Non-Citizen Legal Residents May Get to Vote in Maine

The only way it gets more ridiculous is to let illegal residents vote. Is this legal anywhere? We must learn that "all politics are not local." When Abdirizad Daud votes Democrat as a non-citizen, his vote affects me and my family. Non-citizen voters must be barred. I don't care what taxes they pay. If they don't want to pay taxes, go home. Our vote is our voice and our "say." You should not have a voice if you are not a citizen.

In this FoxNews article, don't miss the part about one of Portland's largest non-citizen groups, the Somali's and the Al-Amin Halal Market. Read about Abdirizad Daud and his 9 children. After 20+ years in the U.S. his English is "limited," and he cannot afford to become a citizen. Besides that, Allah would have a hissy fit. Daud longs to become a Democrat.

Portland residents will vote Nov. 2 on a proposal to give legal residents who are not U.S. citizens the right to vote in local elections, joining places like San Francisco and Chicago that have already loosened the rules or are considering it.
Noncitizens hold down jobs, pay taxes, own businesses, volunteer in the community and serve in the military, and it's only fair they be allowed to vote, Rwaganje said.
"We have immigrants who are playing key roles in different issues of this country, but they don't get the right to vote," said Rwaganje, 40, who moved to the U.S. because of political strife in his native Congo and runs a nonprofit that offers financial advice to immigrants.
Opponents of the measure say immigrants already have an avenue to cast ballots -- by becoming citizens. Allowing noncitizens to vote dilutes the meaning of citizenship, they say, adding that it could lead to fraud and unfairly sway elections.
"My primary objection is I don't think it is right, I don't think it is just, I don't think it is fair," Portland resident Barbara Campbell Harvey said.
San Francisco also has a ballot question on Nov. 2nd to decide whether or not to let non-citizens vote. In the article linked above you'll learn of other cities already giving non-citizens the right to vote in some instances. But first think about this little ditty:

Democracy for all: Restoring Immigrant Voting Rights in the U.S.

About those Somali's. This is from Gates of Vienna June 2007. Nothing has changed since. Here's the proof.
Wherever there are Somalians, though, this practice [genital mutilation of girls] continues. If more MSM outlets in other places where Somalians settle are willing to do the public a service by grapically exposing this inhumane and cruel treatment of little girls, the custom may be eradicated...
Let’s see what the Minnesota MSM are willing to do for these little girls. Let’s see if Hillary talks about “the children” in her numerous trips through areas which contain large minorities who practice this barbarity. This is one custom that can’t be protected by the ethnographers who insist we leave indigenous people to follow their own customs.

Two-Time Ten Buck Friday Winner Joel Demos Faces Muslim Opponent Keith Ellison

While away on vacation, I missed three Ten Buck Friday Winners, and I'm on a mission to catch-up. I'm making my donations and hope you will too. The latest winner announced on October 8th is Joel Demos. In my opinion, this is one of the most important U.S. House races for November, because his opponent is a practicing Muslim with close ties to all the major Islamic organizations, including Louis Farrakhan's Nation of Islam.  See an entertaining video below.

Joel and Jenny Demos

With this win, Demos is now a two-time winner of the Ten Buck Friday polls. He is running for the U.S. House seat for the 5th District of Minnesota. It is good news that TBF can funnel additional funds and publicity for him.

Demos' opponent is Muslim Congressman, Keith Ellison - one of the most Liberal in in the House of Representatives, who won his last election with 71% of the vote. Obviously, Joel Demos needs our support.

His conservatism is unquestionable, as you'll see with a quick visit to his website, so I want to talk about his opponent. Keith Ellison was the first Muslim converted congressman elected to The People's House, soon followed by Muslim convert Andre Carson from Indiana.

To demonstrate the concerns of Muslims in Congress, Ellison spoke to the North American Imams Federation in 2006. The Imams are trained at the American Open University (AOU):
The AOU is a radical school that emphasizes the paramount role of Shari’a law in an American context. Its chairman Jaafar Sheikh Idris regards democracy as “the antithesis of Islam,” arguing that human beings have no right to make their own laws. “No one,” he claims, “can be a Muslim who makes or freely accepts or believes that anyone has the right to make or accept legislation that is contrary to the divine law.”
He also declared that no Muslim elected to Congress can swear to uphold the U.S. Constitution and remain a Muslim “for in order to pledge loyalty to the constitution, a Muslim would have to abandon part of his belief and embrace the belief of secularism—which is practically another religion.” That Keith Ellison supports an institution linked to someone who holds views in such deep conflict with normative American values is deeply troubling. Source: Creeping Sharia
In the past, Ellison voted with Barack Obama 96%+ of the time. The following is from a previous post:
Ellison is supported by Louis Farrakhan's Nation of Islam, and has close associations to the Counsel on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the Muslim-American Society (MSA), the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), the Muslim Brotherhood and the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT). Read details of these Islamic connections here

Ellison also writes under the alias "Keith Hakim." He evaded paying income taxes for five years - had liens placed on his property and eventually paid $25,000 to settle the tax evasion. He failed to pay parking tickets and moving violations and had his driver's license suspended "multiple" times. Still yet, he won a seat in the People's House.  Read about Ellison at Discover The Networks.
Via Nice Deb, via The Other McCain, consider this from McCain:
Beat Keith Ellison . . .For the Children!
You’re looking at that picture [above] and saying, “Oh, how sweet!”
Meanwhile, Keith Ellison’s supporters are looking at that picture and shouting: “Death to the infidel dogs!
Read about Ellison's radical Muslim donors at InvestigativeProject.

Demos is endorsed by Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty.  Read about Joel on the issues here. Hopefully you have already participated in the Demos win with TBF, and donated to him in the last few days. If not, please donate here.

Vote Joel Demos for Congress
