Kirista Branch has her second video out with a new song, Remember Who We Are. The second video is Glenn Beck talking about Krista and her first song I Am America. Krista and her husband, Michael Branch and their daughter live in beautiful Bixby, Oklahoma, just a short trip down Memorial Drive from me (if she hasn't moved to Nashville or Hollywood or somewhere in the Big Time).

There is no way to explain this voice from this little girl, except to say that it is her real voice, there is no lip-synching. Two videos for your enjoyment.

Krista Branch is a Bixbyite. Bixby is a charming town just on the outskirts of the city of Tulsa, next door to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Bixby is the home of the best fresh produce in the area, beautiful loamy black soil that will grow anything, some lovely river views and the best hamburger in the whole area, according to my mother (The Brothers Bistro). I have yet to try it, but I plan to. See the video below.

I don't know anything about Dial Idol, but found a link from The Drudge Report. If it is reliable, Lee Dewyze is the American Idol winner.

American Idol's America Gives Back is asking for our donations tonight. The show has sent millions to many organizations do many good things, but this year we learn that some of our money has been given to to pro-abortion charitable organizations in the past, and AI supported a fund-raiser for Planned Parenthood in Los Angeles recently.
Michelle Obama and her daughters, Sasha and Malia escaped the throngs in the Capitol and went to Broadway to see Memphis, taking a dozen or so other with her. Do you think the Secret Service could possibly be alarmed that audience members tried to take photos of The First Lady and First and Second Daughters? Me neither - but...the report says they were. At intermission, Secret Service warned the audience they would confiscate anyone attempting to take more photos.
...the musical tells the story of a white DJ, Huey Calhoun, in 1050's segregated Tennessee; his love for a black singer, Felicia Powell, and the then underground sound that gave birth to rock and roll.

American Idol's Simon Cowell is the fiance of Mezhgan Hussainy. Mezhgan is the chief make-up artist on Idol. She and Cowell met on the show several seasons ago, and have been dating about a year. A wedding date has not been announced.
Meet Mezhgan, the make-up artist behind the Hollywood stars who is making a face in the beauty cosmetics world.Hussainy was born in Afghanistan. From a quote on her website, it seems her family fled Afghanistan when she was 8 years old (she is not 36 - Simon is 50).
"Just keep running and don't stop."
Those were the words my mother shouted as we fled Afghanistan, when I was just 8 years old. I knew we were headed for a better life, but I had no idea what was in store. That journey changed my life forever and I carry my mother's words with me through my life and into career, to this day.Source and another source.
