Delaware Corrupt Bastards 'Forget' to Air O'Donnell Campaign Ad Video

Sarah Palin referred to Alaskan reporters as "corrupt bastards" after plotting to portray Joe Miller's followers in a bad light. Today we know "corrupt bastards are spread from Alaska to Delaware. Christine O'Donnell. The O'Donnell campaign paid for two local ads, which the TV station "forgot" to air. View this very effective video ad below. I can see why the corrupt bastards in the press didn't want this ad to get out. It is one of the most effective campaign ads I've seen.

Lisa Murkowski Joe Miller: Palin Endorsed Joe Miller Wins Seat for Senate from Alaska

Unless votes appear from an unknown source, Joe Miller, a Sarah Palin-endorsed Republican for Lisa Murkowski's seat in the U.S. Senate has won the Republican primary. Listening to Larry Sabato right now on Fox saying all the uncounted votes are not enough to send Murkowski back to Washington, D.C. Ninety-eight percent of the votes have been counted, according to Sabato. A win for Miller has not been officially announced, so my disclaimer is this: if Miller does not win, he came perilously close for Murkowski.

Joe Miller

Here is a classic Palin tweet [current time 11:10 a.m. CDT]:
9 hours ago: Keeping fingers crossed, powder dry, prayers upward...
Press and pundits have gleefully said Sarah is losing her clout, even in her own State. Murkowski was expected to win the Primary with a double-digit win.

Doing a search engine search for "Joe Miller wins Alaska Senate Primary," I see no msm media reporting the story, other than the Washington Post hedging their bets. Today the MSM is in mourning, learning the hard lesson that Sarah Palin supports the sames values and principles that freedom-loving Americans support.

Obama 2008 Win Sends Journolist into Ecstasy

Here's your unbiased media folks, you know, the ones who have baldly lied to you, lied to you by omission and declared war and claims of racism on anyone who did not vote for Barack Obama. Enjoy these tidbits of Journolist ecstasy, along with some hate speech. NASCAR fans, don't miss the quote on the last line of this page.

Helen Thomas Fired, Dropped and Uninvited

This a follow-on to the Helen Thomas firing-retiring story. USA Today says she was dropped by her Speaker's bureau and "agreed" not to give a commencement speech at Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda, Maryland. Miss Thomas has been fired, dropped and uninvited.

Helen Thomas

I was reading some comments on the firing-hiring story at Free Republic, and one pointed-out that after this blows over, Helen will be a darling on the speaker's circuit again, and who knows, she might be hired by al-Jazeera. I can see that. Heard Bernie Goldberg on The Factor say comments like this are only unusual among the press, who repeat the same all the time but are smart enough not to say it on-camera. For details and background on the Helen Thomas story, find it here. Tipster David Lemon continues to amaze.

Man's Country, Barack Obama, Kal Penn and HillBuzz

Well, well, well. HillBuzz was visited in Chicago by a US journalist wanting information about Man's Country in Andersonville, Illinois. This article states that Barack Obama was a frequent visitor until 2002 and Rahm Emanuel until 2008, according to their sources. HillBuzz tagged this article "bath houses."

Man's Country (see bottom of sign above door)

A quick check on the Internet and what I find about Chicago's Man's Country is fairly disgusting. Read the reviews here, especially the one by Alberto M. who says Man's Country is "a gay Chicago icon...," but complains that there is always the chance of getting "cooties" in Man's Country.

Now, the article goes on to question the rags so busily working to tie Obama to an affair with Vera Baker, and the writer says something is fishy, and doesn't hesitate to explain. The side story is about Kal Penn, the actor who left House to serve the President. He also plays Kumar in the Harold and Kumar movies. In the White House, Penn goes by his real name, Kalpen Modi.

Why the sudden need to portray this current president as an insatiably heterosexual stud who just can’t get enough women?
Baker’s a diversionary tactic…designed to cover SOMETHING up…and we think that something is an affair Obama had with Kal Penn, which seems to have ended badly.  We also think Penn was mugged not by a street thug in Dupont Circle, but by someone working for either the DNC or Organizing for America (or any number of its umbrella thugs), because Penn’s phone had something in it that would prove some kind of romantic relationship between the president and a Hollywood actor with zero government experience who was plucked off a TV show unceremoniously and lifted into a high profile made-up position in the White House…so he could be close to Obama in Washington, where Obama wanted him.  Wanted in more than one sense.
Until he didn’t want him anymore.
And then someone needed to take his cell phone away, so that any pictures, texts, voicemails, or other interesting itts and bitts could be secured by those wishing to protect the current president.
Here's a link to Penn/Modi's mugging.

You know, this is an astounding and gutsy story, whether true or false. HillBuzz has stepped "out there."  It is obvious from they have had some background on the story. Maybe they have blogged about this in the past, but the blog title is Someone in the national media is FINALLY interested in Man's Country in Andersonville.

My disclaimer: I'm printing this because the report comes from Chicago. I don't know if it's true, but unless the writer is lying about the national media coming specifically for info about Man's Country, it deserves to be known, and besides, HillBuzz is a reputable blog. I got to the HillBuzz story via Logistics Monster who indicates that many have known about this since 2007, so....

Albor Ruiz New York Daily News: Columnist Ruiz says National Guard on Border a Gift to Extremists

This is the kind of rhetoric that makes us want to say: throw them all out - no exceptions! New York Daily News columnist Albor Ruiz headlines with President Obama gives extremists a gift by sending 1,200 National Guard troops to US-Mexican border.

Illegal Alien Supporters blocking traffic in New York City

He suggest a "crocodile-infested moat" might be next. No, those of us who think clearly know the crocs would be dead in seconds.

If legally-resident Hispanics want to feel welcome in this country, they must separate themselves from the likes of Ruiz. We will never, never accept the illegal and dangerous activities these people seem to think is okay. We did it for many, many years - to the detriment of our children. We won't do it again, and if you are a person with no respect for our laws, we will work for your permanent removal. We will win on this one, which amazes you - because we have been so totally ineffective in the past, but no longer - consider yourself warned -  you are gone.

After a heated (or perhaps icy) meeting on Capitol Hill with Senate Republicans and the President this week, with Republicans pounding home securing the border before passing immigration reform, Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ-8th) agreed with Republicans. Outstanding! Giffords' district borders a border. Her constituents are living a nightmare of drugs, filth, trash, trespassers and smugglers. One of her constituents was Rob Krentz, the rancher murdered by illegal aliens on his own property.

Mr. Ruiz, you think you are powerful and pithy, but in truth, you are simply pitiful.

Percy Sutton Khalid al-Mansour: Percy Sutton Dies, Named al-Mansour aka Don Warden as Obama Harvard Law fundraiser

Remember the story quickly quashed by media, when elderly Percy Sutton said he assisted Khalid al-Mansour in getting Barack Obama into Harvard Law? Two years later, Percy Sutton, age 89, has died. So, what is so controversial about al-Mansour helping a young student, and specifically the future President of the USA? See a video below.

Percy Sutton

New evidence has emerged that Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama was closely associated as early as age 25 to a key adviser to a Saudi billionaire who had mentored the founding members of the Black Panthers.

Khalid al-Mansour aka Don Warden

Al-Monsour has direct ties to the Saudi royal family. He is an adviser to Prince Alwaleed, an enormously wealthy man - at one time, and perhaps still, one of the 14 wealthiest men on the planet. Al-Mansour is the man who offered New York City $10 million to help rebuild downtown Manhattan, then ciritcized the U.S. saying we had contributed to the 9-11 attacks. Then-Mayor Rudy Giuliani refused to take his money.

The question is, what did Barack Obama accept from the Saudi's? Percy Sutton gave a few hints, and quickly, a spokesman said Mr. Sutton misspoke. The msm refused to talk about it.

When Percy Sutton was 87-years-old, he told a New York cable news channel that Dr. Khalid al-Mansour helped fund Barack Obama's Harvard Law School days. Sutton, the former attorney for Malcolm X, a former borough president of Manhattan, and the founder of Inner City Broadcasting said al-Mansour asked him to support Obama's Harvard Law application:
“He wrote to me about him,” Sutton recalled. “And his introduction was there is a young man that has applied to Harvard. I know that you have a few friends up there because you used to go up there to speak. Would you please write a letter in support of him?”

Sutton said he acted on his friend al-Mansour’s advice.

“I wrote a letter of support of him to my friends at Harvard, saying to them I thought there was a genius that was going to be available and I certainly hoped they would treat him kindly,” Sutton told NY1.
Khalid al-Mansour is a Texas native. His full Muslim name is Khalid Abdullah Tariq al-Mansour, his American alias is Don Warden. He is said to be a Black nationalist and an outspoken enemy of Israel.
A graduate of Howard University with a law degree from the University of California, al-Mansour sits on numerous corporate boards, including the Saudi African Bank and Chicago-based LaGray Chemical Co. LaGray, which was formed to do business in Africa, counts former Nigerian President General Abdusalam Abubakar on its advisory board.

He also sits on the board of the non-profit African Leadership Academy, along with top McCain for President adviser Carly Fiorina, and organized a tribute to the President of Ghana at the Clinton White House in 1995, along with pop star Michael Jackson.

But his writings and books are packed with anti-American rhetoric reminiscent of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Obama’s disgraced former pastor.

In a 1995 book, “The Lost Books of Africa Rediscovered,” he alleged that the United States was plotting genocide against black Americans....
According to the Social Activism Project at the University of California at Berkley, Warden, a.k.a. Khalid al-Mansour, was the mentor of Black Panther Party founder Huey Newton and his cohort, Bobby Seale.

Network Media Silent on ClimateGate: Day Fourteen and Counting

Is it possible that NBC, ABC and CBS have never reported the slightest thing about ClimateGate? That appears to be the case. The greatest science scandal in the world, and the mainstream media doesn't report anything. I don't watch every minute of these three, in fact I watch little from them, but Brent Bozell's Media Research Center is watching.

Brent Bozell

The following report of 14 days of total silence on ClimateGate from network media comes via Media Research Center:
Day Fourteen and Counting:
December 4, 2009

Alexandria, VA – For the fourteenth straight day, the three broadcast networks have failed to report on the great and growing ClimateGate scandal on their weekday morning or evening news programs.  How to explain this?

Perhaps it is that ABC, NBC and CBS have not yet heard of the story, despite two weeks of non-stop reporting on and discussion of ClimateGate in a whole host of media outlets.

Perhaps the broadcast networks only trust their fellow liberal press outlets, like the New York Times.  Perhaps they don’t realize the Times exhibited journalistic diligence on ClimateGate, with a front page story the day the story broke.

In the event that ABC News, NBC News and CBS News missed the news, the Media Research Center (MRC) is today rushing each of them a copy of the Times story, in the hopes that armed with this new information, they will finally report a story that has been roiling nearly everywhere else for a fortnight.

So as not to offend the networks’ pro-global warming sensibilities, MRC President Brent Bozell is looking to have the stories delivered by bicycle messenger.

Bozell:
“Ignorance is no excuse under the law, but maybe we should stop criticizing and start showing compassion for NBC, ABC and CBS and their neglect of the huge ClimateGate story.  We are more than happy to help rectify their knowledge deficit – via a network-friendly source and in an as environmentally-friendly a way as possible.

“We think that once the networks read the story of ClimateGate in their vaunted New York Times, they’ll feel compelled to report it themselves.

“We very much look forward to seeing the fruits of their labor.”

Report from Columbia University urges help to preserve journalism: Philanthropic money to aid journalists?

The headline caught my eye. Journalism does indeed need preserving, but my ideas about how to do so were not even close to those laid out in the report.

I am thinking that journalism needs more of a scrubbing - a good clean-up, more about getting to journalist ethics. A report, co-authored by a former executive editor for the Washington Post, doesn't go there.

Len Downie, in a report commissioned by the Columbia University Journalist School, wants "nonprofits" (philanthropists) to step in and help financially, as well as lobby for government tax codes granting nonprofit status - and how about that suggested fee for telecom and internet users?

What about feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, getting children who need medical assistance to the right hospital, donating to DARE and diabetes, the Ronald McDonald House, AIDs, various adult cancers and heart associations and our local church and missions? Where do these elitists get the brass to ask nonprofits to syphon-off monies given by the "givers" in America?

Did I mention there is a tax in this plan? The report is asking "philanthropic organizations to support local reporting." That's where the tax comes in - or fees - to be gathered in some fashion from telecom or internet providers."

I might not object if a clear definition of "journalism," and adherence to that definition, must be met to get the nonprofit status. Of course, it all depends on the definition of the trade - like defining what "is is."

Next will be White House ordered legislation assuring that FOX News is excluded from "nonprofit status."

I cannot credit this report by linking to it, because the "original source" says I cannot (but never mind, they want me to donate to keep their less-than-honest endeavors alive) but go to Breitbart.com and use some keywords and you'll find it.

Comparing News Room Headlines: MSM Ignores Gates call for decision on Afghanistan troop build-up

The White House this week told us that Fox News is not a "news" source. Since some very significant news has broken this morning, concerning the White House Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, I thought I would check out the headlines.

FOXNews is the only source reporting the "news," that Secretary Gates says we cannot wait for a decision from the White House on troop build-ups, until after the Afghan presidency is confirmed - and White House chief of staff Rham Emanuel announced that the White House must, indeed, wait. Oh, by the way, Emanuel's announcement was a total shock to Gates.

Obama Eligibility Cover-Up: MSM Hushes Talkers on POTUS Eligibility Updated

Canada Free Press has revealed the nature of the press blackout on President Obama's eligibility this week. Unfortunately, names and networks are not named. Nevertheless, the information is compelling and since CanadaFreePress says they are in possession of the identities we need to know about, we can hold out hope that there sources will become known. See update below. Note that CPF makes it clear, several times, that more than one anchor, more than one talkshow host, more than one "on-air-talent" was threatened and warned not to talk about Barack Obama's eligibility to be President. The warning extended to guests appearing on news programs and talkshows. The graphic below may be difficult to read. Here's the translation, then the article (see author bios after):

Obama Eligibility Cover-up
"A few moments later, I got a call from the top guy, the seniou executive produce [redacted],. It was not a great conversation. Unless I agreed in advance that this topic would not come out of my mouth, I would not go on..." "I asked what would happen in that case. He told me it would not be good and many phone calls would be made..." "the idea that shomehow some call would be made to someone that would frighten me..." "But the threat was weird. As you can imagine, I don't really respond all that well to threats..." -National Talk Show Host December 10, 2008
*****
Canada Free Press by Douglas Hagmann and Judi McLeon Tuesday, August 4, 2009

Now, we potentially face a new constitutional crisis stemming from the refusal of Barack Hussein Obama to produce a one-page document that would confirm his eligibility to hold the highest office in the land. Eligibility to hold office is not a “fringe” matter, but a core constitutional issue that lies at the very heart of a growing controversy.

Although we do not have the birth certificate or proof of ineligibility, the Northeast Intelligence Network and Canada Free Press have documentation of a cover-up relating to the issue of Obama’s eligibility to hold office. The proof we possess not only exposes a well orchestrated cover-up, but also provides critical insight into why the topic of Obama’s eligibility has failed to gain traction in the corporate media.

The Northeast Intelligence Network and Canada Free Press are in possession of extremely sensitive investigative documents, including a stunning written admission by a nationally known talk show host stating that he was threatened with his career – or worse - should he talk about the issue of Barack Hussein Obama’s birth records to a national audience. This document was obtained on December 10, 2008, and provides explicit detail of a “gag order” imposed on this host before and immediately following the national election last November. After receiving and authenticating the document, US based veteran private investigator Douglas J. Hagmann opened a full scale investigation into the media blackout, with specific emphasis on tracing the blackout origins to those issuing them. This investigation was conducted in conjunction with Judi McLeod, founding editor of Canada Free Press and Brian Thompson, CFP Information Technology chief following a meeting near Toronto, Ontario last December. At that meeting, it was decided to keep the existence of the document secret until additional evidence could be obtained. Today, after an extensive eight month investigation, the Northeast Intelligence Network and Canada Free Press are breaking their silence and revealing explosive information about a widespread cover-up that began at the earliest stages of the Obama presidential campaign. The cover-up traces back to some of the most powerful and influential people in the U.S. and continues today.

Summary of the Evidence

As noted above, we are in possession of a written account by a well known national talk show host who details how he was prohibited to discuss the controversy of Barack Hussein Obama’s eligibility as president of the United States. This signed document cites exact dates and times when he was forbidden to discuss any aspect of the birth certificate controversy, and includes direct references to the individuals responsible for such prohibitions. Further, his statement identifies the individuals who originated the orders and their positions, and confirms that failure to adhere to the order would likely end his career in that industry. He also confirms that other, less specific but more menacing threats were implied during conversations with those making the subject off limits. Although we possess the original document containing the name and contact information of the talk show host, we have decided not to publish his name or network affiliation at this time. Based on the correspondence from this individual and respecting the nature of the threats to him personally and professionally, it is our decision to allow him to enjoy anonymity until such time as he decides to reveal the facts himself at a time of his choosing. From multiple interviews conducted within the last eight months, we have obtained information from other sources, independent of the above, who have also been instructed to avoid any discussion of the birth certificate issue at all costs, to wit:

The account of an administrative assistant employed in New York City by a cable network news station who provided significant, detailed information of a 2008 meeting between the top network executive and four-(4) well-known news anchors. This source confirmed that she drafted the memo to the various hosts to notify them of the date, time and location of this high-level meeting at the request of the network’s top executive. Present at this meeting, she verified that the network official issued “warnings” to thepersonalities “to avoid any on-air discussion of the birth place, eligibility, and news accounts of litigation compelling [Barack Hussein] Obama to produce a legitimate copy of his birth certificate.” She stated that the network executive had her arrange the conference immediately following a meeting “between [the network executive] and an attorney closely associated with candidate Obama who was acting on his behalf.” The statement of a corporate secretary for a major news network confirming the existence of a one-page inter-office memo, bearing the markings “confidential” and “not for dissemination,” addressed and distributed to news anchors and on-air talent” that specifically instructed the recipients to avoid any discussion pertaining to the Obama birth certificate controversy. The memo was written and distributed in October 2008, and specifically instructed on-air talent to “advise guests, as necessary, to refrain from citing any news story, legal proceedings, Internet ‘blogs’ or other sources that pertain to the ongoing eligibility controversy of future President Barack Obama.” As outlined above, our Investigation has uncovered both direct and indirect evidence of threats being made against some of the nation’s top radio and television personalities, which would explain some giving this topic mere lip service. As one source interviewed during the course of this investigation stated, “I’ve got a careerand family think about.” Although no one should be surprised over the manipulation of the news, the nature of this manipulation, and the extent of the threats against journalists, should shock even the most well grounded. Any reasonable person must question the motivation of the media moguls. The individuals who have – and continue to threaten talk show hosts, news anchors, and others are the top people. We are not talking about mid or upper level management – this is from the very top in all cases. If there is nothing to the birth certificate issue and the question of eligibility, why the secrecy?

Walter Cronkite a World Federalist: Sitting at the right hand of Satan

CBS anchorman Walter Cronkite retired from his position as "the most trusted man in America" in 1981. America thought they knew all there was to know about this distinguished newsman that they invited into their home each evening. The truth is, we didn't have a clue, and we certainly didn't know what he was doing behind the scenes. Walter Cronkite was a World Federalist and in that vein, he said he was happy to sit at the right hand of Satan. The background is that Walter Cronkite was a member of the World Federalist Movement. Norman Cousins was a past president of the organization. The World Federalists want a new world order of international law and international justice for individuals. The World Federalist Movement headquarters, known as the Institute for Global Policy, is located in New York City across from the United Nations. The best estimate of membership is between 30,000 and 50,000 members. The video below is a bit long, so I've transcribed portions if you do not have time to watch the entire "event." Norman Cousins introduces Walter Cronkite and presents the Norman Cousins Global Governance Award to him. Cousins lauds Cronkite for being a lifelong advocate of the principal of world governance. Cousins either quotes Cronkite as saying "world governance is the structure necessary for global justice," or this is a statement made by Cousins in his introduction. The video is not clear on who said what. Cronkite takes the podium and honors Cousins by saying he had hoped to address Cousins as "Mr. President," one day. In Cronkite's remarks he opens with "the first priority of human kind is to establish an effective system of world law that will assure peace and justice among peoples of all the world." He says that as a journalist, "I had my own strong opinions and I put them aside, now however my circumstances are considerably different and I'm in a position to speak my mind, and by God, I'm going to do it:

[We have the opportunity to] influence the future of civilization, whether our planet is going to live or die, to drift into chaos and violence or whether through a monumental educational and political effort we will achieve a world of peace under a system of law where individual violators of that law are brought to justice.
Cronkite says our belief in war is a "savage" belief.
We Americans are going to have to yield-up some of our sovereignty. That's going to be to many a bitter pill. It will take a lot of courage, a lot of faith, a lot of persuasion for them to come along with us in this necessity. Our forefathers believe that the closer the laws are to the people, the better...
He speaks about the duty of the federal government being interstate commerce, etc., but:
...today we must develop federal structures on a global level to deal with world problems. We need a system of enforceable w law, a democratic federal world government. What Alexander Hamilton wrote about the need for law among the 13 states applies today to the approximately 200 sovereigntys in our global village, all of which are going to need to give up some of that sovereignty to the better greater union and it's not going to be easy.
Most important we should sign and ratify the treaty for a permanent international criminal court. That is now at the core of the World Federalist Movement's drive. That court will enable the world to hold individuals accountable for their crimes against humanity. Pat Robertson wrote in a book a few years ago saying that we should have "a world government but only when the Messiah arrives. Any attempt to achieve world order before that time must be the work of the devil." Well, join me. I'm glad to sit here at the right hand of Satan. Let us hear the peal of a new international liberty bell that calls us all to the creation of a system of enforceable world law in which the universe's desire for peace can place its hope and its prayers.
Hillary Clinton as the then-First Lady, is simulcasted-in for remarks: She congratulates Walter, and speaks of his time in the CBS anchor chair. She extolled him:
"You explained the complex news of the day, telling us in simple but riveting prose what was happening. You told us "the way it is," We honor you for fighting for the way it could be...You have stirred our consciousness to live closer to the words of the universal declaration of human rights: all human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.
Visit Storm'n Norm'n for more links and commentary, and thanks for the heads-up on the video. Mr. Cronkite's quest for world peace is a noble one. To believe that a world court designed to administer justice to individuals, in order to get that peace, is either incredibly naive or traitorous. Cronkite has the audacity to quote our Founders, with no credit for the hard-fought battle that they lived through, yet believes we should be subject to a world court. Had there been a world court in the days of Alexander Hamilton, Mr. Cronkite would have been a subject of Queen Elizabeth - if indeed the Muslim world had allowed her to reign. The "most trusted man in American" was willing to hand over American sovereignty by trusting in the belief of the goodness of mankind. He obviously was not paying attention to the world news, to which he had such heady access. See information on the International Criminal Court (ICC) under the video.
Walter Cronkite - World Federalist Video
In 2000, President Bill Clinton signed the International Criminal Court (ICC) treaty. Congress did not, and has not, ratified the treaty. In 2002, the U.S. notified the United Nations that we will not be bound by the treaty, which is touted to be the best and only way to enforce human rights. Kenneth Roth, then director of Human Rights Watch said:
Unsigning the treaty will not stop the court. It will only throw the United States into opposition against the most important new institution for enforcing human rights in 50 years," he said.

The court itself still has enough international support to begin work in The Hague next year - but without US backing, correspondents say it will be a far less powerful and effective player on the world stage.

Fortunately, Congress understood that our military, our diplomats and our executive branch would be in great jeopardy if any power is given to a world court. Today, we have a very different Congress. Be assured that Barack Obama supports the ICC. Read more about Cronkite: Nostalgia for Cronkite: How Cronkite Changed America

Bloggers Beware - AP Crack Down Coming!

By Lonely Conservative

The Associated Press wants to be paid by anyone linking to their articles. My advice, stop linking to AP stories. Find another source. It won’t be worth the headache.

Tom Curley, The A.P.’s president and chief executive, said the company’s position was that even minimal use of a news article online required a licensing agreement with the news organization that produced it. In an interview, he specifically cited references that include a headline and a link to an article, a standard practice of search engines like Google, Bing and Yahoo, news aggregators and blogs.

Asked if that stance went further than The A.P. had gone before, he said, “That’s right.” The company envisions a campaign that goes far beyond The A.P., a nonprofit corporation. It wants the 1,400 American newspapers that own the company to join the effort and use its software.

“If someone can build multibillion-dollar businesses out of keywords, we can build multihundred-million businesses out of headlines, and we’re going to do that,” Mr. Curley said. The goal, he said, was not to have less use of the news articles, but to be paid for any use.

I would suggest not linking to, citing, or excerpting any AP article from this day forward. Let’s see how much revenue they generate once they become irrelevant.

Jeffrey D. Gordon is Carol Rosenberg Sexual Harrassment Accuser

Commander Jeffrey D. Gordon is a US Navy Commander. Carol Rosenberg is a Miami Herald "journalist." Commander Gordon has filed a letter of complaint to the Executive Editor of the Miami Herald accusing Rosenberg of sexual harassment. Commander Gordon is a Pentagon Spokesman for Western Hemisphere and Guantanamo. In Gordon's letter of complaint, he also says that he is a senior naval officer representing the Secretary of Defense at Guantanamo. Commander Gordon calls Carol Rosenberg's behavior "appalling," and he asked for a "thorough investigation." Gordon writes:

To me, in front of another journalist with reference to why 9/11 co-defendant Mustafa Al Hawsawi was seated on a pillow in court:

"Have you ever had a red hot poker shoved up your a**? Have you ever had a broomstick shoved up your a**? Have you ever had anything in your a**? How would you know how it feels if it never happened to you? Admit it, you liked it? No wonder why you like to stay in South Beach on your Miami visits."

Rosenberg, to CNN's Jamie McIntyre in front of roughly 15 journalists in the Guantanamo Commission's press center:

To Jamie - "Aren't you in the BOQ (Bachelor Officers Quarters)? I didn't think you were in tent city because these people (military public affairs escorts) are so far up your ass that I figured you must be in the BOQ."

To Me [Gordon] - "Why isn't he in the BOQ? You're kissing his ass so much that I can't believe that you're letting him stay with the rest of us. Do you love him?"

Gordon further quotes Rosenberg saing to press and enlisted men and women:
Seeing him [Gordon] topless in tent city was the most repulsive sight I've ever seen in my life."
The Commander is alleged not to be Rosenberg's only target:
...accuses Rosenberg of "bullying" reporters from various outlets including New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, Fox News, CBC, Der Siegel and Al Jazeera. He claims that over the years, Rosenberg has labeled her peers in the press and Gordon's colleagues "bitches," "stupid," "lazy," "incompetent," "Nazis," and "Saddam Hussein-like."
The letter to Anders Gyllenhaal indicates that this is not the first time Gordon has asked the Miami Herald to reign-in Rosenberg. He mentions a similar letter to Gyllenhaal written in July 2008. He said he appreciated Gyllenhaal's efforts, but they yielded no results. FishBowlDC has the story as well as a link to the entire letter from Commander Jeffrey D. Gordon.

Where's the Media When We Need Them?

by Lonely Conservative Now more than ever the people of the United States need an unbiased, inquisitive, and robust press; but for a few exceptions the press has been AWOL.

Barack Obama and the democrats have more power than any president or congress in my lifetime. Yet the press is more interested in Michelle Obama’s clothes, President Obama’s abs, or the first couple taking a stroll on a spring evening. Perhaps the AP should leave that reporting to Entertainment Tonight or People Magazine and start reporting the actual news.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi is working to block investigations of misconduct and corruption of House Democrats. Why did I have to find this information on another blog? Why didn’t I read about it in the paper this morning? But this isn’t about me, I actively seek information. It’s about the majority of Americans who rely on newspapers and the big networks to provide news. It’s a shame they’re so uninformed. What’s more shameful is that keeping the public uninformed is deliberate.

Jake Tapper at ABC News has been trying his best; for this he’ll most likely be punished by his employer, the White House, or both. He reported that an attorney for one of the funds involved in the Chrysler bankruptcy informed him that the White House threatened to destroy a firm’s reputation if they didn’t go along with the Obama plan for Chrysler. Of course the White House denied the charge. Why aren’t the other news organizations looking into this? Certainly this is newsworthy.

When the Fox network decided not to air Obama’s last press conference, President Obama decided to pay back Fox News by refusing to allow Major Garrett to ask a question. Obama even went so far as to openly mock Fox News last week (while also mocking hundreds of thousands of ordinary Americans). Will he continue to punish Major Garrett and Fox News for making sound business decisions and providing Americans with vital information?

The federal government now has unprecendented power, the likes of which most Americans have never seen. But national news organizations are so biased there’s an entire website devoted to exposing that bias. It’s ugly, it’s shameful, and it’s dangerous. It’s no wonder newspapers are dropping like flies across the nation. Don’t they understand that if only they would do their jobs they’d stand a chance of keeping those jobs?

Press Stands in Respect for Obama, Not for Bush: Watch a Military Response (Video)

Silly me, I thought every American "stood" for a U.S. President. Watch this and then check out the video below.

If President Bush didn't have the love and respect of White House reporters, he certainly had it from our military, and he gave it back to the military. Watch how Bush and Obama approached our troops. Hat tip to Blue Star Chronicles.

Indecency in the Media: The Attempted Mumbai Whitewash

Caroline Glick's article below cites a doctor in Mumbai speaking of the extreme torture of the six Jews shot in the Chabad House. As I was researching this, I came across another article in the Jerusalem Post that seems to negate this report. Whatever the truth, we know these innocents are now dead at the hands of Islamic terrorists. Ms. Glick is Deputy Managing Editor of The Jerusalem Post and senior fellow for Middle Eastern Affairs at the Center for Security Policy in Washington, DC. She has been published by The Wall Street Journal, National Review, The Journal of International Security Affairs, The Boston Glove, The Washington Times, The Jewish press and Frontpage Magazine, among others. In the article below, she shares her disgust at the shoddy work continually passed off as journalism...journalism that is intended to misrepresent, hide, distort, falsify, ignore, pervert and prevent the truth (all my words, not Glick's). I remember being dismayed at the news of a Jewish center held hostage, once it was finally reported. We knew about the hotels and the train station. How did we not know about this much earlier? Perhaps it had to be reported once the rescue commandos began landing on the rooftop. Many of us rail at the indecency of the MSM. As a blogger, it is a part of my daily mantra, and my readers readily leave their raw and outraged opinions about the unfairness of our morally-deficient and conscience-devoid media. I hope readers will cancel their Time magazine subscriptions (if they have them) and inveigh the name of Fareed Zakaria as they do so. Photos below inserted by Maggie's Notebook. Warning - one is graphic, but it IS the real story.

Our World: The jihadist-multicultural alliance by Caroline Glick for the Jerusalem Post Doctors at the Mumbai hospital who treated the victims of the past week's jihadist attacks were rendered nearly speechless by the carnage. As two doctors explained to the Indian news website rediff.com, violent gang wars and previous terror attacks didn't hold a candle to what happened.

The bodies of the victims showed clear signs of preexecution torture. The worst tortured, they said, were the Jewish victims. As one doctor put it, "Of all the bodies, the Israeli victims bore the maximum torture marks. It was clear that they were killed on the [first day of the assault]. It was obvious that they were tied up and tortured before they were killed. It was so bad that I do not want to go over the details even in my head again." India's Intelligence Bureau revealed that a captured jihadist explained that they were instructed to seek out foreign and especially Israeli victims.

In the aftermath of the Mumbai massacres, it is hard to imagine that there is anything as pernicious as the jihadists who sought out and murdered non-Muslims with such cruelty. But there is. Their multicultural apologists, who enable them to continue to kill by preventing their victims from fighting back, are just as evil.

The jihadists in Mumbai, like their counterparts throughout the world, were motivated to kill by their adherence to totalitarian Islam. Totalitarian Islam calls for the annihilation of the Jewish people and the subjugation of all other non-Muslims.

The jihadists in Mumbai, like their counterparts from Gaza to Baghdad to Guantanamo Bay, have been defended, and their acts and motivations have been explained away, by their allies and loyal apologists: Western multiculturalists. Multiculturalism is a quasi-religion predicated on both moral relativism and a basic belief in the inherent avarice of the West - particularly of the US and Israel. Multiculturalists assert that Westerners - or, in the case of India, Hindus - are to blame for all acts of violence carried out against them by non-Westerners. IN THE case of the Mumbai massacres, the jihadists' multicultural defenders began justifying their actions while they were still in the midst of their torture and murder spree. In Newsweek, Fareed Zakaria hinted that Indian Hindus had it coming.

"One of the untold stories of India," he explained, "is that the Muslim population has not shared in the boom the country has enjoyed over the last 10 years. There is still a lot of institutional discrimination, and many remain persecuted."

Then too, the multicultural media suppressed the fact that the jihadists were targeting Jews. Outside of Israel, it took the media nearly two days to report that the Chabad House had even been taken over by the jihadists. And once they did finally report that Jews were being targeted, they made every effort to downplay the strategic significance of the jihadists' decision to send a team off the beaten path simply to butcher Jews.

Emblematic of the Western media's attempts to play down the story was The New York Times. Two days into the hostage drama, the Times opined, "It is not known if the Jewish center was strategically chosen, or if it was an accidental hostage scene." JEWS WERE not the only ones who had their identity obscured. The jihadists did too. For almost an entire day, major news networks in the West suppressed the fact that the murderers were Muslim jihadists, claiming oddly, that they could also be Hindu terrorists. This was odd not because there are no Hindu terrorists, but because the perpetrators referred to themselves from the outset as "mujahideen," or Islamic warriors.

Read more at Jerusalem Post Four Americans are known dead at this time, Alan Scherr, 58 and his 13 year old daughter, Naomi, both from Virginia and staying at the Oberoi Hotel, and Rabbi Gavriel Holtzbers, 29 and his wife, Rivka, 28 - both of the Chabad House. In total, 195 died at the hands of Islamic terrorists who targeted Americans, Brits and Jews.

Media Lies Through Omission

Graphic courtesy of Free Canuckistan!

As Democrats gear up to silence the voices of Conservative radio through a so-called Fairness Doctrine, the main stream media continues to report and lie through omission. This is a nasty little habit that has become all too prevalent.

We were barraged with Obama's plans for hope and change, but there was nary a word of the depths of his seedy associations, valid questions about his citizenship, his connection to Raila Odinga's Kenyan philosophies, for which he campaigned, his philosophy of Black Liberation theology, or his well-documented ties to ACORN.

Press omissions affect international news, too, and of course they would - if not so, there would be no need to omit actual facts. These omissions are often used to show Israel in a unfavorable light, and to hide the successes in Iraq. Curious that the half omitted always reflects favorably for Conservative causes.

Official statements issued by the United Nations condemning both Palestine and Israel are brazenly reported as a criticism of Israel only. These reports affect a world view of Israel and Palestine: Palestine the victim, Israel the war monger. These reports are designed to misrepresent. And, misrepresent...they do. Comments from U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon have been reported by half. If Ban condemns both sides, the condemnation is reported as against Israel alone.

Just to be clear, the "criticism" or "condemnation" of Palestine is often swept under the rug. Two examples in 2008 alone from CAMERA:
The United Nations Secretary-General last March issued a brief statement condemning Palestinian rocket fire as "terrorism" and condemning Israel response as "disproportionate and excessive." Subsequently, in a dramatic violation of journalistic ethics, a number of prominent media organizations relayed only his comments about Israel's response and ignored the portion dealing with Palestinian terrorism. (See CAMERA's full analysis here.)
Several months later, the media had a second chance to get it right. In November, after Palestinians resumed rocket attacks from the Gaza Strip into Israeli towns and Israel shut down its border crossings into Gaza, Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon again delivered a statement condemning both rocket attacks and measures that increase hardship for Gaza civilians. But again, several reporters chose to inform readers only about part of Ban's statement.
Associated Press reporter Ben Hubbard, for example, quoted only the portion of the statement expressing concern with measures that may harm Gaza civilians. The Secretary-General's condemnation of rocket attacks was ignored completely — an omission all the more glaring because his article, "Rockets from Gaza strike deep into Israel" (11/14), was primarily about Hamas's rocket attacks.

A Nov. 16 news brief in the Los Angeles Times also selectively reported on Ban's statement: "U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon called on Israel to open the crossings to humanitarian aid. Measures that increase the suffering ‘are unacceptable and should cease immediately,' he said in a statement." Readers have no way of knowing that he condemned the rocket fire.
Reading Hubbard's account and the LA Times, in these instances, an unaware reader will ask "what rocket fire? Readers would have no clue. There were journalists who got it right, and reported factually. We are in the odd position of being gratuitously grateful to those who choose to do the job right. Poor reporting is first, accepted, and then ignored.

Subverting the truth has become common place in 2008. Where is the outrage?

The Background: On November 4th, Israel received information on a tunnel built to abduct Israeli soldiers. Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) forces entered Gaza, located the entrance to the tunnel INSIDE a residential home and neighborhood, and entered the structure. They encountered Hamas militants who opened fire. Israel replied. Injuries ensued on both sides.

The tunnel was destroyed. Israeli's are familiar with Hamas tunnels. On January 25, 2006, 19 year old Cpl. Gilad Shalit was kidnapped and two soldiers died. The Hamas tunnel stretched 300 yards under the border, into Israel. Shalit is still missing.

Israel doesn't plan to lose more of its own to tunnel kidnappings. CAMERA pointed out that China's state-run wire service got it right and asked this question: "If the Chinese state media can get it right, shouldn't the independent U.S. press do the same?"

Read other incidents of blatant disregard of Palestinian culpability here and here. There is no shame attached to blatant misrepresentation in the press. Some in Congress are trumpeting their support for a Fairness Doctrine, where only a few months ago, it was only admitted behind closed doors. The Left has a confidence now that issues may be distorted, misrepresented and even lied about at will.

There must be a consequence that concerned American's can impose. How do we keep up the energy to write, email and boycott? It's a good question. If you have ideas, I'd love to hear them.
