls, ages 6 and 7 received grazing wounds to their arms. One of O'Rourke's neighbors said he "screams out things, like "I'm going to burn your eyes out."

From CBS KFMB-TV, at least one of O'Rourke's neighbors has previously called the police due to his "erratic behavior."

Records show O'Rourke has previous addresses and relatives in Illinois. He currently lives in the Canyon Creek Apartments on Garrison St. in Oceanside, records show. Neighbors in the complex described O'Rourke as a loner with a temper. Resident Vickie Roe-Mitchell told News 8 she has called police on O'Rourke in the past for his erratic behavior.

"I'm not surprised.  I'm kind of scared of him," Roe-Mitchell said.  "He'd scream out things like, 'I'm going to burn your eyes out.  I'm going to kill you.'"

O'Rourke is 41 years old and reportedly has no prior felony record, although he has "several minor traffic violations in Illinois - assuming that does not have a record under a false name.

Terry Lynn was the O'Rourke jump the fence and fire.

"He was saying something about the president, he was ranting," Lynn said.

There seems to be no news about the presidential rantings.

A 6 year old student, Kenny Speck, said he heard classmates crying and say some of them "went over the fence." Kenny said he ran to Room 23 for safety. The school has about 450 students.

A neighbor and two construction workers helped apprehend the gunman. Reports are mixed. Some say the shooter jumped over a fence onto school grounds, and others say he was outside the fence, shooting in. One student said "I looked in his eyes and it was scary."

Construction worker Carlos Partida said he saw the suspect firing his gun at the children. He said the gunman appeared to be reloading and trying to leave the scene when he jumped in his truck and rammed the man, knocking him down.

“My reaction was to get him. Get him away from the kids,” he said. Partida said he and two other construction workers held the gunman down until police arrived.

Scott Chandler, a professional surfer, lives across the street from Kelly and helped apprehend O'Rourke:

"There was a lot of screaming and hard to tell who was screaming. I've heard different slurs he was saying from other neighbors but he was. At that time, put it this way, the construction workers I believe were all wearing steel-toed boots, and he took a pretty good beating. I looked at him eye to eye, what are you shooting at kids, what's your motive and what you are doing? He kind of grunted, didn't make any comments, just looking into his eyes, he had the crazy look in his eyes. He wasn't all there." 

Along with Carlos Partida and Scott Chandler, Steven Kane and Maro Contreras are hailed as heroes.

Police recovered a 5-gallon gas can and a propane tank in the suspect's car. The bomb squad was called. His pockets were "full of" cartridges, a flashlight and "other electronic devices. He was reported to be carrying a Jack-o-Lantern in one hand as he charged toward the children. O'Rourke gave Police three different names, one a female name. The weapon used was a .357 magnum and is in police custody.

I'm still looking for the mugshot. O'Rourke is held in a San Diego County jail in Vista, California under six counts of attempted murder and numerous weapons violations. Police say he is not cooperating and "probably has some mental health issues."

Mentor Ohio High School Suicides: Mentor School Sued by Parents of Suicide Victims

In 2008, Mentor high school student Sladjana Vidovic, 16, tied a rope around her neck and the other end to her bed post and jumped out of her bedroom window. Eric Mohat shot himself in the head in March 2007. He was also a student at Mentor High. Meredith Rezak, just 16 years old, died by a self-inflicted shotgun wound to the head after joining Mentor's Gay-Straight Alliance, just 3 weeks after here friend Eric Mohat died. Jennifer Eyring, a child with a learning disability, overdosed on her mother's anti-depression pills and died in 2006. It is believed each of these students were bullied.

After Meredith Rezak, in 11th grade at Mentor committed suicide, a year later her 22-year-old brother, Justin, shot and killed himself. The remaining Rezak sibling, Matthew, died of a drug overdose in March 2010, at age 21.

The Eyring family and the Rezak family do not hold Mentor High responsible. The Vidovic and Mohat families have sued the school, but are asking for no monetary compensation.

Eric Mohat, 17, sat in a classroom and listened to a bully say out loud, "Why don't you go home and shoot yourself, no one will miss you."

Most of the harassment took place in math class and the teacher -- an athletic coach -- was accused of failing to protect the boy.

The father of a friend of Eric's, Dan Hughes, moved his son to another school, and said these students who died were "extremely bright," were "nerds" and were easy targets for bullies.

"What it boils down to is the football players, cheerleaders and kids with money have a different set of rules than everybody else," Hughes told ABCNews.com.

Throughout history, there have always been bullies at schools - probably at every school - everywhere. There are children who will suffer at the words and the fists of bullies, but suffering to the point of suicide...? Parents and school staff must do something about extreme bullying and parents must prepare their children to find the inner strength to get through it. We are the adults. What are we going to do about it - specifically when the school claims bullying is "not a problem." Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook Creator Joins NAMBLA: Facebook Scrubs NAMBLA

I saw the movie Social Network a few days ago - the amazing story of how Mark Zuckerberg and friends created Facebook. I was stunned when I saw a Forbes headline "Mark Zuckerberg Joins The North American Man-Boy Love Association" (NAMBLA). I have no knowledge of Zuckerberg's sexual preference, but whatever it is, I would not expect him to be a member of NAMBLA. In return, or maybe because of Fox News, Facebook has begun purging the pedophile group known as NAMBLA. See videos below.

Facebook has given it's users a new option. We can create "Groups" and apportion friends to any group we want, whether that friend likes it or not:

Blogger Michael Arrington seems to have already performed a helpful proof-of-concept by adding Mark Zuckerberg to a group supposedly representing NAMBLA, the North American Man-Boy Love Association. Zuckerberg’s addition to the group is broadcast to all of his friends, as shown in the image above.

So I assume this is a joke...but NAMBLA is not a joke. Fox News reported the increasing presence of NAMBLA on Facebook:

The world’s largest pro-pedophilia advocacy group uses Facebook to connect with its members throughout the world; to find and exchange photos of children; to hone its members' predatory behavior; and to identify, target and reel in child victims, an investigation by Fox News.com reveals.

“NAMBLA” in the “Organizations-Advocacy Organizations” category, which featured a photo of a man being kissed on the cheek by a small child.  Its description read: “We are the North American Man/Boy Love Association. Our sole purpose is to push forward the concept that a consenting man (18+) and a consenting minor (-18) can have a sexual and loving relationship legally.

NAMBLA's website says they are "expanding" their online presence. On their page "Why NAMBLA Matters," their first bullet is followed by "For 30 years, NAMBLA has been the primary voice testifying to the benevolent aspects of man/boy love."

NAMBLA is a vile organization, traveling around the world on the hunt for underage boys, especially in third world countries. They have survived by hiding behind Free Speech. South Park aired a segment written around them. Barack Obama's "Safe Schools" Czar, Kevin Jennings, a gay man, has said he was "inspired" by Harry Hay, the founder of Radical Faeries, and a communist. Hay was not a member of NAMBLA but was a featured speaker at some NAMBLA events and was well acquainted with the mission of Man/Boy Love members. There are times when I have admired statements issued by Camille Paglia (danged if I can remember any of them this minute), not that I know a lot about her, but get this statement on the passing of Alan Ginsberg, titled The Purity of Allen Ginsberg's Boy-Love:

As far as Ginsberg's pro-NAMBLA stand goes, this is one of the things I most admire him for. I have repeatedly protested the lynch-mob hysteria that dogs the issue of man-boy love. In "Sexual Personae," I argued that male pedophilia is intricately intertwined with the cardinal moments of Western civilization. Donatello's historically pivotal bronze sculpture, "David" (1430), was my main exhibit -- a languidly flirtatious work that would get the artist arrested for kiddie porn these days. In "Vamps & Tramps," I said that Western moralism and hypocrisy have driven the matter underground and overseas, where impoverished Third World boys now supply the sex trade.

So, if I were Mark Zuckerman, I might think of suing.

I cannot vouch for how much of the movie is true, or how much embellished, but I believe most is true, and I predict it be will be at the top of well-deserved Oscar handouts. I was riveted. Congo Rape: 200 Women and Boys Raped by Forces for Liberation of Rwanda

A U.N. military camp is situated about 10 miles from the town of Luvungi in eastern Congo, where 200 women and several infant boys were raped, some repeatedly gang-raped, some taken deep into the forest, abused and left to die or crawl back home. Luvungi is a mineral rich mining town with gold, cassiterite and coltan, and every rebel in the Congo wants to control the riches.

The small staff of about 25 U.N. "peacekeepers" knew the FDLR (Democratic Forces for the Liberation of Rwanda) and Congolese rebels were in Luvungi, but were outnumbered by the 200-400 attackers.  .
The attacks began on July 30th and continued until the rebels left of their own accord on August 4th.
A U.N. spokesman at the New York headquarters said he has verified 154 women were raped. International and local Congo health officials say they have treated 179 women but the numbers could soar as many are afraid to speak out and some women are still coming back into town from the forest.

Four young boys also were raped, said Dr. Kasimbo Charles Kacha, the district medical chief. Masudi said they were babies aged one month, six months, a year and 18 months.

"Many women said they were raped in their homes in front of their children and husbands, and many said they were raped repeatedly by three to six men," Cragin said. Others were dragged into the nearby forest.

Four young boys also were raped, said Dr. Kasimbo Charles Kacha, the district medical chief. Masudi said they were babies aged one month, six months, a year and 18 months.

Rape as a weapon of war has become shockingly commonplace in eastern Congo, where at least 8,300 rapes were reported last year, according to the United Nations. It is believed that many more rapes go unreported. 

Some reports claim that during the time of the attacks, some "Indian" peacekeepers provided a military escort for a commercial shipment, bringing charges that goods, but not civilians were protected. I'm not sure where the "Indian" peacekeepers come into the picture.

About a year ago, the U.K.'s Mirror accused two British firms, Amalgamated Metals and Afrimex, of "buying minerals" and funding armed thugs.

The Congolese government has demanded that the U.N. mission in Congo withdraw, saying it has failed in its mission. The force of 20,000 U.N. soldiers are the largest peacekeeping mission in the world, at a cost of $1.35 billion annually. The U.N. cites the 20,000 troops are far too few for the size of the mission where rebels regularly use civilians as shields. In May, the U.N. agreed to withdraw "up to 2,000 troops." So, does this mean the U.N. is occupying Congo?

Nothing like a mosque in Manhattan full of thousands of Arab men who think marrying girls of six to nine years of age is just fine. This video shows a Hamas mass wedding, a long line of grown men holding a little girl's hand - she all dressed in white - no clue of her abhorrent future. The creepy imam explains that Muslims use Muhammad's marriage to Aisha as the example to follow. Muhammad married Aisha when she was six and had sex with her when she was nine years old. Thousands of Arab men will gather in the Grand Zero mosque and "community center." If you think these despicable behaviors do not follow the mosque-dwellers to the U.S., you are naive. If you think these men aren't ecstatic at the thought of sleeping with a nine year old, because the Prophet did it, you are dishonest. It's what civil people call pedophilia.

Aminat Magomadova Strangled by Muslim Mother: Judge Sentences Counselling

Aset Magomadova strangled her 14-year-old daughter with a headscarf and killed her. The mother said her daughter came after her with a knife. A knife in the girl's room was found, but Aminat Magomadova's finger prints were not on the knife.

The mother was acquitted of second-degree murder and found guilty of manslaughter. A Canadian judge sentenced the mother to three years probation with counselling for grief, depression and anger management.

The devout Muslim mother claimed Aminat came at her with a knife in her sewing room, where she prayed several times a day. She said she reacted by wrapping the scarf around her daughter’s neck and twice told the girl to put the knife down before the teen lost consciousness.

Prosecutors asked for a 12-year-prison sentence, but the judge decided the Defense Attorney had a better idea when he told the judge "a suspended sentence can still meet the demands of justice."

Magomadova arrived in Canada "for a better life for herself and her children from Chechnaya, where her husband had been killed by Russian invaders and she had a part of her foot blown off.

The mother agreed that probation was an appropriate sentence. What if the daughter had killed the mother? The murder happened in February 2007. Aminat Magomadova's life meant nothing. Just a couple of strong jerks on the ends of a scarf for 2-1/2 minutes, and a life is snuffed-out - and no one cares.

Roman Polanski Free: Roman Polanski Swiss Extradition to US Denied

In October 2009 I wrote "the Swiss get it" as they agreed to extradite Roman Polanski back to the U.S. to face charges of sodomy, rape and drugging a 13 year old girl in 1977. The extradition would come after the the U.S. provided requested paperwork, which eventually included records from a January 2010 hearing in Los Angeles.

Polanski's attorneys argued that in 1977 an L.A. judge ruled that Polanski's 42 days in a psychiatric unit in a California prison fulfilled the entire sentencing of the child rapist, who jumped bail and fled the country the night before sentencing. The original judge in the case, Laurence J. Rittenband, died in 1993. The January 2010 hearing was to examine the Judge's words and intentions. The U.S. refused to provide those sealed records, so Romanski, who has been living in a beautiful Swiss chalet under electronic monitoring, is now free.

A report just out on Fox News says the search for 7-year-old Kyron Hormon is now centering around the step-mother, Terri Moulton Hormon. Cell phone pings alerted police to Portland, Oregon's Sauvie Island, which indicates Mrs. Horman was on the island at the time she said she was at Kyron's school. This report says Kyron's paternal uncle, Kristian Horman (not Hormon) was sentenced yesterday on Child Molestation charges. That website spells Kyron's name both Hormon and Horman.

Yes, instead of condemning this barbaric practice, they suggest that a doctor perform the procedure instead.

In a controversial change to a longstanding policy concerning the practice of female circumcision in some African and Asian cultures, the American Academy of Pediatrics is suggesting that American doctors be given permission to perform a ceremonial pinprick or “nick” on girls from these cultures if it would keep their families from sending them overseas for the full circumcision.

The academy’s committee on bioethics, in a policy statement last week, said some pediatricians had suggested that current federal law, which “makes criminal any nonmedical procedure performed on the genitals” of a girl in the United States, has had the unintended consequence of driving some families to take their daughters to other countries to undergo mutilation.

“It might be more effective if federal and state laws enabled pediatricians to reach out to families by offering a ritual nick as a possible compromise to avoid greater harm,” the group said.

But some opponents of female genital mutilation, or F.G.M., denounced the statement.

“I am sure the academy had only good intentions, but what their recommendation has done is only create confusion about whether F.G.M. is acceptable in any form, and it is the wrong step forward on how best to protect young women and girls,” said Representative Joseph Crowley, Democrat of New York, who recently introduced a bill to toughen federal law by making it a crime to take a girl overseas to be circumcised. “F.G.M. serves no medical purpose, and it is rightfully banned in the U.S.”

Georganne Chapin, executive director of an advocacy group called Intact America, said she was “astonished that a group of intelligent people did not see the utter slippery slope that we put physicians on” with the new policy statement. “How much blood will parents be satisfied with?”

She added: “There are countries in the world that allow wife beating, slavery and child abuse, but we don’t allow people to practice those customs in this country. We don’t let people have slavery a little bit because they’re going to do it anyway, or beat their wives a little bit because they’re going to do it anyway.”

A member of the academy’s bioethics committee, Dr. Lainie Friedman Ross, associate director of the MacLean Center for Clinical Medical Ethics at the University of Chicago, said the panel’s intent was to issue a “statement on safety in a culturally sensitive context.”

Dr. Friedman Ross said that the committee members “oppose all types of female genital cutting that impose risks or physical or psychological harm,” and consider the ritual nick “a last resort,” but that the nick is “supposed to be as benign as getting a girl’s ears pierced. It’s taking a pin and creating a drop of blood.”

She said the panel had heard anecdotes from worried doctors.

“If we just told parents, ‘No, this is wrong,’ our concern is they may take their daughters back to their home countries, where the procedure may be more extensive cutting and may even be done without anesthesia, with unsterilized knives or even glass,” she said. “A just-say-no policy may end up alienating these families, who are going to then find an alternative that will do more harm than good.”

Currently, more than 130 million women and girls worldwide have undergone female genital cutting, according to the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. It is mostly performed on girls younger than 15 in countries including Ethiopia, Sudan and Somalia. Consequences can include severe complications with pregnancy, childbirth and sexual dysfunction.

The academy’s statement acknowledged that opponents of the procedure, “including women from African countries, strongly oppose any compromise that would legitimize even the most minimal procedure.”

Dr. Friedman Ross said, “If you medicalize it and say it’s permissible, is there a possibility that some people will misunderstand it and go beyond a nick? Yes.”

But she said the risk that people denied the ceremonial procedure, usually on the clitoris, would opt for the more harmful one was much more dangerous.

And the statement said that, “in some countries where FGC is common, some progress toward eradication or amelioration has been made by substituting ritual ‘nicks’ for more severe forms.”

Just like the rest of the Moonbat left, the AAP is more concerned with being Politically Correct (As by this remark:  “statement on safety in a culturally sensitive context.”) than with the health and welfare of little girls.

Let us just satisfy the bloodlust of these barbarians monsters who mutilate their daughters.  Forget the fact that this procedure leaves a young girl scarred both physically and mentally, who grow up to have problems in childbirth later in life.  But they must not condemn, not insult.

FGM is illegal in every state.  But if this is adopted by every Pediatrician it will become a lucrative sideline for these doctors.

I am so lucky that my children are grown, but if your children are still young, ask your Pediatrician if he or she agrees with this proposal. If he or she does, then run, do not walk far away from him or her.  If this doctor agrees with such a practice, what else will he/she agree with doing to a child if Political Correctness deems it necessary?

Catholic Sex Abuse Hotline Meltdown in Germany - 4000 Call in

The media is officially calling this The Hour of the Children. The Catholic Church in Germany set up a sexual abuse hotline. Incoming calls numbering 4,459 caused a meltdown of the system on its first day of operation.  Here's what I do not understand: if a priest decides not to keep his celibacy vows, why victimize children? Why not find adults and have affairs? What kind of spirit is inside a man who would do this to a child (and I ask this of any denomination)?

Catholic Sex Abuse Hotline - Pope Benedict XVI

An abuse hotline set up by the Catholic Church in Germany melted down on its first day of operation as more than 4,000 alleged victims of paedophile and violent priests called in to seek counselling and advice.

The numbers were far more than the handful of therapists assigned to deal with them could cope with 

In the end only 162 out of 4,459 callers were given advice before the system was shut down.

Andreas Zimmer, head of the project in the Bishopric of Trier, admitted that he wasn't prepared for "that kind of an onslaught'.

Earlier this week it was alleged that an ally of the Pope, Bishop Mixa, beat children - a charge he has subsequently denied.

Former girls and boys testified that he beat them with fists and a carpet beater which screaming; 'The devil is in you and I will drive him out!'

No surprise that parishioners are leaving the church in "droves" in Germany. One-quarter of Catholics in Germany say they have lost faith in church leadership:

Frank M. Lombard Sentenced: Duke Child Predator Frank Lombard Sentenced

Finally some news about one of the most despicable child sexual predators in history. Frank M. Lombard, the Duke University employee who adopted a child, drugged him, sodomized him, and performed other lewd and lascivious acts on camera for the benefit of another pedophile in prison, has been sentenced to 27 years and 3 months in prison. Lombard's sentence came from one charge of producing child pornography.

Lombard, and his partner Ken Shipp, also a Duke University employee, adopted two black boys - or perhaps Lombard was the only adopter. The youngest son, who was 5 years old at the time Lombard was caught, was repeatedly abused by his father. After the crime was reported, everything...all information about Lombard was shutdown, and a thinking person just couldn't help but think the silence was because this was about gay adoption.

This report says that the sentence is for "producing child pornography." What about child endangerment, what about rape, what about assault, what about dereliction of parental obligation, what about drugging a child, time after time, and what about offering his son for sex to another man. I cannot understand only the one charge. I assume there was a plea deal, but justice was not done for this little boy.

Lombard was arrested in June 2009 after an FBI sting. He pleaded guilty in December. A news report says Lombard "was charged to a federal child sex charge." He was also sentenced to lifetime supervision after leaving prison. Wonderful. We know how well "supervision" works - not well usually. These predators end up wherever they want to be. Parole officers don't have a clue. John Couey, the kidnapper, raper and murderer of little Jessica Lunsford shows the folly of thinking these beasts can live among decent people.

In recommending the sentence, U.S. Attorney Ronald C. Machen, Jr. wrote, "The defendant betrayed the trust of his adopted child in the most deplorable way imaginable. His child became nothing more than a pawn in his persistent attempts to gratify himself by sexually molesting him and chatting online with as many other pedophiles as possible.

Frank M. Lombard served as an associate director of the center for Health Policy at Duke. The university terminated his employment. According to early reports, his partner Ken Shipp did not know about the rapes, the drugging, the molestations, or the child pornography in his own home.

Motive in IG Walpin Firing? Larry Brown Curries Favor with Obama? Michelle Rhee Covers for Kevin Johnson?

Inspector General Gerald Walpin was fired by the White House for exposing the misuse of federal funds by AmeriCorps and former NBA star Kevin Johnson, currently the mayor of Sacramento, California. Today we learn one possible motive for instigating Walpin's removal.

The story has all the eye-popping details of a sensational National Enquirer story. Think John Edwards and his love child. The Walpin story has prestige: An honorable Inspector General doing his job spectacularly well. An acting U.S. Attorney, Larry Brown, looking for a presidential appointment, a famed NBA star, Kevin Johnson, just elected Mayor of Sacramento, California. Johnson's charity, St. HOPE Academy, AmeriCorps volunteers, $75 million in tainted federal funds, and the future chancellor of Washington, D.C. schools and St. HOPE Chairman of the Board, Michelle Rhee. Johnson and Rhee would soon be engaged. Then there are the three young school age girls who accused Kevin Johnson of inappropriate sexual behavior,  and the appearance, at least, that Michelle Rhee knew of the misused funds and the claims of the young girls.

Inspector General Gerald Walpin found that Kevin Johnson and AmeriCorps had spent $75 million in federal funds in inappropriate ways. Walpin's report to Congress also detailed the accusations of the three young women. Much has happened since the schizey hit the fan. Walpin has been cleared of all  the ethics charges that U.S. Attorney General Lawrence Brown tired to instigate,  including "overstepped authority." Walpin wants his job back and has sued.

Keep this in mind as the new part of this story evolves. Kevin Johnson and Barack Obama are tight. It is believed that Michelle O is tight with Michelle Rhee, the chancellor of Washington, D.C. schools. Michelle Rhee and Kevin Johnson are now engaged. Before the engagement, Rhee sat on the board of St. HOPE. A Washington, D.C. education blogger poses some problems and asks some questions:

...holding several, conflicting positions for one organization – Ms. Rhee’s titles at the St. Hope Charter Academy boggle the mind. 

Were all the positions paid positions? How did she perform the duties of board member and Chief Operating Officer at the same time? 

As president, Chief Operating Officer and Board Member at the same time? as President, COO, board member and a consultant for St. Hope on three projects, at the same time? 

Why, when  Rhee was apprised by St. Hope employee Jacqueline Wong-Hernandez about sexual misconduct allegations against Kevin Johnson by 3 Americorps teenage volunteers, did she not contact California State authorities she was obligated to do under California law?

As COO and President, not to mention those consulting positions, was Ms. Rhee aware of the misuse of Americorps funds and volunteers as outlined in the Investigative General’s report of August 2008?  

As one of the top three office holders of St. Hope it seems that either Ms. Rhee was aware and therefore particpated or that she was not aware and she was negligent in her duties or these positions were merely window dressing for her resume and padding for her bank account.

So Walpin's report was in. Kevin Johnson was soon to be sworn as Sacramento mayor and...there was a big problem. Johnson and his charity were under suspension from federal funds. This meant, as mayor, Johnson disqualified Sacramento from receiving a single penny from taxpayers.

So here is where it really gets interesting. Enter acting U.S. Attorney General Lawrence Brown. Brown wanted President Obama to appoint him as permanent Attorney General.  Brown stepped in, made a civil deal with Kevin Johnson to repay some of the funds - money that Walpin showed neither Johnson or his charity had available, that agreement lifted the ban on Sacramento's federal funding and Brown used his official letterhead to get Walpin investigated by the 'Integrity and Ethics" Counsel of Inspectors General.

Michelle Rhee didn't give up on Kevin - a few charges of inappropriate behavior with young woman? Not really important. She paid a visit to Gerald Walpin to plead Johnson's case, but Walpin's report remained unchanged.

From a Department of Justice document:

Acting United States Attorney Lawrence G. Brown announced today that St. HOPE Academy has agreed to pay $423,836.50 to settle allegations that St. HOPE did not appropriately spend AmeriCorps grant awards and education awards...The amount of the civil settlement represents one-half of the $847,673 in AmeriCorps grant funds received by St. HOPE Academy. 

“The agreement reached strikes a proper balance between accountability and finality. St. HOPE Academy must pay a significant amount for its improper handling of AmeriCorps funds. [Don't you love this one?]

St. HOPE will make an initial payment of $73,836.50 by electronic transfer within five business days from today;

Kevin Johnson will pay $72,836.50 of the initial payment by St. HOPE, with possible repayment to Johnson by St. HOPE when it is financially able to do so;

Dana Gonzalez will pay $1,000.00 of the initial payment by St. HOPE.

Johnson and Gonzalez shall each register to take an online course offered by Management Concepts titled “Cost Principles”;

Save a president's friend from public shame and you just might get a presidential appointment. 

The Washington Examiner published information today on Larry's Brown's ambitions for the presidential appointment to the U.S. Attorney's office:

In a January 5, 2009 letter to Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein, Brown's home-state senator and a senior member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Brown wrote, "I write to express my interest in appointment as United States Attorney for the Eastern District of California" -- a presidentially-appointed position. In the letter, Brown took care to highlight his Democratic credentials.

"As this is a political appointment," Brown wrote: I will note that for the past two years, I have been registered as Decline to State. From 1988-2007, I was a registered Democrat and from 1982-1988, a Republican. As may be evident, I am not a rigid ideologue and discovered that I simply did not fit neatly within either party. I chose to ultimately become an independent because I felt that in my line of work, namely the administration of justice, neither party has a monopoly and its handiwork must be performed in non-partisan fashion. I count myself in the ranks of those who have grown weary of the overly-simplistic "red state/blue state" debates over complex issues and enthusiastically embrace President-elect Obama's call to abandon such labels and become the united states [sic] of America.

When Obama's White House counsel, Gregory Craig, fired Walpin, he used Brown's accusatory letter. There were also accusations of something like disorientation and maybe senility by the White House, which has since been shown to be unfounded.

Senator Charles Grassley has been on point on behalf of IG Walpin since the time of his firing, and Democrats have joined in as well. Grassley wanted Obama to follow proper procedure for firing an inspector general. The only procedure used was that the president said he had lost confidence in Walpin. That's not the way an IG should lose his/her job.

There is so much more to this story. It is full of corruption from the office of AmeriCorp right up to the White House. Johnson was accused of using AmeriCorps volunteers to drive him around, do personal errands...wash his car, etc. St. HOPE emails were intentionally deleted. If our political persuasion is Liberal, we can hush it by repaying in some way. 

In the end, Brown did not get his appointment, and he now sits on the Sacramento Superior Court. Kevin Johnson leads a magical life, one charity and several young girls left in the wake he makes, as he jets back and forth to see Rhee in Washington, D.C. An Inspector General who dared expose graft and corruption, especially with one of Obama's fondest volunteer organizations, AmeriCorps, is now out of the way. In the link second from the bottom below, you'll read how the White House directed another Inspector General to shred documents pertinent to Gerald Walpin's defense. Is this the White House you want? I didn't think so.

Acorn Brooklyn Cleared in Pimp Prostitute Undercover Tapes

A five-month investigation into a tape showing Brooklyn's ACORN office giving advice to a pimp and a prostitute has been cleared of any wrong doing. The tape shows ACORN employees providing information on how to smuggle 13-year-old foreign girls into the country, put them in a house of prostitution and avoid paying taxes on profits. The prosecutor, Brooklyn DA Charles Hynes, is a member of SEIU's Working Families Party and is closely tied to ACORN. Apparently, the investigation ended because the prosecution said the two people posing as the pimp and prostitute, Hannah Giles and James O'Keefe, edited their video - rendering it "unclear" what the ACORN workers said or did not say.

I'd like to see the unedited version, and I bet you would too. I'd also like to hear just where the stories don't quit gel. Do you think we'll hear where there was insufficient clarity was apparent.

Founding Bloggers makes the point that Hynes is a member of the Working Families Party, by virtue of a pledge he signed, and an endorsement he received. "You have to seek the endorsement and make a commitment to the party."

The whole thing stinks on ice.

In the Giles and O'Keefe undercover tape in a San Diego ACORN office, ACORN spokesman, David Lagstein allegedly told members of the East County Democrat Club that Attorney General Jerry Brown plans to find fault with the videographers (Giles and O'Keefe). Follow the link and hear the audio.

BigGovernment says California governer Jerry Brown will have a tough time going after Giles and O'Keefe for illegally taping the ACORN employees, as his aides "secretly recorded phone conversations with at least 5 reporters.

Baby Thrown on Brick Sidewalk by Mother (Video)

In the video taken in Australia, a woman said to be the baby's mother, throws the 10-month-old child to the sidewalk. The baby lands on its back with it's head hitting the ground.

It's the usual story. The woman claimed she was drunk and upset at her partner...so the only thing to do was sling her baby to a brick sidewalk. You'll see someone try to take the child from her. No clue who the person is, or what has happened, or will happen to the mother. Also, no word on injuries to the child.

Earl Bradley is Pediatric Pedophile? Pediatrician Earl Bradley is a rapist?

Warning: this is a vile story. Dr. Earl Bradley is a Delaware pediatrician charged with pedophilia.  He has been indicted by a grand jury and charged with multiple acts of child rape and abuse - in what may be the worst case of pedophilia in U.S. history.

Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden, the son of Vice President Joe Biden, says he expects more victims to come forward. Bradley, 46, is facing 471 separate counts of sexual assault and molestation. Over a ten year period, Bradley is believed to have raped and sexually exploited 102 girls and one boy since 1998 at the office of BayBees Pediatric in Lewes, Delaware, a community of 1300 persons.

The charges include first-degree and second-degree rape, unlawful sexual contact, sexual exploitation of a child and continuing sexual abuse of a child.

The indictment cites videos Bradley made of the various abusive incidents, which were seized from his office after investigators began looking into reports of child abuse last year.

Bradley allegedly videotaped sex acts while parents waiting in a separate room.

Among the 471-count indictment includes allegations that Bradley forced children to perform sex acts on him as recently as Dec. 13.

Some of the children were allegedly molested continuously over a series of days or months. One victim was allegedly raped by Bradley from June 2007 until February 2009, and another was molested "continuously" between November 2008 until November 2009.

 Biden said that some of the alleged victims were just months old.

The abuse of a 2-year-old girl started the investigation.

According to court documents obtained by ABCNews.com, the investigation was spurred after a 2-year-old girl told her mother that Bradley had touched her genitals and "hurt her" during a Dec. 7 appointment.

According to the child's mother, who is not named in the court documents, Bradley first examined the toddler in her presence, but then "removed the victim to the basement of the office, where a toy room is located."

The mother told authorities that she permitted her daughter to be alone with Bradley "because of his position as a doctor" and because she "trusted him."

But on the way home from the doctor the mother alleges that her daughter said Bradley had sexually abused her while they were alone in the basement. The girl's father, who had taken to her to a previous appointment with Bradley, also told authorities his daughter had made a similar complaint to him in November.

 In the small town of Lewes, with a citizenry of only 1,300, a videotape shows this 6 foot, 225-pound man yell, violently, at a two-year old, demanding the child to "perform sexual acts on him."

That particular video was described by the investigating officer in court documents as "one of the most violent and brutal attacks on a child of any age" that he had ever seen.

Biden's office is dealing with questions  as to why complaints dating from 2005 against Bradley were not taken to the State Board of Medical Practice.  An investigation is ongoing.

Earl Bradley is being held in the Vaughn Correctional Center on $2.9 million cash bond.
