New York Times Compares Tea Partiers to Weathermen

After a couple of weeks of serious threats against Republicans, in the wake of the passage of health care, the New York Times has compared the Tea Party movement with the violent 1960's-70's group, the Weathermen. The paper upped the disgust quotient by using a photo of Barack Obama's domestic terrorist friend, Bill Ayers (second from right with white shirt, dark jacket and glasses), during the Weathermen's Days of Rage.

The NYT asks When Does Political Anger Turn to Violence? It's a meaningless question if asked about Tea Partiers. The paper doesn't give a flip. They clearly understand that Tea Partiers are not violent. We are angry, but we are not violent. The media's lack of coverage of Leftist attacks

Remember the Tea Partier whose finger was bitten off by MoveOn.org protester? Remember the Tea Party Express bus being egged by Harry Reid supporters? Remember Kenneth Gladney, a Black man who was attacked at a Missouri townhall health care protest? SEIU members demanded to know what a Black man was doing handing out "Don't tread on me" flags?" Mr. Gladney was badly beaten:

The SEIU member used a racial slur against Kenneth, then punched him in the face. Kenneth fell to the ground. Another SEIU member yelled racial epithets at Kenneth as he kicked him in the head and back. Kenneth was also brutally attacked by one other male SEIU member and an unidentified woman. The three men were clearly SEIU members, as they were wearing T-shirts with the SEIU logo.

Remember Sarah Palin telling Tea Partiers in at a Nevada rally: "It is not time to retreat. It's time reload,"and she immediately explained that her words were not a call for violence, but telling people that their "arms"[weapons] are their votes.

Remember the Left's outcry: Palin is inciting violence? CNN actually put the words "Inciting Violence" below a video of Palin.

This blog notes MSNBC's Keith Olberman tried to be balanced about Sarah's comment in Nevada: "How much more proof do we need? Palin and anybody associated with her needs to be thrown in jail immediately with no parole...."

But CNN had no problem with Obama saying this: "if they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun. That's the Chicago Way!" CNN and the NYT had no problem with Barack Obama sharing an office with William "Bill" Ayers for three years. During the campaign for the 2008 elections, media didn't talk about Bill Ayers' Weathermen bombing a police station that injured man and killed the father of a little girl. Message to the NYT: You are a disgraceful, deceitful and downright untruthful rag.

Olbermann Inhofe Family Worst Family in World: Igloo Frosts Critics

No one draws attention to the mean spirit of liberalism better than Keith Olbermann. He has named Senator Jim Inhofe's daughter's family, including their 4 children, "the worst family in the world." We could say their igloo really frosted critics.

Molly Rapert, Jim Inhofe's daughter, her husband, Jimmy Rapert and their children were stranded in Washington, D.C. during the snow storm. On a bright and sunny day, they went outside and built a igloo - a big one.

Comments came from cars passing by: "Where's global warming when you need it? Jase Rapert, 14, thought a sign saying "Al Gore's New Home," would be appropriate. Then came "Honk if you heart global warming."

The story and the photos were everywhere. The Senator didn't know about the igloo until after it was done - but honestly, who cares if he built it and signed it. That would be even funnier.

Olbermann, 51, isn't exactly one to talk about what makes a great family. He has never married and has no children. No wonder is he is a crank-extraordinaire, but what a relief - no worries about his offspring. He has reportedly lived with Katy Tur since mid-2006. Now, in the second video below, you'll see Katy Tur, 25, dancing.Tur joined the Weather Channel in May 2009:

Olbermann denied any speculation that he assisted Tur in getting the Weather Channel gig, telling TV Newser that Tur was hired based on talent alone.

Olbermann signed off the video by calling Grandpa Inhofe a "cheesy politician."

Hehehe. Olbermann says conservatives are "crazy" to think his ratings are down. Can't wait to hear O'Reilly on this one. Olbermann didn't mention the FOXNews primetime star, who bashes Olbermann and MSNBC daily, but his photo, all done up in a tux does flash on the screen. In the video below you'll hear a rant about former First Lady Laura Bush's press secretary. Still blaming Bush.

January’s viewership numbers were released a few days ago, and “Countdown” was down 44% among adults ages 25 to 54 from last year at this time. He drew 268,000 viewers a night in that key group, compared to his rival Bill O’Reilly’s 964,000. The New York Post asked, “Has the countdown begun for the end of ‘Countdown with Keith Olbermann?’” Earlier in the week, Olbermann had bashed the AOL-owned website DailyFinance, not known for any particular partisan bent, as a “right-wing site” (that phrase has been erased from the transcript, but you can see it here: Link) TRANSCRIPT, SEGMENT

Tonight Olbermann fought back yet again against some of the ratings chatter that has been plaguing him all week. He boasted that his numbers grew between December and January, which unfortunately is not the relevant comparison and not a measurement anyone uses, unless they’re desperately trying to prove their own relevance. Well, for what it’s worth, Keith, you still have one loyal viewer who hopes “Countdown” has a long life on MSNBC. I really need this job.

Language alert. MSNBC's Keith Olbermann is having an election meltdown with Bob McDonnell, the Republican, winning the Governor's mansion in Virginia. Telling a little story about the low levels of swine flu vaccine, Olbermann calls Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC) a "sanctimonious son of a bitch."

He moves on to name others in his recurring categories of "worse," "worser," and "worst." Of course, Glenn Beck won "worst."

Now, I don't know what prompted this. I was chatting with hubby and didn't hear the lead-in, but Olbermann ended the segment with:

...if you are envoking 9-11 just to oppose health care reform...go to hell.
