Rush Limbaugh Christine O'Donnell: No Establishment or Separation of Church and State

The First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution is in the spotlight all across the Nation today. Christine O'Donnell holds it and beams it square in the face of political Liberal ignorance. This full segment video of Rush Limbaugh explaining why Christine O'Donnell is right, as she debates Chris Coons in their campaign for the previous Senate seat held by Joe Biden, is a concise explanation of why Separation of Church and State is a myth. Be sure to listen at about 9 minutes-in as Rush quotes Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito. See the video below.

Christine O'Donnell

Many have unwittingly accepted the Liberal position that the First Amendment is about Separation of Church and State, rather than the prohibition of Congress to establish religion. A few years ago, I had this same conversation with someone near and dear to me. Proclaiming Separation of Church and State, I explained to him much of what Rush goes through in this video. After listening, seemingly intently, he said "well, that's not the way people think of it."

The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Derek Fenton Koran Burner Fired

Derek Fenton burned pages of the Koran outside the old Burlington Coat Factory location of the proposed Ground Zero mosque. Fenton was fired by the New Jersey Transit, where he has worked for the last eleven years. Please try to vote in the NYDaily News poll below. Conservatives are not winning.

Derek Fenton Koran Burner

Fenton was "ushered" from the Mosque protesters by the police for questioning but was not charged.

He said, 'This is America,'and he wanted to stand up for it, in a Tea Party kind of way," a police source said.
Another police source said Fenton described himself as a "loyal American" exercising his "right to protest."
Several neighbors in Fenton's town stood up for his right to express himself with flames.
"Good for him for burning the Koran," neighbor Jacqui Marquez, 40, said.
"Everybody's entitled to their opinion ... by firing him, they're sending a message that there's no freedom of speech. They're completely wrong for doing this."
"He's a family man," neighbor Randy McConnell, 43, said.
"He loves his kids and he loves trains. I don't agree with what he did, but he shouldn't lose his job over it. That's his right."
If Fenton was fired for burning the Koran while off-duty, his First Amendment rights probably were violated, Chris Dunn of the New York Civil Liberties Union said.
"The Supreme Court has recognized a constitutional right to burn the flag. As reprehensible as it may be, burning the Koran would be protected as well."
NYDailyNews poll - please visit and voice your outrage that a man can lose his job for expressing his First Amendment rights. Vote in Fanning the Flames. Tell the NJTransit you don't give a fig for Islam's tender sensibilities.

Dove Koran Burning Back On: Koran Burning Protestor Dead in Afghanistan

Dove's Pastor Jones says his Koran-burning event is back on. A Muslim man in Afghanistan was shot dead by Nato troops during a protest of the U.S. Koran-burning, which has not yet happened.

Terry Jones - Koran-Burning Back On

Thousands poured into the streets from mosques, after prayers, with as many as many as 10,000, hurling rocks. Yeah, well, we haven't burned any Korans so far, but these moderate, mosque-going Muslims got off their knees after prayer and attacked anyway. Were any of them praying for peace? Were any of them praying for peace for the U.S.? Were any of them praying for a peaceful countenance for their fellow extremists? Were any of them praying for the attraction of jihad to leave the Muslim communities world-wide? Were any of them praying for those who died on September 11, 2001? I don't think so.

In London thousands of people gathered at the Ahmadiyya Muslim mosque, in Morden, to hear Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the world head of the community, denounce the US pastor.
"Religious extremism, be it Christian extremism, Muslim extremism, or any other kind is never a true reflection of the religion" he said.
Demonstrations against the desecration of Islam's holy book prompted threats of attacks on US bases elsewhere in Afghanistan. Protests were held in Kabul and near the Pakistan border.
"If they do this, we will attack American bases and close the highway used by convoys supplying American troops," a cleric called Zahidullah told the Reuters news agency.
Pastor Terry Jones said yesterday he has cancelled the book burning, believing the Ground Zero mosque developers promised they would move the mosque. That turned out to be untrue, so now Jones, who apparently has protested the funerals of our Military with the vile Westboro Baptist Church, says he is rethinking the situation and for now, the burning is back on his calendar.

Speaking outside his Dove World Outreach Centre church in Gainesville, Jones said: "As of right now, we are not cancelling the event, but we are suspending it."
By the way, Jones has been dismissed from the board of a church he founded in Germany, not for the threat of burning Korans, but for "mistreating his followers." And they want no part of the Koran burning. This reminds me of Jim Jones of the People's Temple in Guyana who convinced more than 900 members of his church in exile to drink poisoned Kool-Aid, which they did, and they all died.

Anjem Choudary: Islam Religion of Submission Jihad - No Peace in Islam

Anjem Choudary, a born-in-Britain Muslim, living in London, admits that Islam is not a religion of peace...it is a religion of submission and jihad. Odd that we are in agreement with a Muslim leader. See the video below.

Anjem Choudary

It is an ideology that you struggle for and die for, says Chowdery. Terrorism analyst, Erick Stakelbeck, says there is "an ignorance" of Islam. This is profoundly true. We need to pray that our churches and our Congress understand this truth.

Take a look at this video of a 10-year-old being converted to Islam. One Western teenager standing behind the boy, laughing, as this takes place - no parents, no Western adults. The kid hasn't a clue, as Muslims off-camera cry-out in praise to something. Along with conversion, the video has Anjem Choudary explaining why Islam is not a religion of peace. Here's a quote from his website:
"It is he (Allah) who has sent his Messenger (saw) with guidance and religion of truth, in order for it t be dominant over all others ways of life, even though the Mushrikoon (disbelievers) dislike it." [EMQ 9.33]
Our American Congress must wake-up, sit-up and take notes, because the president will not. Those in Congress who understand the truth about Islam and it's purpose in the U.S. must start talking about it, loud and often.

Kirsta Branch in Tulsa: I Am America Video in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Krista Branch is a Bixbyite. Bixby is a charming town just on the outskirts of the city of Tulsa, next door to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Bixby is the home of the best fresh produce in the area, beautiful loamy black soil that will grow anything, some lovely river views and the best hamburger in the whole area, according to my mother (The Brothers Bistro). I have yet to try it, but I plan to. See the video below.

Krista Branch

I'm late putting up Krista's I am America video, but I really like this one because it has the lyrics, and of course, because it is filmed in Tulsa, Oklahoma, one of the prettiest cities in the U.S. See the first video below.

Krista's husband, Michael,  wrote the song, I am America. Hear it in Tulsa in the first video and the second video is Kristin and Michael on the 700 Club and an incredible story told on the 700 Club, of an emergency with their baby daughter, Kenna Beth. She has a new song out, Remember Who I Am, available on her website and from iTunes.

Priests Filmed at Gay Clubs Having Sex by Silvio Berlusconi Panorama Magazine

Obviously, these guys want to be defrocked. Gay Catholic priests were filmed by an undercover reporter using hidden cameras in gay clubs actually having sex. Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi owns a magazine, if you can believe that - Panorama, which in a two week investigation, filmed three priests at gay nightspots.

Catholic Priests at Vatican

Panorama has released a statement saying the videos will be released. On priest named "Carlo" actually "put on his cassock to have sex with the reporter's gay accomplice, adding all of which was filmed by the hidden camera:"
The article describes how the reporter was assisted by a gay 'accomplice' as they 'gate-crashed the wild nights of a number of priests in Rome who live a surprising double-life.'
In it's preview, Panorama added: 'By day they are regular priests, complete with dog collar, but, at night it's off with the cassock as they take their place as perfectly integrated members of the Italian capital's gay scene.'
Panorama described its investigation as 'deeply disturbing' as it detailed how three priests - two Italians and a Frenchman - happily took part in gay events and had casual sex.
Neither the Italian Bishops Conference or the Vatican has issued a statement.

Jeremiah Wright's Peaceful Ministry

On one of my Jeremiah Wright posts, a reader has asked if I am aware that "Rev. Wright created the largest congregation in a predominately white denomination 94%+, the United Church of Christ? Trinity UCC's association with the denomination is totally voluntary, as is the 100s of thousands of dollars the congregation donates to support the denomination?"

Jeremiah Wright

If I understand the question correctly, he is saying that former Trinity United Church of Christ, when pastored by Jeremiah Wright, is a part of a mostly white denomination, the United Church of Christ. I fail to see any Christian denomination by the color of its majority body. An exception might be the African Methodist Episcopal. Perhaps my reader is trying to tell me that Wright is mainstream as the pastor of a huge body of churches. And perhaps my reader is right, as United Church of Christ is a part of the far-left and dangerous National Council of Churches.

To me it seems Wright is getting closer and closer to a call for violence, although the reader says he has listened to many of Wright's speeches and sermons and said Wright has never advocated violence. Wright is quoted in the New York Post saying Martin Luther King was wrong to advocate for non-violence. Reader is doubtful of that quote. When I listen to Wright, time after time, and knowing that he embraces and defends Black Liberation Theology (BLT), consider this quote by James H. Cone, the founder of BLT.
James H. Cone: If God is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill gods who do not belong to the black community. Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy.
What we need is the diving love as expressed in black Power, which is the power of Black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by an means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love.
Cone is an ordained minister of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. Black Liberation Theology is said to combine some Christianity with Black Power. I believe the movement is growing closer to The New Black Panthers with heavy Islamic influences.  I ask if it is possible we are heading for another Black Power movement? Pick any YouTube New Black Panther video and tell me how much of a Christian influence lingers. Also consider Wright's Hamas sympathies - a terrorist organization.

If Wright is not advocating for violence, he surely has to know that many, many young black men are listening to him, are converting to Islam, and if he has any authority at all among blacks, he is fueling the hate that so often turns to violence.

For those wanting to criticize me for pointing out Wright's racism, his breathtaking lack of patriotism damning America, deriding being born in "the oven of America," praising socialism, and little or no respect for whites, okay, but as I said to my reader, Wright's own words represent who he is. After all, to quote Barack Obama, "words matter."

Jeremiah Wright Martin Luther King was Wrong: Wright says Blacks Born in the Oven of America

Jeremiah Wright taught a five day course at the Chicago Theological Seminary last week, on the grounds of Chicago University. He had a lot to say to his small class of no more than 20 "older" African-American women who could afford to pay the $300 if not needed for college credit, or $1000+ for credit. Wright claims that Martin Luther King was wrong to advocate for non-violence for blacks "born in the oven of America." Who would pay the man to praise this country? Anyone?

Barack Obama with Jeremiah Wright

Forty-two years after the death of Martin Luther King, I think Wright is calling for violence against Whites.

From the New York Post here are some of the more disgusting quotes, although his "God d**n America" can't be topped for the worst of his outrages, and s you read them, remember that Barack Obama and Michelle sat in this church for 20 years:
We probably have more African-Americans who've been brainwashed than we have South Africans who've been brainwashed, he said, and seemed to allude to President Obama twice: "Unfortunately, I got in trouble with a fella for saying this...All your commentaries are written by oppressors." At the mention of nation of Islam head Louis Farrakhan - whom Obama disavowed during the campaign - black leaders "go cutting' and duckin,' he said.
"You are not now, nor have you ever been, nor will you ever be a brother to white folk," he said. "And if you do not realize that, you are in serious trouble."
The civil-rights movement," Wright said, "was never about racial equality. It was always about becoming white . . . to master what [they] do." Martin Luther King, he said, was misguided for advocating nonviolence among his people, "born in the oven of America."
"White folk done took this country"

Jeremiah Wright Home built in the oven of America

You probably remember that Trinity United Church of Christ (TUCC) built a million dollar home in a gated in the Odyssey Club neighborhood on a golf course. The New York Post has an interesting bit of info: before the $1M home, the Wrights lived in a two-story house in an affluent subdivision "surrounded by roadblocks: the line between rich and poor is literal. His former neighbors all say he kept to himself." NewsBusters' Noel Sheppard has more and  says no one besides the New York Post reported this incendiary event. Once more, who would pay this man to talk nice?

Mosab Hassan Yousef Homeland Security: Homeland Security to Deport Mosab Hassan Yousef

Mosab Hassan Yousef, known as The Son of Hamas, has been targeted by Homeland Security for deportation. Yousef is a Palestinian. His father is a Hamas leader. Mosab was an agent for Israel's Mossad for many years. In a strange turnaround in his life, Mosab was imprisoned in Israel for ten years, witnessed the torture of Hamas members by Hamas member and met a tourist who led him to convert from Islam to Christianity.

Mosab Hassan Yousef

Today, Mosab Yousef lives near San Diego. He is officially seeking asylum in the United States, but Homeland Security says he is a security threat (translated: he's a Muslim with the audacity to convert and...he supports Israel); DHS wants to send him back to Palestine where he will be put to death. Yousef will go before a San Diego judge on June 30th to determine his status in this country.

Mosab Yousef's life story is awe-inspiring, unless you have a Liberal viewpoint. Which begs the question: Who is behind the effort to send him home to certain death? Is CAIR lobbying Homeland Security? Is Hamas lobbying Muslim Congressmen Keith Ellison (D-MN) and Andre Carson (D-IN)? Are Ellison or Carson involved in this in any way? Is Syrian President Assad lobbying his ally, Nancy Pelosi? How about the powerful Dalia Mogahed, or Obama's good friend Louis Farrakahn and the "Fruits" of Islam? Or maybe Obama's good friend, drinking-buddy and Jew-hater, Rashid Khalid?

On the other hand, maybe it's our dhimmi U.S. State Department or more simply, Eric Holder in our Muslim-infected Department of Justice.

This young man needs our prayers, our telephone calls, our faxes, our emails. In short, we need to lobby for his life. Read Mosab's story here. Karen has more.

Noahs Ark Found 13,000' on Mt. Ararat in Turkey? The Latest Noah's Ark Discovery

We've seen numerous reports in the past that the Bible's Noah's Ark was found in Turkey. There is a new report out that a site believed to be the famous Noah's Ark has been found 13,000' up Mt. Ararat in Turkey. This is the highest point reported for the Ark sighting.

Noah's Ark by Edward Hicks

Chinese and Turkish "evangelical" explorers claim they have found the wooden remains, according to this report.
...carbon dating proves the relics are 4,800 years old -- around the same time the ark was said to be afloat....Local Turkish officials will ask the central government in Ankara to apply for UNESCO World Heritage status so the site can be protected while a major archeological dig is conducted.
This from NewYork Daily News:
"It's not 100% that it is Noah's Ark, but we think it is 99l9% that this is it," Yeung Wing-cheung, a Hong Kong documentary filmmaker, told AFP.
Wing-Cheung, a member of the 15-member team from Noah's Ark Ministries International, said the structure in which they got the wood had several compartments that wer possibly used to store animals.

Scientology Declines: Paul Haggis Resigns: Greta is Scientologist? Scientologists Tom Katie Cruise "Audit" for New Baby

Chris and Christie Colbran signed a staffer contract with Scientology for one billion years, because Scientologists are "immortal." Thirteen years later, they escaped the clutches of the organization but not without consequences, including their marriage, the loss of parents, and differing beliefs in the basic tenents of Scientology. See Greta van Susteren's name appear below. See a Tom Cruise video on Scientology below.

Scientology

Tom Cruise and John Travolta are high-profile members of the "church," but some of their ranks are beginning to defect. Oscar winning screenwriter for movies "Million Dollar Baby," and "Crash," Paul Haggis, had his "resignation letter" leaked, after 35 years with the faith.

Haggis was most out-raged that the Scientology church in San Diego supported Prop. 8, which Haggis said was "hate-filled legislation...taking away the civil rights of gay and lesbian citizens...." He accused the church of adopting the "worst elements of the Christian Right."

But Haggis had other objections. His in-laws were once members of Scientology. When they "resigned" the church demanded that his wife cut them out of their lives, and no longer allow the grandparents to see their grandchildren. She did so. Haggis pointed out that his in-laws were loving people, and while his wife refused to see them, he did not. First problem, how emotionally insecure do you have to be to let a "church" lead you to that place.

Indeed, the letter from Haggis says after reading the many accusations coming out from top-level executives of the church, he:
"was left feeling outraged, and frankly, more than a little stupid."
He accuses the "church" of leaking "confessionals" to press of high-ranking members who have leveled accusations and fled Scientology, in order to embarrass them.
A priest would go to jail before revealing secrets from the confessional, no matter what the cost to himself or his church. That’s the kind of integrity I thought we had, but obviously the standard in this church is far lower...you so easily broke a sacred vow of trust with your parishioners.
How dare you use private information in order to label someone an “adulteress?” You took Amy Scobee’s most intimate admissions about her sexual life and passed them onto the press and then smeared them all over the pages your newsletter! I do not know the woman, but no matter what she said or did, this is the woman who joined the Sea Org at 16!
In the end, Haggis says endorsing Prop 8 was the greatest instigator of his resignation.

A former Scientologist, Mark Headley, wrote a book released December 2009, about his experiences with Scientology and Tom Cruise, titled Blown for Good: Behind the Iron Curtain of Scientology:"
"You do a lot of things with a book and a bottle. It's known as the book-and-bottle routine." Cruise, he says, would instruct Headley to speak to a book, telling it to stand up, or to sit down, or otherwise to move somewhere.
"You do the same with the bottle. You talk to it. You do it with an ashtray too," he says. "You tell the ashtray, 'Sit in that chair.' Then you actually go over and put the ashtray on the chair. Then you tell the ashtray, 'Thank you.' Then you do the same thing with the bottle, and the book. And you do this for hours and hours."
Celebritology shares this vision:
"Katie, sit down. Katie, stand up."
March 2, 2010 reports that Katie Holmes Cruise is undergoing "Scientology auditing" in preparation to have another baby. A few other alleged celebrity Scientologists are Kirstie Alley, Jenna Elfman, Isaac Hayes, Chaka Khan, Juliette Lewis, Jason Lee, Bijou Phillips, Giovanni Ribisi, Priscilla Presley, Lisa Marie Presley, Travolta's wife, Kelly Preston, Elisabeth Moss, Sofia Milos, Marisol Nichols, Leah Remini, AND OMgosh, Greta van Susteren! Can this be true? Remember, of all these, I said, are "allegedly" Scientologists. Celebrities said to once be Scientologists, but are not longer: Nicole Kidman, Courtney Love, Charles Manson, Demi Moore, Van Morrison, Mimi Rogers, Sharon Stone, and  the deceased Patrick Swayze and Christopher Reeve.

Christie King Colbran (33) had completed the "Purification Rundown," a procedure of vitamins and sauna-sitting, by the age of 10. At age 16, she was recruited into the Sea Org arm of Scientology. She and her husband, Chris, were married in a Scientology center. Chris Colbran said he saw and participated in physical abuse:
...he saw an officer hit a subordinate, and soon found that the atmosphere of supervision through intimidation was affecting him. He acknowledges that he pushed a 17-year-old staff member against a wall and yelled at his wife, who was his deputy.
Scientology photo-ops at Centers around the world were filled with employees to make the gatherings look larger, Chris said. In South Africa "parishioners took their maids and gardeners to church."
“It was all built on lies,” Mr. Collbran said. “We’re working 16 hours a day trying to save the planet, and the church is shrinking.”
In the end, Mr. Colbran was sent from Johannesburg to Los Angels to think about his desire to leave the church. Christie was not allowed to leave Johannesburg and their letters were intercepted. She finally made it to Los Angeles, but still the couple were allowed to see each other. The Colbran's were eager to go through the "church's" official exit program. Without doing so, there were consequences:
...they would be declared “suppressive persons” — antisocial enemies of Scientology. They would lose the possibility of living for eternity. Their parents, siblings and friends who are Scientologists would have to disconnect completely from them, or risk being declared suppressive themselves.
“You’re in fear,” Mr. Collbran said. “You’re so into it, it’s everything you know: your family, your eternity.”
The "church" routinely hands defecting members huge bills for counseling and auditing. The Colbran's bill was $90,000. Today, however, former members are beginning to bill the "church" for "back wages."

Chris and Christie somehow "remain in good standing" with Scientology, but at the same time are considered "suppressive persons." Christie's parents are Scientologists and no longer speak to her or see their grandchild. Mrs. Colbran still believes in the teachings of Scientology. Her husband does not. The two are divorcing. In the video below, listen to Tom Cruise's laugh. Is that creepy or what?

Pelosi Lies About Abortion: Catholic Bishops Agree Pelosi Lies

We've never known Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi to dodge a lie if she can help it. At last week's health care summit she objected to Rep. John Boehner's statement that the health care bill would end 30 years of prohibition against taxpayer funding of abortion. As members of her own Party insist abortion-funding is in legislation, and Catholic Bishops agree, Pelosi faced the Nation and told a whopper.

Nancy Pelosi

The Speaker said Boehner was "misleading" the country. It's time for a public smackdown between the two, because either Boehner or Pelosi are lying. The Catholic church points the finger directly at the Speaker:
[PELOSI] “I think it’s really important to note, though, and I want the record to show, because two statements were made here that were not factual in relationship to these bills,' Pelosi claimed.
"My colleague, Leader Boehner, the law of the land is there is no public funding of abortion and there is no public funding of abortion in these bills and I don't want our listeners or viewers to get the wrong impression from what you said," Pelosi asserted.
Just as The Speaker continues to insist that the CIA lied about her "interrogation briefings, she can't decide whether to tell the truth - the Church isn't important - or continue the lies. In December 2009, Pelosi spoke her truth, saying "the free will" of women wanting abortions outweighs pro-life Catholic teachings. I'm not Catholic and I have only a little knowledge about how the Church handles their high-profile wayward strays - but can't help wondering if Pelosi is still receiving Sacraments. From Hot Air:
Here’s Canon 915, withholding communion from those “obstinately persevering in manifest grave sin.” The defense, presumably, is that participating in abortion might be a sin but merely supporting laws that legalize the practice doesn’t quite rise to that level.
In the original House bill the Stupak amendment removed any possibility of taxpayer-funded abortion, which allowed about 40 Democrats to support the bill. Their vote, contrary to the confidence the Speaker is showing,  may not be there for her the next time around.

Another report
from CNSNews quotes Pelosi, a Catholic, on Friday, February 23rd, saying she has spoken to "Catholic bishops" and she indicates that she has assured the Church there is no public funding for taking the life of a baby.
“Law prevents federal funding, and federal law prevents federal funding of abortion,” said Pelosi. “There is no federal funding of abortion in this bill. There’ll be no expansion or diminution of a woman’s right to choose and that does not happen in this bill, and we’re determined that we are going to pass health care reform.”
“This bill that passed the Senate does not have federal funding of abortion,” said Pelosi.

But the Church is not buying what the Speaker is pitching.

Richard Doerflinger, associate director for the U.S. Conference of Catholic bishops (USCCB) told CNSNews that the Senate bill and the President's proposal does allow taxpayers to pay for health care coverage that covers abortion. The Catholic church is supportive of health care, up to the inclusion of abortion funding. Read the Conference of Bishops 13-page document stating that the Senate bill does allow for government-funded abortion.

Douglas Johnson, the National Right to Life Committee said Pelosi has "just repeated the same deceptive claptrap...denial and deception."

Rep. Bart Stupak (D-MI) said the "Senate language is a departure from current law and is unacceptable."

Rep. Dennis Cardoza (D-CA), a member of the Blue Dog Coalition, says Obama's bill lacks anti-abortion language, and the bill does nothing to cut costs.

Echoing the Republican voices at the health care summit, some fiscally conservative Democrats are asking for smaller measures - a less ambitious bill, "take two or three or four issues on which everyone agrees and build on it," said Frank Kratovil (D-MD).  Rep. Altmire asks the question all of us are asking: why is Obama bothering?
Others, like Representative Jason Altmire, a Pennsylvania Democrat who also voted against the House bill, seem to wonder aloud why Mr. Obama is bothering. With so many Democrats feeling nervous about their past votes in favor of the health bill, Mr. Altmire said, he can imagine vote-switching in only one direction: from yes to no.
...And I know of a handful of yes votes who regret it and would relish the opportunity to put a no vote on the board so they could go back home and talk about that.”
Since these are not easy issues to explain, and since the President acknowledged the Nation's dismay at a 2400-page piece of legislation, which he likely knows no one can understand, Richard Foerflinger explains how we know that abortion is a part of the bill and proposal. Here are the important talking points:
While the Senate bill includes some language limiting the direct use of tax credits to subsidize abortion coverage, it still violates longstanding federal precedent on abortion funding in two ways.”
”First, the Senate’s abortion language limits only the use of tax credits for abortion in qualified health plans, not other funding in the bill,” he said.
...the Senate bill will indirectly fund abortion through community health centers, adding that the President Obama’s identical proposal on abortion funding will add more money to that cause.
“For example, the bill authorizes and appropriates $7 billion for services at community health centers (increased to $11 billion in the President’s new proposal),” said Doerflinger. “The Hyde amendment does not prevent direct use of these billions of dollars for elective abortions (because the funds are not provided through the appropriations bill governed by Hyde), nor does any provision in the Senate bill.”
“Second, the Senate’s language on tax credits still allows subsidies for overall health plans that cover elective abortions, against the policy of the Hyde amendment and other longstanding federal laws,” said Doerflinger.
“The bill requires each American purchasing such a plan to make a separate payment to the insurer every month, solely to pay for other people’s abortions,” he said. “This is an enormous imposition on the consciences of the millions of Americans who oppose abortion.”
We have not heard Barack Obama try to set the record straight for Nancy. He obviously has not called her to the White House and admonished her for lying to the people he leads. It's disgraceful, considering he clearly knows what these bills do and do not do - and he is the President, and he knows the deep emotion attached to taxpayer-funded abortion. How about admitting what is in the bill, and then taking the vote - and it is, what it is? The Democrat leadership is lying directly to the Nation.

WaPo Skews Joe Stack's Manifesto?

Clifton at Another Black Conservative catches WaPo's Jonathan Capehart doing some heavy-handed editing to Joseph Andrew Stack's suicide/rant/manifesto. Surprise, surprise, an omission here, an omission there, and a mad man's words just might make him appear to be a Tea Party enthusiast. And a  an unsuspecting reader might think Stack's politics were in line with Janet Napolitano's "far right wing extremists," like maybe, returning warriors and retired vets.

If you missed the big story of Joseph Andrew Stack flying his small plan into a 7-story office building in Austin, Texas this week, killing himself and one other, wounding many, while attempting to take down the IRS offices there, you can read that story here.

Here's what Jonathan Capehart said:

There's no information yet on whether he was involved in any anti-government groups or whether he was a lone wolf. But after reading his 34-paragraph screed, I am struck by how his alienation is similar to that we're hearing from the extreme elements of the Tea Party movement.
When you sit a a big important news desk, at an elite newspaper like the Washington Post, and you can't make the latest sensational story what you want it to be, what do you do? Well, maybe you leave out the inconvenient parts. That's what JonathanCapehart appears to have done in his reporting on the suicide pilot's last words.

Capehart kind/sorta covers himself by saying "here are excepts I was able to snag before the FBI took Stack's site down," but of course, the complete manifesto is all over the Internet. You can read it here. The text in green text below are quotes from Stack that Capehart omitted.

Stack seemed to be suicidal mainly because of the IRS. Everything led back to taxes. He was distressed that religious organizations get tax breaks not available to the individual taxpayer, and he called the Catholic Church "vulgar" and "corrupt," and he referred to "the monsters of organized religion," making a "mockery of people who earn an honest living." "The inquisition is still alive and well today in this country."

Stack railed about GM receiving government assistance, and Capehart printed that, but Stack's diatribe against health care was curiously omitted...because this is no Tea Party position:
Yet at the same time, the joke we call the American medical system, including the drug and insurance companies, are murdering tens of thousands of people a year and stealing from the corpses and victims they cripple, and this country’s leaders don’t see this as important as bailing out a few of their vile, rich cronies.  Yet, the political “representatives” (thieves, liars, and self-serving scumbags is far more accurate) have endless time to sit around for year after year and debate the state of the “terrible health care problem”.  It’s clear they see no crisis as long as the dead people don’t get in the way of their corporate profits rolling in.
Tea Partiers like their health insurance. They want government to stay the heck away from it until the critical issues can be fixed - like tort reform and buying private insurance in the open marketplace, or across state lines. Tea Partiers want to retain their choices and promote competition among private insurers - never government-directed insurers, and they want the lawsuit scams to stop for the good of physicians, hospitals and patients.

Capehart omits Stack's remarks on patriotism -  the "incredible stupidity of the American public; ...you know, all that "crap about their "freedom...." When was the last time you heard Tea Partiers characterize freedom as "crap?"

Capehart ignores that as an 18-year-old college student, Stack was broke...was living on peanut butter and bread (or Ritz crackers when I could afford to splurge). But most college students are broke, and by the time a student reaches his 50's, chances are it will be a fond memory, not a battlecry. At the time he was living off peanut butter and bread, Stack met an elderly widow, who's husband's pension was raided by management and unions. The widow ate "cat food" to survive! Stack decided at the tender age of 18 he would never trust "big business."

Tea Party afficianados don't hate big business, because they know from big business comes small business, the lifeblood of America, and they would likely wear their "broke" stories as a badge of honor.

Capehart skips over Stack's comments about having a new wife and "a boatload of undocumented income," which led to a newly hired, but dishonest accountant. Over and over, Stack talks about the government stealing from the middle class - but that is not a Tea Party position. Tea Partiers want everyone to pay their fair share and not one penny more - no matter how much you have, or do not have. Everyone should be vested in our country, and no one should be penalized because of what they have, or do not have.

Then Capehart skips over Stack's stark disdain of G.W. Bush:
The recent presidential puppet GW Bush and his cronies in their eight years certainly reinforced for all of us that this criticism rings equally true for all of the government.
And somewhere in this, Stack says "violence not only is the answer, it is the only answer." Again, not a Tea Party position, but it would be a position of CNN and the Huffington Post.

At the end of Stack's rant, he closed with these two quotes, both of which Capehart omitted.

The communist creed: From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.
The capitalist creed: From each according to his gullibility, to each according to his greed.
How can we ignore that the communist creed quoted by Stark sounds noble,  is intended to be a noble statement - but was left out of Capehart's analysis. Why? Because it is decidedly unAmerican, and decidedly unTeaParty-ish.

The capitalist "creed," however, accuses every American of gullibly serving up taxes to the tax masters, without knowing we are doing so, while others greedily feed out of our trough. Among those actually paying taxes, there is no gullibility, and that's why Tea Partiers want smaller government. But one thing you won't find among the general Tea Party population, is the mindset that violence is the only answer, including racking up a body count, his and those around him, or those who loved him, as the only way to make America set up and take notice. Both are a part of Stack's manifesto.

So what do you think? Could Capehart have actually not been able to "snag" enough of Stack's manifesto to point out the obvious, or did he just choose not to?  Visit Another Black Conservative and read his comments on Joseph Capehart's agenda.

White House Ushers Dalai Lama out the Trash Door

The Dalai Lama visits Obama at the White House and is unceremoniously ushered out the trash door.

President Obama apparently refused to be seen with the Tibetan spiritual leader. As McCain at RightPundits said: No photographers. No video. No reporters.

Lord Carey Islamic Immigration Warning: Former Archbishop of Canterbury Warns of Islamic Immigration

Lord Carey, a former Archbishop of Canterbury cautions against Islamic immigration policy in Britain. He does not want his country to be inhospitable, but he does want a friendly attitude toward the country's democratic values.

Carey's position is in direct opposition to the sitting Archbishop of Canterbury, who had the inconvenient thought, that perhaps the country should have some Sharia Law. Overnight, he was cut down to size, because his own church was having none of that, and while some in Parliament thought it might be okay, the huge majority was appalled.

It is striking that this has come out at this time. A new US intelligence report says that with Britain's heavily Muslim population, with a heavily extremist attitude, the country has become a threat to US national security. Afterall, Britain is just a short sprint across the pond - just a stepping stone away from the country that Islam wants to conqueur and dominate more than any other - the United States of America.

Lord Cary, in a Times of London op-ed on January 7th, strangely said "while we don't expect groups to assimilate," we must expect some willingness to integrate. Before getting to his support of controlling Muslim immigration, I'll offer my opinion that we should expect immigrants to assimilate. Why else do they come? They bring their children, but do not want them to partake in the American dream? Why...because you want the American dream to be the Koranic dream. It's dangerous not to expect Muslims to integrate, but it is ignorant to think that they will.

But then, Lord Carey pointed out that groups of migrants in England are ambivalent about "the monarchy, Parliament, the judiciary, the church of England, and a free press:"

Carey lamented that “some groups of migrants” are “ambivalent about or even hostile to such institutions” because they embody the Britain’s “liberal democratic values.”  He specifically exampled a proposed antiwar Islamist march as evidence of the dangers that “extremists pose to British society.”...
The antiwar march mentioned above was not allowed to happen, but an early march did go forward and British troops returning from Iraq were protested during a welcome home march. If you've seen that video, you know how disgraceful these protesters were, and why the British people were furious about their Muslim brothers interlopers, who so disdain the West.

More from Lord Carey:
“It is my firm view that our society owes more to our Christian heritage than it realizes and to overlook this inheritance of faith will lead to the watering down of the very values of tolerance, openness, inclusion and democracy that we claim are central to all we stand for,” Carey warned.
In his radio interview, he rejected any specific immigration policy against “non-Christian populations,” which would violate Britain’s “generous spirit.”   But he did urge immigration policies that favored immigrants who affirm British “values.”
The following commentary is from Mark Tooley, the president of the Institute on Religion and Democracy published in FrontPageMagazine:
As in America, where left-leaning religious elites deride any concerns about immigration as xenophobic, Carey has been widely lambasted in Britain.  And he stands virtually alone as a senior churchman public urging more careful immigration, with an eye to Islam’s potentially dangerous growth.

In a recent BBC radio broadcast, Carey shared his desire for a “country that values its Christian heritage and democratic standards and all that this country has fought over.”  He also asserted that Britain needs a “tougher church” as “Christians are so very often so soft” and “allow other people to walk over us” because “we don’t want to upset other people.”

Britain’s retired senior archbishop declared Christians must be “more outspoken.”   The Christian and Jewish idea to ‘welcome the stranger” must be affirmed, Carey said.  But uncontrolled immigration could allow Britain to be “destabilized” and the creation of “ghettoes.”
I watched Judge Andrew Napolitano's series of five videos today, on the Constitution and Freedom. The Judge focused on the executive branch's responsibility to keep America free - not safe, but free. Mark Tooley  ended his article with these words, and when he says "safeguard society," I believe he is speaking of freedom:
Traditional Religious Left voices simplistically distill immigration law as simply a question of “hospitality.”   Lord Carey, with more nuance than his ostensibly more sophisticated critics, seems to understand civil law’s supreme obligation to safeguard society.

Malaysian Christians Banned from Saying Allah

In Malaysia, Christians use the word Allah to refer to the almighty God. Muslims there are offended, and now Christians will be prosecuted for doing so under a ruling known as the Malay Muslim supremacy. See a video below.

The dispute came out in the open after Malaysia's internal security ministry ruled recently the term Allah -- long used by Christians in Malaysia to refer to God -- could no longer be used by non-Muslims.

"The term Allah was used to refer to God by Arabic-speaking Christians before Arabic-speaking Muslims existed," he said.
This poses a huge problem for the Catholic Weekly newspaper, which will lose its publishing permit if it continues to print the word Allah. The publisher has filed a lawsuit "challenging the state order."

The Evangelical Church of Borneo in the state of Sabah, Malaysia has been ordered to stop importing Christian books that contain the word Allah. They have also filed a lawsuit, saying that "The Christian usage of the word Allah predates Islam."

The Malaysia Insider quotes "Hadi" who as a spokesman for PAS (sorry, I cannot identify Hadi or PAS) said PAS is backing the use of Catholics using Allah, and said "it is consistent with he federal Constitution and Islamic principles." Hadi warned, though that the "word Allah should not be abused to confuse the public."
“PAS would like to state that based on Islamic principles, the use of the word Allah by the people of the Abrahamic faiths such as Christianity and Judaism, is acceptable,” said Hadi
This article also says that, "last week the High Court ruled that the Catholic church had a constitutional right to publish the word "Allah in the Bahasa Malaysia edition of its Herald newspaper." I do not know how that fits with the ban or the lawsuits mentioned above.

Readers, if you are of child-bearing age, are you doing your part? Muslims are out-breeding us all over the world. Babies...babies and more babies. That's how they plan to take over the U.S. and every non-Muslim country in the world. The U.S. is on the cusp of losing the battle based on our demographics, which have been slightly salvaged due to the Hispanic birth rate - but only slightly. See that video below, and tuck into your consciousness what is going on in Malaysia today.

A Bethlehem Christmas Story Destroyed by Israel?

I guess I haven't been paying attention the past few years. I didn't know that Israel has destroyed life for Christians in the town of Bethlehem to the point that Christians have left in a "massive flight."

Bethlehem - Manger Square

WorldNetDaily has this story, and I found it via AmerIsrael. According to WND's Aaron Klein, Reuters, the GuardianUK and others, are in the habit of reporting, each year at this time, the terrible treatment of Christians by Jews in Bethlehem. If you do not have time to read the portions below, or time to go directly to WND to read the entire piece, read the three paragraphs in bold text below, and you will get the idea.
TEL AVIV – Like clockwork, every year at this time reporters file misleading and, in some cases, outright false reports about the state of Christmas in Bethlehem [blaming Israel for the demise of the Christian population].

They claim Israeli policies have wreaked havoc on the city's economy and that Israel is responsible for the massive flight of Christians from Bethlehem. Yet the news media completely ignore Muslim intimidation and get their facts wrong on documented history and the true state of affairs in this ancient town.

A widely circulated Reuters article, for example, laments "Christmas cheer hasn't spread to all of Bethlehem's residents," squarely blaming "an Israeli wall" for the town's misfortunes. Britains' Press and Journal also paints a dismal picture of Bethlehem, claiming the city is "divided by a huge wall" and that the "26ft-high security wall completes the isolation of Bethlehem and prevents it from ever expanding." The piece also wrongly states that about 2 percent of Bethlehem's population is Christian.

An opinion piece by Austen Ivereigh in the London Guardian, meanwhile, also claims Bethlehem is "shuttered and depressed" by an "Israeli separation wall."

"I don't just mean the structure itself – 30 feet high, bristling with watchtowers and formed of grey concrete slabs – but where it is built, deep into the town itself, far into the West Bank, severing Bethlehem from Jerusalem and ensuring the relentless expansion eastwards of Jewish-only settlements built on land seized from Palestinian farmers," the Guardian piece claims. Regarding the "wall" that "surrounds" Bethlehem: Israel built a fence in 2002 in the area where northern Bethlehem interfaces with Jerusalem. A tiny segment of the barrier, facing a major Israeli roadway, is a concrete wall that Israel says is meant to prevent gunmen from shooting at Israeli motorists....

Amazingly, Ivereigh's piece in the Guardian falsely claimed: "Bethlehem is shuttered and depressed not because of Koran-wielding thugs but because the wall has smashed its economy. The town has become a ghetto, severed from lands to the north and west by the wall, and to the south and east by settler-only roads and a forest of checkpoints, leaving it barely able to trade."
Simple demographic facts disprove this contention entirely. Israel built the barrier seven years ago. But Bethlehem's Christian population started to drastically decline in 1995, the very year Arafat's Palestinian Authority took over the holy Christian city in line with the U.S.-backed Oslo Accords.
Bethlehem was more than 80 percent Christian when Israel was founded in 1948. But after Arafat took control, the city's Christian population plummeted to its current 23 percent. And that statistic is considered generous since it includes the satellite towns of Beit Sahour and Beit Jala. Some estimates place Bethlehem's actual Christian population as low as 12 percent, with hundreds of Christians emigrating each year.
As soon as he took over Bethlehem, Arafat unilaterally fired the city's Christian politicians and replaced them with Muslim cronies. He appointed a Muslim governor, Muhammed Rashad A-Jabar, and deposed of Bethlehem's city council, which had nine Christians and two Muslims, reducing the number of Christians councilors to a 50-50 split.
Arafat then converted a Greek Orthodox monastery next to the Church of Nativity, the believed birthplace of Jesus, into his official Bethlehem residence.
Suddenly, after the Palestinians gained the territory, reports of Christian intimidation by Muslims began to surface.

Christian leaders and residents told this reporter they face an atmosphere of regular hostility. They said Palestinian armed groups stir tension by holding militant demonstrations and marches in the streets. They spokes of instances in which Christian shopkeepers' stores were ransacked and Christian homes attacked.

They said in the past, Palestinian gunmen fired at Israelis from Christian hilltop communities, drawing Israeli anti-terror raids to their towns.

In 2002, dozens of terrorists holed up inside the Church of the Nativity for 39 days while fleeing a massive Israeli anti-terror operation. Israel surrounded the church area but refused to storm the structure....

Some Christian leaders said one of the most significant problems facing Christians in Bethlehem is the rampant confiscation of land by Muslim gangs.

One religious novelty store owner recently told WND that Muslim gangs regularly deface Christian property.

"We are harassed, but you wouldn't know the truth. No one says anything publicly about the Muslims. This is why Christians are running away."
The City of the birth of Christ, the birth of King David, and the tomb of Rachel is under Palestinian governance, and has a Muslim majority population.

In 2007 the city had approximately 25,000 residents with Christians making up 20% of the citizenry. With life made difficult for Christians, and the fact that Christians propagate at a much slower rate than Muslims, the Christian presence in Bethlehem is dwindling.
