This video is a May 22, 2010 panel discussion at University of Denver, with Dennis Prager, Sarah Palin and Hugh Hewitt. Prager begins the discussion on "what is the greatest threat to America." His answer will surprise you. After Hugh Hewitt speaks with his adroit and short opinion, listen as Prager lays out the current "moment of darkness in American history." What a great panel of patriots. The short version of the video is second below. It mainly highlights Dennis Prager.
No one ever said Sweden, Norway or Denmark are the last best hope of mankind. At about 14 minutes in, listen as Prager speaks about the United Nations and woman's rights.

Another one of those phone exposés where the party on one end thinks they have terminated a phone call, but fails to break the connection. In this case, CBS KTVA in Anchorage is recorded trying to link Joe Miller, the Republican candidate for U.S. Senate to a sex offender(s) who might be in Miller's political rally audience tonight. Sarah Palin, discussing the revelation on Fox News Sunday today said, without a pause, Alaska reporters are "corrupt bastards." See the Palin video below.
TRANSCRIPT:
MALE REPORTER: OH Yeah...Can you repeat Joe Miller's...uh...list of people, campaign workers, which one's the molester? [inaudible]
FEMALE VOICE: We know that out of all the people that will show up tonight, at least one of them will be a registered sex offender. [laughter]
MALE REPORTER: You have to find that one person... [inaudible]
FEMALE REPORTER: And the one thing we can do is ....we won't know....we won't know but if there is any sort of chaos whatsoever we can put out a twitter/facebook alert: saying what the... 'Hey Joe Miller punched at rally."
FEMALE REPORTER: Kinda like Rand Paul...I like that. [laughter]
FEMALE REPORTER: That's a good one. After the Fox News report hit, KTVA General Manager issued a statement saying:
"While the recording is real, the allegations are untrue.
"The perception that this garbled, out of context recording may leave is unfortunate, but to allege that our staff was discussing or planning to create or fabricate stories regarding candidate Miller is absurd. The complete conversation was about what others might be able to do to cause disruption within the Miller campaign, not what KTVA could do."Well...gosh, CBS was so concerned about Miller, the Republican, they were concerned about what "others might be able to do." Most benevolent, don't you think. It is always someone else's fault.

Sarah Palin, "The" Mama Grizzly, said Senator Lisa Murkowski dishonored herself by attacking Republican candidate for Lisa's senate seat, Joe Miller's military record. Actually Palin said she had "never seen a candidate stoop so low," as Murkowski did in Monday night's debate. See the video below.
But perhaps the most shocking part of all in this debate was when the incumbent Senator used Joe Miller’s distinguished military service as a means to attack him. Joe Miller graduated from West Point, fought in Desert Storm, and was awarded the Bronze Star for his service to our country. I find it astonishing that a sitting U.S. Senator from Alaska would challenge the honor of a decorated combat veteran. Thanks to Murkowski, the incumbent who lost in the primaries, but nevertheless is running as a write-in candidate, Miller is facing a three-way race. Another Republican (Murkowski) setting a Constitutional-Congress up for failure. She is only barely Republican, as demonstrated by GovTrack:
I’ve seen some pretty ugly campaigning, and what they’re throwing at Joe right now is nasty. Joe’s opponents can’t run on the issues because they’re wrong on them – whether it’s repealing and de-funding Obamacare, fighting against cap-and-tax, protecting our borders, or pushing hard for responsible resource development. They can’t win in a fair fight on the issues, so they sling mud...
The sitting Senator also came out against Arizona’s right to protect its borders. She called for us to “enforce the laws that are currently on the books,” but didn’t seem to understand that that is precisely what Arizona is trying to do to protect itself because the federal government refuses to enforce our laws. Perhaps we shouldn’t be surprised by her lackadaisical attitude to border security when we consider that she has repeatedly voted against funding a border fence and voted in favor of amnesty. Here's the attack on Joe Miller, and listen as Murkowski says Miller "is not fit to lead."

Sarah Palin has endorsed Christine O'Donnell for the Senate in Delaware. Sitting Republican Congressman Mike Castle is trying to move up to the Senate and occupy the seat left behind when Joe Biden move up to the Veep office. Castle is a Republican-in-Name Only (a RINO) and scores so far Left on the Gov Track meter that we have to ask, how much Republican does this man have in? Not much. Castle voted for the DISCLOSE Act and the failed cap-and-trade. Sarah's endorsement came on Sean Hannity's program today.
They knock on the door at all hours of the night. They’re hiding in the bushes when I’m at candidate forums. In 2008 they broke into my home. They vandalized my home. They wrote nasty notes on my front door, on my front porch. They jeopardized my safety. They did the same thing to our campaign office. They broke into our campaign office. They vandalized our campaign office. They stole files. My campaign signs that had my picture—they put a spear in my mouth poked out my eyes, and cut out the part of my heart, and wrote nasty names all over those campaign signs. There has a small war between conservative bloggers about Christine O'Donnell's candidacy. With very little momentum in her campaign, some are asking why voters would want to risk losing a Republican, even it is Mike Castle, by voting for O'Donnell, giving way to a Democrat win. Recently, The Other McCain had a lot to say about it (and has supported Christine from day one) reminding us that she is pro-life and Castle is not. I will remind, once more, that Castle voted for the despicable DISCLOSE Act and the Obama failed cap-and-trade. Having said that, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie endorsed Castle. Read The Other McCain on O'Donnell and be sure to browse through the archives.

Palin-endorsed Republican Joe Miller running against sitting Senator from Alaska, Lisa Murkowski, says the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) may be meddling in the results of the primary held Tuesday, August 25th. Votes are still being counted, and Murkowski called on the NRSC to come to her aid - which the NRSC explains is simply "dispatching" their general counsel "to guide the state through the process of counting absentee ballots." Hilariously, Alaska Party Republicans supporting Murkowski are holding on to the hope that the absentee ballots were cast BEFORE the last Tea Party gathering. Not only are Democrats fearing Tea Party candidates, establishment Republicans are trembling in their wingtips too.
Miller criticized not just the NRSC, but also the RNC. Asked why he ran as a Republican and not an independent, he said his problem was not with the party's platform.
"But the leadership of the party has fled so far from that platform -- it's not even funny. This is an accountability issue," he said. "I am for the platform. What I see in the leadership of the RNC, what I see across this country is basically an embracing of big government, entitlement spending and basically getting as far away from the platform on every fiscal and social issue that you can -- you can believe."Lisa Murkowski is a "moderate" Republican and any Republican (with about three exceptions) is better than none, but perhaps we have the opportunity for a more constitutional conservative. The Democrat opponent is Scott McAdams, and so far, there is no Alaskan fire burning under his campaign. So here we go into another recount, between two Republicans and once again, the NRSC is in the middle of a race between a conservative and a moderate. I'm hoping the NRSC will maintain some degree of integrity and do what they say they are doing: assuring a fair recount.

Unless votes appear from an unknown source, Joe Miller, a Sarah Palin-endorsed Republican for Lisa Murkowski's seat in the U.S. Senate has won the Republican primary. Listening to Larry Sabato right now on Fox saying all the uncounted votes are not enough to send Murkowski back to Washington, D.C. Ninety-eight percent of the votes have been counted, according to Sabato. A win for Miller has not been officially announced, so my disclaimer is this: if Miller does not win, he came perilously close for Murkowski.
9 hours ago: Keeping fingers crossed, powder dry, prayers upward...Press and pundits have gleefully said Sarah is losing her clout, even in her own State. Murkowski was expected to win the Primary with a double-digit win.

Paris Lewis, a convert to Islam, is known today as Malik Zulu Shabazz. In the video interview below with a Russian-English language news channel, Shabazz says his New Black Panther Party (NBPP) is "ready to rumble," and will meet Glenn Beck at the "Washington monument." According to Shabazz, the NBPP is ready for "rightwingers," and he names some, but leaves Sarah Palin out of his list of "rumblees." Apparently, they want no part of Mama Grizzly, Sarah Palin who will be appearing at Beck's Restoring Honor.
[Beck] ...we have not only the permit, the space of the Lincoln Memorial, we have the space — we have taken the mall and asked for the space from the Lincoln Memorial all the way to the capitol building. We have the entire mall reserved for that day. Not because we're expecting that whole place to be filled but because we wanted to make sure counterprotests and everything else, we want this to be a peaceful event.
There is only one sliver of the mall that we don't have. It was reserved by the White House and it is like a quarter of the space behind the Washington Memorial. So we wanted to make it a safe space, we wanted to make it a peaceful space, we wanted to do justice to the space. It is a sacred space to me as well, and anybody who thinks that we're going to desecrate the image of Lincoln, Washington, or even MLK, I invite you to come and bring your family because you will be amazed. You will be amazed at how uplifting this will be.So where is the press? We're talking about a sacred and Constitutional right to go to the polls uninhibited. Where is the press?
"a non-political event that pays tribute to America's service personnel and other upstanding citizens who embody our nation's founding principles of integrity truth and honor."August 28th is the 47th anniversary of Martin Luther King, Jr's I Have a Dream speech at the Lincoln monument. Lewis/Shabazz says his group will meet Beck on "the 27th." They'll have to camp out because the rally begins on the 28th - or maybe they plan to catch Beck without the masses, overseeing the setup the day before???

O'Reilly asks Sarah Palin if she had a "big beef" with the President's speech tonight. Her answer: "I kinda have a big beef with you too, Bill if you don't acknowledge that Obama is wrong on his call for a need for energy policy. Obama won't humble himself, so Sarah Palin did it for him in the eyes of the world. Suggesting that a U.S. President needs a little humility is something we haven't had to think about since Monica's blue dress. But Obama announced today that he will stoop to personally talking to BP CEO Tony Hayward (it took two black eyes from the public, for him to make that decision - I don't humility was a part of the strategy).
And, you know, I've offered the greatest oil and gas team in the world assembled, I believe, because they're up there in Alaska helping to produce nearly 20 percent of the U.S. domestic supply of energy. But not just with the oil spill, but with the economy and with our military and how it is that we should be treating our allies, not poking them in the eye. From Fox News:
HANNITY: You know, I think there's a lot of issues here. Look, there's a lot going on in the world now. I think the president is coming off, I think, one of the worst periods in his presidency. And I think the polls are beginning to indicate that.
Obviously the Sestak and Romanoff case have had an impact. The economy, no jobs are really being created except in government. Obviously, the response or lack thereof to the oil spill is having an impact.
What do you — and the president seems to be getting angry when he's talking about kicking — I won't use his term. What do you make of where the president is right now politically?
PALIN: Throw in there, too, decreased consumer confidence, too. And then we even haven't talked about national security issues either. But I think what the president is realizing is that his lack of executive experience is coming into play right now.
I know that he mocked and chided others who did have experience in the campaign and he acted like being a community organizer was all that it was going to take. What the president needs to do is really humble himself and I say it with all due respect because I so respect the office of the presidency. But to humble yourself and call those around you who — on a nonpartisan basis, please call those around you who can give you the best advice and provide some answers to get us out of some of the problems that we're facing right now, not just with the oil spill.
All those things. He needs to call in those around him and kind of broaden his inner circle of confidants because right now it sounds like the inner circle that he has are some Chicago thugs. And that's not doing our country much good.
So calling in more people to advice him, and humbly accepting that advice and making the right decision from henceforth.

Alia Sabur is a certified genius and at 18 years old broke a 300-year-old record to be the youngest-ever college professor. She has an idea for plugging the damn hole (the damn oil spill), and since I'm not a genius, I can't judge whether it will work or not...but it sounds reasonable.
The tires might not be able to fully inflate inside the pipe, but the resulting seal would be able to stem the flow of oil and redirect it into a new pipe, she said. A valve in the pipe could be closed to block the oil or open to allow it to flow, presumably to a ship on the surface.Alia Sabur is finishing her Doctorate in engineering in Philadelphia at Drexel University. Sabur said what makes her idea different is her solution is designed to go inside the pipe, rather than over it or around it. Sabur began reading novels at the age of 2 and by age 11 she was playing clarinet with the Rockland Symphony Orchestra.

After a couple of weeks of serious threats against Republicans, in the wake of the passage of health care, the New York Times has compared the Tea Party movement with the violent 1960's-70's group, the Weathermen. The paper upped the disgust quotient by using a photo of Barack Obama's domestic terrorist friend, Bill Ayers (second from right with white shirt, dark jacket and glasses), during the Weathermen's Days of Rage.
The SEIU member used a racial slur against Kenneth, then punched him in the face. Kenneth fell to the ground. Another SEIU member yelled racial epithets at Kenneth as he kicked him in the head and back. Kenneth was also brutally attacked by one other male SEIU member and an unidentified woman. The three men were clearly SEIU members, as they were wearing T-shirts with the SEIU logo.Remember Sarah Palin telling Tea Partiers in at a Nevada rally: "It is not time to retreat. It's time reload,"and she immediately explained that her words were not a call for violence, but telling people that their "arms"[weapons] are their votes.

Colonel Allen B. West (R-FL) is running for a seat in the People's House from Florida's 22nd district which includes Palm Beach. West has announced that he has received the endorsement of former Governor Sarah Palin. See a video below.
FrontPage Magazine’s Man of the Year has shown true courage, compassion and heroism in the face of battle – and unlike the worthies named above, he has suffered for his good deeds rather than received commendation. He has been on the frontlines of the War on Terror in the heart of the Iraqi resistance. He undertook extraordinary measures to safeguard the lives of his men, to protect Americans under attack by bloodthirsty Islamist gangleaders. Yet instead of reward he has been tested by fire, having been dishonored by the very military he served so effectively for the last 20 years of his life. This irresponsible punishing of someone who should be awarded for his bravery and patriotism endangers the American people. For that reason, we seek to honor Col. Allen B. West.
Colonel West earned the disdain of leftist intellectuals and the rebuke of the United States armed forces for protecting the lives of his troops. West commanded the 4th Infantry Division, 2nd Battalion, 20th Field Artillery Regiment, near Tikrit. In the days following the toppling of Saddam’s regime and preceding the dictator’s capture in a filthy desert hole, West was responsible for the lives and safety of 700 men and women who had spent a cautious summer sweltering in the crosshairs of Sunni Triangle terrorists. As we near the elections, we are certain to hear the Left attack Col. West for protecting his own men in Iraq. What happened to the Colonel is unthinkable, yet it happened. This is the real story:
In late August, Colonel West received news that his men had been targeted by a group of thugs associated with an Iraqi policeman named Yahya Jhodri Hamoodi. Allied forces quickly apprehended Hamoodi in Saba al Boor, a tiny town near Tikrit. Four interrogation specialists worked late into the evening of August 20, desperately trying to pry the attack plans out of him. Growing frustrated, the interrogators resorted to physical force, punching Hamoodi – without success. (Hamoodi was not seriously injured at any point during the interrogation.) It was then that Col. Allen West intervened.
Seeing that even physical violence had proven ineffective, Colonel West took the next logical step: He took the intransigent suspect outside, shoved Hamoodi’s head into a sandbox and threatened to kill him. The Colonel then pulled out his sidearm and fired a warning shot into the sky. Then West carefully held Hamoodi’s head aside as he fired a shot over Hamoodi’s shoulder, into the warm Iraqi sand burying his visage.
That near-scrape with death did the trick. Hamoodi began singing, telling West the identities of two men planning the attacks and revealing their attack plans, including the site of the intended ambush. The two men were arrested, and Colonel West ordered his men away from the site as they continued to serve the liberated Iraqi people. Upon turning Hamoodi over, he admitted his unorthodox tactics. For protecting the 700 soldiers in his care and cracking Hamoodi where professional interrogators had failed, Colonel West was immediately stripped of his command and threatened with jail time.
In October, the armed forces offered Colonel West an ultimatum: resign the military and lose his pension and benefits, or face trial for violating standard interrogation procedure. If convicted, West could have received up to eight years in jail – for saving his men’s lives. On the other hand, West, who had just qualified to retire with 20 years service, needed his benefits to care for his wife, Angela, a cancer victim.
West chose to make his case to his military colleagues. Publicly choking back tears, West acknowledged his actions in interrogating Hamoodi; he merely denied that what he had done was criminal, knowing his troops had been targeted for extermination in the midst of a war. His great heart showed during his trial, as he said, "If it's about the lives of my men and their safety, I'd go through Hell with a gasoline can . . . There is not a person in this room I would not sacrifice my life for."
On December 11, West escaped court martial. Major General Raymond Odierno ordered West to pay a $5,000 fine and allowed him to retire as a Lieutenant Colonel. The ordeal caused by his desire to save his troops a violent death in a desert land had finally ended. He was free to return to Ft. Hood, Texas, to his wife Angela, with his reputation essentially cleared.I hope you will read the FrontPageMag article linked above. There is much about the Colonel that we need to know as the election nears.
