Hacking Update

A quick update on the hacking of this blog. The IP host in California found the hackers and suspended the account. I expect them to quickly set-up again with another host and come back. I'm making plans for that event. They know how to do it now, so no Blogger blog is safe. Google/Blogger did not respond to any of my pleas for help.

I still am not clear about the motive, whether Liberal operative or the sons of Islam. Across the web these people are identified with the country of Kurdistan and their pings are associated with the flag of Kurdistan. Their website is/was written in Arabic.

Since you are visiting here, do not be concerned about visiting a hacked site. There are NO VIRUSES, my contacts are safe - my computer is not compromised.

Bloggers, remember, if you see links from Maggie's Notebook on your posts, click the arrow next to the link. You'll see the excerpt there, and if the excerpt does not seem related to my post title, I did not put the link(s) there. The only consequence of the hack, as far as I can see, is linking each one of my posts to other conservative blogs. That's it...nothing dangerous, but obviously annoying for my friends.

Vatican Statement: Koran Encourages Killing Christians: Christian Leaders Labeled Extreme

The Vatican has been meeting with Middle East bishops, along with Muslim clerics. While America's Left refuses to acknowledge that the Koran calls for death for Christians, along with Jews and everyone not submitting to Islam, the Vatican's Archbishop Raboula Beylouni has issued this statement: (important video below)

"The Koran gives Muslims the right to judge Christians and kill them with Jihad," he said. "It gives orders to impose religion with force, with the sword. For this reason, Muslims don't recognise the freedom of religion among themselves or others."

Muslims attending: Muhammad al-Sammak, political counsellor to the Grand Mufti of Lebanon, representing Sunni Islam; and Ayatollah Seyed Mostafa Mohaghegh Ahmadabadi, a law professor at the Shahid Beheshti University of Tehran and member of the Iranian Academy of Sciences, representing Shia Islam.

Pope Benedict XVI has warned against "lashing out against violence "in God's name." I praise the Pontiff and the Archbishop. It is critically important that Catholics and Protestants stand together to reveal the truth of the Koran. I can think of no more important issue today, than defending the West against Islamization.

When Christian ministers speak out against Islam and its threat, they are branded "radical Christians," "fundamentalist Christians," or "extremist right-wing religious leaders," and accused of attacking Muslims. Here's a good example:

Rev. O’Neal Dozier is pastor of the Worldwide Christian Center in Pompano Beach, Florida. He is a Conservative Republican and had a long history of favor with the GOP and the Bush family. That is, until the day he said Islam is a cult and he had a problem with a Muslim mosque being built in his community. Then he was asked to step down from the Broward Judicial Nominating Committee. It is said that he was“controversial” because he, a minister of a Gospel of Jesus Christ would ask judicial candidates if they were “God-fearing”. Oh my, to think a minister would actually ask someone going into a post of authority if they fear God...

Every quarter or so, I post this important video on the demographics of Muslims in Western nations. You will be overwhelmed by what you see, just as free countries are already being overwhelmed by the Muslim birth rate.

Angela Merkel: Multiculturalism Failed in Germany: We Thought They'd Be Gone but...

German Chancellor Angela Merkel says "immigrants should learn to speak German," acknowledging that the "multikulti" concept has failed..."utterly." While Muslims are not specifically accused, it becomes clear as you read on. See an intriguing video of Muslims in Germany below and see what they really want.

Merkel is advising immigrants to do more to integrate, as an "anti-immigration feeling" rises in the country. Germans believe their country, suffering from high unemployment is "overrun by foreigners."

She added: "We kidded ourselves a while, we said: 'They won't stay, sometime they will be gone', but this isn't reality."

Hear it in the video below. Can you imagine that statement being made in the U.S.? 'Yeah, we thought they would leave after awhile but it isn't happening.' But the Chancellor made it clear that foreigners are welcome in Germany, just please speak our language and become one of us [my interpretation].

She specifically referred to recent comments by German President Christian Wulff who said that Islam was "part of Germany," like Christianity and Judaism.

In May 2010, the Central council of Muslims, pulled out of a German government-sponsored effort to "foster Muslim integration." Family Security Matters has the story.

See, the real problem in Germany, as with elsewhere across the globe are contentious Muslims. Most of the contentious believe in jihad against non-believers - that would be us." You can champion Muslim rights in the West all you want, but there is no such thing as a Muslim's infidel friend after you are no longer of use to the jihadist mission. You are next on the list.

Another long-range problem: Many Muslims in Germany and the U.S. refuse to let their school children integrate. We must think about what that means, and it isn't simple or pleasant. Children world-wide are the future. Put that in a post-it note in a place where you see it often.

In 2009, there were 4.3 million Muslims in Germany, 5.4% of the population. Some 2.5 million are Turkish immigrants or migrants. The U.S. has a Muslim population of  about 2.5 million. Many assimilate. Those who do not are the problem.

The debate first heated up in August when Thilo Sarrazin, a senior official at Germany's central bank, said that "no immigrant group other than Muslims is so strongly connected with claims on the welfare state and crime". Mr Sarrazin has since resigned.

Four thousand Germans converted between July 2004 and June 2005" - mainly women who married a Muslim," but also many university graduates.

Wellesley Public School Students Pray to Allah

In this video, you can see the male Middle School children from a Wellesley, Massachusetts Public School, standing after prostrating themselves in prayer to Allah. A mother was there, takes photos, and tells her story in the video. The Muslim American Society operates the mosque. There are connections to terrorism running all through the place. How Close is the Ground Zero Mosque site to Ground Zero Video

If you watched any of the 9/11 videos on the 9th anniversary of the attack on American, you know when the buildings went down, the site of the proposed mosque was enveloped in the smoke and debris of the World Trade Towers. In the second video, you'll see the smoke and lack of visibility just one block east of the site. If you have not viewed the History Channel's 102 Minutes of September 11th, 2001 it is worth a watch, and contains no news commentary. 102 Minutes is all filmed by people in the area of the World Trade Towers, who lived through it.

Derek Fenton Koran Burner Fired

Derek Fenton burned pages of the Koran outside the old Burlington Coat Factory location of the proposed Ground Zero mosque. Fenton was fired by the New Jersey Transit, where he has worked for the last eleven years. Please try to vote in the NYDaily News poll below. Conservatives are not winning.

Fenton was "ushered" from the Mosque protesters by the police for questioning but was not charged.

He said, 'This is America,'and he wanted to stand up for it, in a Tea Party kind of way," a police source said.

Another police source said Fenton described himself as a "loyal American" exercising his "right to protest."

Several neighbors in Fenton's town stood up for his right to express himself with flames.

"Good for him for burning the Koran," neighbor Jacqui Marquez, 40, said.

"Everybody's entitled to their opinion ... by firing him, they're sending a message that there's no freedom of speech. They're completely wrong for doing this."

"He's a family man," neighbor Randy McConnell, 43, said.

"He loves his kids and he loves trains. I don't agree with what he did, but he shouldn't lose his job over it. That's his right."

If Fenton was fired for burning the Koran while off-duty, his First Amendment rights probably were violated, Chris Dunn of the New York Civil Liberties Union said.

"The Supreme Court has recognized a constitutional right to burn the flag. As reprehensible as it may be, burning the Koran would be protected as well."

Feisal Rauf Mosque Controversy Bigger Than Danish Cartoon

The Ground Zero mosque imam Feisal Rauf speaks of the "radical discourse" coming from those in opposition to the mosque being built, yet threatens us with the "very dangerous" retaliation we can expect from the radicals in the Muslim world, and says this can be "bigger than the Danish cartoon crisis. Ironic, he wants Americans to talk about the 9/11 attacks - at the "community center, so that we can "heal," and yet we have had virtually no Muslims wanting to dialog up to this point. "The moderates must take over the conversation, he says" Ha! Where are those moderates among Muslims? There are plenty of American moderates. It's the moderate non-Muslims who think building this mosque is a good idea.

 As I've said over and over before, if you think this mosque will not be filled with the most radical imam's in the U.S. and from around the world you are not thinking. If you think this spot two blocks from the World Trade Center site will not become an American Mecca, in the worst sense, you are not thinking. And if I am wrong, you at least must concede that this might happen. I say it is likely to happen.

"If we move from that location..."

The danger from the radicals in the Muslims around the world to our national security...The concern for Americans who live and work and travel overseas will increasingly be compromised, if the rads are strengthen and if we do move it will strength their ability to recruit and their increasing aggression and violence around the country.

In the second video, Rauf says he plans to build a Muslim Y[MCA], so that Muslims can bond with the other New Yorkers. "Anger in the Muslim world will explode," he says, and if he had known how heated the opposition would become, he would not have planned to build on this spot, but now he must:

"If this is not handled correctly, this crisis could become much bigger than the Danish cartoon crisis, which resulted in attacks on Danish embassies in various parts of the Muslim world," Rauf said later. ".... If we don't handle this crisis correctly it could become something which could really become very, very, very dangerous indeed."

For all the talk about a "Y," remember that news of the "community center" came only after outrage about the mosque. Don't forget that the mosque itself will be capable of holding 1,000 worshippers.

Nasrin Soutoudeh Shirin Ebadi: Nasrin Soutoudeh Arrested Charged

Nasrin Soutoudeh, sometimes spelled Nasrine, is an Iranian female attorney representing Nobel Peace Prize laureate Shirin Ebadi. Soutoudeh received a warning from the Iranian intelligence officials that she would be arrested if she continued to represent Ebadi. Ebadi fled Iran one day before the elections, in June 2009 and is living in London. Soutoudeh was arrested last Saturday and is believed to be in Tehran's Evin prison.

Charged with "propaganda against the regime" and "acting against national security," Soutoudeh is a member of the Iranian Human Rights movement, the One Million Signature Campaign, which is gathering names of Iranians opposed to the country's laws against women, and the Society for the Protection of the Rights of the Child (SPRC).

Nasrin's home and office were searched at the end of August. Her hard drives were confiscated and her assets frozen. She has a husband, who she says is a "modern man," and two children about 11 and 3 years old. In Iran, Human Rights attorneys receive no payment for representing human rights victims. She believes the regime is working to "limit the conditions for human rights defense, and says the "ultimate goal is to shut down all defense of human rights."

A few days before her arrest, Sotoudeh told the International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran how the authorities were creating bogus tax problems for human rights lawyers as a way to provide pretexts for their prosecution.

“I was referred to the taxation bureau and while there I noticed in addition to my name, they are conducting special investigations into thirty human rights lawyers,” she said.

Soutoudeh said Shirin Ebadi paid hundreds of thousands of dollars on her 2003 Nobel Peace Prize money. She was the first Iranian to win the Nobel, and the first Muslim woman to receive the honor. In 2009 the regime confiscated the medal,  and diploma from her bank box and froze her assets.

Ebadi is also an Iranian lawyer, a human rights activist and the founder of Centre for the Defence of Human Rights in Iran.  Nasrin Soutoudeh has represented many victims of Human Rights atrocities, many of them Human Rights attorneys.

There are some conflicting stories about Soutoudeh, but in all, she is at the least missing. Some of the accounts say her attorney was told that "Soutoudeh would be interrogated for an indefinite time." Her husband says he has not seen her or heard from her.

Muslim women in the U.S. and across the West, live in a large measure of freedom, or at least the opportunity of freedom,  and never utter a word about their sisters existing in abject tyranny. Soutoudeh is just one of many. Give me one reason Islam is to be respected...anywhere in the world. Just one.

Obamas Cairo Speech Taken From Imam Feisal Raufs Book: Feisal Rauf Courted Mayor Bloomberg

Iman Feisal Rauf said Barack Obama used a chapter of his book to write his Arab-lauded Cairo speech. Rauf said "entire parts" of his book were transferred to Obama's speech by "one of those who participated in writing the speech." The speech writer is not named. Rauf made this admission speaking in Arabic. He also said he "courted" New York City Michael Bloomberg. Jihad is alive and well in New York City and the Oval Office. Rauf's book has one self-admitted goal in mind - getting the West to accept Muslim countries with their jihad and their Shariah law. Note below that Rauf expects the West, including our Government, our teachers and our press to make the way for Islam.

According to the imam, his book outlines what the Christian community, Jewish community, educators, the media and THE U.S. GOVERNMENT must do for Muslim countries to have "good relations with America."

"For example, in my book in the Arabic version page 293, what did I write? What are the things that the United States Needs to do. If you examine this chapter you will find that the Obama speech in Cairo was all taken from this section [Section 6]..."

The clue was revealed while Rauf was answering a question regarding President Barack Obama's speech in which Rauf replied:

"The speech was wonderful and wise in this choice of words, the Prime Minister of Malaysia after the speech disclosed to me that it is now easy for any president of a Muslim country to establish good relations with America, and I am not going to hide from you that one of those who participated in writing the speech, transferred entire parts of my book 'A new Vision for Muslims and the West, which he referred to U.S. interests being compatible with top interests of the Muslim world."

Rauf speaks of courting Bloomberg and the Jewish community. This article written by Walid Shoebat reminds us that Imam Rauf speaks in a very moderate and peaceful tone when speaking to Western audiences, but that tone changes when speaking to Arabic speakers "exposing him as a direct supporter of terrorism, both financially and verbally." Walid Shoebat is a former terrorist and the author of Why I Left Jihad, Why We Want to Kill You, and God's War on Terror. He is an American citizen and lives in the U.S.

US Taxpayer's Money Restores Islam's Historic Cultural Sites

While taxpayers pay for Imam Feisal Rauf to travel the Middle East raising funds for the Ground Zero mosque, we learn today that Congress has set aside $6 million to 63 historic and cultural sites, including mosques and minarets in 56 nations. Hillary Clinton says the fund demonstrates America's respect for the world's heritage. As you will read below, this is an annual gift to the world outside of the U.S. It has been happening since 2001. Wouldn't you think we could have put this $6 million on the back-burner until we begin to climb out of the economic pit we are in?

The money is designated under the 2010 Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation. You will be comforted to know that the project will also restore "Christian and Buddhist sites as well as museums, forts and palaces."

Golden Mosque - Lahore, Pakistan

The contributions include $76,135 for the 16th century Grand Mosque in Tongxin, China, and $67,500 for the 18th century Golden Mosque in Lahore, Pakistan. An additional $62,169 will be spent on restoring a 19th century minaret in Mauritania's ancient city of Tichitt; $50,437 for the Sundarwala Burj, a 16th century Islamic Monument in New Delhi, and $15,450 to restore the 18th century Gobarau Minaret in Katsina, Nigeria.

Find the State Department list of 2010 "Awards" here. In addition to the Lahore mosque in Pakistan, an $850,000 project will restore the 17th Century Islamic Sheikhupura Fort.

Just a cursory search of the term “mosque” on the State Department’s list of “projects” reveals 26 examples of federal funds going to fund construction, renovation, and rehabilitation of various mosques abroad. The benefiting countries include Bulgaria, Pakistan, Mali, Tunisia, Afghanistan, Benin, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Albania, Egypt, Tunisia, the Maldives, Yemen, Turkmenistan, Tanzania, Uganda, Azerbaijan, Sudan, Serbia and Montenegro.

In Montenegro, for example, the State Department has funded an effort to restore and conserve the Shadrvan (Fountain) of the Old Mosque in Pljevlja. According to the State Department’s website, without needed repairs there would not be a sufficient place for ritual washing before prayer.

“To support the restoration of a fountain at a 16th-century mosque concurrent with the restoration of the mosque itself. Used for ritual ablutions before prayer, the fountain has deteriorated over time and needs a new wooden octagonal roof, pipes, water-taps, and pavement,” the description of the project reads.

Nicole Thompson, a State Department spokeswoman, told The Daily Caller that the U.S. Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation is a type of diplomatic effort and outreach, what she says Secretary of State Hillary Clinton calls “soft power.”

“It is helping to preserve our cultural heritage. It is not just to preserve religious structures,” Thompson said. “It is not to preserve a religion. It is to help us as global inhabitants preserve cultures.”

In a document provided on Monday to Indiana Republican Sen. Richard G. Lugar, ranking member of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, the State Department explained that the practice of funding such projects became acceptable in 2003 when the Justice Department declared that the U.S. Constitution’s Establishment Clause did not preclude federal funds from going to preserve religious structures if they had cultural importance....

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has also spent millions reconstructing and financing multiple mosques in Cairo and Cyprus, as well as providing computers for imams in Tajikistan and Mali. 

You will be glad to know the monies for mosque restoration are just a pittance compared to the total expenditures of the Ambassador's Fund.

American Mecca Ground Zero Mosque - Proving Ground for Radical Imams

Question for Ground Zero mosque supporters: Do you really believe this mosque at 51 Park will not be an attraction for every radical imam in the country, perhaps becoming the American Mecca? If Anwar al-Awlaki could get back into the U.S. without arrest, do you think he would not burn the trail to 51 Park? Do you think the mosque will not be treated as a trophy, and a proving ground for imams and their rising careers? Are you willing to take the chance of building a 15-story breeding ground where prayers 5 times a days will ring-over the site where American ingenuity once thrived, and Americans died.

The Truth Behind The Ground Zero Mosque

The ruins of the World Trade Center and the ground that they occupied are considered by many people (myself included) sacred ground.  Thus the proposal for a Mosque to be built at Ground Zero is offensive to us, due to the nature of the attacks that day, the religion of the attackers and the joy the Muslim world had when the news of the destruction and death of that infamous day was broadcast to them.

The members of the left-wing  and their mouthpieces in the media are screaming how the Imam of this Mosque is a moderate, is a bridge-builder, is a true man of peace, a loving man.  Just listen to his views:



Why is it that Muslims cannot or will not accept responsibility for this atrocity?  In fact they are the biggest deniers of the truth behind 9/11.  They claim George Bush, the CIA, the Israelis, MI-5, and or the Mossad all did 9/11 to discredit Islam, attack Afghanistan and Iraq, kill Saddam Hussein and steal the oil of Iraq.

Now those who support this monstrosity have shown their true colors.  Listen to their noise, their hatred, their sense of self-righteousness.  No where do they check their rhetoric or anti-Semitism, even when it is known that they were being filmed.  Keep your eyes open around the 3:55 mark (Hat Tip to Israel Matzav)



For the record:  The majority of those you have just seen where bussed in from other cities.  It seems that the majority of New Yorkers are AGAINST this Mosque being built at Ground Zero!!

Now I ask you.  Who are the real racists?  The ones opposing the proposed Mosque or the supporters who blame 9/11 and now this ground swell of opposition on the Jews?

AP Advisory to Reporters: Call it the NYC Mosque not the Ground Zero Mosque

AP staff and reporters received an order "advisory" today telling them to cut out the "Ground Zero mosque" rhetoric and refer to it as the "NYC Mosque," or "New York City mosque." It all depends on what the meaning of "is" is - or what they think they can make the public believe "is" is.

The AP has been trying to quash the idea that the mosque is considered the Ground Zero mosque. Whatever they were doing didn't work, so they're trying it again. They are attempting to shape the story, rather than represent the story, as usual. Just look at this and how they hope to manipulate opinions.

Here is some guidance on covering the NYC mosque story, with assists from Chad Roedemeier in the NYC bureau and Terry Hunt in Washington:

1. We should continue to avoid the phrase "ground zero mosque" or "mosque at ground zero" on all platforms. (We’ve very rarely used this wording, except in slugs, though we sometimes see other news sources using the term.) The site of the proposed Islamic center and mosque is not at ground zero, but two blocks away in a busy commercial area. We should continue to say it’s “near” ground zero, or two blocks away.

WE WILL CHANGE OUR SLUG ON THIS STORY LATER TODAY from “BC-Ground Zero Mosque” to “BC-NYC Mosque.”

In short headlines, some ways to refer to the project include:

_ mosque 2 blocks from WTC site

_ Muslim (or Islamic) center near WTC site

_ mosque near ground zero

_ mosque near WTC site

We can refer to the project as a mosque, or as a proposed Islamic center that includes a mosque.

It may be useful in some stories to note that Muslim prayer services have been held since 2009 in the building that the new project will replace. The proposal is to create a new, larger Islamic community center that would include a mosque, a swimming pool, gym, auditorium and other facilities.

The Washington Times said it is laughable to think the mosque will not be associated with Ground Zero, because once it is built, and maybe before, Muslims will tout it's Ground Zero location and 9/11. Read the entire article here.

I remember clearly one of the most disgraceful things I've ever heard are the words "Senator" in front of Al Franken's name.  Once more I'll ask, what in the heck is going on the good people in Minnesota? Nancy Pelosi is so out of touch with America that she can't believe we will not protest this abhorrent idea of this victory mosque without someone paying for it. She believes the protest is political and calls building it or not is an "urban development" decision.

"There is no question there is a concerted effort to make this a political issue by some. And I join those who have called for looking into how is this opposition to the mosque being funded," she said. "How is this being ginned up that here we are talking about Treasure Island, something we've been working on for decades, something of great interest to our community as we go forward to an election about the future of our country and two of the first three questions are about a zoning issue in New York City." 

Calls to investigate the funding for those proposing $100 million "Cordoba House" have fallen on deaf ears, though, as New York's Mayor Mike Bloomberg has described such an investigation as "un-American."

Note that Mayor Bloomberg said investigating where the money to build the mosque comes from is "unAmerican," but it is apparently not "unAmerican" to poke around in the American grassroots dislike of this victory trophy mosque.

Shariah Finance - Jihad for Money: Video Transcript

I recently had a conversation with my brothers about Shariah Finance. I realized that I did not remember all that I knew about the subject, and it was time for a refresher. I went back to a previous post, the last half of which is about our U.S. Treasury supporting Shariah Compliant Finance, through the Harvard Law School's Project on Islamic Finance leadership. A part of that post included the video below, with the transcription of the video first.

This is such an important subject. I see one of my family member's investments held in an institution offering Shariah Financing, and one of the holdings is in a Shariah compliant fund shown below.

Hi, I'm Joy Brighton. As a former Wall Street trader, investment professor, a Democrat, and an American concerned for my country and way of life, I'm here to break the silence and tell you about more greed and negligence on Wall Street and in Washington. While you and the government focuses on the subprime mortgage collapse, there is another financial crisis brewing. The same disastrous formula - Wall Street and their lawyers are focusing on profits and not enough on risk, and Washington is paying little attention to what is going on.

It's called Shariah Islamic Finance, the newest, fastest growing financial market in the world, and oh yes, Wall Street is on board bigtime. So you ask what is Shariah Finance? Though Wall Street is focused on the money side of Shariah Finance, Shariah Law is the reason this market exists; Shariah Islamic Law, comprised of rules like Muslim women are the property of men, "polygamy, forced child marriages, death to homosexuals and the obligation to wage holy war or jihad against infidels.

There are rules for infidels like you and me. Either we convert to Islam, pay a protection tax or we are killed. Who practices such inhumane law? The governments of Saudi Arabia, Iran, Sudan, and radicals like the Taliban, and Al-Qaeda.

How did Shariah Finance become acceptable in the West? In the spirit of multiculturalism, political correctness, and greed gone way overboard, Wall Street has bought in to a multi-million dollar advertising campaign coming from the Middle East. We are being told that "quote, Muslims have religious banking requirements and if you create investments accord to Shariah Law, 1.2 billion Muslims, loaded with oil money, will beat a path to Wall Street. However, the majority of moderate Muslims worldwide, do not want anything to do with Shariah Law, or Shariah Finance.

Everyday Muslim leaders are warning about the dangers of Shariah Finance.

There is the Muslim Canadian Congress, American Islamic Forum for Democracy,  Muslims Against Shariah and many other Muslim moderates in the West, but no one is listening. You see, Shariah banking was created by Sheiks like al-Qaradawi, a terrorist banned from entering the U.S. and Britain. Yet as I speak, al-Qardawi says:

"I like to call it jihad with money because God has ordered us to fight our enemies with our lives and our money. ~ Sheik Yousuf al-Qardawi

The danger of Shariah Finance is not only that it is welcoming Shariah Law into our society, but a percentage of this money must go to Islamic charities. The problem is that since September 11th, twenty-seven Islamic charities have been identified by the U.S. government as funders of terrorism. Yes, America needs investment dollars, but are we willing to trade national security for it? There are ways to accept oil money into our economy, and protect our democracy without opening ourselves up to Shariah Law.

New evidence shows that al-Qaeda financed 9/11/01 attacks with funds received from Shariah Financing. Let me tell you what Wall Street is doing: First, they are marketing Shariah investment as the hot new product for all American pension funds insurance companies and corporations; Second, they are hiring religious sheiks to sit on advisory boards overseeing where and how to invest dollars to comply with Shariah Law. This is giving Muslim sheiks a seat of power at corporate headquarters all over America. In essence, Wall Street is welcoming Islamic Law into our banking system.

What is Wall Street not doing? First, Wall Street is not disclosing the connection between Shariah Law, the Taliban al-Qaeda and Iran. Second, Wall Street is not telling customers of the jihadi background of the Shariah experts they are hiring.

Many of your are customers of these financial institutions that are offering Shariah bonds, mutual funds, hedge funds, and insurance as legitimate and ethical.

What is driving the Shariah banking craze? Money and lots of it. The Middle East takes in over $1 trillion a year in oil profits. This translates to billions of dollars lining the pockets of investment banks, law firms, insurance companies and consultants. Today lawyers and consulting firms are the key drivers of the Shariah banking craze. In fact, Harvard Law School just hosted their 8th Annual Islamic Banking Conference, where these firms learn that this market is very ethical and culturally important. 

My colleagues were there. No one explained what Shariah Law is, it's link to terrorism and human rights abuses. Harvard Law is even teaching the U.S. Treasury about the opportunity of Islamic banking. I've had hedge fund managers and advisers to sovereign (inaudible) and bank CEOs say "if I don't do this deal, someone else will.  Make it illegal and I'll stop doing it."

 Maybe this all sounds crazy, but no more crazy than September 11th would have sounded on September 10th. No more crazy than our government needing to bailout our economy to the tune of $700 billion and the disasters at Bear Stearns, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Lehman Brothers.

You must wonder: Isn't someone telling the government about this? Yes we have. Over the past year my colleagues have sat down with top officials at the Security and Exchange Commissions, US Treasury, Attorney Generals offices, aides to Pres Bush and CEOs of banks.

We have provided them with detailed documentation. The response from the Treasury Department:

"I don't know what Shariah Law is, but it can't possibly be what you say it is." 

Another senior Treasury official said:

"We are not responsible for disclosure or transparency." 

The SEC said:

 "Wall Street is disclosing. They are saying that these religious investments can't invest in alcohol or pork." 

So let me ask you, how would you react if your pension fund invested in an ethical, no alcohol mutual fund, and then you discover that there is a relationship between your investment and terrorists killing U.S. soldiers and civilians.

In my opinion, that is securities and consumer fraud. We are selling our soul and our security for money. We have no time to waste. We the people must rise up and stop this.

I was visiting at Obi's Sister and found a link to PJTV and a video by Bill Whittle with significant thoughts about Ground Zero and other times in our past when we have failed to heed the warning signs and protect our country. Whittle delivers this video essay with precision. It is filled with facts and observations to use as we combat the Government's Tolerance Squad. Please watch it and pass it on. Ramzi al Shbibh Glamor Shots

Very high-quality photos surfaced of 9/11 mastermind Ramzi bin al-Shibh. They have the look of carefully groomed and positioned 'glamor shots,' somewhat like I had made of my Mom and me for Mother's Day one year. The story is that the International Red Cross took the photos to send home to the folks. Interesting that our donations to the Red Cross would go to pay for this absurdity. A Polaroid would have worked just fine, and yes Polaroids are still in production.


When our men are captured, we get a headshot - the head separated from the body. Surely these glamor shots must have bothered the soul of someone in the International Red Cross, who says the photos are now the property of the families (at the expense of the good people around the world).

We are told there photos of the subject looking very healthy, at peace, praying, smiling, holding the Koran - no signs of torture.

Update 8-17-10: Additional photos have been released. It's comforting to know that the bin al-Shibh family feels much better now. Has this been done for everyone at Gitmo? Inquiring minds want to know.
