George Stephanopoulos interviewed Bill O'Reilly. Several interesting things in this. The interview begins with health care. O'Reilly says the President's bill will cost far more than the Democrats claim of $1 trillion - instead it will be between $2 trillion and $6 trillion. See the video below.

Stephanopoulos says you sound more and more like Ross Perot. You are representing the angry people in the middle.

Sarah Palin - they play a clip of Jeb Bush saying she needs to take the personal charisma and add some principles of the complexity of the way we live today. O'Reilly said Palin needs to go to political college, and she is doing so, she has hired the people to bring her up to speed.

O'Reilly says, hey, you don't think Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid are genuises? They're afraid to come on my show. They're not genuises.

George Stephanopoulos' wife stripped off a bit, climbed on a desk and did a little shimmy.  "I shaved my legs and made you a steak!" Hilarious! She is one gutsy woman.

George's wife is Alexandra Wentworth. Her mother was Nancy Reagan's social secretary in the White House and her father a reporter for The Washington Post. She is an actress and comedienne. She appeared in Jerry Maguire and played Jerry Steinfeld's girlfriend, Sheila, in the Soup Nazi episode.

Carly Fiorina Barbara Boxer: Carly Fiorina Chuck DeVore: How conservative is Carly Fiorina?

Carly Fiorina, the former CEO of Hewlett-Packard, announced today she will run in the California primary against Assemblyman Chuck DeVore, to face Senator Barbara Boxer in the 2010 senatorial race. The question is: how conservative is Carly Fiorina? See two videos below.

If Fiorina (R-CA) wins the primary against conservative Assemblyman Chuck DeVore in June, she will make history if she unseats Boxer.

Both women are controversial. An online news source, Mercury News, describes them:

...Boxer has stood out with a scrappy — some say abrasive — political style. Although her defenders say the senator has a warm, grandmotherly side that's often overlooked, the reality is that her poll numbers rarely have topped 50 percent since she joined the Senate 17 years ago.

Fiorina's outsized persona and aggressive management moves at HP likewise have drawn admirers and critics. She carries a commanding stage presence, holding forth in public appearances and media interviews in a manner that suggests a keen analytical mind. 

"Clearly Barbara Boxer is a very energetic and aggressive campaigner, but she hasn't had to face anyone who matches her intensity on the stump," said Republican strategist Adam Mendelsohn. "Having someone who matches her in that arena could prove to be a lot more challenging."

Both women are wealthy. Boxer (69) is estimated to have a net worth of between $1.2 and $5.3 million in 2008. Carly Fiorina's (55) net worth is alluding me somewhere on the web, but  in 2005 she received a $21 million severance from Hewlett Packard, plus "at least $200,000 a year compensation" not included in the severance package. In the 2008 presidential election, Carly Fiorina was an economic advisor to John McCain. Her career has spanned from secretarial and receptionist jobs, including a temporary employee at Hewlett-Packard, to Boards of Directors and CEO positions. Fiorina was the first woman to lead a Fortune 20 company, and the first woman to head a Dow 30 company. Assemblyman Chuck Devore made headlines as a principled conservative in February. He resigned his position as Chief Republican Whip in opposition to "a massive tax increase deal brokered by Republican legislative leaders."

The St. Valentine's Day deal to raise taxes on hardworking Californians will neither close the budget deficit nor control spending. I believe leadership thinks they are doing the right thing - but I cannot be a party to this agreement as I believe it will harm California."

In the second, Senator Barbara Boxer, the arrogant elitist instructs Brigadier General Michael Walsh to call her "Senator." It appears California conservatives may actually have two committed conservatives to chose from, Chuck DeVore and Carly Fiorina. How conservative is Carly Fiorina? The President's Chief of Staff, Rahm Emanuel, rendevous' with the most Liberal of Liberal pundits - every morning, and these four have hooked-up nearly every morning for 17 years. The Gang of Four are all employed by MSNBC, ABC or Barack Obama. James Carville - MSNBC, Paul Begala - MSNBC and George Stephanopoulus - ABC. That's a conference call coming out of, or into, the highest level of the White House...to or from the media - every morning! And Obama whines about Limbaugh! A Politico article describes what each of these pundits bring to the conversation each morning, and the characterizations first indicate that each man has his own strengths and areas of expertise. Carville's wife, Republican strategist Mary Matalin, says it's like listening to "girl talk." Right. Al Hunt, Bloomberg's Washington Bureau Chief says he talks to Carville almost daily, and of the 17-year conference call, he says:

there's rarely more than one degree of separation between them," - no matter any subject in the news. There is no parallel, he said, to a group of friends who has remained so central to the daily shaping of Washington conversation as these Clinton-era comrades.

Begala hints at the truth:

Still, the line between journalism and politics is not always bright. Begala said he often can’t remember the originator of any particular insight: “We talk so much — was this my idea that James changed, or was this George’s observation that Rahm tweaked?”

I guess it would be wrong of me to assume that Carville, Begala, Stephanopoulos et al might hold back critical information gleemed from their insider, Rahm Emanuel - like something damaging to the President, or dangerous to the Nation, - something like Iran BEING nuclear, sooner rather than later? I guess it would be wrong of me to assume that Rahm Emanuel might provide highly sensitive information to these three bastions of Liberal verbosity, information or hints that deserve no spin when they do come out - something like Iran BEING nuclear? I guess it would be wrong of me to assume that the Gang of Four controls the news at MSNBC and ABC?
