Okay, to begin with, I will not pretend that I've always known to what the Latin Si Vis Pacem translates. But I didn't have to look it up because Ran, the Dominus at Si Vis Pacem provides the translation in his banner, and it is advice we must hold dear: If you seek peace, seek first liberty. So visiting Ran, I found his latest post on the truth about Tea Parties finally being told in media such as the Wall Street Journal.

Peggy Noonan wrote the article to which Dominus refers. Noonan is always quote-worthy, but I loved this quote from Ran in response to her article:

In the end, it isn't even about The Won. It is about the statist-progressive totalitarian agenda. America is an idea, after all. American exceptionalism is merely the aggregate expression of individual achievement obtained with Libery. That's really all we Teapers want."

Jay Leno Fidel Castro: Castro's Communism isn't Working in Cuba Video

This week a journalist reported Fidel Castro told him over a lunch of fish, salad, good bread and good red wine that the "Cuban model doesn't even work for us anymore." The "Cuban model," of course, refers to Communism. Jay Leno didn't let it lie. See the video blow.

Today, we hear that the journalist "misunderstood" what Castro mumbled between dipping and munching. Immediately, the AP characterized the comment as a "joke," even before Castro claimed journalist, Jeffrey Goldberg "misunderstood."

Goldberg invited Julia Sweig to accompany him for lunch with the dictator. Sweig is a "leading Latin American scholar at the Council on Foreign Relations. Dis Sweig misunderstand also? Yesterday, Goldberg posted a rebuttal at The Atlantic. Castro said the following:

Castro said he meant "exactly the opposite" of what was understood by Jeffrey Goldberg, who was interviewing him for The Atlantic...

On Friday, Castro said he was correctly quoted, but that, "in reality, my answer meant exactly the opposite of what both American journalists interpreted regarding the Cuban model. My idea, as the whole world knows, is that the capitalist system no longer works for the United States or the world," he said. "How could such a system work for a socialist country like Cuba?" 

Goldberg's response:

...I think the expression, "The Cuban model doesn't even work for us anymore" means, "The Cuban model doesn't even work for us anymore."

Fidel says that his answer meant "exactly the opposite" of what Julia Sweig and I heard him say. Just as a language experiment, here is what the opposite of his statement would sound like: "The Cuban model works so well for us that we want to export it."

We know one thing for certain, Castro was not joking. He validates his own words and notes nothing jocular about them. But...what about the AFP? They created an excuse for Castro before Castro said anything about Goldberg's report.

Six Teenagers Drown in Louisianas Red River: Whites Kept Blacks from Swimming Pools

Six teenagers from two families wading in Louisiana's Red River fell into deep water and drowned as their families watched. No one in the group could swim and only one life jacket was available. The Shreveport fire department was able to pull one 14-year-old boy to safety. CBS, never failing to play the race card, says few Blacks can swim because racism keep them out of swimming pools for decades.

Six Teenagers Drown in Louisiana

The victims ranged in age from 13 to 18 - three brothers from one family and a two brothers and a sister from another.

Swimming skills can be scarce among African-Americans like the teens in this tragedy. A study commissioned by the sports governing body USA Swimming found 69 percent of black children had low or no swimming ability. Segregation kept blacks out of public and private pools for decades and the disparity continues because many poor and working class children have limited access to pools or instruction.

The teens had started playing in a familiar area but ended up at a spot in the river where the bottom fell suddenly and that's where divers found the bodies, Sanders said.

These kids were under 20 years old. We haven't had segregated public pools for decades. They were with their parents, and the parents failed to protect their children by making them safe in water. Shame on CBS for making this a matter of racism.

There is no love or even like for Israel among the members of the Main Stream Media, but what the supposed Dean of the White House Press Corp, Helen Thomas said went beyond Media Bias and right on to anti-Semitism.

Veteran Hearst newspaper journalist, known as the “dean” of White House reporters, exposed her bias on video by saying that Jews "should get the hell out of Palestine." She apologized for her comments on Saturday, but Jewish and non-Jewish leaders have called on the 89-year-old journalist to “hang up the typewriter” and retire.

Her remarks, along with her grilling of White House Spokesman Robert Gibbs over the flotilla clash last Monday, expose an anti-Israel bias that also was revealed in Associated Press coverage several days ago.

Thomas’ comments, including the statement that Jews should "go back home to Poland, Germany, America and everywhere else," were posted Friday on a YouTube video. She had been asked after the White House Jewish Heritage celebration last Sunday if she had "any comments on Israel."



Thomas, a daughter of Lebanese immigrants, replied to Rabbi David Nesenoff of RabbiLIVE.com, "Tell them to get the hell out of Palestine. Remember, these people are occupied and it's their land. Not Germany. Not Poland."

Asked where the Jews should go, she shot back, "They go home. Poland. Germany. And America and everywhere else."

After the video was posted, Thomas wrote on her web site, “I deeply regret my comments I made last week regarding the Israelis and the Palestinians. They do not reflect my heartfelt belief that peace will come to the Middle East only when all parties recognize the need for mutual respect and tolerance. May that day come soon.”

That did not satisfy critics. Beth Gilinsky, head of the Jewish Action Alliance, called for her immediate dismissal. Ari Fleischer, who was White House Press Secretary for former U.S. President George W. Bush, remarked, “She should lose her job over this. As someone who is Jewish, and as someone who worked with her and used to like her, I find this appalling.

"She is advocating religious cleansing. How can Hearst stand by her? If a journalist, or a columnist, said the same thing about blacks or Hispanics, they would already have lost their jobs."

Minnesota Republican Congresswoman Michele Bachmann said,” Once again the liberal media has shown its true colors. The White House media dinosaur, also known as Helen Thomas, has called on Jews to leave Israel and move back to Poland and Germany. This anti-Semitic sentiment has no place in our public discourse. I call upon her employer, [the] Hearst Corporation, to dismiss her at once. The White House needs to revoke her press credentials immediately."

Thomas’ bias was evident in her questioning of White House spokesman Gibbs. “The initial reaction to the flotilla massacre, deliberate massacre, an international crime, was pitiful,” she asserted.

Criticizing the Obama administration for not condemning Israel for the killing of nine terror activists who attacked Israel Navy commandos when the soldiers were virtually unarmed, Thomas added, “What is this sacrosanct ironclad relationship where a country that deliberately kills people and boycotts every aid and abet the boycott?” Gibbs responded, "Well, look, I think the initial reaction regretted the loss of life as we tried and as we still continue to gather the relevant.”

Thomas retorted, “Regret won’t bring them back…. Why didn’t you initially condemn it?... Who put the US in charge of the world?”

After the initial Associated Press report of the flotilla clash, the Washington Times exposed AP's bias for immediately jumping to the conclusion that Israel was to blame for the violence.

The AP had reported, "Dozens of activists and six Israeli soldiers were wounded in the bloody predawn confrontation in international waters. The violent takeover dealt yet another blow to Israel's international image.” After two days passed, the news service filed a more neutral report.

The IDF has released a video clip where one of the so called "human rights advocates" on the the flotilla boat that was the scene of the violent confrontation is shouting "Go back to Auschwitz" to the soldiers.

The uproar cause him to lose his job, even after numerous apologies were made.  There was Al "Kill the Jews" Sharpton and Cynthia "The Jews Cost Me the Election" McKinney screaming in the streets of New York, Maxine Waters held special Congressional Hearings, and every media outlet was out for his blood.

Today we are hearing the outrage over Helen Thomas' remarks from the media:



I am not angry over this, I am furious over this. I am sick and tired of these idiot elites masquerading as journalist spouting out anti-Semitism, then when they start feeling the heat they issue such a bland apology figuring that the hoopla will die down.

Not this time. It is time for Helen Thomas to face the music.  It is time for this senile old bwitch is thrown out of the White House.  Put her out to pasture now!

Tim Geithner Knew About Lehman Accounting Gimmicks? $50B Lehman Accounting Shuffle

U.S. Treasury Secretary, Timothy Geithner, was president of the New York Federal Reserve Bank at the same time Lehman-Brothers was using financial engineering (accounting gimmicks) to shuffle $50B in toxic assets off its books, before collapsing in September 2008. There is little doubt Geithner had to know, concealed the facts and failed to take appropriate action.

No coincidence that the New York Times and Huffington Post fail to cite the Fed's, and Tim Geithner's, lack of action made clear from the 2200 page report.

Naked Capitalism takes a look at a new examiner's report into how and why Lehman failed, showing Tim Geithner is likely complicit in cover-up:

It also emerges that the NY Fed, and thus Timothy Geithner, were at a minimum massively derelict in the performance of their duties, and may well be culpable in aiding and abetting Lehman in accounting fraud and Sarbox violations.

We need to demand an immediate release of the emails, phone records, and meeting notes from the NY Fed and key Lehman principals regarding the NY Fed's review of Lehman's solvency. If, as things appear now, Lehman was allowed by the Fed's inaction to remain in business, when the Fed should have insisted on a wind-down (and the failed Barclay's said this was not infeasible: even an orderly bankruptcy would have been preferred....) the NY Fed at a minimum helped perpetuate a fraud on investors and counterparties.

WaPo Obama Admin Myopic Irresponsible Dangerous: Eric Holder AG Gone Wild

The Washington Post has come out with a sharp criticism of the Obama administration and their handling of Christmas Day Underpants bomber, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab. WaPo called the Obama administration "myopic, irresponsible and potentially dangerous.

The WaPo editorial says they originally supported the administration's decision to charge Abdulmutallab in federal civilian court - until they realized that the decision to do so had not "been made after due consideration." The article says the decision was a "knee-jerk default to a crime-and-punishment model."

It is now clear that the administration did not give serious thought to anything but Door No. 1. This was myopic, irresponsible and potentially dangerous.

The problem WaPo has is believing "due consideration" would have logically come to the conclusion that Abdulmutallab belonged in a civilian court. Nevertheless, it is good to see mainstream media drop their groveling to above knee level, but where was their own assessment of the situation...their own questioning of an obviously controversial situation.

The Senate Homeland Security Committee found last week that no one in the massive intelligence and homeland security bureaucracy were consulted about Abdulmutallab being Mirandized and placed into the federal civilian court system. No one was consulted! This leaves the responsibility with Barack Obama and Eric Holder. The White House says they did not know about the plan until after the Underpants Bomber had been Mirandized. Eric Holder has been an Attorney General gone wild since he stepped into the office.

All through the first year of The Anointed One the people of the land did grumble.

"You are spending too much!"
"Increasing the debt!"
"The jobs are gone, make more!"
"The banks will fail again!"
"The car companies will fail!"
"HEALTH CARE!"

And did The Anointed One listen to the people of the land?  No He did not.  For He was told by Pelosi the Loud and Reid the Inept that they can do what they want, for the people will forget.

So while all through the Summer of Discord,. while tempers ran wild, The Anointed One just plowed forward with His own New Deal.

"We will push it through Congress!" The Anointed One shouted to His staff.  "We will force this on the people."  And the Progressives did laugh.

"We will change the nation, turn it into Europe-lite.  By the time We are finished, those idiots in the street will not be able to change it back."

"For Nanny is the name of the New Welfare Plan.  Total Cradle to Grave, We will do to them as well.  I know best, that everyone can see.  My way is the Right Way.  That is what I say it will be!"

All through the summer and into the fall, the warning signs were there for all to see, but The Anointed One became blinded to the truth.

He ignored the disaster of the Olympics, how His city of Chicago was turned down.  Or when He went to campaign for Virginia and Jersey of New, He couldn't turn those races around.

He put on the tears for the victims of Fort Hood, but refused to call it terror.
He ignored the Christmas bomber, it upset His plans for golf and fun that week.
But when His friend's son received a boo-boo, He ran back as fast as He could.
He partied day and night in the warm Hawaiin sands.

But on the eve of His first year anniversary.  He has received the worst news.
The Fiefdom of the Kennedy's:  Massachusetts has left the color blue.
The Fiefdom that old Joe the Bootlegger bought for his own son.  A piece of land that was the birthplace of the progressive slant.
The land of Harvard (the school The Anointed One attended.), of Barney the Frank and Kerry the Swiftboater, plus other illustrious names.
The Fiefdom of John the Martyr and Teddy the Lecher, both of Camalot fame, did hold court.  Those names plus Tips, remained true in count.

Yet of the day before the anniversary of the anointing by John of Roberts, the Holy Chief of Justice, where He was endowed with the Mantle of Power, did the news break unto Him.  His party just lost the Fiefdom of Massachusetts, and may never get it back.

There goes the New Deal for the Nation.  The Nanny must go!  The people have turned against us.  Our seats will be given to another.  The people have spoken in Massachusetts, a Fiefdom so blue it was nearly black.  The Kennedys don't run this Fiefdom any more.  The people have taken it back!

"We are fed up with your nanny, spending and lies.  You promised us openness on C-SPAN!  You said no smoke-filled rooms, transparency.  Yet you haven't delivered these.  What we want is good government.  Lower taxes, more jobs, less waste, less debt.  We didn't get that.  We want to feel safe when we fly.  Yet we don't feel safer too.  You treat those who cause harm to us like the common criminal.  Giving them rights they are not entitled to, setting them upon our shore.

For all these reasons and more, we have chosen our new champion Brown of the Body Politic.  He is our champion.  He is our Redeemer!"

The Anointed One reeled in horror.  He was the chosen.  He wore the Mantle of Power.  He was the one they had to worship.  He would see to it that the people would have this nanny nation to live on.

But it is too late for the false Messiah He has become, His oration will fail.  For the people of the nation have awakened.  Now they will just count the days to the next election where they can correct the mistake they made in 08!

Kick A Black Day!

First of all the useful idiots in the media would have broken into their regularly scheduled news program with not only this as breaking news, but hourly updates on the condition of the victims. Each and every government official from the President on down would be commenting on this event with the President holding an kicking summit over ice cream at the White House. School officials would be fired at once with total sensitivity training and classes being taught for days. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would be holding daily rallies in the town. Finally Maxine Waters would hold Congressional Hearings. So why didn't anything like that happen when a Florida school allowed a 'Kick A Jew Day'?

Ten students at a Florida middle school were suspended after district officials say they participated in "kick a Jew day." District spokesman Joe Landon says a Jewish student at North Naples Middle School reported being kicked on Thursday. The school's principal addressed the entire student body the next morning and asked for anyone with information about the alleged attack to come forward. The district determined that 10 students should be punished. They each served one day of in-school suspension Monday. Landon says the first 20 minutes of the school day, which is normally used for reading and tutoring, will now be used to teach students about respect, kindness and ways to prevent bullying. No criminal charges have been filed.

I would bet you any amount of money that if the victim was black not only would charges be filed, but they would be charged as adults. Nice school they have at North Naples Middle School. So nice that they teach the basics in education: Reading, Writing, Arithmetic, Anti-Semitism. Just the basics. HuffPo Rupert Murdoch Petition: Rupert Murdoch Barack Obama Liberal Smoke Screen

A HuffPo contributor is launching a petition to make Rupert Murdoch decide whether Glenn Beck is racist or not. The petition, according to the Huffington Post will "demand" that Murdoch "put an end to Fox's race-baiting, or admit he agrees with it." But I don't think that's what the Left is so upset about. Really, this is just a Liberal smoke screen to block out what Murdoch really said about Barack Obama. See videos below.

A short background to this story is that Glenn Beck made a statement that he thought Obama was racist. Rupert Murdoch's FOX News Channel hosts Beck's show. In an interview with an Assie, Murdoch said Obama "did make a very racist comment." And he said, "when you assess what he [Beck] was talking about, he was "right."

Murdoch said something else in the interview though, that the Left must really, really hate.  Just after the Beck conversation, Murdoch is asked how he thinks Obama is doing and  Murdoch said he is doing " badly," and then he cites a few polls. The Huffington Post deleted this conversation from their video and doesn't mention it in their article. They link to Politico who mentions nothing about Obama doing "badly."

So now a petition is launched to put Murdoch on the hot seat. Does Murdoch think Obama is a racist or not? That's the question.

Now you've been caught defending the words and behavior of Glenn Beck, the worst of the worst when it comes to race-baiting, whom more than 80 advertisers have abandoned--because of the very comments you endorsed.

Murdoch issued a statement after the interview that is giving Liberals some hope that Murdoch didn't mean what he said at all. This from a Beck spokesman:

“He does not at all, for a minute, think the president is a racist,” Ginsberg said.

I have no doubt that Murdoch will retreat from his support of Beck. There's very little spine left in anyone rich and famous these days. So abandon Beck. Abandon your conscience. Go ahead. We don't care anymore.

Most of us out here are fed-up with the weenie politically correct conversation going on. If anyone thinks Murdoch did not mean what he said - Obama "did make a very racist comment" - then you are indulging in fantasy. After all, that is a very clear statement. Does Murdoch think that Obama, every minute of every day, is racist? Probably not. So we will just bite our nails while we wait to see what this powerful petition brings about. LOL!

V is a story of space aliens on earth, perfectly crafted replicas of human beings, invading and promising change. Is that a smooth talking alien next to you in line at the grocery store or...?

According to the Chicago Tribune, this smash hit TV plot will "infuriate" Obama supporters and "delight" his detractors opponents.

Imagine this. At a time of political turmoil, a charismatic, telegenic new leader arrives virtually out of nowhere. He offers a message of hope and reconciliation based on compromise and promises to marshal technology for a better future that will include universal health care.

The news media swoons in admiration -- one simpering anchorman even shouts at a reporter who asks a tough question: "Why don't you show some respect?!" The public is likewise smitten, except for a few nut cases who circulate batty rumors on the Internet about the leader's origins and intentions. The leader, undismayed, offers assurances that are soothing, if also just a tiny bit condescending: "Embracing change is never easy."

So, does that sound like anyone you know? Oh, wait -- did I mention the leader is secretly a totalitarian space lizard who's come here to eat us?

In V, the Vatican buys it all, but do the mainstream Catholics? What about those pesky Protestants? Can the anti-Christ be an alien?

The story line sounds like a trap to me. This totalitarian space lizard will end the season wearing a white hat...he'll be the good guy. Could it happen any other way?

By Findalis of Monkey in the Middle Today Barack Hussein Obama, President of the United States, Leader of the Free World and Champion of Free Speech declared War on Fox News Channel. Using his Kapos, he has attempted a Blitzkrieg upon the Network.

White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel told CNN that President Obama does not want "the CNNs and the others in the world [to] basically be led in following Fox." Obama senior adviser David Axelrod went further by calling on media outlets to join the administration in declaring that Fox is "not a news organization." "Other news organizations like yours ought not to treat them that way," Axelrod counseled ABC's George Stephanopoulos. "We're not going to treat them that way."

While the other News Networks Propaganda Mills are rallying around the President, his Healthcare proposals, and denigrating the protesters on 9/12 as a bunch of kooks and racists, Fox News has been hitting hard on Obama's czars, his foreign policy, his economic policy, his Healthcare proposal, and the general lies and deceits Barack Hussein Obama has brought to Washington. Looking at the lead stories from the other networks it is no wonder that Obama wants Fox News to start looking like them. Instead of examining the Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, Healthcare, and the situation in Iran, viewers at CNN and other media outlets (to call them news channels would be erroneous) subject their viewers to Sexy Michael Buble jokes, bed-wetting, and Balloon Boy. Not exactly the hard-hitting stories. More like fluff for the masses. Or the example of distinguished journalism by such reporters ink slingers like Rick Sanchez.

Mr. Sanchez once wrote: Sanchez generated controversy on Twitter when he wrote in his account, "do u know how much money i’d make if i’d sold out as hispanic and worked at fox news, r u kidding, one problem, looking in mirror." In response, Fox News anchor Julie Banderas wrote on Twitter, "As a wise Latina woman, I have no comment other than to say...if I were Rick Sanchez, I wouldn't look in the mirror, period." A Fox News spokesman also responded with, "Everyone knows that Rick is an industry joke, he shows that he's a hack everyday. And he doesn't have to worry about working at FOX because we only hire talent who have the ability to generate ratings."

Rick Sanchez, Politically Correct Hack, pushes the pro-Obama agenda, flunked his course in objectivity at college, is openly anti-Semitic (he supports La Voz de Aztlan openly including their full anti-Semitic rhetoric), and is vying for the Joseph Goebbels award for Excellence in Journalism. Is it any wonder that a Conservative like Lou Dobbs (the only Conservative on the staff) is leaving CNN (Hostile work environment?). The last President who declared war on the media was Richard Nixon. He declared war on the Washington Post and New York Times. Look what happened to him. A fair warning to any President with skeletons in his closet. President Obama thinks the heat is on now, just wait a bit. Think of what the heat will be like if and when Fox News start to investigate his private finances (Deep Throat did tell Woodward and Burnstein to "Follow the money."). Nixon's approval ratings were very high when the Washington Post started to investigate Watergate. Obama doesn't have that luxury any more. Even Saturday Night Live and Late Night Comics are taking potshots at him: SNL Obama Do Nothing Skit 10 3 09 View at YouTube. The honeymoon is over President Obama. You better grow a thick coat, the satire and criticism is just going to get worse.

Nostalgia for Cronkite: How Cronkite Changed America

My last and most vivid memory of Walter Cronkite is Bill and Hillary Clinton on the Cronkite yacht. That coverage made a impression on me. I never forgot it, probably because it was a turbulent time for America. When I heard of Mr. Cronkite's death, I remembered those photographs and the media coverage - it was huge. The photo below is from August 25, 1998 and the photo caption said the location is "near Edgartown, Mass." I do not have nostalgia for Cronkite, although the remembrances have been interesting. Everyone who is "anyone" wants to tell their story of Walter Cronkite to one of America's current important anchors. The stories would be important if the real stories, or perhaps all the stories were told, which would lead us to how Cronkite changed America.

The photo above is less than month after Monica Lewinsky delivered her semen-stained blue dress to Ken Starr. On August 17th President Bill Clinton admitted his "improper physical relationship" with Lewinsky and that evening he addressed the Nation. Eleven days later, Walter Cronkite took Clinton under his wing and offered respectability from the "most trusted man in America." Cronkite didn’t know what he was talking about when it came to Tet, as the late Peter Braestrup demonstrated in his colossal expose of the scandalous media coverage of the battle, Big Story. But he knew that among the people who mattered to him, and who were the leading edge of ideological fashion, Tet was a failure because the war in Vietnam was bad, and he took to the airwaves to say so.

Mainstream Media Vulgarity: Red Eye Video: The Crude, The Rude, The Teabagging

The mainstream media parties on April 15th made a bigger splash than the TEA parties held around the country...if, that is, you still watch the degenerates at work. That splash we're hearing is in the toilet. As 200,000+ gathered (some estimates are as high as 750,000) at town squares, court house plazas, and veteran's parks all over the U.S. to protest policies of out-of-control spending and unfair and high taxes, the mainstream media laughed themselves silly as they marveled that:

...everyone involved is apparently unaware of what the term "teabagging" means.

According to these sophmores, "There is only one thing in all the world worth noting about the people behind these things," - and that one thing is talk about teabagging. Fox News explains it this way:

For CNN, MSNBC and other media outlets, it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to use the word "teabagging" in a sentence.

Teabagging, for those who don't live in a frat house, refers to a sexual act involving part of the male genitalia and a second person's face or mouth.

Rachel Maddow and Air America's Ana Marie Cox:

Now, no laughing off set or I will lose it!" begged Maddow, "I'm only barely making it through as it is." She said this BEFORE Cox joined the segment. From there, it just got better: "Who wouldn't want to tea bag John McCain?" Cox asked. "This is all part of the midterm strategy," she added. "You know it's going to be teabagging 24/7 when it comes to the midterms." And it shall be. Of this you can be certain.

Keith Olberman, MSNBC, had this to say:

Well, the teabagging is all over, except for the cleanup. And that will be my last intentional double entendre on this one at least until the end of this segment.

Olberman lied. Of course, there was much more. You can read Olberman and Jeanane Garafolo's comments at Right Pundits, and see the video of the interview as well. CNN's Anderson Cooper's performance was done with a straight face according to Red Eye. The video is hilarious, as host Greg Gutfeld and gang skewer Cooper, and MSNBC's David Shuster. MSNBC's David Shuster weaved a tapestry of "Animal House" humor Monday as he filled in for Countdown host Keith Olbermann.

The protests, he explained, amount to "Teabagging day for the right wing and they are going nuts for it."

He described the parties as simultaneously "full-throated" and "toothless," and continued: "They want to give President Obama a strong tongue-lashing and lick government spending." Shuster also noted how the protesters "whipped out" the demonstrations this past weekend.

Brent Bozell, president of Media Research, said the media coverage was "insulting."

I've never seen anything like it," Bozell said. "The oral sex jokes on (CNN) and particularly MSNBC on teabagging ... they had them by the dozens. That's how insulting they were toward people who believe they're being taxed too highly." Max Pappas, public policy vice president at FreedomWorks -- a small-government group which promoted the tea parties -- said it's a "shame" media outlets cracked jokes at a genuine "grassroots uprising." "I think what that reveals is how worried they are that this might actually be something serious. You make fun of things you're afraid of, I'd say," Pappas said. If anyone thinks the orally charged remarks on mainstream cable were just a coincidence, MSNBC's Rachel Maddow's segments over the past week with guest, Air America's Ana Marie Cox, would dissolve all doubt. Their on-air gymnastics, dancing around the double entendre of the week, looked like live-action Beavis and Butthead. By one count, the two of them used the word "teabag" more than 50 times on one show. And on Monday, Cox even let the viewers in on their joke -- referencing Urban dictionary.com, a site which offers a number of colorful definitions for the term "teabagging." "Well, there is a lot of love in teabagging," Cox said. "It is curious, though, as you point out, they do not use the verb 'teabag.' It might be because they're less enthusiastic about teabagging than some of the more corporate conservatives who seem to have taken to it quite easily."

This bunch, The Rude and The Crude...they think they're cute. What do you think?I am convinced that the path to a new, better and possible world is not capitalism, the path is socialism.

Silence = Acceptance

Each day I see more and more evidence of the hatred and bigotry associated with "The Religion of Peace", and not one elected official or member of the media speak out in horror of what they have seen and heard. Their silence is deafening. The supporters of murderers take to the streets and the media covers them. What they don't show the public is the level of hatred that these hordes spew at all times. Scenes like this do not make it on to the nightly news:

I could post hundreds of videos like these, but you get the point. The world does nothing to counter this. And it frightens me. I know this frightens many elder Jews. Men and women who suffered the horrors of the Holocaust. They remember how that started, they remember the songs and chants of hatred, and where it led. The Holocaust didn't start with Dachau and Auschwitz, it ended there. It didn't start with World War 2, that war ended it. It started with an idea. That was all. An idea to rid the world of all people who were Jewish. How they did it is a lesson in hate. It happened in 4 stages. Stage 1: Propaganda It started first with a media campaign. With cartoons and articles depicting Jews as less then human. The Nazis had to win over the hearts and minds of the German people. And it was through the media of the time: Print, radio, and film that they were to accomplish it.

As you can see by the above example, Jews are depicted as lazy and unGerman. Exactly the idea the Nazis wanted to show. And in today's media anti-Semitic cartoons are again being shown. Not just in the Muslim world where they are acceptable, but here in the United States and in Europe.

Already the media has joined the bigots in their campaign. The print media has already started the process in 1990 and the rest of the media (Conservative radio withstanding) is jumping on the band wagon. It is already to blame Israel and more importantly Jews for all the evils in the world. That is the message the majority of people in the West are hearing day and night from the media. It is becoming their mantra, their motto. And the majority of people in the West are like sheep. They are easily led and manipulated. Stage 1 is well underway. On to Stage 2. Stage 2: Protests and Riots Stage 2 is the "People's Uprising" part of the operation. In this supposed average citizens (and in the case of German: Brownshirts) take to the streets in protests. These protests get more and more violent over the weeks, months or years, culminating in the ultimate protest of all: The Riot (in Germany Kristallnacht). Again we are seeing the middle part of Stage 2. So-called "citizen protests" in every major city in the world. Many are turning violent. In London and Paris there have been riots.

This is just the beginning. The protests all over the world will get more and more violent and will be attacking more and more Israeli and Jewish businesses and people. Governments will have to cave into the demands of the rioters in order to have peace. There is just one problem. Their demands lead directly to Stages 3 and 4. By this time the government is able to start their "Final Solution" without any subterfuge. They will eliminate the rabble crowd from public view (In Germany Hitler destroyed the Brownshirts) and can operated openly with public support in many cases. Stage 3: Deportation The government will begin the round up of their Jewish population to place them in safe areas. This now can be done openly and with great fanfare if the government wishes. The people will be placed in special areas with a city (as in the Warsaw Ghetto) or special areas in their nation (as in various Indian Reservations or Japanese Interment Camps). If people complain about it, they either mysteriously disappear or are brought up on false charges. If a group starts to complain about what is happening, they are reminded that these people are being relocated for their own protection.

The majority population either doesn't care or is openly supportive of the action being taken. Sometimes governments stop here. They either do not have the immorality in them to take the last step, or enough public outcry stops them from taking the last step. Stage 4: Genocide. It is a very small step to go from the rounding up of people to the mass execution of people. A very small step. This step is normally done without the public's knowledge and with a total or almost total media blackout. For if the general public ever found out about the slaughter of innocent people, they would be so horrified that they might not be easily controlled by the government. In Turkey the government rounded up millions of Armenians and slaughtered them by shootings, starvation, and illness.

In Germany at the start of the Holocaust, the Germans had a 2-fold idea. Starvation and mobile killing units (Einsatzgruppen). This units would dig a big ditch or pit, have the Jews rounded up, many times they would force the people to strip, then line the up and shoot them. At Babi Yar more than 34,000 men, women and children were murdered over a 2 day period.

But that was too inefficient and slow. The final step in the perfect genocide is the creation of "special death camps". Places where the only object is to kill your fellow man. The names of Auschwitz, Treblinka, Sobibór, Bełżec, Chełmno, and Majdanek jump out at you. They speak of untold horror and death. They are the end result in what started with Stage 1.

Already we are seeing the first 2 stages of the road to genocide being played out in the world. There is the media accepting as truth the propaganda and lies coming from the Muslim world, accepting without any questions. And there is the "People's Uprisings" being played all over the world. Already Stage 2 is progressing to riots and beatings. If left unchecked these riots will become worse and there will be murders associated with them. And what do we have to combat it? Very little. We have bloggers who try and spread the truth about what is happening. We have a few conservative speakers on the radio trying to spread the truth. But we have mostly silence. Silence from elected officials too scared of those who are rioting to anger them further and silence from the media, too afraid of losing their viewers. And thus has begun. I know many voices on the right who claim that this cannot happen again, that they will not allow it. But how many of them would actually lay down their lives to prevent it? It is one thing to say you will not allow it, but another to actually have to take a stand and prevent it. Each day I am reminded of the words of Edmund Burke, 1729-1797, British statesman and philosopher, who wrote:

"Evil flourishes when good men do nothing."

I pray that this time the good men and women will do something to stop it.
