Bill Clinton could only fill one-third of the gym at a rally at Renaissance High School for Virg Bernero and other Democrat candidates. Bernero is hoping to become Michigan's next Democrat governor, and Clinton's appearance at the free and open event was expected to draw big.
Shortly before Clinton took the stage, the Rev. Wendell Anthony, president of the Detroit branch of the NAACP, urged attendees to leave bleacher seats along one side of the gym and try to fill the area in front of the podium before Clinton began his address.
Nevertheless, the Wayne County commissioner said "Clinton is a rock star in Detroit."
Let's face it, the Comeback Kid can't make a comeback unless Hillary is President - even in a blue, blue state like Michigan.
I wonder how many in the one-third full gym were high schools students who are not legal to vote?

A 31-year-old Grand Rapids, Michigan woman advertised for a Christian roommate, on her church bulletin board, and is charged with civil rights violations. She faces "several hundreds of dollars in fine and "fair housing training." Odd, though... the unnamed person who filed the complaint says he saw the ad on a church bulletin board.
Christians Seeking Christians
The complaint's name is blacked out in the Michigan Department of Civil Rights document, but does show that Fair Housing Center of West Michigan v (the first name of the offending woman is given here). Find the link here at ToddStarnes.
Tell me, when are we Americans going to put a stop to this? How many Muslims would live with a Christian? Not many, if any.
“This is outrageous,” said attorney Joel Oster, with the Alliance Defense Fund.His organization is representing the woman free of charge. “Clearly this woman as a right to pick and choose who she wants to live with.”
Oster said he’s sent a letter to the state asking them to dismiss the case as groundless...“The First Amendment guarantees us Freedom of Religion,” he said. “And we have the right to live with someone of the same faith. The Michigan Department of Civil Rights is denying her rights by pursuing this complaint.”
Christians shouldn’t live in fear of being punished by the government for being Christians,” he said. “It is completely absurd to try to penalize a single Christian woman for privately seeking a Christian roommate at church–an obviously legal and constitutionally protected activity,”
The civil rights attorney said she is going ahead with this case and plans to pursue it.
Here's two questions: what if the ad goes out with no mention of Christianity. A Muslim responds. Is it a civil rights violation if the Muslim asks if the ad owner is Christian? Or...if a Christian answers an ad for roommate and is turned down because he/she is not Muslim, would the Muslim be looking at civil rights charges against them?
So, there must have been something offensive in the ad, right?
It included the words, “Christian roommate wanted” along with her contact information. Had the ad not included the word “Christian,’ she said it would not have been illegal.
I am becoming fearful of my own country. We are losing our freedom day by day and minute by minute. Really, we must do something about so-called Civil Rights in this country, and we MUST NOT forget that we must do something.

A Michigan federal judge has ruled that Congress can make us buy his health insurance. Because we "pay" for the insurance, the judge says that action is "plainly economic."
Obama's Department of Justice argued that if the Commerce Clause does not allow the mandate, then the mandate is simply a tax, levied through the legal powers of Congress. Attorney Rob Muise of the Thomas More Center said the decision will be appealed.
“The trouble, if you think about it, is if Congress has authority to regulate nonactivity then it has the ability to regulate anything,” Muise said. Congress can “tell you to exercise three times a week, to take certain vitamins, to refrain from eating certain foods because, at some point, costs are going to be incurred to the health care market. I find that very troubling when we have a federal government that’s supposed to be of limited, enumerated powers,” he said.
This is just one lawsuit, in just one state. It is far from over, but it deserves worrying about every step on the way to repeal.
The Underpants bomber was aboard Northwest Flight 253 from Amsterdam to Detroit, the day before Christmas. Ten days later Flight 243 also from Amsterdam to Detroit brought four scary, and rudely disruptive Saudis, all with the last name, all students at the University of Akron, plus one more Saudi man that didn't get suspicious until the flight had descended to 500 feet above ground. The five men went through security and were cleared in Saudi Arabia. They mimicked the Underpants bomber's behavior aboard this flight. Finally via the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) there is information about the men - who dropped from the press like a hot rock - likely because you and I have no need to know, and afterall, we wouldn't want to upset Arab communities. Detroit Metro Airport
The Dearborn Underground has a revealing report posted, taken directly from the Transportation Security Administration. First, a few points. These men were released by authorities only a short time after the flight landed. There were four Federal Air Marshalls on the flight. They were unconcerned about the fidgeting men, and one Marshall spent an hour in the cockpit with the Captain in an effort to convince him there was no threat. Presumably after the Captain "agreed" with the Marshall, the Flight Attendants were not convinced, and neither was the pilot as the reports of odd behavior kept rolling in.
The suspicious activity began shortly after takeoff. Passengers and crews endured these men for the entire flight. In the end, the Captain asked for emergency landing privileges, and received permission. On landing at Detroit Metro, the plane was taken a distance from the main airport area, checked and then sent on to the terminal, where the flight was met by authorities. The FBI was absent.
At "1300 hours," fighters were placed on battle stations at Toledo, but did not take off.
The Federal Air Marshall team leader said he was shocked when he learned of the Captain's request for security assistance on landing. The Marshall thought he had changed the Captain's mind.
Suffice it to say, when a Captain fully expects his flight to blow-up on descent, the Captain was not comforted by the Air Marshall. We know that if the Captain makes it safely to the ground, so do the passengers, and this Captain made the decision to err on the safer side. Three thumbs up for this Captain.
The FOIA documents say the four men with the same last name were scattered around the cabin. The fifth man, who has not been identified to be with the other four was sitting away from the other four.
The four men engaged in the behavior we have heard about on so many flights: they were up and down, back and forth to the restrooms, ignored seatbelt warnings, covered their heads completely with blankets, as did Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab. Their hands were covered and they "fiddled" with something, as did the Underpants bomber. Some of the men also put a coat over their lap, and "fiddled" actively under the coat - enough that the Flight Attendants could easily see that their hands were busy doing something. The video below says Air Marshalls reported that the men spoke "inappropriately."
At one point, a Flight Attendant removed the coat from the passenger and put it in the overhead. With the seatbelt sign on, the passenger got up and retrieved his jacket.
Some went back and forth to the lavatory, at times staying a long length of time, and sometimes not long enough to use the facility.
The fifth Saudi waited until the last minute, when the flight was just 500 feet off the ground, then threw off his seat belt and "ran" to the lavatory...and then right back again - as a Flight Attendant and a Marshall tried to retrieve him after being buckled-up and ready for landing.
To demonstrate the quandary:
Earlier, some FAs passed it off as “college kids acting ‘goofy.’” Then one of them recounts how her mind was changed as the flight was making its final approach to Detroit and the cabin was supposed to be secured for landing:
“...one passenger 42D or 32H got up to go to the bathroom. Passengers [in adjacent other seats] had a coat across their laps and were fiddling with something under their (sic) coat.“
At this time we considered this to be a credible threat and landing the airplane quickly with everyones (sic) help became a higher priority. Preparing for a bomb blast was a higher priority.”
Dearborn Underground has transcripts of pertinent parts of the report along with commentary. The point is that these jokers were quickly released to go on their merry way. The fifth passenger, running down the aisle of the plane at an altitude of 500 feet, wasn't even questioned, let alone detained.
We know that not a single one of us would take part in any of these behaviors - mimicking the Underpants bomber. We know there are things we cannot say or do in public places these days, so where is the disapproval of doing a copycat of Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab?
Perhaps this was a dry run, so knowing that is a possibility, and having no way to rule-out the possibility, why are these men's names not on a no-fly list? How about sending a strong, public message to Arab men that Americans are sick of this, and authorities will no longer tolerate the behavior. How about issuing an ultimatum: Try this again, and Marshall's will detain you, cuff you and lock you in a seat until landing is achieved. When you hit the airport you will be heavily, heavily fined and put on the no-fly list for a year. Let's do it.
Five Saudi Males - Suspicious Behavior NW Flt. 243 (video)
Elias Abuelazam, also known as Elias Abullazam, has been arrested and is believed to be a Palestinian Arab, perhaps previously residing in Israel...after first being reported to be White...and then Jewish. It is possible he is a Palestinian Christian..., and then again, maybe not. While he has not been charged, he is believed to be a serial killer of Blacks, suspected of some 20 stabbings. Antwoine Marshall, the first victim, identified an FBI photo in the early morning hours today. Five of the 20 did not survive. Police believe the attacks are racially motivated, and it is important to note that law enforcement authorities have not formally charged Elias Abuelazam/Abullazam.
Elias Abuelazam
Haaretz reports that Abuelazam is an Israeli citizen, formerly living in Ramle, Israel. The report says that he was living legally in the U.S. with a green card, and recently visited Israel for the wedding of a sister. Note that Haaretz says nothing about Abuelazam being Christian.
One Ramle resident said Abuelazam left Israel at age 19 or 20 after finishing high school.
Another resident said Abuelazam was orphaned by his father at a young age.
The resident added that Abuelazam was allegedly involved with criminals and had a violent streak, which led his mother to send him abroad.
However, other neighbors who studied with Abuelazam in high school said he avoided violence, despite his physical build. They added, however, that Abuelazam seemed to have undergone significant changes during his recent visit to Israel.
A., a former neighbor and classmate, said Abuelazam was pleasant during the time they studied together, but that lately he would picks fights with "anyone who looked him in the eye."
He added when Abuelazam got angry, it took three people to restrain him.
"In recent years he experienced something that changed him entirely. He started using drugs, so his family sent him abroad."
Other rumors in Ramle alleged that Abuelazam engaged in relationships with older women in the U.S. who then supported him financially.
Elias Abuelazam married American Jessica Hirth in mid-2004. They were married for three years and divorced in 2007. His former mother-in-law, Kimberly Hirth said Abuelazam "was just the sweetest guy." At the time of the marriage, he worked at the Piedmont Behavioral Health Center (now Northridge Behaviorial Healthcare). Jessica Hirth has remarried and is now Jessica Nimitz. Abuelazam has a sister living in Leesburg, Virginia.
The attacker has consistently been described as a tall, muscular white man who often wears a baseball cap. He often gets close to victims by asking for directions or for help with his car; other times he says nothing at all while he approaches his targets from behind. All of the victims were alone when they were attacked.
Abuelazam, 33, was arrested at the Atlanta airport as he tried to board a Delta Flight 152 to Tel Aviv, Israel. He left a wake of victims in Michigan, Virginia, and Ohio. The first stabbing victim survived the attack and was visited by the FBI this morning, shown a photo of Elias Abuelazam and was able to identify him as his attacker. In this report, posted at 2:23 PM CDT, he is still identified as an Israeli.
The attacks began surfacing in late spring, and picked up the pace as the stabber traversed the country.
Police have said they usually follow a pattern: The suspect approaches black men late at night on lonely urban roads and asks for directions or help with a broken-down car. Then, without warning, he pulls out a knife and strikes. Then, he speeds away in his vehicle, leaving them for dead.
The brazen nature and the frequency of the attacks -- the assailant has struck an average of about once every four days since the first stabbing in May -- has terrified some of those in cities he's already targeted.
The youngest victim was 17; the oldest was 60. They ranged in size from 5-foot-4 inches and 120 pounds to 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds.
Sixteen stabbings of the 20 attacks happened in Flint, Michigan, where Abuelazam worked in a convenience store. He was stopped for a traffic violation in Arlington, Virginia last week. He was "wanted on a simple assault warrant in Leesburg," Virginia but was released on his own recognizance. He has a string of mishaps with the law, including an arrest in December 2007 for felony gun possession. Those charges were dropped in 2008.
Once a Green Chevy Blazer became the focus of the hunt, Abuelazam's time as a free man and a killer shortened considerably.
Abuelazam asked his first known victim, Antwoine Marshall, to help him with his green SUV. He was stabbed twice as he opened the hood of the car. The stabbing cut three of his organs. He has a long scar from his chest to his pelvic area.
On August 3rd a Leesburg, Virginia teenager was stabbed in the back while jogging. A few days later a 67-year-old man in the same area was stabbed while sitting on the steps of his apartment. On August 6th Abuelazam again asked a man to help fix his green SUV. He hit the helper in the head with a hammer. That attack was recorded by a nearby security camera.
A Flint, Michigan neighbor said she noticed the green Chevy Blazer in the driveway of a house, but did not call the police because he was "a dark Middle Eastern man," and descriptions always said the man wanted was White.
Other than the articles linked herein, there is not a lot of confirmation about who Elias Abuelazam is, if he indeed lived in Israel as an Arab citizen, and certainly little confirming that he is Christian. Updates coming as available.
Katherine Herridge is on Fox reporting a possible second terrorist attack planned on Christmas Day to coincide with Underpants Bomber, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab attack, which barely failed. An unnamed official said "[We] were aware of something for Christmas and didn't ring the bell...didn't warn the airlines, didn't warn everyone that, "hey, we were made aware of this so just tighten up. And look what happened. Obama is quoted saying we had information on Abdulmutallab's attack but "our intelligence community failed" to "connect the dots." Look how our government failed our soldiers at Ft. Hood. The trail to terrorism was hot and everyone had the actual messages from Nidal Hasan to Anwar al-Alwalki before he committed jihad. What's wrong with this miserable, irresponsible government?

An explosive devise was to be moved from East Africa to London to New York to be used perhaps in a restaurant or other busy venue bombing. The devise would have been assembled in New York City.
Someone named "Mohammed" is involved. Ya, sure! Fox News says "intelligence from overseas three weeks earlier indicating that a plot targeting New York City on the same day may have been in the works, according to an FBI report obtained by Fox News."
The final target of the attack was not known, but extremist members had allegedly discussed restaurants and night clubs located in New York City," the FBI's assistant legal attache in London wrote in a threat report dated Dec. 4, 2009. "The extremists allegedly discussed conducting the attack on 25 December, to coincide with the Christmas holiday."
The report, sent to U.S. and British counterterrorism officials, warned that "extremists allegedly planned to conduct a test run" that evening, hiding components for an improvised explosive device in a shipment of khat, a plant often chewed like tobacco that has become a tradition for many in East Africa and the Arabian Peninsula.
The FBI is warning these reports might be a "coincidence," and not to draw conclusions. "Hundreds" of threat reports come in for the month of December each year - 83,000 to the FBI each year. Obama said "The U.S. government had sufficient information to have uncovered this plot and potentially disrupt the Christmas Day attack. But our intelligence community failed to connect those dots."
These four videos from Gigi Gaston - We Will Not Be Silenced - may be the most important you view before the November 2010 election, and especially if you are a liberty-loving Democrat in a caucus precinct. Gaston, a life-long Democrat was challenged by a friend to come to Texas and look into voter fraud by Obama operatives, with the help of the Democrat party, during the November 2008 presidential elections. Gaston thought she could document that the claims were untrue, instead she found they were true around the country.

The first video is about names illegally taken for the caucus votes.
The second video shows the process of caucusing, which requires you vote before attending a caucus. Many, many Obama voters either had not voted that day, had not signed up to vote, but still were counted in the vote. Illegal delegates began at the precinct level, then moved to the Senate district level, and on to the State level. Bottom line, many Obama delegates were illegal.
Dr. Hayes estimates ten percent of Obama caucuses were not legal in three Senate Districts around Houston. This alone accounts for most of the disparity between the primary and the caucuses.
Also, rampant voter fraud in Indiana. Gary, Indiana school children were sent to the polls in Crown Point with instructions to vote for Obama? I don't how that worked - how old were these kids? School children were bussed on a school day, told who to vote for, had their lunch bought for them, and gave them the remainder of the school day off.
A report possibly from Michigan: of the 2118 delegates, 670 delegates come from caucuses. A quote from one women in the video: Why do you think Obama wanted a caucus in Michigan? Because you can cheat at causes.

Elena Herrada, an activist for Fronteras Nortenas, refers to the Detroit Sector Border Patrol as the KKK and advises the community to treat them as such when they see them in restaurants and elsewhere around the neighborhood. "Refuse to sit with them, refuse to eat with them," she says. Herrada is the "Director of the Oral History" project of Fronteras Nortenas (Northern Border).
Dearborn, Michigan Christians hand-out copies of the Gospel of John to Muslims as they leave a festival - outside the festival grounds. The Muslims take the copies...they are not forced to take the handouts. Three minutes later police descend, and I mean descend, confiscate a camera, take a cameraman in custody. Three are arrested. Later they're told they can hand-out the Gospel if they move five blocks away. No doubt the streets of Dearborn are owned by the Arab Muslim population, in fact Dearborn Michigan is the Muslim capital of the U.S. See a video below
Dearborn, Michigan Mosque and Islamic Center
Of the 97,700+ population, 32,000 are Arab Muslims. The Mosque above is the largest in the U.S...for now. Lebanese make up the largest number of the Muslim population, and Dearborn is widely known as Hezbollah City.
"You can't back down. You can't chicken out. You can't be afraid. You've got to have faith in Allah, and you've got to stand up and be a real Muslim," Keith Ellison, the first Muslim elected to the United States Congress, instructed a cheering crowd of Muslims last month in Dearborn.
The crowd roared in return,"Allah akbar, Allah akbar, " -- God is great.
"Allaha akbar" were the last words heard on the cockpit voice recorder of Flight 93, just before Muslims murdered all its passengers by crashing the jetliner into the ground.
According to the U.S. Veteran Dispatch in 2006, the Muslim population of Dearborn was almost 40,000, somewhat higher than quoted above.
"I hope you are paying attention America, because something isn't right here."
Two amazing videos I'll point you to from Obama's commencement speech at the University of Michigan. In the first, he quotes deceased Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan saying: "Everyone is entitled to his own opinions, but not his own facts. Nevermind that he also said this week that he measures the progress of our economy by "a different pulse," or as my hubby says, "his own secret recipe."

Then he calls for the citizenry to be better informed by seeking "hard evidence" rather than "assertions," yet he gauges our economy by "a different pulse." And to cap it off, he suggests reading the Wall Street Journal AND The Huffington Post for the "hard evidence." View that video here.
In the second video, Obama tells the graduating students that GOVERNMENT provides "life saving research," and "tantalizing economic growth," ( I think he said "tantalizing)."Leaves me speechless. We the People provide life saving research, not the government. And our economic growth is certainly not tantalizing.
Then listen as he talks about the dangers of too little government, and cites the example of the "lack of accountability on Wall Street, which nearly led to the collapse of our entire economy." Oddly, he doesn't mention Barney, or Chris or Freddie or Fannie - government all, which had everything to do with this country's financial meltdown. View the video here.
One thing Obama voters sadly didn't think about, was the damage this man could do when given a microphone, a teleprompter, a biased media, and a few retiring Supreme Court Justices.
There is a wealth of information coming from the Hutaree arrests, including info on weapons of mass destruction.
The Department of Justice indictment claims the members planned to kill an unidentified member of local law enforcement and then attack the law enforcement officers who gather in Michigan for the funeral.
According to the plan, the Hutaree would attack law enforcement vehicles during the funeral procession with Improvised Explosive Devices [IED] with Explosively Formed Projectiles, which, according to the indictment, constitute weapons of mass destruction.
Apparently President Bush will be exonerated for not finding WMD in Iraq...a country to this day still flush with IEDs.
Listen, this is coming from our Department of Justice. So which is it? Is an IED a WMD...or not. Or are WMD redefined when Americans are charged? I mean, I just sayin'...WHICH IS IT?
David Stone, the alleged leader of Hutaree has escaped the FBI and is said to be on the run. He and his family, as well as others have been charged with Seditious Conspiracy. Correction: David Brian Stone is in custody. Joshua Stone is currently a fugitive. Update: 3-31-10 below.

The most striking thing I am noticing this morning is that the "Islam" angle has completely evaporated. I'll have continuous updates here. Also odd, Hutaree is apparently believed to plotted to kill police, then attend the funeral and kill the mourners. Yesterday, reports were that one of the members was arrested at a funeral for another Hutaree member who died of natural causes. Coincidence?

All of the above are said be a part of Hutaree.
"...the Hutaree, conspired to oppose by force the authority of the U.S. government. According to the indictment, Hutaree members view local, state, and federal law enforcement as the "brotherhood," their enemy, and have been preparing to engage them in armed conflict."
...Because the Hutaree had planned a covert reconnaissance operation for April which had the potential of placing an unsuspecting member of the public at risk, the safety of the public and of the law enforcement community demanded intervention at this time."
Sealed warrants. Raids. Searches. A small army of helicopters swarming. Neighbors shocked to find that it is Janet Napolitano's lucky day because those right-wing Christians are misbehaving, just as she said they would. Allegedly, the arrests are of members of a group known as Hutaree, are a part of something known as the Colonial Christian Republic, and are described as a Christian militia. But there is far more to this story. The Council on Islamic Relations (CAIR) has made a statement, and a woman "on the run" has left a message of intrigue - complete with the FBI hijacking the website of another militia. See Update 3-29-10 below.
Hutaree - Christian Soldiers
While warrants are sealed and the names of the arrested are unknown, someone knows something because "a network journalist" called CAIR executive director, Dawud Walid -- while he attended a banquet and the "network journalist" knew enough to make the Muslims in the banquet hall "gasp" when Walid told the crowd of "alleged threat against Muslims." I'll make a prediction that someone from a Michigan mosque went to the FBI. Am I jaded? Probably. Maybe not.
But remember, you and I know next to nothing - but the "network" journalist knows enough to call CAIR.
The raids by the FBI-led Joint Terrorism Task Force and Homeland Security, were a part of an investigation in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana, with arrests made in Adrian, Michigan, and others in Ohio and Illinois.
Detroit News says the group describes themselves as "Christian soldiers preparing for the arrival and battle with the anti-Christ." And the story is, Hutaree (meaning Christian soldier) made a threat, or threats against some Islamic organization.
Reports make it obvious that authorities prepared to battle these "Christian soldiers."
WXYZ-TV reports that helicopters were spotted in the sky for much of Saturday night, and agents set up checkpoints through the area. Witnesses told the station that it was like a small army had descended on the area.
There are official Michigan militias: Michiganmilitia.com and The Southeast Michigan Volunteer Militia. Neither of these groups were a part of the raid. A spokesman for Michiganmilitia.com, Mike Lackomar, said he was told by "other militia members" that the:
"FBI targeted the Hutaree after it's members made threats of violence against Islamic organizations.
One of the Hutaree members called a Michigan militia leader for assistance Saturday after federal agents had already began their raid, Lackomar said, but the militia member -- who is of Islamic decent and had heard about the threats -- declined to offer help. That Michigan militia leader is now working with federal officials to provide information on the Hutaree member for the investigation, Lackomar said Sunday.
"They are more of a survivalist group and in an emergency they withdraw and stand their ground. They are actively training to be alongside Jesus," he said.
The Michigan Messenger is reporting a Hutaree member (Anna) whose home was raided by the FBI is on the run with her child. She allegedly placed a message on a message board:
The Federal Authorities have raided not only our group but also the Michigan Militia. They had hijacked their website and placed word there that they were not raided.
We need some help please. This has to stop. I am enroute south with my children using the wifi's as I can.
They were catching others as they came to their rallying points, they broke into homes and took children and used the tasers on wives, my son who is 12 and I got out by crawling through the creeks behind our house.
My husband and others are taken, please call the press and tell them, if any in the Michigan Militia is still free please rally with them. Please help.
Well, yeah, I bet there is a lot of enthusiasm for "rallying" with a Michigan militia group.
The Hutatree website shows the photo above, and a video on the homepage shows members running through the woods, shooting from behind a dilapidated auto...etc. On their 'About Us' page, it begins with this statement:

The website has a little bit of rock and roll on a webpage identified as Poker Face's Patriot Rock, and if you watch the video, the song begins with "I'm not a Democrat or Republican." Under a sources link, as few interesting ones are WorldNetDaily, Financial Times, Asia Time, Jack Van Impe Ministries, The European Union Army, and others. A page titled Misc. Links shows The Patriot Broadcasting Network (Liberty Tree Radio), and militias in Michigan, Ohio and Idaho. There is an open forum link. The website has John 15:13 displayed at the top: "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."
The Cherry Capital Airport in Traverse City, Michigan is investigating United Express Flight 6036 on the runway with a California man locked in the bathroom. He says he has an explosive device. Passengers have safely deplaned. The United Express flight arrived from Chicago. Bomb-sniffing dogs are being brought to the site. The airport was shutdown but has reopened. Update - another report says the passenger has been arrested. At 3:44 p.m., the passenger is still being interviewed but NOT yet arrested.
FOXNews is reporting this minute that no bomb was found. The man's name has not been released.
Traverse City Police Capt. Steve Morgan says the passenger went into
the bathroom "carrying an article" and left the bathroom without it on
United Airlines Flight 6036 from Chicago Friday.
He says flight crew also reported a panel in the bathroom had been
disturbed. Morgan says authorities came to the airport and detained the
passenger.

President Barack Obama apparently received a "high-level" briefing three days before Christmas, with information taken from a report by US intelligence agencies issuing a warning about a "holiday period" attack. Update: Another thought is former
CIA, Michael Schueur's warning that an event, just like this one, may
be used to "clog" the intelligence pipeline. See links to that discussion below.
An administration "senior" official speaking anonymously said Yemen was not mentioned in the report, and then declined to disclose the substance of the briefing!!!
According to the senior official, the holiday threat briefing, one in a
series of regularly-scheduled sessions with top counter-terrorism
officials, was held in the White House Situation Room on December 22.
Present were representatives of agencies involved in counter-terrorism
policy and operations, including Attorney General Eric Holder, Homeland
Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and FBI Director Robert Mueller.
The CIA and National Intelligence Directors Office were represented by
deputy agency heads: CIA deputy director Steven Kappes, and David
Gompert, the principal deputy to National Intelligence Czar Dennis
Blair. Also present was Michael Leiter, director of the National
Counter-terrorism Center, a unit of the Intelligence Czar's office
which was created after 9/11 to ensure that intelligence reporting
about possible terrorist plots was shared quickly among all US agencies
who might have some capability to do something about it.

The "senior" official said in early December there was information on a possible holiday-period attack originating from Pakistan. He reiterated that there was no intelligence implicating an attack from Yemen, but...
...a US intelligence official, who also asked
for anonymity, explained: "As everybody knows, terrorists often speak
in coded language, especially when they think their communications
might be intercepted. There was no clear discussion of an attack, on
Christmas or any other time, in the Middle East or anywhere else. But
as veiled as the message was, it was spotted, processed, analyzed, and
presented to senior policymakers as a warning sign-however vague-of a
holiday attack. While this was handled properly, there were, to put it
mildly, virtually no details at all. That happens."
The solution is simple. Profile in addition to whatever intelligence agencies are doing behind the scenes. Then, do not lie to the citizenry! You have asked us to watch, to be alert. Then you try to discredit our information without a thorough investigation. The Christmas Day attack is surrounded by lies from the government.
After denying the account of other NW 253 passengers - three to be exact, after deplaning, that a second man's carry-on baggage had a hit by a bomb-and-or-drug-sniffing dog, and then that passenger was taken away in handcuffs, today authorities have admitted it happened - a second man was detained - although they offer no explanation.
We have a witness, pre-boarding Flt. 253, saying an Indian man accompanied the bomber at the flight desk and tried to get the bomber, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, on the flight with no passport - yet the Dutch says he had a valid Nigerian passport. Dutch authorities say they have reviewed the video at the flight desk, but will not release it, and will not reveal what the video showed. The passenger who overheard the conversation between the desk attendant and the Indian man, asks why the video is not being released? As he points out, if the video showed he is lying, and there was no Indian man with the bomber, Abdulmutallab, the video would be viral by now.
We, the inconsequential citizens out here, need to be relentless about the circumstances surrounding Abdulmutallab's bomb attempt. It is likely he did not work alone, and had assistance other than al-Qaeda in Yemen. It is clearly possible that al-Qaeda assisted him at the flight gate. Kurt Haskell and his wife were passengers on Northwest Flight 253 on Christmas Day. Kurt Haskell has a few stories to tell. The FBI is interested in Kurt and his stories, but their stories and Haskell's stories do not jive. Video below.

According to Haskell, while waiting to board Northwest Flight 253, Kurt Haskell saw Abdulmutallab and a "smart dressed" Indian man at the flight desk. Haskell heard the "smart dressed" Indian man tell the person behind the desk that Abdulmutallab was a Sudanese refugee, had no passport and needed to get on the flight." The desk attendant sent the two down the hall to a Manager's office. Haskell says the "smart dressed" man told the desk attendant "we do it all the time." That was the last Haskell saw of Abdulmutallab until the attempted bombing happened and the bomber was taken off of the aircraft.
After landing:
According to Haskell, everyone aboard 253 were detained with their carry-on luggage in an "evacuated luggage claim" area in the airport. Officials with bomb sniffing dogs arrived. The dogs hit on a bag belonging to a "30-ish Indian man." This Indian man was not the same man Haskell saw with the bomber inside the airport. Haskell calls this man "the man in orange." The man in orange was taken to another room by authorities. He was not handcuffed going into the room. He was handcuffed when he came out of the room.
Authorities then told the group they were being moved to another part of the terminal because "this area is not safe." Haskell said the entire time the passengers were detained (some 6 hours) no one but law enforcement was allowed into their area.
Here's the rest of the story:
After Kurt Haskell, an attorney in Michigan, told his story online about the bomber and the "smart dressed man" before boarding the plane, and the story of "the man in orange" being handcuffed and led away after deplaning, authorities refused to admit a second man was detained until about December 28th when FBI officials said "the man in orange," was simply a legitimate but "sick" businessman, and they deny [or have ignored] the story about the drug-sniffing dogs and the man taken away in handcuffs. At this time, the Dutch officials declare that Abdulmutallab had a valid Nigerian passport, despite the conversation Haskell says he overheard.
The FBI has, since we
landed, insisted that only one man was arrested for the airliner attack
(contradicting my account). However, several of my fellow passengers
have come over the past few days, backed up my claim, and put pressure
on FBI/Customs to tell the truth. Early today, I heard from two
different reporters that a federal agency (FBI or Customs) was now
admitting that another man has been held (and will be held
indefinitely) since our flight landed for "immigration reasons." Notice
that this man was "being held" and not "arrested", which was a cute
semantic ploy by the FBI to stretch the truth and not lie.
Just a question, could that mean that the man in orange had no passport?
However, a few hours later, Customs changed its story again. This
time, Mr. Ron Smith of Customs, says the man that was detained "had
been taken into custody, but today tells the news the person was a
passenger on a different flight."
Delta spokeswoman Susan Elliott has said a man was "verbally
disruptive" which caused flight crew to request law enforcement meet
the aircraft upon landing.
However the FBI later released a
statement saying the man was not a threat to the flight and was merely
ill. "The investigation shows that this was a non-serious incident and
all is clear," the bureau said.
Haskell is asking the Dutch police to release the video of the "sharp dressed man," which they admit they have viewed.
Please note that there is a very easy way to verify the veracity of
my prior "sharp dressed man" account. Dutch police have admitted that
they have reviewed the video of the "sharp dressed man" that I
referenced.
Note that it has not been released anywhere, You see, if my
eye witness account is false, it could easily be proven by releasing
the video. However, the proof of my eyewitness account would also be
verified if I am telling the truth and I am.
There is a reason we have
only heard of the video and not seen it. dutch authorities, "RELEASE
THE VIDEO!"

A incredible statement coming from Michigan Democrat Congressman Bart Stupak, who says he is being pressured by the Democrat leadership in the House and the White House, to keep quiet about the "abortion language in the Senate version of the health care bill. See video below.

get a chance to try to sell me the language,” Stupak told CNSNews.com

on Tuesday. “Well, I don’t need anyone to sell me the language. I can
read it. I’ve seen it. I’ve worked with it. I know what it says. I
don’t need to have a conference with the White House. I have the
legislation in front of me here.”
The Congressman objects to taxpayer abortion funding now included in the Senate bill's language. He offered his own House amendment to forbid such funding, which was quickly shredded in the Senate. You and I will fund abortions whether we like it or not. We will fund them even as our lying House and Senate tell us we will not. According to Stupak:
“A review of the Senate language indicates a dramatic shift in federal
policy that would allow the federal government to subsidize insurance
policies with abortion coverage,” he said.
The twist in the legislation is that the feds will "subsidize insurance policies with abortion coverage," which the criminals in the 111th insists does not provide taxpayer funding of murdering babies.
Stupak says when it gets down to the actual vote, and current law prohibiting the funding of abortion is not upheld:
"There’s 10 or 12 of us, and they only passed the bill by 3 votes, so
they’re going to be short 8 to 9, maybe 6 to 8 votes. So they
[Democrats] do not have the votes to pass it in the House.”
If Bernie Sanders, the socialist Senator from Vermont, could weasel $10 billion out of the criminal 111th, then the sky is the limit for Stupak, a Senator from the blighted state of Michigan.
Sarah Palin has "gone rogue" again and told Sean Hannity that the Fort Hood shooter and murderer, Nidal Hasan should have been profiled by the Military. Palin will arrive in Fort Hood for her book signing on December 4th. She is donating her book royalties to the victims of the attack on the Texas Military base. See video below.

By the way, in Grand Rapids, Michigan about 1,500 people turned out at the Barnes and Noble today for the Palin Book Tour. "Scores more" couldn't get a wristband, awaited Palin's arrival outside, braving the cold and yelling. "USA!" and 'Sarah, Sarah!"

Barack Obama has asked Congress not to investigate Nidal Hasan, the Fort Hood killer. Citing the possibility of turning the Fort Hood assassinations into "political theatre" and "political stagecraft," he wants the results of his own investigation, before Congress steps-in. Rep. Pete Hoekstra has exposed the lack of forthcoming requested information from the White House. It will be interesting to see if Hoekstra's House investigation is shut-down by ranking Democrats.
To think that the President will not head the oversight once the intelligence is all in, is to be naive. We trusted the FBI and the Military to separate the terrorists from patriots, and now funerals are underway for 14 dead.
Obama turned his attention home and pleaded for lawmakers to "resist
the temptation to turn this tragic event into the political theater."
He said those who died on the nation's largest Army post deserve
justice, not political stagecraft.
This week, the ranking member of the the House Intelligence Committee, Rep. Pete Hoekstra (R-MI) asked for documents related to the Fort Hood killings:
...the administration is in possession of critical information related
to the attack that they are refusing to release to Congress or the
American people," Hoekstra said.
But Obama said he [Hoekstra] and other intelligence committee members had been "briefed," Hoekstra says that is not true. So, were the Democrats briefed, and Republicans not? Afterall, Congress is nothing but closed-doors to Republicans these days.
Rep. Pete Hoekstra (R-MI) is blasting President Obama for withholding
from the Congressional intelligence committees information on the Fort
Hood killings suspect, while at the same time acknowledging the leaders
of those panels -- including Hoekstra himself -- have indeed been
briefed on Nidal Malik Hasan.
House Democrats dismissed Hoekstra's concerns. Of course they did. In February 2008, Hoekstra spoke at the Heritage Foundation about the importance of "recognizing the threat of terrorism, but the Democrat leadership told him "the threat is not real." See that short video clip here.
The Atlantic's Marc Ambinder thinks Hoekstra "compromised a sensitive National Security Agency collection program" when he released the information that Hasan had email contact with an American-born Muslim jihadist now operating out of Yemen. While some intelligence agencies are concerned about Hoekstra's
interview with the Washington Post, a Hoekstra spokesman confirmed "the
congressman had not received any classified briefings about the Ft.
Hood attack."
It has to be embarrassing to the entire intelligence community - that
soldiers and civilians are dead because they put political correctness
ahead of safety. I hope it hurts their hearts, as well. If Hoekstra had not spilled the beans, we might never
have known of a Hasan-al-Qaeda contact.
Congress makes a hobby of leaking information that should not be leaked, but...was Hoekstra briefed or not? National security is not a partisan issue. If Republicans are being
shut-out of briefings, it needs to stop. Hoekstra's comments are
obviously inconvenient for Liberals, who want the Muslim-jihad angle
hushed. Hoekstra needs to keep pounding, or we will never know the truth.
