Jim Inhofe Obama Amnesty Plan Video

In the video below, Senator Jim Inhofe gives a very detailed explanation of Obama's amnesty plan. He also released the following statements today:

As the Ranking Member of the Environment and Public Works Committee, I recently released a report titled “Failure of Leadership: President Obama and the Flawed Federal Response to the BP Disaster.”

This report concluded that President Obama did not provide adequate resources to the citizens located off the Gulf of Mexico in response to the BP disaster. In the report, I listed specific examples of the Obama Administration’s failure to act during the Gulf spill.

It is my continued hope that the residents close to the Gulf of Mexico start receiving adequate resources in order to rebuild from this disaster.

I am disappointed that the liberal majority in the United States Senate confirmed Elena Kagan to the Supreme Court.

As the first Senator to register my opposition to her nomination to this lifetime position, I remain alarmed with her lack of judicial experience as well as her continued disdain for our nation’s military, her views on civilian trials for terrorists, and her disregard for the second amendment.

After the earthquake that devastated Haiti last January, orphans who were already involved in the adoption process were permitted inside the United States on humanitarian parole while their American families finished the adoption process in the United States courts. Due to unnecessary bureaucratic red tape that the adoptive families of this group of orphans faced, I introduced the Help Haitian Adoptees Immediately to Integrate Act of 2010 (HELP Haiti Act) with U.S. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) and U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La.). With bipartisan support, this bill passed the U.S. Senate before Congress left for August recess. This legislation will provide much needed relief to these adoptive families as it authorizes the Secretary of Homeland Security to make a one-time adjustment of status to this set of Haitian orphans.

Recently, a public internal memo was released by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services officials which indicated that President Obama wants to grant amnesty to thousands of illegal immigrations. I find this immensely troubling, and will continue to oppose legislation that allows any form of amnesty to illegal immigrants.

Texas Birthright: 60,000 Babies Born to Illegals: 74% of Parkland Total Deliveries are Birthright Babies

Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas delivers more birthright babies than any other hospital in Texas. Last year at Parkland alone 11,071 children were born to illegal alien mothers. At least 60,000, maybe as many as 65,000 babies receive birthrights in Texas every year.

Republicans are discussing correcting the incorrect interpretations of the 14th Amendment which supposedly grants U.S. citizenship to anyone born on American soil. Democrat Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) is countering by accusing Republicans of attacking babies in the womb.  Ironic - Democrats believe an in-womb baby is nothing more than a fetus. The hypocrisy is rank. Hispanics vote for them anyway.

Republicans are accused of trying to shift the voting demographic. I believe that is true, and why not, but that is not the only impetus to stop the invasion of illegal alien mother's dropping their babies in America. The cost to the American people is intolerable and...of course, it is a matter of law. Yes, we ignored that law for a very long time, but that is no excuse for declaring it now.

Democrats and fine with keeping things as they are, because their only consideration is voters. Amnesty will bring millions to the polls voting for Democrats, who haven't given a thought to the Rule of Law in years, if ever:

 "The next 10 years will be an even more transformative decade demographically for Texas," said Dr. Roberto Calderon, an associate history professor at the University of North Texas and a Latin American expert following the debate.
He speculated that the Republicans probably were aware of this ongoing demographic shift and how it might threaten their party since Hispanic voters tend to support Democrats.
"Manipulating the status ... the rights and the opportunities for Latinos is the only avenue many on the conservative right see as a solution to remaining viable electorally," he said. "They're expecting what used to be safe Republican seats on the state and federal level will no longer be so safe."     

Most Americans welcome our South of the Border neighbors to citizenship, but we would really like for it to be done legally. We need you for more than the jobs you fill. We need you to preserve our Christian heritage - to have your babies in America because without you, our Muslim population will overtake our birthrate. It has already happened in most of Europe. We have maintained only due to the rapid Hispanic birth rate. In other words, we will be a Muslim nation without Hispanic births...but please, come legally and have your deserving children be a part of the American dream. How can the iconic Parkland Memorial Hospital, where President John F. Kennedy died, keep it's doors open with 74% of their births being illegal migrant mother's. Mexico Joins US Lawsuit Against Arizona Illegal Migrant Law: Arizona Goes to Human Rights Court?

Mexico sent a lawyer to an Arizona federal court and asked that the state's illegal immigrant law be declared unconstitutional. In the meantime, the Arizona law may find it's way to a Human Rights court.

Mexico says its interest in having consistent relations with the United States shouldn't be frustrated by one state.
Also unbelievable is word coming out of the U.S. Senate that Obama may be planning an Executive Order to bring mass amnesty to the country. See the letter of 8 Senators to Obama here.

Verum Serum  says there is also a plan underway to take the Arizona Law known as SB 1070 to the Organization of American States (OAS). The OAS is the same group that denounced unseating then-Honduran president, Manuel Zelaya, who worked diligently to trash the country's Constitution and Supreme Court. The OAS stood solidly behind Zelaya, a Hugo Chavez wannabe.
So not only will Eric Holder and the Justice Department be challenging SB 1070 in federal court, but the law may also be challenged in an international court (IACHR) with the participation of a group of elected officials from Arizona. 
The IACHR is the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, based in Costa Rica, and allied with the OAS.

Asking if States have any degree of sovereignty under this administration and the Department of Justice is not an unreasonable question.

Nogales, Arizona police are being sniped at by Mexican drug cartels and we have shut down in excess of 80 miles of National Forest in the state because it is too dangerous for the U.S. taxpayer to venture into, even though we fund it.

This administration will obliterate any semblance of state's rights unless we do something. A good example of what's to come is Obama's complete disrespect for the people of Arizona, when Jan Brewer, the state's governor pleaded for help for her beleaguered state. For weeks he didn't return a call, or an email, or a fax. Then he agreed to meet her at the White House. At the meeting's end, he promised a response in two weeks. On the last day of the two weeks, Brewer heard via a foreign television interview with Hillary Clinton that the DOJ was suing the state. To this day, no one in the regime has contacted Brewer personally. 

Not only are we under siege by Mexican drug cartels, rapists, murderers, pedophiles and human traffickers, we are under siege by our own President, and all the Presidents men (and women).

Senators Challenge Obama on 'Deeming' Illegal Aliens Citizens: Executive Order for Mass Amnesty?

Eight senators are asking Obama if he has plans to 'deem' illegal aliens citizens through an Executive Order for mass amnesty.

Here is the text of the letter signed by Sens. Grassley, Hatch (R-Utah), Vitter (R-La.), Bunning (R-Ky.), Chambliss (R-Ga.), Isakson (R-Ga.), Inhofe (R-Okla.), and Cochran (R-Miss.).
Dear President Obama:
We understand that there’s a push for your Administration to develop a plan to unilaterally extend either deferred action or parole to millions of illegal aliens in the United States. We understand that the Administration may include aliens who have willfully overstayed their visas or filed for benefits knowing that they will not be eligible for a status for years to come. We understand that deferred action and parole are discretionary actions reserved for individual cases that present unusual, emergent or humanitarian circumstances. Deferred action and parole were not intended to be used to confer a status or offer protection to large groups of illegal aliens, even if the agency claims that they look at each case on a “case-by-case” basis.
While we agree our immigration laws need to be fixed, we are deeply concerned about the potential expansion of deferred action or parole for a large illegal alien population. While deferred action and parole are Executive Branch authorities, they should not be used to circumvent Congress’ constitutional authority to legislate immigration policy, particularly as it relates to the illegal population in the United States.
The Administration would be wise to abandon any plans for deferred action or parole for the illegal population. Such a move would further erode the American public’s confidence in the federal government and its commitment to securing the borders and enforcing the laws already on the books.
We would appreciate receiving a commitment that the Administration has no plans to use either authority to change the current position of a large group of illegal aliens already in the United States, and ask that you respond to us about this matter as soon as possible.

Nancy Pelosi Catholic Bishops: Pelosi tells Bishops to Preach Amnesty as a Manifestation of the Gospel

Nancy Pelosi wants to secure our borders, enforce our laws, protect our workers, and our honor families by passing amnesty for millions of illegal aliens, while ignoring our laws, voting against building the border fence and refusing to protect our borders. Ironic, huh?

To accomplish this, she supplied Catholic Bishops with The Word, and directed them to tell parishioners, from the pulpit, that amnesty is a "manifestation of the Gospel.

Lindsey Graham Censured by Republican Party: Lindsey Graham Compromised?

Lindsey Graham is taking a verbal beating this week. After years of head-scratching defections to liberalism, all-the-while claiming he will put his conservatism up against anyone, then skittering away to another secret meeting of the Gang of 14 or the Gang of 10, America is getting a bit nervous about the South Carolinia Senator. His own state Republican party has censured him at least twice in recent months. See an excellent video below.

Today, Sen. Graham (R-SC) is working with Democrats on a Cap and Tax Bill and an Amnesty Bill. Now that's enough to drive a voter crazy. You vote for the man, and turns traitor and pretty much laughs in your face. The Party has censured him twice, and Cap and Trade and Immigration were specifically mentioned. He is accused of failing to abide by the principles of the South Carolina GOP platform and showing "contempt and belligerence" toward fellow Republicans.

In November 2009, he was censured for a long list of misconduct: his support of TARP, his support of Immigration, his support of Cap and Trade alongside of John Kerry - which the resolution says will be a job killer in the state of South Carolina, and for joining the Gangs of 14 and 10, for weakening the "Republican brand and tarnishing the ideals of freedom, rule of law, and fiscal conservatism."

Graham is not up for reelection until 2012. That's a good thing for Graham. This week, the president of ALIPAC (Americans for Legal Immigration PAC) spoke in Greenville, South Carolina and said Lindsey Graham is compromised because he is gay. In otherwords, perhaps, Graham is doing the bidding of Democrats in key areas because he is threatened - 'join us or we will out you.'

I have no idea if this is true or not, on any level, and I do not care that he is a gay man, if he is, but his stark left turns do more than raise eyebrows, and especially when being conservative on every level is the mission of the day. If he can be compromised because of a "secret" he wishes to keep, then he needs to leave the Senate - now.

Amnesty International Gita Sahgal: AI Suspends Sahgal for Admitting AI Support for Jihadist: Self-Defense Jihad Okay

Amnesty International reprimanded and suspended Gita Sahgal, Amnesty International's "gender unit" director for admitting that support of Moazzam Begg is support for the Taliban. Lashing back at Sahgal supporters who have a petitition going on her behalf, AI actually issued a letter in defense of 'self-defense-jihad.' This what it's like in Britain these days friends - unabashed support for global terrorism.

Former Gitmo detainee Moazzam Begg is a committed jihadist and unabashed supporter of the Taliban. (See this Weekly Standard essay by Tom Joscelyn, which collects other Begg links.) In the fashion of CAIR — a creation of the Muslim Brotherhood formed to support its causes, such as Hamas, in the camouflage of a "civil rights" organization — Begg shrewdly realized he could win fawning admirers and allies on the Left by posing as a human rights activist. So he formed a group in Britain, Cageprisoners, which claims to be a civil rights organization whle promoting the Islamist agenda — and aligning with such other anti-American jihadist terrorists as would-be Christmas bomber Umar Abdulmutallab and Anwar al-Awlaki (an imam to some of the 9/11 hijackers and an inspiration to both Abdulmutallab and Fort Hood mass-murderer Nidal Hasan).
Moazzam Begg is a British/Pakistani Muslim. He was held at Gitmo for almost three years. Begg admits to spending time at two Islamic militant training camps in Afghanistan, but he doesn't expect us to think that he is a terrorist or supports terrorism. President Bush released Begg from Guantanamo Bay over objections from the Pentagon, FBI and CIA.

Gitmo detainees have been collecting unopened containers of food and beverages to give to victims of Haiti's earthquake, according to a lawyer for one of the detainees. 
Lawyer Allison Lefrak told Time Magazine's Swampland blog what her client, detainee Ravil Mingazov, told her about the detainees' efforts. 
"What our client was telling us is it seems so wasteful for all this food to be thrown away and with the Haiti relief mission next door it was common sense to ask to give it to them," Lefrak told me in a phone call today. Apparently, even unopened food and beverages are discarded. So far the camp guards have not been facilitating the donations, so they're starting to pile up, she added. 
Can you imagine the outcry if the U.S. Military cut the food supply at Gitmo by a tenth and sent it to Haiti? And how do these donations make it to the Haitian people, of whom the majority are infidels?

Amnesty International is far-Left and dangerous and now it is confirmed that they view jihad as simple self-defense.

Lindsay Graham Chuck Schumer Want Biometric Cards with Fingerprints for All Workers

Last week I reported on Senator Lindsay Graham's legislation to bring illegal amnesty to 10 million illegal aliens in the U.S. Today, we hear a significant part of that plan is to issue each of us an I.D. card embedded with our finger prints and other personal information. The idea behind doing the equivalent of tatooing our foreheads with a government mark, is that employers will no longer hire illegals. How long do we think it will take for these cards to be falsified, hijacked, sold underground? Graham. I'm outraged. I bet you are too.

Lawmakers working to craft a new comprehensive immigration bill have settled on a way to prevent employers from hiring illegal immigrants: a national biometric identification card all American workers would eventually be required to obtain.

Under the potentially controversial plan still taking shape in the Senate, all legal U.S. workers, including citizens and immigrants, would be issued an ID card with embedded information, such as fingerprints, to tie the card to the worker.

The ID card plan is one of several steps advocates of an immigration overhaul are taking to address concerns that have defeated similar bills in the past.

The uphill effort to pass a bill is being led by Sens. Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) and Lindsey Graham (R., S.C.), who plan to meet with President Barack Obama as soon as this week to update him on their work. An administration official said the White House had no position on the biometric card.

"It's the nub of solving the immigration dilemma politically speaking," Mr. Schumer said in an interview. The card, he said, would directly answer concerns that after legislation is signed, another wave of illegal immigrants would arrive. "If you say they can't get a job when they come here, you'll stop it."

The biggest objections to the biometric cards may come from privacy advocates, who fear they would become de facto national ID cards that enable the government to track citizens.

"It is fundamentally a massive invasion of people's privacy," said Chris Calabrese, legislative counsel for the American Civil Liberties Union. "We're not only talking about fingerprinting every American, treating ordinary Americans like criminals in order to work. We're also talking about a card that would quickly spread from work to voting to travel to pretty much every aspect of American life that requires identification.

Amnesty Next - DAMN Rule of Law - Lindsay Graham OnBoard: Heritage Foundation Cost of Illegals

The deplorably consistent, seldom conservative, Senator Lindsay Graham is back on the amnesty bandwagon. Senators Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Graham (R-SC) have been drafting legislation for the president for months, and yesterday they trekked to the White House to get the latest marching orders. No matter the legislation penned, we have Congress damning the Rule of Law, and perhaps Tea Parties will take this up next. See the cost of illegal aliens in the U.S. from the Heritage Foundation, $89.1 billion ANNUALLY (below), and weep for our country.

The president had some thoughts about what "a path toward citizenship for 10.8 million people" already in the U.S. illegally, should look like:
The basis of a bill would include a path toward citizenship for the 10.8 million people living in the U.S. illegally. Citizenship would not be granted lightly, the White House said. Undocumented workers would need to register, pay taxes and pay a penalty for violating the law. Failure to comply might result in deportation.
For laughable starters, consider the "failure to comply MIGHT result in deportation." Just a small indication of the lack of will for serious reform.


The good news is Schumer says Graham is the only Republican support he has found, and he needs a second Republican as co-sponsor for the legislation illegal legislation. 


Remember when Senator Tom Coburn entered an amendment to uphold the enforcement of EXISTING immigation laws?  Nineteen Republicans voted AGAINST respecting the Rule of Law. The amendment language was simple and straight-forward.
To require the enforcement of existing border security and immigrations laws and Congressional approval before amnesty can be granted.
Senator John McCain didn't show up for that vote. Senator Graham voted against it. At the same time, Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) introduced the following amendment:
"...permanently bar from the U.S. and from receiving any immigation benefit: suspected terrorists, gang members, sex offenders, felony drunk drivers, and other individuals who are a danger to society.
Cornyn's amendment was defeated with the help of 10 Republicans voting against enforcing the Rule of Law.


The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has a program known as Operation Predator, which hunts child predators across the U.S. In a document dated January 25, 2008, this statistic jumps out: 85% of the arrests made as part of Operation Predator have been arrests of non-citizen sex offenders...."


Think of the impact enforcing the Rule of Law would have had on the lives of thousands of children and families. In their first four years, ICE arrested 10,700 child predators. That means 9,095 of those children were the victims of illegal aliens. 


Our children remain victims of both illegal immigrant predators and well as the the financial burdens to families who must pay the cost of illegals. From The Heritage Foundation:
Of all adult high school dropouts, legal and illegal, in America:
 49% are illegals, 
25% are legal immigrants and 
9% are native-born Americans.  
The U.S. Government, funded by U.S. citizens, pays out an average of $30,160.00 per legal and illegal household with heads-of-households lacking a high school diploma. The $30,160.00-average paid represents social security benefits and Medicare, police, public safety, transportation, administrative support, public education and other means-tested aid.
"Means-tested aid came to $10,428 per household, while direct benefits (mainly Social Security and Medicare) amounted to $4,891. Education spending on behalf of these households averaged $8,462 per household, while spending on police, fire, and public safety came to $2,746 per household. Transportation added another $809, and administrative support services cost $1,195. Miscellaneous population-based services added a final $1,529."
Okay, you are saying...but these people pay taxes, yeah, but only about $10,500.00:
In return for handing-out $30,000.00+ per legal and illegal household, we receive from such households, a payment average of $10,573.00 in taxes. These paid-in taxes include federal highway taxes, unemployment insurance and workers compensation taxes, federal excise taxes and customs duties, state individual income tax, STATE LOTTERY PURCHASES (an average of $714.00 per household!), corporate income tax, state and local property taxes, federal individual income taxes, state and local sales and comsumption taxes and FICA "contributions." View this in Chart 3 of The Heritage Foundation Report.
 In addition to the $30,000+ hand-out from American citizens, it is estimated there are 1.6 workers per legal and illegal, unskilled household, each averaging $18,490 in earnings. This is an average of $29,584.00 annually in earnings, plus the $30,000+ courtesy of citizens. View this in Table 2 of The Heritage Foundation report.
Of course, there's always a bottom-line and, in this case, it is the deficit in dollars incurred to you and me. For each household, we say adios to an average of $19,588.00. View this in Chart 5 of The Heritage Foundation report. 
The "net lifetime cost," according to the Heritage Foundation is this:
"Receiving, on average, $19,588 more in immediate benefits than they pay in taxes each year, low-skill immi­grant households impose substantial long-term costs on the U.S. taxpayer. 
Assuming an average 60-year adult life span for heads of household,[24] the aver­age lifetime costs to the taxpayer will be nearly $1.2 million for each low-skill household, net of any taxes paid.[25] This calculation assumes that a low-skill immigrant comes to the U.S. in his mid-twenties with a spouse and that both remain in the U.S. for an average of 60 years. 
Even if low-skill immigrants return home rather than remain in the U.S. permanently, thereby reducing costs, this argument merely underscores how costly low-skill immigrants are to the U.S. taxpayer. The less time these immigrants spend in the U.S., the lower the cost to the taxpayer. 
Moreover, most current immigration reform proposals [2007] would grant legal status to illegal immigrants, increasing their access to welfare and Social Security. These proposals would substantially increase the time that these immigrants remain in the U.S."

$19,588.00 x 4.54 MILLION such households is a total of $89.1 billion - $89.1 billion we give away, annually, to non-citizen, and knowing-lawbreakers. In addition:





"Over the next ten years, the net cost (benefits minus taxes) to the taxpayer of all low-skill immigrant households will approach one trillion dollars."

The Heritage Foundation, in Chart 7, shows that each and every age bracket RECEIVES far more than it PAYS IN, but as the households age, the deficit increases.
"There are currently 8 million non-elderly adult immigrants in low-skill immigrant households.[26] Assuming nor­mal mortality rates, perhaps 7 million of these individuals will live to age 67.[27] After reaching age 67, the normal life expectancy would be approximately 18 years. With an average net cost of roughly $270,000 over 18 years, the net future retirement costs of the 7 million low-skill immi­grants would be around $1.9 trillion."
"...low-skill households are net tax consumers even during their working years. It is important to note, these families are rarely idle; they consistently work and pay taxes. However, the taxes they pay are seldom, if ever, sufficient to cover the cost of the government benefits they receive. 
In consequence, these households must be continually subsidized by other taxpayers. Low-skill immigrants are among these problematic households. On average, they are a net fiscal burden throughout their working years, and after retirement they become an even greater tax burden. 
Politicians should be wary of any policy that will increase the future number of net tax consumers. Immigration policy, in particular, should be focused on increasing the number of positive taxpayers and reducing the future number of tax consumers."
According to the Heritage Foundation, the idea that illegals "contribute to the solvency of Social Security" is untrue. With all government benefits, these households "ten dollars in total government benefits for each dollar they pay in Social Security taxes."


Of the current push for legislation before the distraction of mid-term elections, Senator Jeff Sessions (R-Ala) said the things he hears "from the administration won't be well received," and the above from the Heritage Foundation should be a clear reminder of why American should strongly reject the idea of amnesty for illegals, no matter how the legislation is written. 


Another battleground for conservatives. If amnesty is next, than the Rule of Law in this country is deader than dead.

Chappaquiddick Joke on Ted Kennedy

If this is true, the joke is really on Ted Kennedy. He may be lionized today, but surely those hearing the "Chappaquiddick" jokes, had to wonder what kind of a sick joke Ted Kennedy was.

As he has been memorialized today, it is obvious that he was beloved by his family, that he stepped up for all the nieces and nephews who were fatherless, that his own children loved him dearly, and that he knew how to get done what he wanted to get done in the halls of the U.S. Senate.

What I remember about Ted Kennedy is the Kennedy-McCain Amnesty Bill - one of the most devastating Bills to ever hit Capitol Hill. I won't forgive Kennedy or McCain for that one. I won't forget what he did to Judge Robert Bork. It was cruel and contemptible and it all lies. For those who want to see as his pompous tirade about the Judge as merely political rhetoric, your political world is much different than mine. I didn't know much about Robert Bork at the time, as most Americans didn't, but Kennedy's comments were uncalled for and only a black heart could stand in the Senate and rip a good man in this way:

Robert Bork’s America is a land in which women would be forced into back-alley abortions, blacks would sit at segregated lunch counters, rogue police could break down citizens’ doors in midnight raids, schoolchildren could not be taught about evolution, writers and artists could be censored at the whim of the Government, and the doors of the Federal courts would be shut on the fingers of millions of citizens for whom the judiciary is — and is often the only — protector of the individual rights that are the heart of our democracy… President Reagan is still our president. But he should not be able to reach out from the muck of Irangate, reach into the muck of Watergate and impose his reactionary vision of the Constitution on the Supreme Court and the next generation of Americans. No justice would be better than this injustice.
This was not acceptable for the U.S. Senate, and he should have been excoriated by his peers, but he he was not - it's just politics. And may we all be reminded that Ted Kennedy wanted no part of windmills or oil rigs off his Hyannis Port shoreline, but he didn't mind if they were in your backyard.

I have no way to know whether Ted Kennedy had real remorse for the death of Mary Jo Kopechne, but I feel he did. Who would not, but you can read what some of the locals had to say, as well as some astonishing, odd and unusual details of what really happened here. Ted Kennedy's real legacy is proof that we should make it unlawful to be a career Senator or U.S. Representative.
