Bob Basso's broken common bond is his new video portraying the common sense of Thomas Paine. The common sense of the common bond and the rule of law is urging us to preserve our common bonds - common bond between all Americans. It deals with racism,  illegal immigration, and the "enemy without.

I rate the message in this video on par with the first two - meaning excellent.

A Bob Basso "Thomas Paine" reenactment, which appeared to be Basso's latest installment, seems to have disappeared from the internet. UPDATE: Found the video, thanks to ChicagoRay. I'm adding it here as well as to the original post. The mystery remains: why did Basso, according to The Jerry Doyle Show, cancel an interview with Doyle because he had been asked to visit the White House?

The simple background before the mystery begins is that The Jerry Doyle show reported that Bob Basso canceled an interview with the show because Basso has been asked to come to the White House to discuss Basso's Thomas Paine videos. From there, the mystery begins. Since that time, no one has heard much from Bob Basso with the exception of a new Thomas Paine video which has now disappeared from the web (see UPDATE above). In that video, Basso speaking as Thomas Paine said he was not asked to come to the White House. Even though the video is not missing, there's more to wonder about. From here, I'm sending you to Zapem's Blog for more information. This is a knarly web. For the record, Zapem's Blog seemed a tad irritated that other bloggers quoted them. I'm linking to my previous posts on the "White House summoms." I have not quoted or referred to Zapem - ever. I can only conjecture about the truth, and this isn't something to spend a lot of time on until Bob Basso decides to clear-up the mystery. One of two two things appears to have happened:

1) Basso completely made-up the story of being contacted by the White House or 2) Basso was contacted by White House and the result of that contact is rendering him mute.

If No. 2 is correct, then maybe we should be talking about it. Keep in mind that the latest Basso video (now missing) stated quickly, then did not elaborate, that the White House visit did not happen (paraphrased). As I said, pure conjecture on my part. This is so irritating. Remember when a radio station said that Bob Basso, the actor had been summoned to the White House - and supposedly to a White House irritated at the content of Basso's Thomas Paine videos? Below is the latest video and it solves the mystery of the White House summons...well, kinda sorta.

Bob Basso has released his third video, On to Washington. Basso's portrayal of pamphleteer, Thomas Paine, is stirring and invigorating, as has been the case in the previous two videos. View all three videos below. This time, Thomas Paine, in his three-corner hat, champions Americans for the recent tea parties, but he doesn't stop there. This ionic character cautions that American citizens are at a time and place to make a real difference, and one way to make that difference happen, is to march on to Washington, D.C. In fact, he is calling for a million man March on our Nation's capitol. Among the three videos, No. 2 is my favorite, perhaps because the focus is on President Obama's stimulus package. Paine reminds us that, we the people, are the only stimulus we need. The first video is incredible. I'll never forget it. Holding Congress responsible is the theme. America is waiting to hear what the Obama White House had to say about Bob Basso's newest portrayal of Thomas Paine. If the rumor is true, Mr. Basso was summoned to the White House to explain the "disturbing video." We don't know know for certain if Mr. Basso was called to the White House and, for certain we do know if the White House thinks Basso's videos are, indeed, disturbing. Stay tuned. White House Summons Bob Basso: Thomas Paine Summoned to White House?

I assume the report that actor Bob Basso, who portrays Thomas Paine so brilliantly, really has been "summoned" to the White House. What I'm not so clear about is the report that he was "summoned" there, as WND daily says: "to discuss the disturbing nature of the videos." They are awaiting confirmation of the meeting, so stay tuned. If you haven't seen this "disturbing" video, you can view it below. If this report is true, and the ominous "summons" puts Bob Basso in a bullseye for censorship, then we'd better move those tea parties up to, well, maybe tomorrow. You know, it would take a lot for me to believe that the White House might want to "discourage" (strong-arm) an amazing work like this one - but, today, I realize that this is the Barack Obama administration and our freedom of free speech is in peril.
