Somalia Beheadings: Lose your Muslim Faith, Lose your Head

Seven people in Somalia were beheaded recently for "abandoning the Muslim faith and spying for the government." The murderers are described as "militants," and women and children, as always in Muslim countries, are bearing the brunt of the cruelty.

This new wave of attacks are against a new government:

Western diplomats say the current transitional government of President Sheikh Sharif Sheikh Ahmed, which came to power in February, offers Somalia the best hope in years for political stability.

A spokesman for the United Nations (UN) Human Rights Council says the militants are trying to overthrow the transition government, they are holding trials, stoning, decapitating, amputating limbs, and using human shields. Aid Workers and journalists are "being directly targeted."

Rice in Baghdad: Security Agreement Drafted

Iraq and America near the conclusion of the long-awaited security agreement between the two countries with U.S. troop withdrawal and military "immunity" at the top of the list. U.S. Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice arrived in Baghdad today to tie-up lose ends. On Wednesday night, American and Iraqi officials confirmed that negotiators from the U.S. and Iraq had finalized a draft agreement. Rice cautioned that her visit should not signal that a final agreement is ready, but rather that the negotiations "...have moved forward in a positive way." This agreement will be ready when it's ready," she said. The historic pact is tasked with sobering details, including the withdrawal of American troops, an ongoing presence of U.S. troops in the country, "immunity" for American military, immunity for independent contractors, Iraq's troops taking a greater lead in combat missions, Iraq's role in America's military "authority" within the country, and measures to soothe the fears of surrounding Arab nations: The International Herald Tribune says that Iraq's Prime Minister Hoshyar Zebari declined to confirm an actual timeline for U.S. troop withdrawal, but quotes Zebari as saying: "Both sides have reached the conclusion that there is no need for any further negotiations," he said. "A draft agreement is there. It is now a political decision." In contrast, according to MSNBC, the draft agreement includes "the withdrawal of American forces from Iraq's cities by next June 30 [2009]"

In addition to spelling out that U.S. troops would move out of Iraqi cities by next summer, the Iraqi government has pushed for a specific date — most likely the end of 2011 — by which all U.S. forces would depart the country. In the meantime, the U.S. troops would be positioned on bases in other parts of the country to make them less visible while still being able to assist Iraqi forces as needed.

Zebari was asked about the reactions of nearby countries to the agreement. Speaking in Arabic, he said:

...this decision (agreement) is a sovereign one and Iran and other neighboring countries have the right to ask for clarifications. ... There are clear articles (that) say that Iraq will not be used as a launching pad for any aggressive acts against neighboring countries and we already did clarify this.

Moqtada al-Sadr a controversial and militant cleric, railed against the pact, saying that Washington was trying to "twist Baghdad's arm to sign it."

Today, Condoleezza Rice, the occupation foreign secretary, arrived in Iraq to try to put pressure on the government of Iraq to accept terms dictated by the occupation to sign this ominous treaty," said a statement read out by Sadr political adviser Liwa Smeism at the cleric's office in Najaf.

Secretary Rice will also attempt to get Iraq's failed election law back on track to allow an October 1st "provincial vote. The legislation stalled over how to "run the oil-rich northern city of Kirkuk."

Wednesday Hero: Pvt. Nathan Z. Thacker

Pvt. Nathan Z. Thacker 18 years old from Greenbrier, Arkansas 2nd Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division October 12, 2007 Pvt. Nathan Z. Thacker had only been in the country for two weeks before his death, according to the soldier's father, Stephen Thacker. Thacker's father said his son felt a duty to enlist. "He said it was his job. Even after he got his orders that he was going over there, he said it's his job." Thacker had attended Guy-Perkins High School in Guy, Arkansas. He earned his GED in 2006, his father said. Thacker enlisted in the Army in April 2007 and completed his training at Fort Benning, Ga. He arrived at Fort Drum in August 2007. His honors include the Purple Heart. "Nathan was an excellent man," sister Sabrina Black said. "He loved me, I loved him, and I’d give anything to have him back." Pvt. Thacker was killed when an IED was detonated near his vehicle near Kirkuk. Three other soldiers were injured in the attack. Pvt. Thacker is survived by his parents, siblings and his grandfather. These brave men and women sacrifice so much in their lives so that others may enjoy the freedoms we get to enjoy everyday. For that, I am proud to call them Hero. Warriors for Free Speech Battle-on Against Islam

The voice of Muslim "community" is reaching fever-pitch. Ezra Levant, a Canadian publisher, was forced to defend himself and his publication against complaints filed with the Alberta Human Rights Commission by the Edmonton Council of Muslim Communities. The "voice" is singular - the Muslim "community" throughout the world is the single voice of Islam. Levant had the strength and constitution to fight back and 900 days later the AHRC dismissed the Islamic complaint against him. If you are not familiar with his story, his opening statement as the Alberta Human Rights Commission began its interrogation of him is a good place to start. The Muslim community was offended that Levant dared republish the "Danish cartoons" of Muhammed. They took their complaint not to court but to a Human Rights Commission. Here's a portion of Levant's response in defense of own human rights:

I am here at this government interrogation under protest. It is my position that the government has no legal or moral authority to interrogate me or anyone else for publishing these words and pictures. That is a violation of my ancient and inalienable freedoms: freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and in this case, religious freedom and the separation of mosque and state. The commission was meant to deal with deeds, not words or ideas. Now the commission, which is funded by a secular government, from the pockets of taxpayers of all backgrounds, is taking it upon itself to be an enforcer of the views of radical Islam. So much for the separation of mosque and state.

Levant was lambasted by Leftist columnists when the dismissal was announced. Naomi Lakritz ("Jewish" according to Levant), writing for the Calgary Herald, lamented the lengthy process within the HRC and didn't hesitate to blame Levant for failing to take advantage of "conciliation."

[Levant] Yes, I was offered conciliation. The offer sounded like this: "pay cash to the radical Muslims, and give them a page in your magazine, unedited. Then we'll let you go." Most people take it -- they don't have the time or money to fight these bastards for 900 days.

By accepting and acting upon the Edmonton Muslim Community complaint, the Commission violated Levant's right to free speech. That's the issue: freedom of speech violated in the name and defense of Islam. Is the dismissal a victory for Levant?

I suppose, in a narrow technical sense, it is. I’m off the hook now for both of the HRC complaints. That’s two legal battles done – though I’m still up to my eyeballs fighting defamation suits and other legal actions that the human rights industry piled on top of these complaints. But I’ve read the dismissal letter three times now, and each time it makes me more angry. Because I haven’t been given my freedom of the press. I’ve simply had the government censor approve what I said. That’s a completely different thing. Pardeep Gundara – a second-rate bureaucrat, a nobody – had to give me his approval for me to be allowed to go back to my business. For 900 days I was in the dock, waiting for this literary giant to pronounce his judgment on me. And I found favour in his eyes – but barely.

Here's Levant on another violation of free speech by the AHRC:

Two months ago, Rev. Stephen Boissoin was given an outrageous sentence by the Alberta HRC for doing the same thing I did. Rev. Boissoin even met Gundara’s goofy tests. Why was I acquitted and Rev. Boissoin convicted, sentenced and humiliated? Because I’m a pain in the neck to the HRCs, and I have been embarrassing them ever since I YouTubed their interrogation of me. They wanted to avoid the PR disaster of a trial. Rev. Boissoin is more their style: a quiet man they can beat up with impunity.

Boissoin has been forbidden, for life, to speak of, refer to or quote any biblical passage on homosexuality.

CAIR Blames Bloggers for Tyson's Reinstatement of Labor Day

Tyson Foods gave Labor Day back to the Laborers today and Islam's jihad on the traditional American lifestyle took a significant hit. Ibrahim Hooper, Council on American Islamic Relation's (CAIR) National Communications Director, says Tyson Food's reinstatement of Labor Day as a paid holiday at their Shelbyville, TN plant, is

...the result of the backlash from anti-Muslim hate (Web) sites and Islamophobes on the Internet..."

This unsourced quote from the same Seattle Times article shows how deeply the Islamification of American life has embedded itself in our daily lives:

Requests for workplace accommodations of Muslim religious obligations have become common around the country, say Muslim advocates.

This is a broad failure for CAIR. It will not be easy to hi-jack another American tradition. Shelbyville, Tennessee's mayor, along with some elected state officials, made this statement in a letter:

For over a hundred years, Labor Day has stood as a symbol to honor the working men and women of this country. But for the past few years traditions like Labor Day have been under attack. This time it's gone too far and we, as patriotic Americans, must draw our line in the sand," the letter said states.

As far as "anti-Muslim hate web sites" being credited for this failure, I'm pleased to take my portion of the credit, and CAIR can call us what they will, but for me, I am against the Islamification of all things in America: no prayer rugs, no special prayer rooms, no foot baths, no Islamic prayers in schools, no directions to Mecca. A Muslim's right to pray on company time or in a public facility is no more important than my right. I have no right to visible prayer in any of those arenas. Remember US Airways and the "flying imams?" The six clerics alarmed airport workers, US Airways passengers and crew with their "suspicious" behavior, and were removed from the flight before take-off. One of the clerics was Omar Shahin. From The Wall Street Opinion Journal:

From 2000 to 2003, he headed the Islamic Center of Tucson, which terrorism expert Rita Katz described in the Washington Post as holding "basically the first cell of al Qaeda in the United States.

What was the suspicious behavior:

Some prayed loudly in the gate area, spoke angrily about the U.S. and Saddam, switched seats and unnecessarily requested seat belt extenders with heavy buckles that could be used as weapons, according to witnesses.

America's first Muslim Congressman, Keith Ellison (D-MN), who took his oath to office on the Koran, said the imam's situation reflects a misunderstanding of Muslim prayer and will be sorted out in court. The airport is in Ellison's district:

While some constituents have understood the fears of the passenger who reported the clerics' prayers as suspicious activity, many more have expressed shock and surprise at what they perceive as discrimination," Ellison wrote.

Well, maybe but Katherine Kersten, writing for the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported:

So far, Minnesotans have said a resolute "no" to Muslim activists' agenda; in an informal Star Tribune poll, 92% of respondents blamed the imams' own behavior for their airport detention.

The Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) spokesman, Patrick Hogan told Ms. Kersten:

...there is a sense that we've seen just the opening skirmishes. As MAC spokesman Patrick Hogan put it, "I think people are afraid there will be a chapter two."

Exactly, and chapter two, three, four and on and on are happening all over America. Tyson Foods' disregard for America's beloved holidays is but one more example of bowing to the Islamification of all things, but America won this one too. Condi Rice: Bullied Into Denying Palestinian's Entry into U.S.

WASHINGTON — An American-trained Pakistani neuroscientist with ties to operatives of Al Qaeda has been charged with trying to kill American soldiers and F.B.I. agents in a police station in Afghanistan last month, the Justice Department said Monday night.

I'll trust Israel any day over Condoleeza Rice's repeated bad judgement.

WASHINGTON — The United States has revoked the visas of three Palestinian Fulbright scholars whose cases were taken up personally by Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice after Israel refused to let them leave Gaza for interviews, U.S. officials said Monday.

Visas for the three, along with a fourth Palestinian student from Gaza who had hoped to come to the U.S. under a different program, were approved after Rice intervened in June but were rescinded last week when "new information" about them was received, the officials said.

Gonzalo Gallegos said the State Department decided to take a "harder" look:

Gallegos declined to comment on the nature of the "new information" about the four Palestinians, one of whom had actually arrived at Dulles International Airport outside Washington before he was told his visa had been revoked and was forced to return to Jordan.

Rice was reportedly "infuriated" when her State Department officials squashed the 7 Fulbright scholarships.

One official said Rice, who had been outspoken about the negative signal the original cancellations sent to Palestinians and the broader Arab world, had ordered a top-to-bottom review of the entire Fulbright scholarship vetting process in the wake of the cancellations.

Here's the signal Rice needs to get: No entry into the U.S. for anyone from ANY terrorist state. I understand the mission of the State Department's Fullbright Scholarships, but it is futile to honor the young men and women of Palestine or any terrorist homeland with an American education. We are post 9/11 and the message is clear - get what you can from the U.S., learn the habits and weaknesses of its people, return home and help us take them down.

Rice doesn't get it and never has. I had great hopes for her leadership within the State Department - what a disappointment - almost from the very beginning. Her bright light has turned dark. Read more at FoxNews.com

It has been revealed that the British Security Service MI5 are now using spy planes over densely populated Moslem strongholds within Great Britain in an effort to try and pick up voice signatures of Islamic militants on the ground there whose voices have been recorded in the war zone of Afghanistan fighting alongside Al Qaeda and the Taliban against Coalition troops.

It was reported that Islamic militants on the ground in Afghanistan were breaking into broad Birmingham and Yorkshire accents whilst speaking Pashtun and Urdu which proved that British Moslems were leaving Britain to fight for the Taliban, and now we know that they have returned.

We even have British Moslems who are claiming benefits from the State going door to door amongst their communities to raise funds for Moslems to fight against Coalition troops in Afghanistan – What do you think about that?

Military spy planes flying over areas of Great Britain in a desperate search for Islamic terrorists on the ground?

Sounds like something that happens over in the war zones of Iraq and Afghanistan as spy planes search for Islamic militants on the ground there amongst the civilian population, not the once safe shores of England where across the land "Islamic terrorism is anti-Islamic activity" as prescribed by the Home Secretary who is in charged with over seeing the National Security of the British homeland, and "Moslem and terrorist are two words that do not go together" as prescribed by Brian Padick Deputy Commissioner of Scotland Yard.

Islam's Holy War against the Western World is well and truly upon our British shores now make no mistake about it. There is a 3+ million strong Islamic Kingdom camped the length and breadth of the Nation that has a military wing assigned to it that is comprised of the British born Moslem youth who believe that fighting and dying in the way of Jihad for Allah and their religion is the highest obligation for any Moslem and the only sure way of attaining their paradise with the 72 Virgins who will be waiting there for them as martyrs. This same military wing of the Islamic Kingdom of Great Britain is joined to the global military wing of the Islamic religion that has declared, and is at War with our Western Civilisation.

The real urban guerilla Civil War within Great Britain has not even started yet, the Islamic militants on the ground spread throughout the Country are just in preparation stage, recruiting, training, raising funds and preparing their Moslem brothers and sisters for what is to come.

Digging in and fortifying their positions through the street Jihad and cultural Jihad for the future Civil War against the kuffar for rule of the British Isles, and they are plundering and raping society at every turn to finance their Holy War against us.

Where as the British non-Moslem population like myself cannot even talk about this Islamic enemy that has surrounded us who is already conducting a low level Civil War against them without the fear and threat of arrest because the days ruling Liberal Elite tell everyone there is no problem in our society with regards to Islam's Global Jihad, and that the British citizens who say there is are racist right wing bigots who should be locked up.

For Brigadier Ed Butler who was former head of the SAS to say: 'There is a link between Kandahar and urban conurbations in the UK. This is something the military understands but the British public does not,' means there is a very serious threat to the life of the Nation from a hostile military force in our midst do you not think?

The urban guerilla Islamic militants are out there.

We have our hands tied behind our backs by British law while the Islamic enemy seeking our conquest digs in and prepares for an all out assault and Holy War for the future conquest of our Nation, so it does not bode well for the British people in the days that lay ahead does it when we cannot even prepare for what is coming.

We have to keep out heads down and our mouths shut, or we become outcasts in society, possibly arrested by our own people for speaking out, or murdered by some raging lunatic Moslem.

In any conflict zone the one who controls specific areas on the ground is the one who is in charge in that locality, winning that part of the War front. Across Great Britain it is common knowledge amongst the population that the Islamic Kingdom controls large parts of our land, living as a State within a State, with a paramilitary wing on the ground that is made up of trained terrorists, criminals, drug pushers and the wider community who support this part of the Jihad, then you have the ruling religious authorities and then those who are playing politics within the democratic system, all with the one aim in mind which is the furtherance of the goals of their Islamic religion within our British non-Islamic society.

There can only be one winner in war, them or us no middle ground, so what do you want it to be for the sake of your children and grandchildren.

There hasn't been all out Civil conflict yet because the Islamic Kingdom of Great Britain is taking our Country over without a fight, we have had Abu Qatadar and another Al Qaeda terrorist freed from prison with Abu Hamza on his way to being freed after threats of violence from the military wing of Islam, we have some of the top voices in the land saying we must adopt Sharia law into our legal system, and wherever there is a large encampment of Moslems they control the ground through their criminal networks and the drugs trade, namely heroin from the fields of Afghanistan. These are just a few examples of the Islamification and take over of the British homeland.

Why rock the boat when its sailing just fine?

It is only a matter of time though until it all blows up and when it does the British people are not ready.

What happens on the ground within Great Britain has a direct influence on the American homeland because we are the stepping stone into what the Islamic Worlds perceives as the greatest battlefield of the 21st Century, the Great Satan, unless you close your borders to those entering your shores with British passports that is, but I cannot see that happening in the immediate future can you. So the American borders are porous to Islamic militants entering your shores originating from Great Britain who carry the Queens Crown on their passports.

To think that no attacks have been planned against America or no terrorist activity facilitated from Britain that has escaped the eyes of the Security Services both sides of the Atlantic is naïve.
In December 2007 there was a News of the World undercover investigation into a passport scam involving Moslems working as British lawyers within the justice system. This group of lawyers offered to sell fake passports to undercover reporters who were posing as Islamic militants which shows how easy it is if you know the right people, for international Islamic militants to obtain British passports and then enter the American homeland at will. Look at Diren Barot for example, Al Qaeda's British General who is now serving 30 years for terrorist activity who amongst other things had planned to blow up the American stock exchange, or Richard Reid the shoe bomber, both Moslems originating from Great Britain intent on harming the American people as part of the global Jihad.

There is no National Security within Great Britain, the heart of the Nation has been penetrated and we now endanger the international community because of the Islamic Kingdom of Great Britain that currently resides within our land and their Liberal Elite State facilitators who are nurturing their growth in our midst, denying there is a problem and handing the Nation over to the Islamic religion bit by bit, piece by piece.

The Russian government told the Liberal Elite who are in power that the British Moslem community in the UK were raising funds and recruiting for the Jihad in Chechnya against the Russians and they denied it. They said that if it was true they would shut it down. Then the video evidence emerged that the likes of Abu Hamza, Abu Qatadar, Omar Bakri and Abu Izzadeen where in fact recruiting and raising funds for the War against the Russians, thus exporting Islamic terror to Russia with a British trade mark.

Great Britain is headquarters for the global Jihad within the Western World, all known international terror groups have headquarters and networks in place here, including at one time Osama Bin Laden who had a headquarters in London. The Liberal Elite did a deal with the devil where they promised a safe haven to Islamic militants fleeing their terror exploits in other lands within our Country just so long as the militants did not attack Great Britain. This worked for a time when they had a free reign to recruit and raise funds upon our soil for the global Jihad but then that all back fired on 9/11 and 7/7 with the British people now paying the price for this National disgrace with an uncontrollable blood thirsty Islamic beast now in our midst just waiting for the right time to unleash hell upon the British people.

It is a lot wiser if you are a Moslem to fight Great Britain from within the safety and security of the Nation than to travel half way around the World and be bombed by the most advanced weapons known to man don't you think.

The danger the British homeland now faces is unquantifiable with the Security Services having absolutely no control over it – Civil conflict unfolds daily

For me as a British citizen what am I meant to do in relation to Islam's Holy War against my Country? Just sit back, keep my head down and my mouth shut about what is happening?

I hope that it is not too late before people realise the imminent threat we face.

The Somali's Only Documented Act of Assimilation - Voting

Tyson Foods' cancellation of the Labor Day holiday for their employees in Tennessee - instead giving them a Muslim holiday - want it or not - on the day decreed by Islam, was the final nail for me.

A reader and great blogger Holger Awakens left the following story on one of my comment threads. Think about the significance of Holger's last paragraph:

Many, many years ago, the State of Minnesota led the nation in extending an invitation to the people of South Vietnam to come to Minnesota and start a new life - much of that was coordinated by the churches in Minnesota. These Vietnamese refugees came to Minnesota and after a few growing pains, assimilated into American and Minnesota society and have been a truly miraculous contributing segment of society.

The same experiment was tried with Somalis coming to Minnesota, yet now after several years, the muslims of Somalia in Minnesota continue to fight assimilation and instead demand conforming to THEIR way of life. They have brought crime and divisiveness to Minnesota where the Vietnamese brought an ethic of hard work and honor.

P.S. the one documented act of assimilation into Minnesota society by the Somalis was in 2006 when they massed at the voting precincts in Minneapolis to cast their votes. And who did they help elect? The mouthpiece for the Nation of Islam, Keith Ellison.

In a previous post, Tyson Foods Brings Latent Tuberculosis to Emporia, KS, I asked how hundreds of sick Somalis were allowed into the United States under the guise of working for Tyson Foods.

I don't have the answer but the problem is far more convoluted than presented by the author of a Topeka Capital-Journal piece, who viewed a huge influx of Somali "humanitarian refugees" as "exotic."

H/T to reader Bob for providing this link: On December 9, 2007 Tom Squitieri writing for NewsMax reported the death of a Somalia man inside the Emporia, KS Tyson plant in January 2007. After that death from tuberculosis, health officials reported 160 cases of latent TB among the "humanitarian refugees."

Again, here's the question? How did they make it into the U.S.? The Center for Disease Control says visas will not be issued to diseased individuals unless the Attorney General requests waives inadmissibility on health related issues. Is the U.S. Attorney General. I would assume so. Who requested that these men be allowed into the U.S.? It must be Tyson Foods, and why would that request be granted?

The Emporia, KS debacle is but a tip of the iceberg. From Newsmax:

Local officials say the case represents only a small part of the growing problem of foreign-born, unassimilated communities with high rates of communicable diseases such as TB and HIV. Many say they need help from Washington, which has been silent on the issue for too long.

We have not really gotten Congress to engage, which I would like to see occur, Peggy Mast, an 11-year Republican state representative from Kansas whose district includes Emporia, tells Newsmax. I have talked with some of the offices and they think it is more of a state issue . . .

Well, I assume it was not THE STATE that admitted these refugees to the U.S. in the first place. Oh, there's so much to say about this one, but I'll skip my rant for now, because there is more:

Take a look at this:

The U.S. government has agreed to resettle more than 12,000 Somalis who fled their war-torn country in the past decade. Many have been living in refugee camps in Kenya prior to coming to America.

So these 12,000 are already here - have been here for at least a year.

Mandatory health screenings are frequently put off for several months after the immigrants arrival. Those who blend into the secretive, tight-knit Somali community often do not resurface to be tested for communicable disease, officials complain.

Mast says that all levels of government need to be more pro-active in dealing with the issue of immigration workers, as it has opened up many additional areas of concerns including community safety, cultural clashes, and a long-term financial drain on communities where unskilled immigrants congregate for employment.

So at least someone is admitting that cultural clashes are a reality, and that communities suffer LONG-TERM financial harm - and these immigrants are "unskilled," to boot, so why did we bring them over? Oh, of course, it was for humanitarian reasons. What about the humanity right here in the U.S. working and paying our taxes each and every day - for what, to pay the damage control for Tyson Foods ?

When the U.S. chooses to be benevolent, there are right ways and wrong ways to go about it. This is the wrong way. These "refugees," were no doubt starving and living in unspeakable circumstances, but if we're going to bring the sick and the hungry to America, bring the children. There will be no cultural clashes, they will not hole-up in patriarchial cults, their diseases can be cured or controlled, they will have a chance for honest freedom and will not be invested in changing ours. This may not be viable - probably for certain isn't, but...

Back to Emporia:

Mast said the TB infections in the Somali community Emporia, a city of 28,000 people, the third highest TB rate in Kansas.

[The Somali community] is dealing with active cases now, she tells Newsmax. This population is extremely difficult to track and it is hard to treat them. You have to make sure they are compliant with the medication and make sure they finish it up.

Remember Andrew Speaker and his bride, Sarah? They had a fairytale wedding in Greece, honeymoon in Italy. Got a phone call in their bridal suite from the CDC. He was told that the authorities would arrive in "hours," to place him in quarantine. Well they found Andrew Speaker, from Atlanta, via Greece, in Italy, but they can't rout-out the tuberculer Somalis in Emporia, KS.

The truth is, they don't want to find them - it's not politically correct to intrude on a the privacy of a Muslim community.

Officials admit:

...that latent TB and other infectious diseases are prevalent among Somali and other humanitarian refugees arriving in the U.S.

She [Mast] said there has been little family reunification among the male workers something that could occur in the future and further exacerbate the problem and stress the community financially and culturally.

I had to reread that one a couple of times. I can only assume that these male refugees have not yet brought their refugee families to the U.S. - and if and when they do, the problems multiply.

Peggy Mast, the Gazette says, is an "11 year Republican state representative from Kansas whose district includes Emporia..." We'll I'm almost speechless:

[Mast says] There have already been several cultural clashes. This is a disservice to the population you are bringing in and you are inviting a cultural clash, Mast says. The fact there is such a cultural clash and where you have active TB cases, you only have to guess to imagine the fear that spreads through the community.

Here's a Conservative warning of the disservice to the "population" brought to the U.S. under the guise of humane refugee status - and they are sick with a communicable disease, they are trouble makers and they have no interest in "communing" with Americans.

Obviously, Ms. Mast hasn't lived in a Muslim country, because if she had, she would know all about unfair cultural clashes. Instead, she chides the people of Emporia for adding to the burden of the Somali refugees.

Here's a snippet from Peggy Mast's website:

I believe that Kansas families deserve leaders who are capable of implementing positive change...leaders who understand the unique character of our communities, the strength of our citizens, and the importance of our children's future.
During challenging times, state government needs experienced leadership rooted in conservative values that can make a difference for our communities.
I pledge to continue to be a voice for the people I represent and not special interest groups. Putting the people of my district first has always been my top priority.

Mast's website also says: "If you live in the city of Emporia, Peggy may or may not represent you,..."

The question is, is the Tyson Food plant in District 76 - Peggy's District? Is she invested in cheap labor for Tyson? Can there be another reason that she would make such charges against her constituency? As I look through her website I see that she is quite conservative - supporting second amendment rights to "keep and bear arms," including giving her vote for "conceal and carry" legislation.

Reading the comment thread in various Kansas newspapers, her constituents seem to think she is doing a good job.

Mast is calling on the Feds for thorough screenings "on refugees entering the U.S."

In addition to health concerns, she said there should be mandatory cultural education to help refugees assimilate.

Mast says "they [the Somalis] do not understand the culture."

It's not only the Somalis. Americans have learned and are beginning to accept that most Muslims, not all, will never understand our culture, refuse to understand it - it is the culture of infidels:

[Mast again] Men tend not to show respect for women. They are very demanding and do not respect other peoples space, Mast says. Additionally, she said the limited language skills have caused communication issues beyond simple day-to-day contact.
For example, Mast says most of the Somalis in Emporia are single males who live in a cluster near Emporia State University. She said several female students complained of being extremely intimidated by the Somali men's presence.

Islam knows no respect for women. God bless the women and children because the Muslim men have a plan and it's not pretty. This is something that our Government cannot legislate.
We must keep these people out of the United States. As jaded as I am, I still believe in legal immigration from Arab countries for people who have jobs, can support themselves, want to be among Americans and most importantly, understand and co-operate with us as we surveil their every move, if and when necessary.
Here's Mast worrying about the "sense of security" for the Somalis again:

We look down the road and see the problems they can create. Unemployed single males with nothing to do.
Mast says the inconsistency of some of the authorities does not help create any sense of security.
She notes that it is cultural for Somalis to marry up to four wives at one time.

Is this now legal in the U.S. - can they come here and do this, or has a local court conspired with the local back street iman to carry on business as usual - as is done routinely in Britain ?

My concern is multiple children: Is our society prepared to take responsibility for caring for that size of the family? [Sponsors] say it will be a major resettlement [in Emporia]. The community is not ready for this, Mast says.

Where in all this dialog from Ms. Mast is the culpability of Tyson Foods?

About 3/4ths of the way through this post, I found that Tyson "restructured" its Emporia plant. In January 2008 they announced the coming lay-off of 1500-2400 jobs. How many of those were Somalian refugees and where are they now? Where are the 12,000 Somalis that the U.S. agreed to resettle?
